Uhh i got one idea! You are good friends with Taeyong and you got into really bad fight (like reader doing something with other guy and Taeyong gets jealous) and then Boom Taeyong confesses. Sorry if these sounds messy but i’m just a sucker for angst with fluff ending :P

Taeyong, Y/N and their best friends Doyoung and Hyunjin were all getting ready to head out to a party. There was a party down at the dorms Hyunjin and Doyoung’s classmates stayed. They were all at y/n’s house getting ready...well more like she was getting ready.

Doyoung: y/n hurry up lets go! you always take forever!

Y/N: yeah yeah I’m coming! sheesh yall are so impatient!

y/n came out in something simple but yet cute enough to feel comfortable. y/n was wearing jean shorts with an oversized t-shirt tucked into the front, white white sneakers and her hair with brushed out curls.

Hyunjin: wow..

y/n: what are you gawking at?

Hyunjin: I’m not gonna lie you look hot!

Just after Hyunjin complimented y/n he felt a pillow hit him in the back of the head from across the room. Turning to see only Taeyong standing there with a glare in his eyes. Hyunjin and Doyoung knew Taeyong was madly in love with y/n and hated anytime any other guy would talk to her. He hated even when Hyunjin and Doyoung spoke to her even though they are all best friends.

Doyoung: finally sheesh lets get out of here! who’s driving?

y/n: ugh I guess I’ll drive because you all always end up drinking and I’m always stuck being the DD so I might as well volunteer now instead of later where I’m forced to drive.

As they all got into y/n car. Hyunjin sat in the front while Doyoung and Taeyong sat in the back. A conversation was going on in the back while there was an argument going on in the front. All Doyoung and Taeyong can hear is y/n and Hyunjin arguing on what song to play.

y/n: hey the driver gets to pick the music you punk ass!

Hyunjin: NO! It’s common sense that the passenger gets to pick the music! HELLO YOU’RE DRIVING!!

y/n: UGH YOU’RE SO ANNOYING WHY AM I FRIENDS WITH YOU?!

Hyunjin: because I’m perfect!

y/n just rolled her eyes and admitted defeat with him. Meanwhile in the back over the constant bickering of y/n and Hyunjin. Doyoung whispers to Taeyong..

DY: are you ok Tae? you seemed out of it today.

T: yeah I’m fine he says while glancing over at y/n.

DY: when are you going to tell y/n how you feel about her?

T: never...

DY: so you’re just never gonna say anything?

T: i just don’t know how to tell her or when I should tell her....every time I try to I end up chickening out or I get interrupted by someone.

DY: well tonight is perfect..tell her at the party.

y/n noticed the chitter chatter in the back.

y/n: what the hell are you boys talking about back there?

D: nothing...just keep driving.

y/n: well excuse me for trying to be involved with yall.

They finally arrived at the party where they all headed inside. As they went in the party was already filled with so many people drinking, drunk people and dancing all over the place. y/n saw one of her classmates Jihyo drunk off her mind.

Jihyo: y/n! you made it! oh my god and you brought the 3 musketeers with you! hahaha!

HJ: .....hey Jihyo....where’s Johnny? Johnny was her boyfriend that always lost Jihyo when she drank.

J: he’s around here somewhere! yall don’t mind if I take y/n would you?! ok bye!!!

Once again y/n was ripped away from Taeyong who wanted a chance to sit and talk with her face to face. Everyone was having a great time, y/n dancing the night away with her friends as Taeyong watched from afar.

J: hey y/n! come have a drink with me!!!

y/n: no Jihyo. I’m the DD tonight...again.

J: ugh those damn guys never let you have your fun! come I want you to meet Johnny’s friends!

Taeyong watched as Jihyo dragged y/n across the room reaching to her bf Johnny and his friends.

J: hi babe!

as she tiptoed to her boyfriend to give him a peck on the cheek.

Johnny:....jihyo you are drunk again...

J: ...and? then you can just have your way with me again....

y/n: ....oh geez...hey johnny.

Johnny: hey y/n...oh this is my friend Jaehyun, he’s here visiting from Seoul.

y/n: hi I’m y/n.

Jae: nice to meet you.

They all were in the same spot talking stories and laughing. Taeyong across the room started to get irritated how y/n was smiling and having fun with another guy. She came with Taeyong, Doyoung and Hyunjin but is talking with someone else. It made him upset where he needed a drink.

DY: hey Tae what’s up? something happ---

Before Doyoung could finish his sentence he watched Taeyong gulp down 3 shots of tequila as if it was water to him.

