in the depth of your heart, you’ve always known that you’d end up with xavier thorpe, or have a high school love story with him, so there was no surprise for anyone that knew you, that when he finally asked you out to be his date on the upcoming ball, you were on cloud nine. almost as if he knew that you’ve rejected at least four boys that invited you.

suddenly becoming involved and interested in anything that revolved around the dance, looking out for a dress with enid, and wednesday was much more fun than you anticipated, asking yoko to help you out with make-up, and hair. you were ecstatic — happier than you’ve ever been.

it was finally your turn, after so much time of sulking, you got a chance.

at least you thought so. xavier thorpe has been your friends ever since your parents put you together in one crib, during a spontaneous meet-up with his. you were always there for him, hardly ever putting yourself before him. it wasn’t a shock, when you developed a crush, you could say it was expected.

and then, when he put down another of your offer to have at least one dance, you realized what was going on. your best friend wasn’t as happy as you, whenever the topic of the ball was brought up, changing it as soon as possible, he wasn’t keen on dancing, his mind definitely somewhere else. his eyes tracing around wednesday addams.

your heart clutched in your chest as you shifted in your chair, ready to stand up. “maybe you’d stop sulking if you asked her, instead of sitting here.” you rolled your eyes, the happiness far gone on your face. “do it. i’ll be outside if you were looking for me.” he just nodded his head in reply.

sneaking out noiselessly, you managed to climb upstairs to your dorm to quickly find a bottle of wine, you’d hit under your bed earlier. as soon as your dress touched the wooden floor, your eyes filled with tears — how couldn’t you think about it? even for a second? it was so painfully obvious that he was using you to get her jealous.

the bottle emptied pretty rapidly, but it wasn’t the only bottle you had hidden somewhere in your room. sobs, accompanied by the tunes of a song playing from a random, heartbreak playlist, filled the quiet room as you poured another glass of the liquid. you were just a pawn in his game, a small chapter that didn’t matter, not as much as he mattered to you.

you didn’t even think about washing off your makeup, as it only reminded you about the humiliation you faced after putting it on. you didn’t even put the dress back into the wardrobe, nor clean the empty bottles of your favorite wine.

yet, even though you were hurting so much, all you could do is wonder if he looked for you after your sudden disappearance, did he care enough to be at least a little worried, although you wouldn’t like to know the answer, it didn’t matter anyway.

when your roommate finally came back, her white dress soaked in red paint, she didn’t even care that your sheets would get stained, she didn’t even ask about the reason of your current state, she just pulled you into a hug, and didn’t let go for the next hours as you poured out your heart.

“why do i keep doing this? why do i keep running back to him, whenever he gets upset? why does it hurt so much, when i should’ve known it would end up like that.” you cried, head resting on her laps as you sipped the sweet liquid from the bottle. “will it ever be me?” you asked.

on the next day of classes, you weren’t really yourself. you were rarely bothered by anything, always trying to bring a good mood wherever you went, now — you were the complete opposite. earphones plugged in your ears with music blasting so loud that you barely heard your own thoughts, sunglasses resting at the bridge of your nose to hide the puffiness, and redness of your eyes, not even a single word coming out of your mouth.

“earth to y/n.” bianca tapped your shoulders lightly, grabbing your attention. you two weren’t exactly best friends — she was an ex-girlfriend of a boy you were so obviously interested in, yet you managed to hold everything in for the period of their relationship. “what happened between you, and xavier last night?” she asked, a worried expression painted all over her face.

bianca respected you more than anyone that could possibly be a threat to her relationship with thorpe, when they were still together. which was weird for anyone around you, knowing how inseparable the two of you could be, yet you never wanted to be the one to ruin their best friend’s relationship. so when bianca questioned your motives, not believing any of your words until you asked her to use the siren speak on you to learn the truth. that you backed out the second he told you, that you kept your feelings and affection for yourself.

“nothing.” you shrugged. “i was just a pawn to get wednesday’s attention, something i should’ve expected.” you cracked a sad smile, fixing the sunglasses on your nose. the girl seemed to be… shocked, a frown appearing on her face.

“he was unable to stop talking about you, when we were together yet now when he has a chance, he pulls out shit like that?” a sigh escaped from between her lips, arm threw over your shoulder. “i’ll swing by our room tonight, i’ll make sure you’ll be busy with something else.”

you smiled at the girl, accepting the offer, before she got back to her friend group. a notification popped up on the screen of your phone, a humorless laugh leaving your lips immediately.

xav: need 2 talk, my shack in 5?

as a rational human-being you were (with additional psychic abilities), you left him on read, and never stepped into his art studio. well, at first you were convinced to do it, but your legs decided upon going there — so again, you were running back to him whenever he wanted.

“hey.” you spoke out softly. “you said you needed to talk?” you added, the dim lighting of the room making him almost invisible. his head shot to you immediately, determination painted all over his face.

“where were you after you left?” his words sharply cut through the thick tension built around you. you were about to part your lips, and reveal yourself, when he added. “were you in the woods? that’s why you had to run away so fast? because you are the–”

so this is what it was all about — he didn’t want to see you to check if you were fine, he wanted to see you to investigate if you were the hyde that hurt eugene, and killed rowan. you let out a humorless chuckle, turning your back on him, ready to leave, though his hand gripped on your lower arm.

“so you are the hyde.” he stated, eyes burning with fury. “you left to run after eugene, because he found out about your little secret, so you had to cut ties?” his words incredibly pained you, cutting your heart like a knife, proceeded by stabbing.

you let out a long sigh, looking him dead in the eyes. “i was in my dorm, bawling my eyes out while drinking the wine my sister sent me, because my date didn’t even bother to look at me for a second, even though i spent my last savings to buy a dress, so maybe for once, he would look at me and think that i look pretty, that i did it for him.” you felt the tears filling up your eyes, yet you kept going. “i’ve spent the entire night, wondering when my role as a pawn in his game will end. and i’ve come to a conclusion that it won’t happen, there’s always gonna be someone above me in his hierarchy, even though we were friends for more than i can remember.” he let your arm out of the grip, a confused grimace on his lips. “why didn’t you just ask her? oh wait, i know, i’ve already been told why. you did ask her out, but she refused to go, because tyler invited her earlier, so i was just a getaway car as always.”

when he didn’t break the silence after you finished your monologue, you left, running away to the woods to gather your thoughts, and cry for the fifth time that day. you clearly weren’t in a mood to talk to anyone without a sip of wine. you felt invisible, when you found yourself a seat somewhere in the forest. you were sure that your roommate would ask the teachers to give you a sick day, firmly explaining what happened.

xav: yn,,, im sorry, can we talk it through?

you didn’t reply at all, starting to hold a silent grudge against him, for once, placing yourself before anyone else. until the classes were finished, you were walking around the woods, gathering herbs for your potions, trying to calm down.

throughout your whole life, you believed that your mom has linked your souls together at the very young age, so you could be some sort of anchor for each other, whenever something overwhelmed you, nonetheless it was a double-sided sword. he could mess you up to the point, where you had to take a calming potion (and vice versa), or he could be the one to calm you like no one other could.

so when the evening came, you found yourself dressed up in your favorite pjs, which some time ago belonged to your best friend (now it’s yours, of course), standing at the door leading to bianca’s dorm. two bottles of wine, hidden in the depth of your bag.

“i hope you bought more wine, she drank two and a half bottle last night.” your roommate laughed, arm wrapped around your shoulders as you walked into the room.

the time flew by as you emptied at least three bottles, and you were comfortably laying down on divina’s bed, covered in a blanket junpier brought with her. “he accused me of being the monster today.” you spoke out suddenly, changing the topic back to xavier, who endlessly occupied your mind. “and earlier, enid told me he actually asked wednesday to go with him, she just refused.”

“he really has no shame, has he?” bianca rolled her eyes, taking a seat next to you, and gave you the tightest hug it was only possible. “you know, the thing with wednesday will die down soon, and he’ll come back sooner than you think, he always does.” she planted a soft kiss on your forehead to make her words more believable.

“and if he doesn’t, which is doubtful, then you have us, we can find you someone.” divina joined you on the bed, a big smile spread over her face as she watched you let out a light chuckle. “maybe elliott, the werewolf? he’s pretty hot.”

you were cuddling for the rest of the night, sleeping in the most uncomfortable positions that ever existed, surrounded by blankets, and lots of pillows. after that night, full of drunk confessions, words of reassurance, cuddles and lots of wine, you felt confident enough to face xavier.

it happened sooner than you anticipated, you made your way downstairs to see him, waiting and knocking at the door, pale, and shaken up. “hey, looking for someone?” you asked, his large t-shirt hanging loosely on your body.

“yn, can we talk it through? please.” he asked, begged, watching as you walked into the room, and when you didn’t close the door, he took it as a sign to step. “we?” you scoffed. “let me explain myself.”

“i don’t know if i want to hear it.” you smiled at him, before mumbling something under your breath with a hand above a pack of cookies, changing it to a proper meal. “eat it, then we can talk.” you passed the dish to him, crossing your arms afterwards.

there was a thing about xavier that had always extremely infuriated you, ever since you were children. — he was terrible at taking proper care of himself, usually forgetting to have something to eat with him, whenever he went to his art studio. you’d always cast a spell on some of your snacks, you just bought in the city, to change it into something he liked, and then accidentally step by.

