#Repost from @therosienutritionist with @regram.app ... How have you enjoyed sitting with yourself lately? 😩The pandemic has been a lot. And here in Toronto, we are going into lockdown again. This pandemic has forced many of us to sit with ourselves and deal with things that we've been escaping. This pandemic has also shown how the healthcare system has failed BIPOC, the blatant racism in our societies, and how we need to revolutionize how money and resources are distributed. During this time, I've been doing a lot more research on trauma, and looking at how our experiences from childhood really shape who we are and what we do. Things like poverty, food insecurity, precarious housing, violence, neglect, and other forms of adverse experiences are making me think about my role as a health professional. As a dietitian, I take pride in making connections and using intersectionality to understand health behaviours. I am not perfect and have a lot to learn, but I strive to apply an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and intersectional lens in my work. It takes continued work; that I will be doing all of my career and life. How would you feel if your health provider saw all of you; past and present? MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics - An Introduction To The Unique Program
MSc clinical nutrition and dietetics is a Postgraduate Nutrition and Dietetics program. Clinical nutrition is involved with therapeutic uses for nutrients, generally in medical settings as part of a complete health care program. Clinical nutritionists create effective nutrient plans that work towards health effects which includes disease prevention and treatment, strengthening of the immune system, and nourishment of those unable to care for themselves.

Eligibility for MSc clinical nutrition and dietetics
Students ought to be completed in Bachelor of Science in Home Science and subjects associated with Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Service Management and Dietetics. In authorised institutes, there's an entrance exam for admission to their Master of Science Degree courses.
Program Objectives
To impart understanding and expand capacities of the scholars through state-of-the-art higher schooling in the region of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Nutrition Management.

Practice state-of-the-art nutrition care in collaboration with different health-care providers in interdisciplinary settings in the bounds of ethical, legal, and professional practice standards.
Skills Required for MSc nutrition and dietetics
Course:
They need to have proper conversation skills to speak with people personally and in groups and proper writing skills for maintaining reports, leaflets, etc. are essential. Candidates need to have patience and true concern for fellow beings. They need to additionally have planning and administrative skills and organisational ability. Dieticians are required to be healthy and fit and able to work as team members.
How is the M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition Course Beneficial?
Beneficial to offer a complete professional education that specialises in nutrition and its application in prevention and disease management that prepares graduates to practice in a wide variety of clinical, consulting, and industry settings. Also useful for further studies like M.Phil. and Ph.D.

I have a big day of studying and cleaning ahead of me, so to prepare for it I made this delicious omelet with leftover salmon. I also filled up 4 big water bottles and made some green tea because hydration is key 😜. This omelet was so good and having salmon with breakfast made me feel fancy even though I just threw some leftovers together. Now I’m off to get shit done!