DY: YAH YAH TAE SLOW DOWN!!! What’s gotten into you?!

T: she thinks she can just flirt with some guy in front of me like that?!

Doyoung confused and looking at the direction Taeyong was glaring at.

DY: y/n and Jaehyun?

T: you know him too?!

DY: yeah we went to school together for a little bit in Seoul until I moved back here.

Moments later goes another shot down Taeyong’s throat.

DY: dude you need to slow down...you’re gonna blackout.

T: what does it matter anyway if I blackout or not....it’s not like y/n will care.

Hyunjin came and walked over to see what was going on with Doyoung and Taeyong.

HJ: what’s wrong with him.

Doyoung nodding in the direction y/n was standing.

HJ:....o--...oooh. oh shit...this can’t be good.

T: I’ma do something now!

HJ: DUDE NO! YOU’RE DRUNK....SOBER UP BEFORE YOU TALK TO HER! OR YOU’LL REGRET EVERYTHING!

As Hyunjin and Doyoung held him back and pushing Taeyong back into a chair. The impact made the alcohol take in effect real quick and Taeyong became dizzy.

T: i think I need to throw up!

He gets up and sprints into the bathroom. Running passed y/n.

Johnny: that looked like Taeyong...is he ok?

y/n in her own conversation with Jaehyun and heard Taeyong’s name being mentioned.

y/n: HUH?! what?!

Johnny: yeah he just ran that way...

pointing in the direction Taeyong ran. y/n ran over to Doyoung and Hyunjin.

y/n: what happened to Taeyong?! is he ok?!

HJ: woah easy tiger...

y/n: where did he go?!

DY: he ran to the bathroom.

y/n: IS HE OK?! WHY AREN’T YOU HELPING HIM?!

HJ: he just had a little too much relax.

y/n: UGH THIS IS WHY I HATE LETTING YOU GUYS DRINK!

y/n got so mad and ran off to find Taeyong. Running up and down the hall of the dorm looking for him and finally came to a room where he heard gagging noises. y/n whispers to herself “please let that be him and he’s ok” she peaked inside to see Taeyong with his head in the toilet letting everything he just drank come back up. She ran right to him and kneeling down next to him not even realizing she may have kneeled in some of the vomit he did when he missed the toilet. (lol sorry guys)

y/n: Tae are you ok?! oh my god!

she quickly grabs paper towel and texts Hyunjin to bring her water. Taeyong notices her presence and where she was kneeling.

T: y/n-- you’re kneeling in a bad spot right now.

y/n: never mind it’s fine. lets get you cleaned up and take you home.

T: no...lets stay and have fun.

y/n: you’re too drunk right now Tae.

Hyunjin came with a bottled water for her to give to Taeyong.

y/n: Hyunjin call Doyoung lets take him home. He’s gonna end up getting poisoned if he keeps drinking.

HY: yeah you’re right plus me and Doyoung gotta work in the morning anyway.

He called Doyoung to help pick up Taeyong and bring him back to y/n’s car. They put him in the front seat where she can keep an eye on him. y/n laid him back a little bit so he can relax. Then reaches over to put a seat belt on him. Taeyong can smell her sweet perfume he had gotten her for her birthday recently, it smelled so perfect on her. Helping him sober a little bit. He can see the worried look on y/n’s face each time she glanced at him to see if he was ok. She end up dropping off Hyunjin and Doyoung off first.

DY: are you sure you’re gonna be ok taking him home? his roommate isn’t home this week and you’ll have to lug him up the stairs...

y/n: no I’ll just take him back to my house I’ll be fine.

HJ: ok please text us so we know you made it home.

y/n nodded and drove off. Moments later they arrive at her place. Walking over to Taeyong’s side and unbuckles his seatbelt. As she did what she could to lift him up. Grunting a little bit.

y/n: ...ok Tae I know you’re drunk right now but you’re gonna have to help me just a little bit. Lift yourself up to stand and you can rest your arm around my shoulder ok?

T:....o-ok.

He slowly gets up swinging his arm around y/n shoulder and she wraps both of her arms around his waist. Doing this gave him goosebumps up and down his spine feeling what it was like to be held by her. Step by step they got to the elevator of her apt building. Waiting as the elevator went up to the 6th floor where she lived.

y/n: ok Tae we are almost there hang on.

They got to her door as she reached for her keys while still holding Taeyong up with the other hand. She finally got the door opened looking around trying to figure out where to set him down. y/n decided her bed would be the best bet because the couch was going to be way too uncomfortable for him. Making their way to her room he can feel himself sober up little by little. He was strong enough to walk by himself.