“i- i’m sorry that i made the dance miserable for you.” you leaned your back on your desk, eyebrows furrowed as you listened to him speak. “i really wanted to have fun with you, but i felt the presence of the monster there, near wednesday. it frustrated me to the point, where my mind went completely blank, ruining the dance not only for myself, but also for you.”

“and you’ve never been a pawn for me, you’ve always been present in the back of my mind, you are the factor that keep me sane, you’re the only person that brought so much happiness to my life.” he stood up from his seat, and walked towards you. his hands grabbing yours, softly, knuckles caressing it gently. “i’ve always been aware of my feelings for you, my heart has always belonged to you, and it always will, but i’m scared of losing you.”

“then why didn’t you call me, when i didn’t get back? why did you assume i was the monster? xavier, i beg you, stop trying to mess with my feelings, nothing adds up.” your tone was so quiet that the boy had to get even closer to hear it. “all i wanted was you to spend quality time with you, because you ditched me for wednesday a lot, since she got here, and i get that you can do whatever you want, so i was quiet about it, but even at the event you invited me to go with you?” seeing you so vulnerable made xavier’s heart clutch painfully in his chest. it was all, because of him, and he didn’t like a single bit of it.

“i wish everything was different, really. making you cry was the last thing i wanted to do, and you can hate me all you want, i deserve it for treating you like that.” he let out a long sigh. “but i just want you to know that it’s always been you, my head was always filled with your laughter, and memories of you.”

the closeness between you was overwhelming, taking your last senses from you, the same moment, when your best friend closed the gap, kissing you so delicately. feeling his lips on yours was infatuating, and enchanting, nonetheless, you pulled away, his forehead leaned on yours. “no, no, no. you can’t do that right now, not when i’m so angry with you. give me time, please.”

and with that, he stepped back with a simple nod, his eyes didn’t leave your face even for a second. “i’ll give you as much time as you need, i promise.” were the last words he has spoken before leaving your room.

for the next two weeks, three tops, you two barely exchanged a word, everyone around could sense the tension between, but you weren’t ready to talk to him as you still felt the pain from the dance. however, when wednesday announced that xavier was the hyde, you couldn’t believe it. none of these attacks were thorpe’s doing, and you were positive.

“i’ll curse the hell out of you, if you won’t let me see him.” you hissed at one of the cops, before he leaded you to the cell, where they kept your best friend, and seeing him in a state like that was destroying.

“yn?” shocked was painted on his face as you stepped into the room, a worried expression on yours. “it’s not me, i swear. please, someone set me up, please, you have to believe me.” his broken voice rang out in your ears as you nodded.

“hey, calm down and breathe for me, please.” you asked. “i’ll find a way to get you out of here, okay? everything’s gonna be fine, i’ll figure out whose doing it was, and you’ll be clear.” you sent him a reassuring, warm, and soo loving smile that all he could do was reciprocate it. “then, we can go out on a date, but you owe me so much wine, xavier thorpe that i don’t think you’ll be able to pay me back.”

when your time was up, you hang around the city for a while, thinking how could you get xavier out without breaking any laws that would put you there instead. grabbing a quick coffee from the weathervane, before coming back to the castle with xavier being your only thought.

you visited him thrice over the time, promising that if you don’t find the person who set him up, you’ll start breaking laws and free him within a blink.

you were surrounded by a crowd of people during the evacuation, caused by bringing joseph crackstone back to life. you were responsible for the spell that would keep everyone tranquil, and quiet in a place safe enough that the pilgrim’s actions wouldn’t reach.

and then, you noticed the boy you had feelings for, standing further away, making his way towards the crowd of people, and you couldn’t resist — you ran to him, throwing your hands around his neck, pulling him into a hug. when you backed off a few seconds later, your fingers running through his hair as you smiled so widely. “it’s you.” you chuckled lightly.

you remember everything that happened afterwards — mr. galpin handcuffing his son, the funeral the new principal threw for mrs. weens, brewing a potion for wednesday, so her scar from taking an arrow for bianca could heal faster, the end of the school year, and your date with xavier.

some would say you were reckless for not moving on from the blonde boy, some would bash you for giving him another chance, but you valued your friendship, and his presence in your life. so, it wasn’t a surprise for his housemates to see you at his door at one of the last nights of school year, dressed up in the comfiest clothes you had (which were, surprisingly, his).

you both decided that going out to a restaurant was unnecessary, and you could spend some quality time with each other in his room by eating a strawberry shortcake, drinking wine, and watching movies.

it was around first in the morning, when you finished ten things i hate about you, your head rested on his shoulder as you clung to his arm, being already a little tipsy. “i can’t believe you actually hadn’t watched my favorite movie before! julia stiles was so hot, and for what!” you giggled lightly, turning your head towards him.

“waited till i could watch it with you.” he tugged on a smile, and kissed you so sweetly that you felt like dying from the butterflies in your stomach. your fingers grabbed the collar of his shirt as he pulled you even closer, sitting you on his lips. “i love you.” xavier whispered in between the kisses, making your stomach burn on the inside.

it felt like a dream — to be kissed by a boy you pinned over so long, to have his hands on your waist, and hickies made by him on your neck, to be loved by him. even if it was a dream, the last thing you wanted was to wake up.

The ‘overprotective and overbearing parent’ trope

He’s the one who most likely got you roped into him and his sons’ obsessed grasp

convincing you with promises of a loving family and protection from anyone who would ever want to harm you.

He doesn't have any punishments for you and prefers to leave it up to the others (Marco and Ace)

He would refuse to let you leave the ship under any circumstance, and if he does allow you to leave, he makes sure you're within someone's sight

Unlike the others, he doesn't see you in a romantic light, he sees you as one of his children

He recognizes that he likes you in a different way than he feels about the rest of his sons, but he just kinda chalks it up to you being weaker and way more defenseless than the rest of them.

It's how he justifies his possessiveness over you too. You just need more attention because you can't protect yourself

He'll have your biological family killed, whether you were close to them or not

Why would you need them when you're real families right here?

He has everything he could ever want right within his grasp, and he'd gladly give you it all as well, as long as you obey them

Play along and you might even find being with them enjoyable

As intimidating as Whitebeard can be about where you go and who you're with, he’s a fairly laid-back guy

Do whatever you want whenever you want. The main thing is that you're not leaving the crew in any way.

Stay within sight of someone and you’ll be fine.

Marco

Whitebeard got you on board, but he’s who convinced you to stay

he’ll tell you that you have a sickness of some kind and he just so happens to have the cure, although, it’ll take some time to fully take effect so stay a while! Relax! He and the rest of the crew got you covered :)

I imagine him being very easy to talk too

He'll snitch on you if he catches you or you tell him about doing something out of line tho

He's ridiculously manipulative

He'll guilt trip you for literally anything

"We've given you all this and you're just going to leave? Don't you think you're being selfish, yoi?

Marco is really clingy and likes to hold you in some way.

Usually, he’ll wrap his arms around you or hold your hand.

Not afraid to chain or tie you up to keep you still

he also isn't afraid to break a bone in order to get you to stay, although it's more of a last resort for him

Very regular checkups that are definitely not meant to allude to anything sexual at all, it just always seems to happen to go there coincidentally

Works with Thatch a lot to drug your food

He honestly just loves taking care of you. It makes him so happy when he can fill some sort of caretaker role.

Ace

He's the most violent, either to you or others

He has a bit of a jealous temper when it comes to you and sometimes his emotions just get a little out of control

He'll apologize after, surely you understand why he did it.

He just wants your full, undivided attention, and why would you want to pay attention to anything that's not himself?

He’ll probably put a tattoo on you. Whether that be the crew's symbol or some other sign.

He likes that you have that permanent mark on you to show your gratitude and devotion to your new, loving family

Ace can be violent and jealous, but he’s also extremely oblivious?

Like he notices everything and nothing at all

He'd notice someone flirting with you but then wouldn't realize you're trying to leave if he found you halfway out the window with all of your stuff

It's 50/50 whether he catches onto something or not and you have to pray that he doesn't notice

You’ll have little burn marks all over you from when he’s gotten out of control. Thatch hates them and always scolds Ace for doing so. Marco doesn't mind since it lets him spend more time with you in the infirmary.

Your only scapegoat for him is his sporadic sleep habits

If you catch him while he's asleep, you can have a solid 10 minutes by yourself.

He likes throwing little parties for you on the ship, he really does want you to feel comfortable and safe with them and this is how he goes about it

It's always a lot of fun and he makes sure that he's near you so you don't feel nervous or awkward.

Thatch

the sanest?? Least self-aware??

he’s also gonna be the nicest

Unlike Marco, he will not tell Whitebeard about anything 'bad' you did

Refuses to hurt you in any way, it makes his skin crawl just thinking about him causing you pain

He'll even cook for you! Anything you want. Just tell him and he'll do his best to make it perfect :)

Sometimes he'll drug your food so he can admire your sleeping form

He loves taking care of you while you're asleep

He'll bring you a blanket as your head rests on the kitchen table then he'll sit right next to you and watch, occasionally brushing strands of hair out of your face. Sometimes he might even gently style it for you.

He follows you around like a lost dog

Wouldn’t be opposed to you putting a leash on him

He’d honestly do anything you asked of him, even if it meant killing one of the others

He's suffocatingly clingy and always just seems to be nearby. You can rarely leave his sights.

