Never forget that Tracey’s debut scene consisted of him doing the following…

Interrupting a battle by calling for all trainers involved to hold on and then immediately stepped in to analyse all Pokémon involved.

Outright called out how three delinquents had been neglecting their Pokémon’s care by pointing out the Spearow was overweight and lacking vitamins, Beedrill’s colouring was off and Hitmonchan was clearly lacking in exercise necessary for helping Fighting types get stronger.

Praised Pikachu’s care, noting the shiny coat and developed electric sacs.

Made sketches and took notes the entire time he was doing so.

Wanted to have Pikachu do an electric attack so he could get a reading on his voltage meter - the reading was inconclusive since he wound up getting caught up in getting shocked when Pikachu was shocking the aforementioned Pokémon when the delinquents sicced them on Tracey.

Gave Ash medicine and ran off to get help after seeing Lapras looked hurt.

All of that happened in his debut scene. How can people call him boring when his debut wasn’t just “someone approaches and goes ‘oh hey, a Pikachu!’ or has a gentle introduction” but going all out in calling out neglect, praising proper care and getting shocked and then running off to get help for an injured Pokémon?

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

Instead of just changing the art style, I tried following the trends of the era to create a whole new design that looked believable for the time. For example, her outfit is based on Squirtle instead of Oshawott in this concept. :>

I mean, I wouldn't put it past Silver to get into an actual fistfight if provoked too much. Hop and Bede is pretty much all verbal banter, but Silver is still pretty rough-tempered and is an ex-criminal. (I assume that all stems from Giovanni and probably from growing up in Team Rocket, he does at least attempt to return the starter he stole and make things right, but Elm decided to forgive him and let him keep it.)