T: I’m fine to walk by myself now.

y/n: are you sure? I’ll just hold you just in case.

T: ....but--I’m

y/n: not I don’t want you to fall and hurt yourself. stop being so stubborn.

She helped him sit on the side of her bed. She texted Hyunjin and Doyoung letting them know they got to her place safely. After setting down her phone y/n started to walk away after helping him sit down. He grabbed her wrist.

y/n: don’t worry Tae I’ll be right back. I’m just getting you water.

He lets go of her hand. Taeyong sitting on her bed thinking, is this the time to tell her? Maybe not because he was drunk and he didn’t want to say things he’ll regret. But it was driving him crazy he didn’t know what to do. A few mins later y/n comes back with a bowl of cold water and some aspirin for him to take. She hands it to him and down the aspirin goes. y/n sets the cup of water on the end table and grabbing a towel that was near her bed.

y/n: here lay down.

T: I’m fine really. The water is hel--

y/n: ARGH! Will you just listen to me and lay down.

He admitted defeat and slowly laid down on her bed. Which gave him butterflies in the stomach because it was the bed she sleeps on every night by herself. Wishing that someday he can sleep next to her keeping her warm. He watched her as y/n soaked the towel in the bowl of water and ringing out the extra water making it only damp. She turns to him and starts dabbing it on his forehead and down the side of his face.

y/n: why did you drink so much? you’re not iron man dummy.

Taeyong just smiled.

T: I was mad...so it just happened.

y/n: why were you mad?

T: I don’t want to talk about it...

y/n: you know you can tell me anything. but if you don’t want to talk about it I won’t force you...

She continued to dip the towel in the water and dabbed him with it. He could feel that he had gotten a lot sober than he was before. y/n noticed the water wasn’t cold anymore so she got up.

y/n: I’m going to go change the water and make you some soup. I’m sure that’ll help sobering you up. You can just sleep here tonight and I can sleep on the couch.

T: why this is your bed. you should sleep in it, I can just sleep on the couch.

y/n: why are you always so stubborn. you’re gonna get a headache if you don’t sleep comfortably. I’ll be right back you just rest.

She got up and he once again grabbed her wrist.

y/n: what’s wrong? you need to go to the bathroom?

T: no...

Taeyong sat up against the headboard of the bed. He took a deep breath in and out before he spoke.

T: I need to tell you something.

y/n: you ok?

T: It’s something I’ve been wanting to say for such a long time.

y/n: ...ok what’s up.

He took one more deep breath in and out.

T: I really like you y/n...

y/n sat there in shock at the words that was just thrown at her.

y/n: you’re drunk you’re not thinking straight.

T: no I’m not. Well I’m not completely sober, but I well aware to the fact I meant what I said. Y/n I like you...no I’m in love with you. Always have been since the first day I met you...

y/n:...why are you only telling me this now?

He just sat there staring at his lap fiddling with his fingers and not making eye contact with y/n.

T: I’ve been wanting to tell you for quite sometime now, but I could never do it. Every time I tried to I either chickened out or someone interrupted.

y/n: is that why you were so mad today?

T: no...my jealousy came over me and I couldn’t take it, that’s when I drank whatever was in front of me.

y/n: why were you jealous?

T: I hated seeing you talk to that guy...

y/n: what guy? Jaehyun?

T: yeah...I hate it when you talk to any guy really.

It became quiet for a few mins...then y/n let out a soft giggle.

T: what’s so funny?

y/n: you’re such a dummy.

T: huh?

Taeyong lifted his head to face y/n...y/n looked at him with a smile as she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. Taeyong sat there frozen at his seat at what y/n just did. He thought to himself “did she just kiss me?!”

T: what was that for?

y/n then got shy and looked at her lap before she said....

y/n:...I like you too dork...no now I lied I love you.

Taeyong couldn’t believe his ears, the girl he’s loved for so long loves him back.

T: you do?!

y/n:...I think I may have liked you longer than you think...

T: what do you mean.

y/n: remember when I was sitting by myself in the cafeteria because I was the new girl and you along with Hyunjin and Doyoung came and sat with me because you guys didn’t want me to feel lonely on my first day?

T: yeah....

y/n: that actually wasn’t the first time we met..

He began to become confused.