He absolutely adores the size difference between you two and will constantly hold you in his much larger arms

Every once in a while he'll ask if you want to sit in the kitchen with him while he cooks. He likes to talk to you and especially likes it when you ramble on about anything to him

It's great cause you could rant about how you hate being on the ship and would apologize, laugh it off, and not tell anyone

You'll most likely end up being closest with him due to how friendly and peaceful he is to you

Izo

Izo is very loyal and loving until you disobey one of them in some way

He gets almost emotionless when he's mad and it's terrifying if you're on the receiving end of it

He loves showing you off, especially if you're wearing things he gifted you

Those gifts always consist of jewelry he found or bought. No price is too much if it's for you after all.

He expects you to wear at least a couple of gems at any time. If you don't he gets a little upset and insecure.

"Do you not like it, my love? I can get you something better if you'd like. You can even come with me if you'd prefer."

Some of the jewelry he gives you has little trackers so that they could better find you if you ever managed to escape.

He’d buy you kimonos and stuff too

Really likes to introduce you to his Wano culture and also just loves seeing you in more traditional outfits

He's a samurai and as such, he'll act as a sort of bodyguard for you

You can be the respectable ruler and he'll be your fearless protector

Like Thatch, he also would refuse to harm you, but he has no problem getting Ace or Marco to do it for him

He has zero tolerance for others in public and if he thinks their getting too close or sees them as a threat in any way, he'll kill them right there in front of you

He'd do pretty much anything if it meant you were safe

His loyalty lies with you above anyone else and even though he'll get the others to punish you for your actions, he wouldn't punish you for speaking your thoughts on the entire situation. If anything, he's touched you trust him.

He's very strict about that code of his. He will only ever have you punished for your actions and NOT your thoughts.

By now Megumi is already beside them and sees the confusion on Tsumiki's face mirror his own.

"A what?" She asks.

“It’s a toy about this size,” Gojo starts to explain, standing up straight again as he uses his hands to gesture. “You take care of this virtual pet by pressing the buttons to give it food and affection, otherwise it'll die. Then you take it everywhere like a keychain so you can take care all the time, while it keeps making these little noises warning you to pay attention to it.”

“I’ve never heard of it” replies Tsumiki.

“That's because it's old, just like Gojo.”

"Hey!" He protests and Megumi holds back the urge to smile for being able to provoke him so easily.

Beel, Are You Srs Brah? WHB Event React Part 4 *Spoiler Warning*

We're starting off with straight up angst everyone.

So we meet our buff-ass angel from the previous part (yes the one who disguised himself as a tiny devil woman) and he's here without the scar roughin' up Dre's twin brother D:

So in short, the buff angel beats the twin brother so badly he's barely alive, and Raph finishes him off. They described this very grisly, stating that he was cut in 6 pieces. Dre sat there helplessly and watched his brother die in such a way, especially for a child to see his brother die like that. PB really brought in the traumatic events this time around. It makes me wonder if anyone else has a dark past revolving around angel trauma (I know Levi does but I haven't gotten to that part of his bath story just yet)

Dre was full of rage when he charged toward Raph, he didn't care that he was swatted by the buff angel, and was offered the same way as his brother as he waited for death. Raph for whatever reason decides to cut his eyes as injury to insult, and then even worse the sword of light that slashed Dre's neck didn't make a clean cut so I'm sure that shit hurt and he was just going to leave him there to bleed out. An interesting development though is that Dre's brother who's dead...his amputated arm grasped his hand?? This is so crazy to me because that's a powerful brotherly bond right there. Even in death.

So we're back from the flashback and Dre is happy that he ran into this angel, the same buff angel that offered up his brother to Raph like nothing, and he will make sure that his revenge is dished out the same way that he witnessed toward his brother. Raph is big trouble when Dre gets a hold of him. But he says that by going blind, he was given the ability to see clearly, and to sense his enemy, and this is a grim silver lining to his trauma is how I read it.

This is not simply a physical disability to him, but something to aid in avenging his brother and his family. He accepts this as his new life, and he's glad it's all coming together.

So our buff angel is not so big and bad now. He's literally crying and begging Dre for forgiveness and even offering a way to expose Raph's weaknesses and refers to him as a monster. I mean the man is just out here willing to throw his angel brethren under the bus just so he's spared.

And now here's where I chime in from when I mentioned I had something to say earlier?

Now I know this is a serious part of the story. But this is a huge sidebar that I thought of well after the event.

This buff fucking giant of an angel, is groveling, crying, a pathetic mess despite being way larger and taller in size and you can tell by his sprite that he is, no doubt.

And if you think back to the form, he chose a tiny smol non-threatening devil, sure there's not much to think about here he needed a sure way to disguise himself. But his behavior here, his choice of disguise....

I wanna bully this angel so badly just because it's up my alley for big buff characters to be submissive, soft, and somewhat of a bbygirl or just pathetic little things. Because it's unexpected.

Like I thought he was gonna give Dre a run for his money ya know? Put up a fight? Nope. Just sniveling and crying and obviously lying about how he thinks the devils are great and how he hates Raph (maybe he does hate Raph tho but regardless)

Now, since he took part in Dre's trauma, I'm aware it's questionable to want to slut him out, but it's like yeah Dre let me 'play' with this one for a bit before you slice and dice him. Call me disgusting or whatever but hey.

Well, after the entire scene with buff pathetic angel and Dre (no surprise he started torturing him and ripping off the remaining wing slowly and genuinely smiling as if he were in peace)

We are back with our Avisos bois <3 they had made it to the Cosplay Cafe with Stolas' help! You know with all the lights in Avisos they've been complaining about how dark it is, so I wonder if it's that kind of light where it's only helpful if you're near it or something? Or maybe it's just that bad of a night life where you gotta be careful.

So the topic starts of Stolas asking what a Cosplay Cafe is and while Nabe is trying to explain, Amon is like "Hey are the cosplayers on the menu?" Like, I don't know what it is about Amon but it's like he's horny but lazily horny? lol like I don't know how to explain it. But he also brings up that he prefers Maid Cafe's. So it's very much implied that he likes this sort of stuff, (wink Amon simps dress up as a maid and serve him well)

Nabe once again questioned Amon's intelligence since he was sort of spacing out at the moment but was really on task with Miss Dealer.

I just assume Amon is one of those ppl whose focus is always there, but unless it pertains to something revolving around Beel it's the least of his worries so low minimal effort.

Yay an Unholyc reference!!! (if you've played before this devil is cosplaying one of the three love interests named Jung Hi, it's been a minute since I played so I don't remember much about him per se but it's cute to see cameos in the game. We'll probably get more)

So our bois are in the cafe, seated and waiting to get on with gathering more clues.

And clearly Stolas is not getting the program xD Like bby why are you threatening the staff he's just doing his job?? And damn we can't tell each others name in Avisos or we get killed? Rough stuff....

So Nabe inquires if something has happened because everyone seems excited and the devil next to them mentions seeing Dre or what they think someone who looks like Dre come in and cosplay as the famous 'Angel Hunter' he was scared so he pissed himself apparently and shows everyone (lmao okay dude)

So Stolas starts cussing him out and stuff but that ofc doesn't work and he seems more excited about that...

But the topic goes on about Dre, and the rumors that are out about him such as he was cut into 6 pieces, he walked around with his head cut for three days before sewing it back on...

Stolas even brings up that hanging around someone like that is gloomy and depressing. (I mean he's super anti-social lol so he's the one to talk)

And here our bby Amon sympathizes with Dre, relating to how painful it is to fight the angels and it made me feel a pain in my chest. More angst now.

But Amon relates to him, saying that someone with that amount of rumors about him must be skilled at what he does and he understands why he hates angels so much. That someone like that will carry such sadness with him as long as there are battles with angels.

Stolas calls Dre bizzare though for wanting to taunt the angels by decorating himself with left over body parts of angels. Even more weirder that this actually works on angels in the first place.

So after speaking about Dre, the Jung Hi cosplayer comes back again and asks them if they're going to order anything and well...

there's a little spiel here that compares the devils of Tartaros to the ones in Avisos and whelp, in short they can spend it on whatever whenever, without having to worry. The devils of Avisos were frugal, painfully so to a fault. But there was also no way you could get info for free here. You always gotta buy something first.

So what I find funny is that Nabe basically asked Amon if he'd be willing to pawn off his Beel toy and he straight up was like "Nah." in the most coherent state he's been the entire time.

Everything else is half-assed, but when it comes to his Beel merch. Never. Not in his goddamned life.

That's when the Jung Hi cosplayer noticed Amon's little keychain and was like "Oh if you wanted to meet Beelzebub you should have let us know~" and then-

I'm squinting hard like now I know that ain't Beel...has to be a clone maybe, a cosplayer that's really good at their job perhaps...can't fucking be this easy that they found him at the last place.

So while all of us even the bois are still trying to see if this is the real deal Beel, he's getting them to order stuff from the menus and sitting them back down.

So while he's getting their order together, Stolas and Nabe are dumbfounded and not even sure if they can tell if who they're looking at is a cosplayer or not because of how accurate the personality is.

