Not one beat was missed. It had me by the throat for forty-seven minutes. Every moment was critical. Each pair boldly moved the line. This episode had no right to be as good as it was.

Then that bonus!

AND IT HAD THAT COKE MONEY!

I do not appreciate You're My Sky or those damn Red Rascals enough.

Some pannier shaped siblings, they met pre-msr days (they didn’t come in the same time)but were very happy to reunite with one another in the msr then in the Skarloey Railway 😊☺️

Their sibling friendship/relationship is like alastor and Rosie or Mary and jack, Nia didn’t care about Stanley’s “jinx” and defended him whenever he got bullied, she’s one of the very few folks who can make Stanley genuinely happy and do things like singing much to his colleagues surprise (also livery inspiration for one another♥️❤️🧡💜💛🖤)

Very much thinking about how nuts it is that there are builds in Warframe literally called "eidolon-killers". Like, there are these massive, effectively immortal machines(?) just out roaming the plains at night. You know that they were built, or maybe bred?, by a society significantly earlier and likely more advanced than you. Somehow, those guys all died or were killed, but their machines/beasts of burden/warhorses still walk around out there, every night, like nothing's wrong.

Beyond that, these things are powered and protected by power that doesn't quite come from Heaven, but it comes from somewhere in the same place as Heaven. They can't be hurt by any means, they actually have little minions that can be killed, but just stick around as ghosts that continue to attack you. The only way to actually damage them is to get a Tenno, essentially a kid from the same not-Heaven place, and break down the eidolon's barriers. Even after that, it's still ridiculously tough underneath, needing every one of it's main joins broken before actually being able to kill it.

Despite all of this, there are still Tenno out there who practically make it their jobs to kill these demigod-like creatures, to the point where there's a rifle famous for killing eidolons (Rubico). Specifically designed to be radioactive, no less. Thing is, eidolons aren't the only threat, so these hunters, if they aren't comically rich, are probably going to be using that rifle for normal missions, because it's one of their best weapons.

Just imagine if some guy took an elephant rifle modified to punch through a fucking tank without issue, as well as use plutonium rounds, and used it on normal soldiers on a battlefield. That is what happens in Warframe. That is what I do in Warframe.

let the record show that the vast majority of characters portrayed on this blog are trans. while i will very rarely go into detail about gender identity in regards to most muses on my roster, being trans is, inevitably, an important facet to all the characters it applies to, as it very much so impacts the way they view and interact with the world. it's apart of who they are. it's not some small and irrelevant thing, even in cases where there is unanimous acceptance and indifference on behalf of others.

with that being said, this fact does co-exist with the general rule that your muse will not automatically know that mine is/are trans, and that is something that i would really rather avoid unless we have properly discussed that knowledge being shared. being trans is an important aspect to many of my characters, yeah, but i don't want it to be the only thing people focus and fixate on, and it can feel even more weird when that becomes the sole point of intrigue with interactions.

Midnight Museum, episode 6 - The Mannequin (aka where we see just how insanely powerful a crystal anklet can be!)

Well, the episode open up with the tale of Adam and Eve (or Adam and Hawa in Islamic tale) and how they got punished by God for eating the forbidden apple, resulting in not only the expulsion from heaven but also their separation (this diverts slightly from the real verse in Bible/Quran).

This tale was narrated by Ton, who is the next door neighbour to Dome. He has a lame right leg, prays to God and leads a lonely life, always pining for a woman companion. We later learn that he is also cursed object from Zone 16 (a mannequin) brought to live by Dome’s power and escaped during the robbery in the first episode. Due to his loneliness, he started collecting parts of mannequin to build a companion (in a shape of a woman), and by coincidence (or not, as I think Dome touched the arm that was later used as part of the mannequin to build Anne) - Anne was brought to live, albeit with imperfection (also having a lame right leg)

And while the above is playing out, Dome met Anthika (i.e The High Priestess) with the meeting engineered by the latter. However, it appears there is something more to Dome than just his amnesia and connection to the artefacts. He appears to have the power to command people, including Anthika, which impresses her (also interesting to see she cannot touch Dome - that is one mighty crystal anklet! Worth the 3 billion dollar tag price 🫣)…and there might be a new player on board (someone who appears to be higher than Anthika…is that Tay Tawan underneath the hooded robe??)

We also see Dome and Khatha pining and missing each other while June and Triphop (esp. June) are getting exasperated by Khatha’s stubbornness. June being fed up, took Dome out for a friendship date at the amusement park, but unfortunately their date ended up with a sour note - June feeling watched and Dome getting spooked by his reflection on a mirror (I will too if my own reflection started to say hi!)