T: really?

y/n: the first time we met is when you came into the coffee shop I worked at and you were drenched because of the rain. but you didn’t care you because you told me it was because you caught your gf at the time cheating on you with her ex. when I brought you something warm to drink you just sat there watching the rain fall.

y/n then looked down at her lap again as she continued.

y/n: I know it was a bad time to but that’s when I started to like you. Seeing you sad like that made my heart hurt, and I just wanted to hug you. But after that day I never saw you again. It wasn’t until you came and sat on my table. I fell harder for you because you were right in front of me, this time with a smile that always made my heart feel war--

Before y/n could finish her sentence Taeyong’s lips met hers. y/n could feel the butterflies in her stomach go crazy....she got to finally do what she’s been wanting to do since the first day she’s met him.

T: When I saw you talking to Jaehyun and laughing I thought Iost you forever...

y/n: you wouldn’t have to worry about him at all....he has a girlfriend. and even if he didn’t my heart already belonged to someone else.

Taeyong leaned in again to give a soft kiss on her lips.

T: I love you so much y/n.

y/n: I love you too Tae.

He then scooted over on her bed and pulled her into his arms. Throwing the blanket over both of them. Her head resting on his chest and his arms wrapped around her. The heartbeat of his made y/n smile as hers beat at the same pace as his. She looked up at him and smiled as he kissed her on the forehead and one last time on her lips.

y/n: lets get some sleep you party animal.

A soft giggle came out of him as he squeezed her tighter. and said “I love you” once last time as they drifted off to sleep.

i wrote a ‘pieces of you’ fic that wasn’t prompted???? amazing.

sooo this is the final piece in the whole jo/ex husband bit. you can find part one here and part two here. i’m working through some of the prompts in my inbox while taking a *short* break from hesitate to unfry my brain lol. anyways enjoy!

“Hi I’m looking for Brooke Stadler. Is this her?” “Ha ha very funny Alex,” the voice on the other line made Alex pause, his body freezing as he heard Jo speaking to him. “I don’t know how you found that name but-”

“Jo,” Alex’s voice was cold and professional. “I have your husband in the ICU. I swear to god I’m not messing with you. It’s… you’re still his emergency contact. I need you to come down here.”

Jo looked from her phone to the ground in front of her, eyes watering as she took in what Alex was saying. Her breath hitched, hand coming up to cover her mouth as a strangled sob left her.

“I- oh god,” Jo cried out, her legs weakening as she collapsed onto the couch behind her. “Oh god.”

+ Despite finding out she was pregnant two weeks ago, Jo hadn’t told any of her coworkers her big news besides April who had been with her when she had taken the test. She wasn’t quite ready to tell her friends yet, but she knew that Jo Wilson, infamous party girl, turning down an invitation for drinks would be suspicious. And so, she found herself at a trendy downtown bar on a Friday night celebrating the end of the school year.

“I can be DD tonight, April has me on baby watch 24/7,” Jo had told Maggie when she asked, hoping that her excuse would tide over anyone who asked. “You know how pushy she can be.” Maggie seemed perfectly oblivious to Jo’s white lie, something Jo was grateful for as she sipped on her shirley temple. She was happy to be celebrating with her coworkers, but something about the club made her uneasy. Jo offered to grab more drinks for everyone, getting up and heading to the bar.

“Can I get two vodka sodas, one rum and coke, three lemon drops, and a shirley temple,” Jo batted her eyelashes at the bar tender, wishing she was anywhere else. She wanted to be at home with Alex, cuddling up on their couch and talking about the weird cases he had seen that day. However, he was working overnight which was the reason Jo had originally said yes to Maggie.

“You can put that on my tab,” Jo’s blood ran cold as she heard the voice behind her. “Nice to see you again, Brooke.”

The club seemed to fall silent around Jo as she turned and met the eyes of Paul Stadler. She swallowed the urge to vomit, to punch him, to scream, to do anything. Jo felt frozen in place as she stared blankly at her ex husband.

“Miss, I have your drinks ready.” Snapping out of her daze, Jo finally turned and grabbed the tray of drinks wordlessly. She walked as fast as she could through the crowded club to where Maggie was waiting for her.

“I, uh, I have to go,” Jo set the drinks down and grabbed her purse, looking to her left and noticing Paul still watching her. “Alex needs help with… stuff. At home. Not here. I’ll see you soon!”

Jo rushed out of the club, clutching her chest in fear as she called the one person she knew would be able to help her right now. She couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think, but she also knew that she couldn’t stay here.

“April? I need help.”

Thirty minutes later Jo finds herself rushing into the ER at Grey Sloan Memorial. Her mind couldn’t stop replaying her run in with Paul almost three months ago. She thought she had moved past it, thought that being home with Alex would calm her. It hadn’t. As soon as Alex had called, Jo felt sick to her stomach with fear.