Btw, they mention that he speaks like he's drowsy. This means....he has that groggy sleepy raspy voice („ಡωಡ„) *drool*

Meanwhile, Amon out here crying and reminiscing his past and Beel is just like :D not even acknowledging it. (bless..Amon is so emotional like he is literally meeting the person he admires)

So we're set back before Armageddon happened, back when Angels just used to come down and fuck with the devils when they felt like it. Amon is seen here just coming of age, and his parents have died from a recent attack. Due to living in Avisos, even if he had neighbors, no one would help and he felt useless in this moment. (PB bringing the angst once again)

Beel came to him to warn him about not crying so loudly or he'd be a target (an angel was about to kill Amon too until Beel sliced it's head off) and when Beel is described here by Amon, it's almost like you can hear that angelic music or that nice music that's usually in Latin or something (I don't remember the technical term ;.;)

So Beel introduces himself because at this time Amon has no clue who he is. That's when Beel also reveals that Amon is one of the 72 devils meant to serve him!

So Amon is further confused about his new role he's never heard about and that's when some lore about the 72 is dropped on us. Only God and the 7 kings are aware by feeling who the 72 are. No one really knows who and why someone gets picked it just happens.

And that sometimes, the devil can alert their respective king during birth, other times the king may have to seek them out on their own, and in Amon's case...he needed a "trigger" so a traumatic event to make his status known to Beel.

And then there's a cute moment where Beel gives Amon a cookie and pats his head while he's eating it. And Amon is wondering why such a powerful devil, a king is being so nice and kind to him all the same breath. (because Beel is a sweetie)

Awh, so at first we have Beel being wholesome and telling Amon it's alright to cry and be himself in this moment. But then...he randomly fucking does this

Sorting Hat Chats - Nimona

@sevilemar got me to watch the wonderful new movie Nimona. I'm very excited about it, and I thought I'd try my hand at sorting the main characters, since I haven't seen that done yet. Here are the basic of the system I'm using.

Spoilers below the cut:

This is a very Snake Primary movie overall, so I'm going to start with our most obvious Snake Primaries and work from there.

The titular Nimona is a Snake primary. In her flashback, we see her seeking connection with all the different animals, but it only works when she finds Gloreth. And then Gloreth is her PERSON, they're in love, it's adorable, and then, the most heartbreaking thing that's ever happened to her, Gloreth betrays her. And thus her Snake primary burns. She doesn't connect with anyone else (we might assume) for the next thousand years, and tho she's self-confident and self-sufficient, she admits that the hatred from others makes it hard for her to value herself. Then she hears about Ballister, and she gets very excited, because here's, finally, a potential kindred spirit. She takes Ballister to be the classic burnt Snake/Bird villain archetype, wanting to take revenge on the world that rejected him, and is disappointed when that's not quite him (I'll elaborate when I get to sorting Ballister). Nimona herself is angry with the Kingdom and its rejection of her, but she seems to keep her anger to graffiti and fantasies of revolution, but Ballister, if her new person wants to overthrow the government, she's all on board and will help him however she can. Even when he's not what she expected and doesn't fully accept her yet, sticking with him and helping him is so much better than being alone, and she'll stand by him until he completely rejects and fears her.

Nimona's obstacle to the acceptance she craves is wrapped up in her secondary: She's a Lion. I read once that a shapeshifter Lion secondary would have a distinguishing trait that would be constant through all their forms, and that's obviously Nimona. Her animal forms are consistent over a thousand years, her impression of Ballister has a red streak in his hair and acts like her, and when she properly acts (a bit of a Bird model), as the Demon Baby and Ambrosius, she loses patience and lets herself through pretty quickly, terrifying the Squire and making Ambrosius' death a bit over the top. And her consistent difference from everyone around her is her struggle, she can look similar to all the animals but not so similar that they accept her. Gloreth, miraculously, accepts her human form and her shapeshifting abilities as well... until she doesn't. So she's careful, opening up to Ballister again. She's Nimona, she's defiantly herself, and not defined by any group, but she's reluctant to explain. She does enjoy lying to Ballister, but only as a momentary joke. (And maybe jabbing at his gullibility is related to her burnt tendency to trust people at face value?) She gradually reveals herself, until she's unmasked as Gloreth's monster, and Ballister leaves her.

And now she's broken, she burns entirely, I think, primary and secondary. She takes a form without any of her usual red, and she's not playing a role, she's become the monster they all think she is. And she loses her weakened sense of self-preservation entirely. She is only drawn to the statue of the woman she loved and who betrayed her.

Until Ballister stops her. "I'm sorry. I see you, Nimona. And you're not alone." Ballister knows all her secrets and still sees her true self, her Person finally accepts all of her authenticity... and she returns to herself and falls into his arms.

In light of all this, I was at first confused by her final sacrifice, but then I noticed, first she looks at the screaming crowds, and looks upset, but only after she looks back at Ballister, and sees his horror, does her face turn to resolve. She's always empathized with the people of the Kingdom, especially children (as they feel like her, similarity is a good way for Snakes to connect), but I don't think she's ever really taken them as her problem. But when Ballister fully accepts her, she fully accepts him, which includes, as Snakes tend to, adopting his values. She takes his duty to defend the people as her own. He's a hero, and she's his sidekick.

(Damn, I want to cry again.)

Ambrosius Goldenloin's Snake primary is very clear from his imagined monologue to the Director, so I'll quote it at length here: "I've lost my mind. I've lost everything. The man I love, my best friend." He just says his everything is his Person. Followed by a note of jealousy: "Although now he's got a new best friend. What's that about?" His distrust of Ballister, here and elsewhere, is distinctly framed as "What else is he hiding? Who is the real him?" because if he never knew Ballister, then their connection wasn't real, and his loyalty to him isn't owed. But he isn't sure he's wrong about Bal, and so he keeps trying to make sense of his confusion, and find out if he should still be loyal to him. And he's built Ballister into his sense of self so much that he then asks: "Who am I? A direct descendant of Gloreth? I never asked for that." This man's not a Lion primary, he doesn't find his destiny or heritage meaningful in defining himself. And finally: "Now everyone expects me to arrest Ballister. And if I don't, I'm a traitor to you. And if I do, I'm a traitor to him!" He frames his choice as a binary one between two personal loyalties: to the Director, and to Ballister. They are his People, deciding between them is the only thing that matters. Gloreth, the Institute, the ideals he was taught, they don't even register for him. And Ambrosius deciding which of the two to trust is much of his arc.

His secondary is less explicit, but I think the clearest moment of him problem-solving is trying to catch Ballister on the subway. Todd, a stereotypical Lion secondary, sees an obvious clue and immediately wants to move. But Ambrosius waits, and watches. And his first clue is "He hates freestyle jazz." His skill in this investigation, as he argued before, is that he knows Ballister the best, so he'll have the best chance of catching him. He's invested in Ballister, so he has power around him. And once Ambrosius has thoroughly watched the full clip (and asked a tech where the train is going), only then does he decide where to go. The thoroughness and humility here, coupled with his intro scene giving Ballister such care and support, make me think Ambrosius is a Badger secondary. A Lover archetype for our hero/villain's boyfriend, but a variation who's very conflicted with a whole lot of agency. I love it. (And his sorting matches mine.)

Ballister Boldheart/Blackheart is a wonderful Bird primary, with an arc of transforming his belief system over the course of the movie, who models Snake for the two important Snake primaries in his life.

He starts out with a dream, "I'm here to slay monsters and protect our kingdom." But it's never about his specialness, I think he just absorbed the cultural narrative, and so just did what seemed like the obvious right thing. (Flashbacks to my Bird primary model) By the time he graduates the Institute, they've "brainwashed [him] good", as Nimona says. The Institutional Badgery values of protecting the Kingdom from monsters has become entirely his. And the public's doubt in him gets to him, he has trouble not absorbing their input.

And when it all falls apart, he's immediately concerned with the Truth. He's innocent, this isn't right, he just needs to give the right people the right information and it'll all be fine. He's not the burnt Snake primary villain Nimona expects, his values are still pretty intact despite everyone turning on him. It takes time for them to break down. The plot challenges him one piece at a time. When he sees the video, he edits his system enough to say that "the Institute's not the problem, the Director is." He gradually accepts more and more of Nimona. When Ambrosius rejects him, he decides it's ok to embrace the villain role a bit and have fun.

He definitively turns on Nimona not because of his loyalty to her or to Ambrosius, but because of a piece of paper (so Bird pri) and a deep part of his system: "Gloreth's monster is the embodiment of evil and what the Kingdom needs protection from." Only when he sees Nimona again, understands her, and lets go of this belief can he fully accept her. His early system, "I'm here to slay monsters and protect our kingdom" is half transformed. He's no longer here to slay monsters, he's still here to protect the Kingdom - but by accepting the Monster.

I think he's also a Bird secondary. He builds his own arm in a derelict tower. He makes an innocence wall to connect the dots. He likes making plans and he's initially uncomfortable with Nimona's improvisation when things inevitably go south. There's a particular way he's supposed to do this, honestly, quietly, carefully. But then, when Ambrosius rejects him, he takes up a bit of an Actor mask of the villain role, and he and Nimona start to sync and have fun together. He trusts his training and he's better at swordplay than any of the other knights, because, as Ambrosius said, he worked harder than any of them. And he learns to plan with Nimona, using her shapeshifting as a tool to get the confession from the Director. And him leaving his sword behind, "I don't fight for her anymore", the tools he uses are an important part of his identity.

