"الخيل و الليل و البيداء تعرفني ... والسيف و الرمح و القرطاس و القلم" ، المتنبي
Translation: "the stallions, the night and the wasteland know me ... and the sword, the arrow, the parchment, and the pen", Al-Mutanabbi
A tribute of sorts to a man of many attributes.

man. other people have put it better than i will but... the whole situation with vash and knives and the angel arm really is assault.
vash is afraid of knives. full stop. vash is afraid.
knives triggering the angel arm is a violation of vash's bodily autonomy and then using vash to try to destroy juneora rock only compounds vash's trauma. vash already can't remember july, which implies what happened there was worse.
and with the way nightow draws the scene? vash is in pain. he hurts. he's crying, openly sobbing, doesn't want to be doing this -
knives is smiling.

One thing I find underrated is Sung Jin-Woo's and Baek Yoon-Ho's friendship
The way Yoon-Ho is soft with Jin-Woo after being aggressive with him
The way Jin-Woo is soft with Yoon-Ho in return
The way Jin-Woo had shadows on most of the Korean S-Rank hunters, but the first one that came out was the one from Yoon-Ho's shadow
The way Jin-Woo was checking on the people important to him, and that included Yoon-Ho (Jong-In there too, I guess, but what did you expect with Yoon-Ho)
The way they're connected through Jin-Woo's father and may or may not be aware of it

For anyone else who is gonna struggle surviving the next 3 weeks with the angsty and tense situation of Callowmoore here's a few things from the last 2 episodes that I feel were underrated and will assist in trying to keep me sane/emotionally stable:
- Matching messed up hands built for holding
- Fearne nervously playing with her hair as she approaches Ashton
- Ashton wanted Fearne to be either the last thing they saw if they died or the first thing they saw when they succeeded
- Fearne's admittance corroborates Ashley's 4SD revelation that Fearne is in love with someone in the party but doesn't know how to process the emotions
- Fearne wanted Ashton to be happy, while Ashton wanted to feel whole so they would be worthy of the Hells
- Ashton twice tried to lead a search for Fearne, and instantly clocking onto Chetney saying he followed Fearne
- Fearne making herself look as radiant as possible before giving Ashton the cold shoulder
- Ashton only rose to Chetney's provocations until he said 'You hurt Fearne'
Use how you will

The more I progress with Supernatural (I'm halfway season 12 now) the more is plain to see that the authors or whoever was in charge has a distinct preference for Dean and making him shine and Sam is basically just there to be the Woman in the Refrigerator. Even when Dean should be completely incapacitated and they make it seem like it's Sam in charge, he inevitably ends up tied up to a chair and Dean basically saves himself like a fucking deus ex machina with bowed legs. It's honestly getting tiresome and frustrating to see. The original appeal of Supernatural was also, if not especially, the relationship between the brothers, how they were both fully competent and well rounded on their own but complimented each other on different and deeper levels.
And although one might argue I'm biased when it comes to Sam (my beloved, my one and only), I genuinely love Dean's character. How could I not? With his reckless bravery and quick intellect - he isn't given enough credit for - and the overly macho persona covering up his softie heart.
The thing is, I signed up for a story about Dean and Sam; hell, their reunion, the unwillingness to let each other go, was the catalyst of everything that happened so far basically, it's insanity to me to push one of them so completely to the sidelines all the damn time, basically relegating a whole fleshed out fucking main character as side kick, sacrificing prior years of writing and development, just because you have to put the other in the spotlight all the damn time.