She’s frantic clearly, one hand moving to her sizable baby bump as she tries to quell the nausea rising up. She can’t tell if it’s morning sickness or nerves, but she feels like she’s going to lose everything in her system.

“Hi I’m um,” Jo swallows thickly, moving her hand to cover her rapidly beating heart. “My… husband, Paul Stadler. He’s in the ICU.”

The nurse behind the desk gives her a pitying look, eyes scanning from Jo’s face to her stomach. The look doesn’t help Jo’s nerves, knowing that the woman probably thinks she’s worried about her husband, assuming he’s the father of her child.

“Room 1282, one floor up,” the nurse reaches a hand out to touch Jo’s shoulder. “It’ll all be okay sweetie.”

Jo really wants to lose it then, her feet on auto pilot as she rides the elevator upstairs. Her mind is reeling with possibilities, Alex having given her no details over the phone. But the ICU was not a great place for anyone to be, even if they were an abusive piece of crap.

The elevator dinged, Jo walking off and following the signage on the walls towards Paul’s room. She turned the last corner, her body calming when she saw Alex waiting for her. She hurried her pace as much as she could, Alex bringing her to his chest as soon as she was close enough to him. Just the feeling of him so close calmed her almost immediately.

“Paul was in a bad car accident, hit and run. He’s on life support, if I take him off then…,” Alex looked down at Jo, her eyes downcast as she stayed close to him. “His injuries are too extensive, he’s not going to recover, Jo.”

“There’s nothing else you can do?”

“No, nothing else,” Alex looked from Jo up to Paul. “We could… we could donate his organs. He seems pretty healthy but it’s up to you babe, but that’s about it.”

Jo looked up then, not at Alex but behind him towards the hospital room that the man who had almost killed her was in. She had dreamed about this day, prayed and hoped that one day no one else would have to feel the fear she did. Now that the day had come though, Jo felt the need to give Paul the decency she had never received.

“I never had a choice with Paul, he made all the decisions for me and for us. I…,” Jo’s hand moved down to her stomach. “This is my third pregnancy. He’s ruined my life for the last time, I’m not going to let him loom over me anymore. Donate his organs, every piece of him that you can. He needs to accomplish some good in this world.”

Jo stared into the room one more time before turning away and looking at Alex with a renewed sense of purpose. Alex nodded to her, kissing Jo’s forehead as he glanced at Paul. As a doctor, it was his job to provide the best care that he could. But as a boyfriend, as the father of Jo’s unborn child, Alex wanted nothing more than to watch Paul suffer.

“Whatever you want babe, whatever you want.”

Rating: This is so cheesy, oh my god. I had to stop myself from writing a few times because I kept smiling and giggling to myself. Yes, I’m a dork. Don’t judge me.

Requested: I’m pretty sure someone wanted this but I can’t find it anywhere. It’s probably somewhere in my messages but I’ll give credit once I find it.

TW: food mention. brief insecurity is mentioned if you really look at it. Nia from HV is mentioned but like, since this is the last part, she’s not really important in this story just so you know.

A/N: Happy 4th day of the new year! I’m back! Yaaay! :DD But guess what? I totally had the original ending down and just as I was going to post it, my brother’s laptop died on me and I never saved the file yet and I just :-) *mentally screaming* so please excuse the abrupt, shitty ending. I’ll do better in the next one, yadda yadda yadda. This is a short read compared to the other two but I hope you enjoy this nonetheless :DD

“Don’t. You. Dare.” I enunciated as he gave me a challenging look while raising his eyebrows playfully. “I swear to god, don’t you dare. If you actually do it, I’m never hanging out with you ever again.”

“Is that an empty threat I hear? Because come on Y/N, I know you like the back of my hand. I’m irresistible and you can’t stay from this no matter how hard you try.” Watching him move his hands over his body with a smirk plastered on his face, I rolled my eyes in feigned annoyance as he winks in my direction.

“Wow hot shit! What a big head you have! I wonder how you fit through doors since it’s that big!”

“Are you insulting me? That’s it. I’m doing it.”

“You wou-” As he licks the last homemade chocolate chip cookie, claiming it as his, I gasped in horror. “YOU NUTCRACKER. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU ACTUALLY DID IT!”

“That’s right! I dared myself and did the unspeakable! Now it’s mine!”

“You’re getting it now!” Watching him run away from me, I chased after him as he looks back in shock, still keeping up his pace.