The Director is definitely an Idealist. Her values are Badgery, about protecting the community from the outgroup, but her final decision to turn the cannon on the city shows that this ideal is inflexible when it comes to protecting actual people. Since we don't see her change, it's hard to tell which Idealist primary she is, but I think she's a Lion. She tells Ambrosius!Nimona that she had a dream as a child, and simply states that Ballister's knighthood would be the first crack in the wall. She has a monologue, but it's not an explanation. And when everyone around her turns on her, she doesn't update, she doesn't change like Ballister does, her convictions are internal and she carries them to the terrible end. And I think she's a Bird secondary. Lasers are her distinctive tools, to kill the Queen, to knock down Ambrosius, and to (try to) kill Nimona. She plots and lies, easily but carefully, on her own, no improvisation and no support from others. Her monologue is just her dropping her mask and speaking her Liony conviction.

Todd (Thoddeus) Sureblade strikes me as a pretty stereotypical Double Lion. He's impulsive, ready to rush off to catch Ballister at the first clue of where he went. He's a Glory Hound, competing with Ambrosius to lead the knights. And he never questions that he's in the right and better than those around him, until the very end. We only see his sad expression, but reading into that, I think the way the final battle ended shook him, and he's done some emotional soul-searching.

And while my sortings for the antagonist characters are more tentative, I enjoy the concept that this story, that's so much about inverting classical tropes, would invert the character archetypes such that Snake and Bird primaries are the heroes and Lion primaries (with Badgery and Glory Hound values) are the villains.

(These are the 5 characters I think we know enough about to sort decently. The Queen, the Squire, and Gloreth don't get much screen time.)

To sum up:

Nimona - Snake/Lion (Bird sec model)

Ambrosius - Snake/Badger

Ballister - Double Bird (Snake pri model)

The Director - Lion/Bird

Todd (Thoddeus) Sureblade - Double Lion

Since you're in law school, here's a legal question for you about Wriggle Up on Dry Land: what's the legal process for removing a minor from their parent's custody in a situation like Jamie's? Would Ted be eligible to become his legal guardian given that he's not a British citizen and is presumably in the country on some sort of short-term work visa?

ordinarily i might just handwave this sorta thing but being as my profession and education is what it is i have done. A Lot of research about this yeah and the short answer is it’s a subplot in the fic when they realize uh oh we might have some citizenship and legality issues here and they gotta have a kind of war meeting with the responsible adults ted has sort of amassed to help him figure out wtf to DO here and some lawyers rebecca knows.

details on how that’s handled and how it plays out under the cut for length and in case anyone cares abt spoilers!

the solution is 1. roy is like fuck it what the fuck are we even talking about if we need someone with citizenship for this ill fucking take him and doesn’t even realize what he’s volunteering for until after he has volunteered for it. he does maintain he means it tho.

but that doesn’t end up being necessary because 2. what they work out with the hospital social worker and doctors and whatnot who are managing the situation when things with jamie really break bad is that he’s sixteen at that point and the law in the uk around when you can simply Leave your parents’ home (or be kicked out) is different than in several other jurisdictions (including the predominant law in the us and canada). the benchmark for that is sixteen. and so while he’d be eligible for a lot of help and programmes and whatnot it’s also possible to work out a sort of like. informal arrangement where the priority of every professional involved, whether this is technically to the letter protocol, is that given his age and circumstances he ends up in the most safe and supportive environment possible and that’s in this informal arrangement with this person they’ve determined wasn’t responsible for his injuries and who clearly cares for him very much and who he insists he wants to go with.

(there’s probably gonna be some technical inaccuracies here and fudging of how this process works and i beg the patience of uk lawyers, social workers, doctors, etc in the process but as best as i can tell the whole resolution here is like. within the realm of possibility.)

also it means that james isn’t going to be criminally prosecuted. this is a Conversation that is held between everyone involved with jamie’s wishes and what will best protect his safety taken at the highest priority. hope that’s not going to be a like. bummer to anyone, since i know hoping he sees Consequences is probably a major priority for a lot of people lmao, but suffice it to say there are some consequences for damn sure even though i didnt want to take the narrative in the direction of detailing a full criminal trial for child abuse. (bc knowing me i would’ve gone IN on it. one day im gonna write a bunch of like. legalfic for various fandoms mark my words. the same story sort of is one in a way already lmao)

*digs thru mafia fic to find something that doesn't give away spoilers* here's a lil scene that made me 💦 while writing it

“Care to explain yourself?” Levi finally broke the silence as he frowned at you. In truth, he knew why you were there and who you worked for, but he wanted to hear it from you. Although he knew that the information that Eld had dug up on you was undoubtedly true, there was a small part of him that hoped for a simpler explanation. “Explain what?” you scolded, looking directly into his silvery eyes. “I think you’re the one that needs to do the explaining. Why the hell are you chasing me around?” “Why the hell did you feel the need to run?” he retorted. You fell silent, knowing that Levi had a point. You didn’t have a good way to explain why you had to run without revealing the truth. You were trying to leave the vicinity after sneaking the toxin into Dimo’s drink. You could have simply told Levi that you had to leave, but the fact that you broke out into a sprint to get away from him meant that you were purposefully trying to get away. Levi was clouding your judgment. On any other day, you’d talk your way out of the situation, only resorting to running in life or death situations.  He scoffed upon seeing that you couldn’t come up with a good response, taking a step back before leaning forward towards you again. You shivered as you felt his lips brush up against your ear. “I know you poisoned Dimo Reeves’ drink,” he whispered into your ear and you felt your blood run cold upon realizing that he knew what you were there for all along. “Needless to say, your little assassination attempt didn’t go as planned.” You opened your mouth with your mind going at a million miles an hour to try to come up with a way to deny his accusations, although they were undoubtedly true. “You’re from [reader's organization that I don't have a name for yet], aren’t you?” he asked without giving you a chance to respond.  You were frozen in shock as you listened to Levi list off your first and last name and your position as an assassin for [reader's organization]. “Don’t ask me how I know,” he mumbled before stepping back so that he could look into your eyes directly again, “but I do.” You were much too aware of how he felt against you right now. That, plus the anxiety creeping into your body from realizing that he knew who you were all along, made it next to impossible for you to think.

spoiler alert, the next chapter opens up with him interrogating you by eating you out and not letting you finish until you confess (✿◡‿◡)

Michael Myers (RZ!)

Michael isnt into marriage as a concept because of his childhood and for the fact that hes surprised to have you as a partner because he's "pure evil, the shape of Haddonfield" its not in his plans. Legally, you cannot marry Michael because he's an escaped killer that's supposed to be institutionalized.

The closest thing you get to a marriage from Michael is the both of you living at your house as significant others.

I hope you don't mind a domesticated role in the relationship (like a house wife/ house husband even though you do work a job). Michael has been locked up for most his life, he doesn't know how to do a lot of the things we take for granted like how to cook actual food instead of eating candy.

Pregnancy with RZ! Michael would be an accident rather than planned. (I.E. unprotected sex or forgetting to take birth control for a day) His response to your pregnancy would be interesting because he has no reaction to you carrying his child until you start to show your pregnancy.

Michael becomes more primal and protective over you. He tries to keep any messes he has from his murders a minimum and would stay around you even more than before because you're fragile in his eyes.

Amount of kids he wants: Only 1, I just don't see him wanting anymore than his one kid.

Michael Myers (Original)

Like RZ! Michael, og Michael wouldn't be into marriage but his reason is because Og Michael simply hasn't thought about being married to anyone.

The closest to having a marriage like relationship with Michael would be him staying at your house and you being alive. If you're really lucky, he would stalk you while you're away from the Myers house to make sure you're safe.

You're going to have to be the one who does the cooking and cleaning. Michael's diet is not the best (with eating rats and dogs) please feed him some cooked food.

Your pregnancy wasn't planned. You expected that from the amount of times you and Michael had fucked that you would be pregnant sooner.

Michael would be on the distant side during your pregnancy at first. You could tell that he's still protecting you/ stalking you while you're out of the house. Once the news settled into his mind, you can see parts of him showing he accepts the fact that he's going to be a father. (He's the man that would have his hands on your bump while you're sleeping because of 1. His primal instinct to protect you and his kid and 2. Feeling the movements from the womb calms him down)

Amount of kids he wants: 1, Michael is a one and done kind of guy.

Thomas Hewitt

Thomas grew up with the traditional values of a southern man; get married, have a couple kids, and live a simple life. Before being with you, Thomas gave up on that hope because for one, he knows his face can scare people off- and secondly, he has his family to take care of and support.

When Thomas was ready to ask for your hand for marriage, Luda helped him set up a nice intimate purposal. The ring was either taken from a victim or Luda's wedding ring. The wedding for the two of you was small, simple wedding outside with only just his family and the both of you.

Thomas would try to be a great husband for you and help out with any chores you missed and be that emotional support when you need it. For the most part, he loves a domesticated spouse who does things for him because they love him and want him to be healthy and happy.

Your pregnancy was planned in the aspects of the both of you are married and actively trying to convince a child. He was over the moon when you told him about you being pregnant. He does have insecurities and fears that his kids are going to be scared of him or end up with his condition.

After soothing his concerns, Thomas is hands down one of the best slashers to have. He would sew maternity clothes/ baby clothes for you, always fret about you doing alot of house work (especially when you get closer to your due date), build a crib and other toys for his kid.

