Thoughts on the old men in Engage?

I'll be honest, i haven't been keeping up with any Engage news. so the only one whose name i know is Vander, and then there's the other guy who looks like an awakening npc. with Vander, i really appreciate the sight of him in crop tops or swimsuits or fancy dining suits. there's something...odd to me, about his portrait. a lack of visible haggardness perhaps. i'm intrigued, but also, he's mid forties so i get this. dissonance. and maybe that's what's happening with the vibe. my feelings on him are exceptionally mixed.

the other guy is cute, but i'm not into bowl cuts so i don't see myself thirsting over him. i like that someone so ordinary-looking is an option though!

Both? Like Faerghus is merely Northern Adrestia or???

Jeralt's name uses the "tria nomina" pattern which was banned/fell from usage in Adrestia, until Loog did his thing.

Given how Jerry is 300 (he was born around 800?) and has "three" names, he most likely comes from an early Kingdom of Faerghus - that ditched the Adrestian "Von" particle and returned to the old Fodlan tradition of having three names.

Also, and more grounded than mere conjecture on names, Rhea says he was part of a mercenary band in the kingdom, as I can't see Adrestian accepting to "lend" her help or mercenaries a 50 years after the birth of the Kingdom!

TL; Dr : Jerry's ugly, so he cannot be a DILF, and we all know the true DILFs from this game come from Adrestia ; i.e. Jerry comes from Faerghus.

(Fodlan AU : instead of remaining a loyal knight because that's Jerry we're talking about, Major Seiros crested Jerry returns to Faerghus, gets a bunch of kids and hell breaks loose when the Faerghian King of that time taunts the Adrestian Emperor of that time saying they have a Seiros crested peep in Faerghus, so Adrestian Emperors are nothing special)