“How the hell can you still run in heels?!”

“I don’t play around when it comes to cookies!” Jumping on his back and wrapping myself around him, he spins around in circles as I held on tightly. I did not expect this. “Ashton, oh my god! I’m getting dizzy!” Feeling him stop and stumble a little, he places a hand on the wall and laughs.

“What’s going on here?” Glancing behind me, I see Michael on his phone, recording, who was laughing at our silliness.

“Let it be noted that I take my cookies very seriously.” I smiled, jumping off of Ashton and going over to hug Michael. “I missed you Mikey.”

“I missed you too. When and how did you get here?” Pulling away from him, I walked over to Ashton, who in the time I was greeting Michael, ate the damn cookie. Giving him a pout, he grinned at me as I put an arm around him.

“Around twenty minutes ago. This guy here, saw me when I was out vacationing with the family in the city and somehow, had convinced me to see everyone here before rehearsals started. I was going to surprise you guys later on tonight but looks like it’s happening way earlier than expected!”

“I’m glad you’re here! It’s refreshing to see you in person after eight months of seeing ten seconds of you in every video chat. That Calum boy sure doesn’t know the meaning of sharing when it comes to you. Bring it in for another hug you squirt.” Hugging him once again, Ashton called out for a hug sandwich as I was literally, being squished between these two boys. I didn’t mind though, they made me feel right at home.

“Alright guys, a girl has got to breathe.” I chuckled, finally feeling the cold air instead of their armpits. “So where is Calum anyway? And Luke?” Before both of them could respond, we could all hear the mic feedback coming from the stage. Hearing Calum’s voice picking up on the microphone made me beam in delight as I decided to sprint towards where they were. Arriving near the side stage, I scanned all over the area for him when Luke saw me first.

“Y/n? Is that- Y/N!” Running towards him, I enveloped him in a hug as he laughed and returned the gesture. “When did you get here?”

“Details Hemmings, details. I’m 100% positive Ashton and Michael will tell you.” Spotting Calum staring at me as a girl was talking to him, he gave me the cutest smile ever as I withdrew myself from Luke’s arms. “I’ll talk to you later but now, I gotta greet my boyfriend.” Before he could complain about anything, Calum approached us as he lifted me up in air, placing a kiss on my forehead as he put me back down gently.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know when it’s my cue to leave.” Luke grumbled jokingly, walking away to give us a moment. Embracing Calum in another hug, he pulled away to look at me, his hands finding place on my waist.

“I missed you. Wh-” Placing a finger on his lips, he places a quick kiss on it as I giggled at his loving affections.

“If you ask me when I got here, I will leave.” I quipped as he shook his head in amusement.

“Wasn’t going to say that. What I was going to say is why didn’t you let me know ahead of time? I would’ve planned something if you did!”

“I was surprised to see you this early as well Mr. Hood. So, Michael tells me you didn’t like sharing some screen time with the boys every time you video chatted me.” Noticing his flushed cheeks and him glancing past me out of embarrassment, I gently cupped his face with my hands and made him look at me. “Hey now mister. I’m not complaining, I find it adorable.” Hearing him scoff, his lips were placed on my left hand before he looked down.

“S’not my fault I missed you and wanted alone time instead of having them talk your ear off the entire time.” He mumbled as I laughed, moving my hands to place it on his shoulders. “It’s not funny.”

“It kinda is.” Before he could protest, I got on my tippy toes to place a chaste kiss on his lips to shut him up. Pulling back, he was about to speak when I interrupted him again. And again. And again. And maybe one more time because he was starting to laugh.

“Stop! I’m trying to defend myself!” He exclaimed as I gasped, placing my right hand on my chest in feigned shock.

“From my kisses? Wow, okay. I guess I’ll take my mouth elsewhere and let someone else appreciate them instead.” I joked, stepping away from his arms. I didn’t walk two steps away from him before he grabbed my right arm and made me look at him. Seeing his lower lip stick out in a pout, I giggled and rolled my eyes. “I was kidding babe. Oh, by the way. Mailene says-” Observing the way he was looking at me, my breath got caught in my throat as I gulped. His eyes were twinkling mischievously and his lips curved slightly upwards, almost like he was mocking me that goosebumps started forming on my skin.

“Cal-” As he leaned in closer, his forehead connecting with mines, I smelled a hint of smoke and peppermint escaping his lips as they parted in anticipation. With him moving closer and closer, he was a centimeter apart when someone coughed behind him, ruining the moment. As he closed his eyes and groaned, I was focusing past him to see the same girl he was talking to earlier. Calum then turned to face her while pulling me into his arms and wrapping his arms around me.