Amount of kids he wants: at least 3 or 4, Thomas is open to having more children if you wanted a big family.

Bo Sinclair

Bo personally doesn't see himself being into marriage because of the life he lives in Ambrose.

Bo would thrive with a "housewife" spouse (it doesn't matter your gender, he enjoys the doting house spouse aesthetic. More likely that he doesn't want you to be hurt by potential victims.)

It takes a lot for him to want to make things legally official with you. He usually uses you being his significant other in the way of "I'm happily married" or "that's my husband/ wife." If you're lucky, Bo might have a small wedding in the church with just you,him, his brothers, and some of the wax sculptures (if you're into that kinda thing).

Bo has had some thoughts about having children with you but with his childhood abuse, he has a lot of self doubts about being a father. When you announced your pregnancy to him, Bo was in shock.

It takes a bit of time for Bo to get used to the fact that he's going to be a father. He becomes more protective over you to the point where the last part of your pregnancy, he wouldn't want you out of the house because of the potential threat from the victims. He wouldn't want you and his child to get hurt.

Amount of kids he wants: 1 or 2. I don't see Bo being into having a large family.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent, similiar to Thomas wouldn't see himself being married because of his face. Although the childhood he's had wasn't as bad as Bo or Lester, he still faced a shitty childhood.

It would take alot for Vincent to open himself up to find love or to want to be married. He tends to not take care of himself while focusing on making "new wax sculptures". I can see him thriving off of someone who does simple things for him like trying to coax an obviously sleep deprived Vincent to go sleep, or make him snacks for him. It's the small things that he appreciates from his significant other.

He also does small things that shows you that you're valued as his spouse. (I.e. making you little wax figurines, picnics in the woods together, or it can be as simple as cuddling each other in your shared bed.)

Lester Sinclair

Out of the Sinclairs, I see Lester being the one who fantasize about marriage the most. Just like his older brothers, Lester doesn't see himself being married before meeting you, only fantasizing about coming home to a happy spouse looking forward to seeing him.

Being married to Lester would probably be the most normal out of the Sinclairs. You occasionally see Bo and Vincent but it's mostly just you and Lester with Jonesy.

On a normal day where he's not luring potential victims to Ambrose, he enjoys having you in his truck while he's working with roadkill. It tickles him with how someone like you actually is happily married to him.

Conversations about starting a family has been brought up throughout your marriage. The both of you wanted kids but it wasn't a pressure to have kids right away. The pregnancy would be a happy surprise for Lester. (Lester would have the most positive reaction out of his brothers)

Lester would be the kind of man who would be super excited about the process of your pregnancy. From remodeling some of the old baby furniture, all the way to making scrapbooks with as much memories/ information about each child/ pregnancy. He wants his kids to have the things that his parents never did for him. (I.e. emotionally and actually neglecting Lester during his childhood.)

Amount of kids he wants: 3 or 4, enough to have a larger family but not too many kids where his kids would feel neglected by the both of you.

Asa Emory

Asa is a highly private man, keeping every aspect of his life separated from each other. I do believe that he would see marriage as a way to throw the cops off his trail. It would be rare for him to actually want marriage after his childhood.

Being married to Asa would be most similar to being married to Jed Olsen from my last post. Cold, lonely, and overall isolating marriage. You either know about his secret and support it (or forced to keep quiet out of fear) or you're comp oblivious over what he does while you're home.

You would most likely either be a house spouse role, being the doting spouse of the mysterious entomologist professor. Or you would have your own career, making the time alone a bit easier to cope with.

I don't see Asa wanting kids for a normal, healthy reason. The pregnancy would be either a complete "accident" (i.e. him forgetting to wear a condom) or more so him getting you pregnant to keep up with his facade or to make sure to keep you around to not speak his secret.

Emotionally, he would be the worst at supporting you but he does make sure you have what you would need throughout your pregnancy and raising his kid. Eventually, Asa would attempt to be there for his kid more in a faternal role, especially if they start having interests in bugs.

Amount of kids he wants: 1, Asa is a "one and done" kind of guy.

Jesse cromeans

Because of what happened to his late wife, it takes a while for Jesse to remarry. Especially with how he isn't able to have a normal facade because of his face. Being in a relationship with you made him realize that you're his second chance with being married.

Its most certainly that you know at least something about his Chromeskull side. Whether it's knowing vague information about it or knowing just about everything about Chromeskull.

Marriage to Jesse can be lonely and scary because of how shit can hit the fan quickly in his line of work. To make up for the time Jesse spends away from you, he definitely makes it up to you once he's home (i.e. buying you expensive things, spending one on one time with you, even sex if you want it)

The pregnancy was completely planned for when both you and him were ready. It takes Jesse a long time to want to have children of his own because of him mourning the loss of his first born. He doesn't want anything like that to happen again.

During your pregnancy, Jesse would be highly alert and making sure both you and the baby is safe by giving you the best of doctors, prenatal care, all the way to making sure you're not over working yourself and eating the foods that's good for pregnancy.

Amount of kids he wants: 1 or 2. He might be alright with having a couple more kids but he would be happy with 2 kids.

Albert Wesker

Marriage with Albert is a thing that he's indifferent about if you're talking about a younger Wesker. Older! Wesker on the other hand wouldn't be concerned about marriage at all, he has better things to worry about than an insignificant thing.

Being a private man, his team would barely know anything about you. They know you're his spouse and what you looked like from the photo on his desk. They also occasionally see you around with a bag of food for him to eat during his lunch break.

Wesker would be the best worst husband ib my opinion. He wouldn't be around often because of how chaotic his career tends to be, so you'll be on your own for the most part and you can't do much given how it's dangerous for you to be out in public (both as a human surviving zombies and as the spouse of Wesker). He often times shows a more tender side to you once it's just you and him at your shared house, you helping him from not working himself to death- more so often, having him go to bed with you to ensure he gets rested. That is when he's most tender.

I don't see him desiring children at first, focusing on his career more than the basic things like starting a family. Wesker would only have a kid or two to benefit him (spreading his "superior" genetics with uroboros or to keep you from potentially leaving him) more so wanting to be a father.

He would still work during your pregnancy but when he's home with you, he tends to be quite protective over you to the point he always has someone with you when he's gone. Wesker would be the best worst father in the way of he will support the dreams of his kids but he also expects them to be perfect or close to it.

Amount of kids he wants: 2 or 3, anything passed that would be too dangerous for him and the kids.

He’s grooming you.

The fact that he’s your teacher, while the situation might be hot in your mind, would be abusing his power over you. It’s beyond creepy that he has known you since 16 and now that you’re of legal age, is making uncomfortable moves on you. He’s an authority figure and he knows better than to be talking to you that way and touching you that way. I assume he’s in his 30s or 40s and when it comes to maturity, there is a HUGE difference between 18 and 30. Even between 18 and 21, I myself am an entirely different person than I was at 18. Your frontal lobe isn’t even fully developed by 25. I know that might not feel good to hear but it’s true.

To put it blunt, your teacher is a creep. If you were 30 and doing your masters or your phd, I might feel differently. But you’re not. You’re freshly 18 and he’s your teacher.

Don’t go for this. Don’t do it. Don’t romanticize it. Don’t convince yourself that you need to sleep with an older guy just because anyone else is. Or even just because you have convinced yourself that you want to. You said yourself that it grosses you out and makes you feel objectified. That is enough for me to see you don’t actually want this. You just want some form of attention and validation that sleeping with him would bring.

Spoiler alert, it won’t. In fact, it’ll probably make you feel worse. It will make you feel even more objectified.

I slept with guys back at 18 for the sole purpose of attention. Looking back now, there are things I did that I definitely wish I hadn’t. And they weren’t even any older than me.

And sweetie… you’re still a kid. Like you said, you can’t even drink yet. There’s no way for me to look at this situation and feel that sleeping with him or pursuing him is a good idea.

Fukuchi: 😳 - No, he's not embarrassed. If anything he'll make a production of it, though usually he'd just let it go and move on. 🤧 - A bit rougher, loud, something along the lines of "hh'RSHHaa-! yehRSHH'shoo-! ah'RKSHH-!"

Tetchou: 😳 - Depends. Generally I'd wager not embarrassed per se, but doesn't want to dwell on them either. Would rather no one comment and he gets to just keep working without interruption. (can be a bit embarrassed when it's a fit though~) 🤧 - I kiinda hear it a little growly, but with a lot of his voice, and a touch desperate? Sooo, something like "eh'yiezzshhoo-! ak'tzzzshhoo-! rzshh- izshh- hh'RZSHH'dieuu-!"

Tachihara: 😳 - Yes. Absolutely, yes. He wants to be seen as strong, and unwavering, and he considering sneezing 'showing weakness' and he hates it. (not to mention his sneeze isn't exactly 'mafia/military' worthy, in his mind) 🤧 - Not tiny or girly, but rather high pitched. Not a ton of his voice though, more like a fairly normal sneeze but with a 'shhiee-!' sound he can't quite get rid of. So like, "ek'shhhiee-! ashhh'iee-! ah'kzshhh'iee-! ah'yzshhhhiee-!"

