You're right, yes, a woman married to a woman is in fact a lesbian or, bisexual, but, the woman in question literally identifies as cishet, as in, she still calls herself straight despite the fact that shes literally married to a woman.

My problem with this is that the woman in question isn't actually "queer" she's cishet and I'm assuming that they were together before transition and before the trans woman came out, but this is just an assumption.

She is a cisgender heterosexual woman married to a transgender woman, and she, a heterosexual cisgender woman, is calling herself queer because she thinks she part of the community, she isn't, her wife is.

My husband and I are in a "gay marriage" even though he's cishet and I'm trans and bi, I'm part of the community, but he isn't.

Cishet people are literally coming into the LGBT community and claiming a spot that doesn't belong to them, calling them selves a slur that is being "reclaimed" by us, the LGBT community.

I should have explained better, but I was frustrated and just kind of vented real quick without an explanation.