“It’s not nice leaving a girl alone to make out with someone.” She cracked humorously. She stood tall and confident and somehow, I felt small. It didn’t help that she had a nice smile.

“Sorry about that Nia. I just hadn’t seen my girl in months.” Hearing him call me his girl in front of other people made me blush as I hid my face on his chest shyly. I never really knew how he talked about me to others and I guess hearing him say that made me feel all giddy inside. “Anyway, I’d like you to meet Y/N, my girlfriend. Nia, this is is Y/N. Y/N, this is Nia from Hey Violet.” Extending my hand for a simple handshake, I also offered a smile as she did the same in return, albeit, holding my hand a bit tighter to let me know it’s okay.

“Ah, the famous Y/N. Calum loves to talk about you a lot, we all wished he had an off button.” She laughed, shaking her head in amusement.

“Stop trying to embarrass me in front of her. Michael already did that.” He replied as I felt the vibrations from his chest due to him chuckling.

“Well alright then. I’m going to go and talk to the others so you know where to find me if you need anything. It was nice meeting you Y/N!” Watching her walk away, Calum squeezed my shoulders reassuringly before turning me around to face him.

“You know her and I are just friends right?”

“What makes-”

“I could feel you tensing up and backing up into me when she came. I just wanted you to know that.” I sighed and looked up at him.

“It’s normal to feel slightly jealous even if I already have you right?” I questioned as Calum kissed my forehead.

“It’s totally normal, believe me. I should know.”

“Right, we are all about trust.” Shaking my head of any negative thoughts, I beamed at him as he took one of my hands and lead me backstage.

“Since you’re here now, we have to make up for lost time!”

“What do you have in mind?” Seeing him glance back at me with a boyish smile and the ‘excitement’ sparkle in his eyes, it only meant one thing. As he pulled us into his dressing room, I couldn’t help but laugh. “You want to know about my new dog don’t you?”

“Who wouldn’t? I saw the outfit of her wearing the rocker clothes you got her and I’m dying to see the pictures and videos!”

“Only you Calum, only you would take your girlfriend backstage to not make out but talk about her cute puppy instead.” Giving me his puppy dog look, I stuck my tongue out at him as he sat on the couch. “So anyway, I also have pictures of Coffee wearing a coffee cup! Get it? Because her-”

“Of course babe but can you show me the little cutie now?”