Jouno: 😳 - Outwardly, he acts like he isn't. But inwardly, he definitely gets embarrassed by it. Mostly because it leaves him so vulnerable, since he relies on smell as well as sound, and having a fit takes those away from him. But also partially because people always tease him about them. 🤧 - Why do people tease him? Because he has lil fits that sound like "ah'diew-! kshh'iew-! ak'shhhiew-! heHh- enGZSHhh'tiew-! hhyIIShh'diew-!" Generally smaller sneezes that build up into bigger ones, but no matter what, that 'iew-!" sound is always at the end. (though, unlike Tachihara, he doesn't attempt to change it.)

Kai’s name was thought of from the way Coyote’s name was pronounced. The two sound very similar.

His full name is Kai Odie.

Kai was born on the 15th of the 5th. Idk what year tho.

Also some of my ocs timeline and Kai’s timeline aren’t the same,, there’s other timelines out there but they all still have zombies in them.

The timeline takes place before it died took place around the 1990s-2011.

Kai has also somewhat improved as a person,, he’s pretty chill nowadays…I guess. I mean,, less mean that’s for sure.

He beefs with ppl/things a lot tho,, it’s literally ez to get Kai to hate u,, u could be a Taylor Swift fan and he’d hate u for that. 😭

Kai is basically pretty friendly tho,, sure. He murdered a bunch of zombies and possibly people but that was out of self defence. He wouldn’t murder anyone on purpose, unless it’s Midnight Shadow or it’s someone that wants to harm him.

Kai wore glasses when he was a kid due to poor eye sight (not being able to see from distances) until he was a teen,, which he just started wearing contacts (even tho it’s semi dangerous to wear those) …this did somewhat give him the reputation of him being the “smart nerdy” guy but he later proved them wrong.

Kai’s also deaf as well,, he wears a hearing aid although it’s unnoticeable. He got this from putting his headphones on max volume and plus other people playing loud audio/screaming into his ear when he was a kid. O and he knows how to read lips as well and he knows sign language. (He didnt get the hearing aid until he was 17,, his parents thought he was deaf because of the fact he had a hard time hearing them directly unless they yelled sooo yea) Kai also just turned off his hearing aid whenever he didn’t want to hear sum however with the zombie apocalypse he kept that on 24/7 cause he didn’t want to risk not hearing sum and dying from it.

Kai also wears earrings, he used to wear black earrings but now he wears cherry earrings, the only reason why he’s wearing cherry earrings of all things is because of Coyote.

Kai actually also has a tattoo on his back where it’s just Coyote’s name in a rlly rlly fancy goth font. Forgot the name but yea. No one knows about it except for Coyote. They actually got the tattoo together and have matching tattoos.

Kai has average strength, sometimes it works out in his favour, sometimes it does not. Mainly depends on who he’s fighting though.

when Kais Mom first saw that Kai dyed his hair gave himself whatever that pink and blue thingy is called that covers his other eye she tried cutting it off however Kai just kept on refusing to do so, which ended up with him getting grounded and Kai’s Mom kept on trying to convince him to get rid of but no matter what she said he just kept it. Which,, made her rlly mad and her hatred for Kai only grew more and more the more she looked at him. Kai’s Dad however just didn’t care and eventually convinced Kai’s Mom to just let him do whatever he wants since he thought that if he was happy then he’d get better grades (very weird logic god damn) and so she did. But she still secretly hated him. (Kai’s Dad was also old and just simply did not give a fuck about what happened anymore. The Mom was also old but she had more care then the dad did.)

But however there was a deal,, Kai can keep the eye cover thingy if he only put it in a feminine ponytail or pigtail/kept the hair rlly long and he agreed. This deal was made by Kai’s Mom and she did it behind the Dads back.

O yea speaking of that,, during the apocalypse in his timeline, while he was asleep he was attacked by a zombie and he got half of his face infected. He was able to cure it tho. Gud thing it was where the eye cover thingy was so it’s ez to hide.

ok so the only thing that’s different here is that instead of Coyote being the traitor it’s Kai.

The deal in question (and betrayal) basically went like this:

Shadow:

“I’ll get u out of here if u help me make deep night strong and stuff.”

Kai:

“ok 👍”

(Literally after he meets Coyote and the others and night 3)

Kai:

“I change my mind I hate u I hope u die.”

Now,, Kai didn’t intend or plan to explode the place on purpose. He wanted to keep the cabin in shape however with the way Midnight Shadow planned it all out he had no choice, he had to explode the place with what he had on him to try to kill Midnight Shadow.

When Murch found out that Kai betrayed him he basically just started hating on Kai and being a big meanie to him and Coyote had to go and defend him every time but that only just made Murch hate the both of them. Except,, not only is it hatred from the betrayal. It’s jealousy.

He secretly wants Coyote, but with Kai being there for Coyote more then he himself is. He grew jealous of him.

the stolen heir thoughts

so apparently people are not liking this book. which icl is a little bit WILD to me because i thought it was brilliant.

but here are my thoughts on why that *might* (emphasis on MIGHT don't come at me if you have some ✨quirky✨ reason for why you didn't like it i literally don't care) be the case.

there will be some spoilers ahead, i will try to limit them, but you guys are pretty unpredictable anyway, just don't say i didn't warn you.

most people reading this duology have come straight from tfota (and if you're not wtf are you doing here, go sit your ass down and read tcp, you demon) and if that's the case, there is a high likelihood you are a reader who idolises jude and cardan and puts them on a pedestal (AS THEY DESERVE ABSOLUTE BEAUTIFUL ICONS.) and you know, although we were warned by holly that this first book would be in suren's perspective, it's not so comfortable to not only be so tantalisingly close to them and not see them (we want our babies back), but to see them, to see this world, to see other characters, too (like oak), through a completely different lens.

i've heard people saying it's flat for that, and i get we're returning to a world, it might feel like holly is just doing some recycling but icl i kinda really love the book for that, and it also seems like a really holly thing to do.

i mean sure, i could have maybe lived without madoc's return, but i also think that it really works.

back to the point tho, for suren, this is a very different world, her relationship with it is different, and the people in it, though familiar to us, are not to her, and i think the main thing to take away from this is to remember that not one of these characters are clear cut heroes or villains. they're people.

jude, to suren, is just a cold, harsh, strategic mortal queen — funnily enough, suren probably didn't get to read tfota, so hasn't experienced jude the way that we have, and the same for other characters that we are familiar with.

i mean think about it, when we read tfota and suren was described as 'creepy' and all that, did we bat an eyelid? no, we accepted it, mainly because we were seeing suren the way that jude and her family were, as a monster girl, whose parents wanted her to marry oak, and we didn't want that. we see it politically, also. when we see this through suren's eyes, all of a sudden, it's heartbreaking, and ofc it is, because she was a child, and she was being manipulated and used, she wasn't saved, she wasn't treated with any sort of love, from anyone.

but jude couldn't give her that love. for so many reasons. but still, that makes her seem like less of a hero (again, not that she was one to begin with.)

and if they're not the heroes anymore, if our way of seeing things suddenly becomes blurrier and less defined, where does that leave them? we feel like everything becomes less stable, because in most books, we're used to the protagonist telling us how we should feel.

so it feels like the possibility of things going south for our favourite characters is all too real, and no one likes that. i hate the idea of jude and cardan not getting their perfect happy ending, whatever that looks like... but i'm not too sure that i want it to look any different to how we expected it: them being in love, high king and queen forever and ever and having lots of children, until they get too old and tired and decide to retire together.

of course, the plot itself also destabilises the chances of this, but i won't go into that in detail here just in case someone with a taste for chaos has decided to read this far (!! i said begone, demon !!)

but here's the thing, like i said, in holly's books, the characters are first and foremost people. jude makes mistakes, does so many horrible things, and tbf in the reading community, we have a bit of a nasty habit of glorifying that, and just saying slay, she's a badass (which she IS, but also guys... murder... bad...?), especially when it's the main character (see the way people still villainize taryn... but that's a whole other discussion.) and what does that mean? it means independence. yes there's mention of fate in the books, but there is independence and true character growth.

now here's the thing. we have a whole other book to come. i doubt that holly is going to leave suren where she is (unless she does which could also be so cool and open up a whole new universe of opportunity for the direction in which elfhame goes and whilst this might be completely evil, i could so get behind that. ANYWAY) why is holly writing suren? what are suren's fears? what is suren's motivation rn? if we examine all of these things, we see that wren is still grappling with all of these things, and that the position she is in right now isn't going to help her or satisfy her.

suren's whole life has been dictated by the greed and megalomania of the people around her. she is suffering because of that exact greed and megalomania. power will not heal her, not like this, at least.

and finally, coming to oak. holly has already played the 'i-don't-want-to-be-king-but-ends-up-being-one-and-a-really-good-one-because-i-didn't-want-to-be-one-in-the-first-place' card with cardan. i don't personally think she's planning on playing it again with oak. i think it's a really clever way of suggesting at it, and reminding us, and showing us what we're used to, but i think oak is being honest. ofc, i also HOPE he is being honest.

there is also the next book's title to think about (the prisoner's throne) but in all honesty, i don't think speculating on that will be worthwhile. holly really could throw anything at us.

i have a couple of other thoughts, about jude and cardan and what might be going on there, but those thoughts don't really sit right with me and aren't really constructive to the happy endings lol so i don't like them and will not be sharing bc i do not have to !! 🥰

all in all, if you didn't like it because of what it suggests for our favourite high king and queen... anything could happen. i trust holly to write a book that truly devastates us all. but i hope that i've also shown you that what she has written is not unjustified. i'm not going to conclude with a what i think will happen, even though i have very strongly suggested it because i don't want to jinx anything... if i'm wrong, i'm wrong, and i'll happily be wrong, though i know my happiness isn't guaranteed...