It ended with Dome getting kidnap by Ton and Anne as the latter wants the perfect leg (they have already killed another woman previously to get Anne a replacement leg but that leg was deemed not a great fit). Anne clearly knows more than Ton when she decided to choose Dome (who being shorter than her means that his leg is no way a fit for her. But as Anne informed Ton they needed Dome’s leg (or really to get the anklet off), as it was his powers that brought them to live and they want to unleash said power. Khatha arrived in time, tussling with Ton who was about to chop Dome’s leg. Anne took the opportunity to do her own chopping while the 2 were fighting. However, the anklet is definitely proving its worth, and the backlash turned Anne back into a mannequin and Dome unconscious.

Ton got turned back into a mannequin by Anthika who then informed Khatha that “The Lord/God? Will be back and she will be the one to stand by him.” - hemmm, perhaps a warning to Khatha of Dome’s power but also giving notice that she is not planning to give Dome up?

(Ok, I’m getting more intrigue - so many questions…is Anthika part of a religious cult??? Why is she so obsessed about Dome apart from the power he has? Is Khatha and Dome really brothers in the past life? How did Anne knew about Dome to begin with??? And what/who is Dome?)….

Fan Season 6 Episode 2: Breaking the Dome

It is early morning, and Arkayna gets a call from Queen Goodfey, asking her and the rest of the Mysticons to meet her at the palace balcony urgently. They go, and are surprised to see a dome around the city. Zarya wonders if the Astromancers have something to do with it, as the dome is similar to the one used to protect the city from Necrafa. While Em is unsure, as Proxima would have told them if there was a need for the dome, Sharise points out that it wouldn't hurt to check there to see if they do know anything.

They go to the Astromancer Academy, where many top-level Astromancers are trying to research. Proxima asks the Mysticons if they're there about the dome, and when the Mysticons confirm that they are, Proxima tells them that they are just as confused about the dome as anyone else. She reveals that she checked the device that created the dome to see if there was some kind of misfunction or if someone accidently turned on the dome, but it was off.

The Mysticons spread out in order to look for clues about the dome. Sharise asks Zarya and Piper, who are on opposite sides of the city, to attack the dome, filming themselves doing so. The others are confused, but Zarya and Piper do so. The force field appears to be equally strong on both ends, and after Em and Arkayna attack on their ends and get the same result, they realize that in order for that to happen, whatever's making the force field may be in the middle of the city. Arkayna points out that's where the palace is, and Zarya points out how, if Mallock is behind the dome, then he may have put a device in the palace.

Once they go to the palace, they tell the King and Queen what they discovered, and their guess about where the device is. The royal family helps the Mysticons look, and Piper finds it in one of the statues, getting her arm stuck in the process. After Queen Goodfey and Em gets Piper's arm unstuck, they try to turn off the machine, but are unable to do so. They decide to go to the Astromancer Academy.

Proxima examines the device, and admits that, while it does have strong protection magic, they will be able to figure it out. It would take time though, so Proxima suggests that the Mysticons look to see if there's any issues caused by the dome, and solve them if possible. The Mysticons agree, and they leave.

While monitoring the city for any signs of trouble, the Mysticons notice that there's no immediate signs of trouble, but magic does seem to be getting weaker. They then see a ship in the distance, and realize that it's carrying important medical supplies, including a rare potion needed urgently in the hospital to save a severly ill patient. Em wonders if there's some underground tunnel that is too far down to be blocked by the dome, and if so, they can use that. Zarya calls Queen Goodfey to see, and she reveals there is a sewer system, but the grates aren't large enough for a person to slip through, and the grate would be very difficult to open, especially since they can't access the outside of the city. The Mysticons get water breathing potions from Malvaron, and they try to gester and mouth words to get the sailors to pass anything they can through the gate's holes, if possible. They then realize that the dome isn't soundproof, and just ask them. The plan works, as the sailors have water breathing potions in case of emergency, and while some of the equiptment is too large to fit, others, including the potion, can fit.

Just as they finish delivering the medicine, they get a call, saying that the Astromancer Academy is under attack. They go, and see Mallock with shadow creatures attacking the Astromancers. They manage to fight Mallock off, but he does escape. With Mallock and his shadow creatures out of the way, the Astromancers are able to break the protection magic on the device and turn it off.

Back at Mallock's hideout, he is looking at the device he made, and realizes that he is close to having enough magic to summon the creature, since the dome did drain some magic. He smiles, saying that his next plan will certainly provide enough magic.
