So, like Ruby's bio mom is definitely going to make an appearance again in the future, and I can't help but think about how the Goblins work with coincidences and can somehow track and sense them.
I also can't stop thinking about Mrs.Flood and I do kind of like the theory of her being Susan, the doctors granddaughter. I'm not sold on this because I think most fans would have wanted Carole Ann Ford to come back if she could and was interested to, but of course then it couldn't be kept secret who she is so maybe Susan regenerated and is living as Mrs. Flood.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then I don't really know why, but I got this thought while watching this part of the trailer for the rest of the season that Ruby could be Jenny's daughter...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And two of the Doctors granddaughters living next door to each other? Now, what is a bigger coincidence than that? Or maybe not a coincidence at all

Ok the best explanation for the whole complicated timeless child bullshit is that it was all a part of the time war.
Like maybe the daleks tried to pull a ‘genesis of the time lords’ so the division was created to ensure that time lord history took it’s ’correct course’ (maybe bar a few alterations such as preventing the death of rassilon) and that meant sending a time lord capable of regeneration back into the past to ensure the time lords greatest biological defense system was developed and thus allowed for the rise of their civilization and discovery of the time vortex.
So maybe they picked the war doctor because the time lords canonically love using the doctor as a pawn so they forced a regeneration and memory wipe like they did with 2 and sent him back in time to be the timeless child with modern day gallifrey being what was on the other end of that mysterious portal. Eventually through either living all the way through gallifrey’s history until the original point they were sent back (potentially becoming the other along the way) or time travel they returned to the division at the same point as they originally left in the form of Jo Martin’s Doctor. Then the division continued to use them as they saw fit until they believed the doctor was no longer needed and so forced another regeneration and wiped their memory. The war doctor we saw in day of the doctor may in fact be an ‘echo doctor’ of the younger version in night of the doctor, like fourteen or the curator, and then his timeline picks up as we know it.
Personally I think this is the best possible outcome of this whole storyline even if it is convoluted (tho a time war kinda should be convoluted) and until explicitly disproven, this is my headcanon.

Do you guys subscribe to the theory that (at least, starting in NuWho) the Doctor can, somewhat, subconsciously control his regenerations?
Like, of course, 8 wanted to be a warrior, so he became the War Doctor (I know that he drank a potion for that, but that might’ve just been lemonade according to the Target Novelization).
War wanted to be the hero, to earn the title, the Doctor, again, so he became 9.
9 wanted to be someone who was the perfect partner to Rose (human), so he became 10.
10, in his vanity, wanted his final regeneration to be young, so he became 11.
11, after all the heartache, wanted to be more distant (and also what they said in series 8), so he became 12.
12 wanted a kind, fresh start, so he became 13.
13 wanted to open up to someone, so she became 14.
14 wanted time to heal, so he split off 15.
This is not an original theory, and I'm not even saying that I buy into it fully it, but it's interesting. It would be interesting if the Doctor had a tiny bit of control over their regeneration (Romana did, somehow) and most of the time his wants either backfire or only half work.
What do you think?

Who picked up the tooth the Master is trapped in at the end of The Giggle?
Tumblr media
Well, the nails seem to match Kate’s, but this could be a red herring. Here are my theories:
Part 1: Kate Stewart
1. (The boring theory, imo.) Kate is the one picking up the tooth. She is somehow compelled to do this through hypnosis/mental suggestion/psychic influence. Due to this, she works for the Master.
2. Kate picks up the tooth because there’s…literally a random golden tooth lying on the ground where the Toymaker was. Seems like something UNIT should keep an eye on. It’s locked up in a vault somewhere (the Black Archives?). The tooth then either does some weird sci-fi thing on its own or it’s stolen. This might be a cold open for an episode in the coming season.
3. Kate picks up the tooth. UNIT frees the Master from it and captures him. Either they try to use the Master’s help for something and it backfires on them (like with the Naismiths) or they try to vivisect the Master or something equally morally dubious. This puts UNIT into an ideological fight with the Doctor and the Doctor and the Master temporarily work together until the Master hijacks the plans and fails. This would be the most fun option! For me, at least.
Part 2: Not Kate Stewart
4. The hand picking up the tooth does not belong to Kate Stewart. It is in fact some sort of servant of the Master. Maybe a cult member, maybe someone sent through a bootstrap paradox, maybe a future villain who wants to add some insanity to their plans.
5. The hand picking it up is someone completely clueless to this whole situation, like a UNIT soldier or a janitor. The tooth slowly exerts an influence over them, and they start destroying UNIT from the inside.
6. It’s the Rani. ‘nuff said.
Of course, there are other theories and maybe I’ll post some more later, but these are my favorite theories right now.

Here’s the thing: We know prolonged exposure to the time vortex can cause someone to become a “time lord” in that they develop the ability to regenerate. We also know that Clara and Me travel for an unknown amount of time in a TARDIS. And we know Clara’s death is a fixed point in time. Since time doesn’t unravel, we know that she at some point after her travels, she returns to face the raven and accepts her death. Because the Doctor is transported immediately following Clara’s death, we never actually see the aftermath of her death.
This leaves the possibility that when she dies by the raven, she actually regenerates!
Anyway I feel like there’s potential for fanfic, some Big Finish exploration, or even bringing a whole new actress in to play Clara in some distant future series.