Good Omens spoilers-ish??? idk not big spoilers don't worry, i'm just theorizing about Crowley's name but best be careful uknow

Alright listen, I've seen lots of headcanons about Crowley being *insert an angel's name here like idk Raphael* (I'm sorry I don't know names and stuff, my family is pretty atheist/not christian and I have no idea about all that happens in The Bible,,,) and I consider them very interesting and I enjoy hearing about why people think Crowley is that specific angel. But consider this: does Crowley have to be some angel named in The Bible? What if Crowley is just... Crowley?

It's a demon name i suppose, since he was Crawly at first, and Crawly sounds like the snake form because it "crawls" and stuff. And then he changed his name to Crowley since he likes that better. You know this stuff. But somehow i have a feeling that he's not anyone named in The Bible, if you know what i mean.

Sure, he did create nebulae and was obviously a high-ranking angel, but what if The Bible doesn't mention Crowley? What if Crowley was a high-ranking angel but wasn't mentioned? Maybe it was because he questioned God too much and so he was just... left out? They already had Lucifer questioning stuff, if I understand correctly, and wouldn't it be suspicious if there were more high-ranking angels disagreeing? Maybe he was forgotten, maybe Heaven just didn't want to mention him for whatever reason. There are lots of reasons for excluding Crowley, I'm sure.

Also in a way I feel like for understanding Crowley, knowing his name before his fall has very little significance because I think he is so strongly his own person now. He's Crowley, and he's on his own side. And that, I think, is more important to him than his past as an angel or demon.

These are just my thoughts tho, and might not make sense, I'm just Thinking About Fictional Characters as I do very often haha:D Anyway hope someone had fun reading my rambling lol

Saw a vid about supersons and Minecraft and it was so stupid and wrong what in the world makes you think Damian would be killing everything even in peaceful mode like wtf. Anyways here are some TRUE SUPERSONS MINECRAFT FACTS NOT CLICKBAIT 100% REAL (plus Colin bc he’s my son now)

-They argue about what mode they should be in: Damian argued for hard mode bc they’re built like that and jon agreed but he just wanted to fight smh. Colin was the only with common sense bc he knows they’ve never played Minecraft before and starting in hard mode would not only be difficult but boring if they won. They go normal

- Jon is the miner, Colin gathers the food, Damian builds the house

-Damian gets lost because he refuses to pull up coordinates and his memory SHOULD help him but he is so entirely laser focused on collecting materials that by the time he’s done he doesn’t even remember what biome he just came from 💀

- Damian goes above and beyond for the house ok; he will only mine for that, and Jon hates it bc Damian finds veins of like 8 diamonds and will only take enough for his pickaxe and axe. He will NOT share bc he needs a backup

-Jon spends DAYS in cave systems and he’s actually much better at finding mineshafts than anybody should be. He finds dungeons and dies immediately bc he turns the player around to inform Colin and Damian as if they’re all physically there

-Colin thinks it’s fair to keep inventory or go creative to get special loot back, Jon thinks it’s not. Damian didn’t care until he realized turning creative or cheats on means no achievements. The option is never considered again.

-Colin kills the sheep for the beds and a few chickens then immediately begins to set up the most intricate and complicated farm you’ve ever seen. Yes he’s a redstone guy. Understands it deeply in a way Damian and Jon are too scared to ask about. They always mine any redstone they see for him.

-Colin likes Diamond the most, Damian Iron, and Jon Gold (Damian tells him he’s stupid bc it provides 0 protection and Jon is like “but I look so good tho” and Colin calls him tacky

- Love villages and villagers and trading all of them

-Damian tames an iron golem. Nobody knows how and an investigation should be launched bc that’s not a game mechanic but whenever anyone asks Damian shrugs and the other two say “it could sense his gentle nature :3”

-They never actually defeat the Ender Dragon whenever it gets too close to that they find an excuse to create a new world and start all over bc they don’t rlly wanna finish it (they say they’re saving that achievement for a special occasion)

-Jon is Steve, Damian is Alex, Colin has a new skin everyweek.

-They find servers based off of cities and will pretend to be the cities heroes 😭

-Got kicked out of the Gotham server for calling their portrayal of spoiler inaccurate and refusing to change their skins (they were the birds of prey)

-Damián is currently building a whole BludHaven since there wasn’t one available. Hes going to leave it open where Dick can see so he doesn’t have to do something gross and mushy like go up and tell him about it

-Damian’s aim is TRASH in game and he can’t survive a single night. Not bc he can’t figure it out he just wants to have fun man he does not care about these mobs; if the house is already built and he’s just sprucing up the farm he will get killed over and over he doesn’t care

-try to go to bed at night but Jon is in the caves and forgot his bed, Colin died and lost all his shit before setting spawn so he has to find them now, and Damian doesn’t really feel like it bc Patricia (the chicken) is far more Interesting than a bed right now.

-Damian’s favorite mob is the spider and his least favorite is the creeper. Colin’s least favorite is the Zombie and his favorite is the Skeleton. Jon says his favorite is the creeper but it’s actually the Enderman, his least fave is the skeleton bc they ALWAYS kill him since he refuses to make a shield.

-Colin turned too fast and thought Jon outta the corner of his eye was herobrine. They abandoned that server immediately.

-Colin’s inventory is always overflowing bc he always thinks he might need literally anything he’s ever seen. Damian WOULD be the same way but he just has an entire chest room where he hoards everything. Jon does not care he will throw away a diamond pickaxe if the endurance bar is less than half bc it ruins the aesthetic. Never has what he needs when he needs it.

-none of them like going underwater but Damian and the only one who likes the desert is Jon. The only one who will go into the nether first is Colin (as in the other two will only go after Colin has torches, pathways, any signs of life in there. Matter of fact most of the time they refuse to go unless Colin’s found a fortress and made it easily accessible). They line up anything they need to get from these areas so they’re all branched off at the same time.

-Colin has an actual diary in game that he updates as if it’s real. Damian has one in Colins chest just in case someone else enters the server.

-Jon has 50 dogs and calls the cats too difficult and annoying to tame. Damian kills him. Colin has like 20 cats and is always begging Damian to get him more fish. Damian actually only has a few select animals as he prefers to let them roam around the yards he builds (catered to their home environments ofc.) noticeable ones include: Richard the Golem, Duke the bumblebee, Patricia the chicken and her mate Penelope, Joshua the horse, and Cassandra the parrot. (He has so many parrots guys it’s insane)

-none of them have the actual game sounds on they hate the music and it gives them all headaches. (Not projecting at all) They all listen to Lofi while playing or some shit. They have never gone a session without getting killed by a creeper at least twice.

-they tried to play hunger games once and they just got bored. Now bedwars and speedrun? That’s their shit. DO NOT play against them in hide and seek bruh they get together and start revolutions to kill the seekers they’re so annoying 😭 they’ve gotten banned so many times but they ask Barbara, and then Vic when she gets tired of it, to unban them.

That’s kinda it idk

Family bonus:

-They have one server where they don’t do much for friends and family to play. Nobody else is really all that interested in Minecraft but they see the kids playing and wanna fuck with em so 😕

-Jason’s a flower collector, he gets privileges bc he knows exactly which flowers Damian wants in front of the house and acts accordingly. Cass is this way when It comes to woods and Duke when it comes to carpets and paintings.

-Damian wants to let Dick play but he’s wary bc dick has been killed by Duke the bee so many times and his final straw was when Dick hit Richard the golem on accident and killed it instead of letting it kill him. He’s banned. Richard II was then tamed.

-Tim isnt banned but he doesn’t play bc he saw Colins redstone minecart rollercoaster thing when he was first starting and offered suggestions until Colin got fed up and chewed him out so bad he quit.

-Duke adds something new to the mansion (built by Damian and Steph who apparently has an eye for decor) everytime he goes and it always fits in seamlessly. He is the only sibling allowed on one of Damian’s servers that’s not the family one. He cherishes this. Dick could have the privilege but Damian still hasn’t forgiven him for Richard I.

-Cass doesn’t play often but when she does she LOOOOVES enchanting. She will do it for hours and get the best ones for their main armor and weapons and then really specific convoluted shit for fun. Her goal is to have one sword/chestplate/etc. for each enchantment available on item frames in the manor.

-Steph doesn’t fuck with Minecraft but she goes in to dye the sheep and change the names of everything. Damian bans her. She bribed Babs to let her back in. Damian names a cat after Barbara and snitches when Steph changes the name. Steph mentions that the cat wasn’t taken care of and was used for this purpose. They are at a standstill.

-Kon likes to blow everything up and he banned himself after he made Jon cry. He only goes into the server to fight mobs and give loot as a peace offering. Damian has forgiven him, Colin hasn’t.

- Clark and Bruce go in once and speedrun the entire game, defeat the ender dragon get every achievement etc. worst mistake bc the server is now creative friendly. There is nothing friendly about it.

-Every single person will get on Colin’s roller coaster and go “weeee!” The entire way. He’s flattered.

-The death count on that server is astronomical. Almost all of them are accidents.