Was watching the Doctor Who special with my dad (longtime Who fan), and my mom (only vaguely aware of Who) walked in halfway thru and asked “is that the Doctor?” I’m like “yeah, he’s the new Doctor,” and she said “no, is the baby [lulubelle] the Doctor?”
I told her, “honestly, that’s not the worst fan theory I’ve heard”

Hello. SPOILERS ahead for Doctor Who Christmas special.
Why did the doctor not approach the person who left Ruby at the church. They could have. Before I get into that I have to say something else I noticed. When the Doctor first exited the TARDIS the person was only a few yards away. Then the Doctor goes to rescue Ruby which probably took roughly 5 minutes and when back at the TARDIS the person is still about the same distance away. I could be wrong because of camera angles but I think the person stopped to watch the fight between the doctor and the goblins. It was big and loud. This feeds into one of my theories. Just had to point it out.
I see a lot of people talking about Ruby being related to the Doctor in some way and I am here for that. She does look like Jenny and like Clara and has so many similarities to Rose. She could also be related to River but I don’t really see that. With the previous statement about the distance thing, it could be something like that. I know Rose is in a different dimension so what if Ruby was dropped off to keep her safe from danger in that dimension. It also to be noted that she would have been dropped off before Rose and the Doctor met. The Jenny thing works better here. The lack of results of the DNA test could mean that the Doctor erased Rose from the record or with River or Jenny they don’t really exist on paper at that time. Davina could also be lying. M(r)s Flood is also an option. She definitely knows more than she let on.
The storyline about Ruby could also be to mirror the Doctor’s and about having no record of where they are from.
Onto the Doctor. I have a few theories to explain the Doctor’s actions. First it must be said that the doctor does have a Time Machine and could have gone and found out. There was time.
Didn’t think about finding out. Just wants to make sure Ruby was alright. The Doctor does hesitate but gets in the TARDIS anyway.
Didn’t want to change the future. What would change by approaching the person.
Didn’t know if Ruby would want that. The Doctor has been following Ruby, but not at the moments about Ruby finding her heritage. Ruby hasn’t communicated that to the Doctor so it could be not wanting to invade privacy. The Doctor also doesn’t to cross a boundary.
The Doctor already knows who it is.
The Doctor just found out about being adopted. And about the not good mother figure and doesn’t know if they are good.
Found Family. The Doctor has (or had) a lot of chosen family. Ruby has an amazing family already.
These are just theories. Inspired by others posts and my analysis of the situation. Let me know if I missed something.
Happy Doctor Who Special Day💜💙📦

*Spoilers for the 3rd Special of Doctor Who*
RTD explaining how the bigeneration could apply to all of the Doctors. It’s a fascinating if somewhat daunting idea, but it does at least explain the ongoing issue of bringing old doctors back and having to suspend your disbelief as to why they look so much older.
The implications are endless, but what I want to know is does it also apply to Ten? Are there now 2 extra Davids on Earth plus and extra human one on parallel Earth? How many Davids are too many Davids? 😂

So, Mrs Flood definitely knows something about the Doctor's origins...I'm getting some serious MOM vibes from her but at the same time I feel as if the Doctor wouldn't have parents in the traditional sense- not in the form of a person at any rate.

I just re-watched Day of the Doctor and it got me thinking, Doctors after 11 definitely go back to the gallery for tea with the Curator, right?
Theres no way in hell Ncuti's Doctor doesn't pop in at some point to have a laugh about 'revisiting old favourites' or 12 doesn't pop in to complain about artwork when he's bored

Season 6 onwards should have Ladybug-lite episodes.
The term is inspired from how Doctor Who would have modern seasons where an episode would be written to keep the titular Doctor or their companion out of an episode in order to help with filming two episodes at a time. Often due to tight turnarounds at the time.
Though done to save time, the episodes worked wonders because it would take either protagonist out of their comfort zones and show them operate with the others. This resulted is some memorable episodes like “Blink” and “Turn Left.”
Though in Ladybug’s case, we see that each bearer from before is now permanent on the whole. They can act on their own accord if an Akuma attacks before them or if something going wrong in their neighborhood. As such, Ladybug might appeal to say bye bye to the butterfly, it doesn’t got to center around Marinette or Adrien strictly speaking.
I feel this would be a perfect evolution of the show to keep more fresh and be an evolution of the Queen Mayor arc where Ladybug saw that even she and Chat can only do so much. While I like that the secondary cast keeps consistent than so give it credit for, I feel like letting them take center stage would be appropriate this time around.

He is metacrisis doctor, human-timelord, without the ability to regenerate, yeah?
Tumblr media
And he grew from this hand and Donna, yeah?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And in this hand was stored the regeneration energy? The energy 10 used to save his life and regenerate without regenerating? (So more like heal but using one life-cycle?)
Tumblr media
So that energy was also used to create this little fucked up guy?
Tumblr media
What if 10 used all potential regeneration energy 10.2 could have gotten, to become 10cont? (Very conveniently for Rose, may i add?)
So ALL spare energy stored in the hand was used, just a bit like River did to save 11? Just after she tried to kill him? Healing with regen energy? Hm?
Sorry, not really sure how this all should work, but i like this little headcanon, if you can call it a headcanon Don't know where i'm going with all this or maybe i just don't remember shit 'bout anything