okay, today was WILD. Idk how much energy I have to write it all out but there’s a lot of it. I’d set my alarm for 8 because I wanted to bug ticketmaster ASAP about getting the stupid code, and I honestly don’t even remember how that situation ended because we just ended up using the code they’d told us was the “generic” code. Friend arrived and we ate the brunch food I’d ordered while waiting for things to happen. at 9 am our time the NY tickets went on sale since that was their 10 am so we could see how the process went and it was pretty simple, it wanted the code but wasn’t didn’t require an email address or anything for it to be pre-sale, so we were just put in the queue and got in after a few minutes. so we had least had a better idea of what we were doing at that point. so we made sure we were in the waiting room for Chi and mostly just waited, lol. We had my laptop, friend’s laptop, and the crappy chromebook I have, I didn’t think it would let me run more than one account at a time because last time they’d only let you do one on the same phone number, but apparently that wasn’t an issue this time. so we get into the queue and I think it was my chromebook that got the best place in line and we were in in about 30 seconds after it went live. there were two seats in pit left when we opened it, but I knew before we could get to them someone else would take them, and they disappeared like 2 seconds later, so that was frustrating to know even when I knew we couldn’t get them. so we ended up four rows back from the pit, row DD where the pit was AAA-DDD and then our section was AA down to us at DD. so they were still very good seats and we were pleased with that. then of course we checked the NY seats just to, you know, see, and neither friend nor I have any impulse control, and they had very few very good seats left, and I was too goddamn tempted so now we have NY tickets too lol. so with that we declared victory and moved onto the next part of the day, which was a trip to Target. we went to the one pretty close to us that friend usually goes to but I don’t because there really isn’t any viable public transportation routes to get there. so we went around and grabbed different things, like cat food and some random food items. when we were almost done, I got a message on my phone and then realized HOOOOOOOOHHH BOY, I FUCKED UP. basically I was supposed to be in court this morning but I was an idiot and never added it to the calendar or spreadsheet, so I didn’t know it was today. and I mean, I knew it was a fixable situation because this has happened to pretty much everyone at some point, plus like, we don’t like get in trouble at work?? like it’s just not a thing lol so I wasn’t that concerned. so I looked at some stuff on my phone while we checked out of Target and then headed to the Taco Bell we’d been wanting for like, over a week now haha, they no longer had the chalupa box option I had been getting but they had their new “grilled cheese burrito” with a box so I got that instead. it was pretty good, though I have no idea how it was supposed to be related to grilled cheese because it was pretty much just a cheesy burrito. Once we ate our food in the car, we tried to go to a bank and get quarters, but the line was like super long so we decided it wasn’t worth it, so after that friend dropped me at home. while I was trying to walk up to the stairs to my apartment with my bags I had like a really bad tremor in my legs like the ones that have been happening lately and I fell forward onto the stairs, I didn’t get hurt or anything but it was really scary, and once I got up I almost fell like 3 more times so I’m like jesus fuck. then I remembered when I was talking to my new primary care doctor she had told me to look out for this potential side effect from one of the meds I’m on, and I hadn’t put it together up to this point because that side effect was more described as like, twitching instead of tremors, but the ones that have been very bad and only started recently are definitely somewhat closer to that. so I called my doctors office thinking she had just said that I should just stop taking the med and I’d be fine, and just wanted to confirm that. they took my info and she would get back to me as soon as she can. so I then spent the next like 4 hours trying to get any information about the court case that went up today because we can’t put any effort into fixing it when we don’t actually know what the situation was. I called like, everybody I could think of and like got sent in so many loops because apparently everyone is so fucking incompetent!! and like when I thought I got to the people who would actually know the answers their phones either went to voicemail or would just ring endlessly before dropping the call, and I called over and over again and left two voicemails. the main issue I think was that the courtroom coordinator for the courtroom it was up in was not there that day, but they said they would get me to talk with the clerk of the courtroom, but that never happened. so like, I’m fairly irritated with all of this. somewhere in the mix of all this I received the call back from my doctor, and oh hey she hadn’t said just stop the medication if the side effect appears, she said go to the ER to make sure it’s not a more serious side effect that could start like this and could be like, irreversible if not treated, and she was like very firm about me needing to go. and I’m really frustrated about it because I really don’t want to do that and I knew that it was very likely it would turn out to be nothing, but after some debating and seeing just how bad things were today I decided to go, once I finished work haha because she did say it wasn’t like an /urgent/ urgent matter because I’m clearly sitting there being fine. so I finished it all up and then packed a bag with some of my meds and some snacks, then ubered to the ER. it would’ve been nice to have someone with me so I didn’t have to go by myself, but because of everything they’re still doing the policy where they’re only allowing patients in, not anybody else with them, even when the covid cases were being dealt with an entirely different section of the med complex, but hey you know how things are right now. so I got there and checked in, they took some vitals and then not long afterwards took me to a room to wait for nurse and/or doctor. so I waited, wasn’t too long, maybe about 25 minutes but like I had my phone so I didn’t care lol. once they got in there they like evaluated the tremors and did some bloodwork, and ultimately concluded it at least was very unlikely it was the serious side effect, and that if I stop the medication that should help things significantly. this whole thing is the fault of my dickhead old psychiatrist who put me on this med to begin with. he only put me on it for sleep purposes which is an off label use for it when it’s actually like, an antipsychotic med which I obviously didn’t need because I’m pretty stable at this point. at first it worked for sleep, but then kind of stopped really working, so I was already planning on changing it when I have my psychiatrist appointment next week, so I guess now I’ll just be stopping a bit earlier. they said to take benadryl for both it’s sleep-inducing effects and that it can actually be a way to treat tremors too, so that would be good. I got discharged not long after, I walked a bit away from the ER entrance before getting an uber because I didn’t want to totally freak the driving out picking me up from the ER. but that ended up fine and this driver was like going all out for that 5 star rating haha offering my a phone cable, to turn on the AC or not and what to have on the radio haha and he was nice and funny to talk to in our fairly short ride home, so that was good at least. when I got home I did some stuff only my computer for a bit, I don’t remember what at this point, but eventually I turned on The Goldbergs while doing computer stuff and then after a bit watched some kpop videos that I hadn’t seen yet so I was glad to see those. and yeah, shortly after finishing up with them I showered and started getting ready for bed and now I’m here. I guess I managed to get most of my crazy day out there because this post is hella long haha but I mean that’s just because a lot went on. hopefully tomorrow will be less eventful, I don’t have court or standby on the hotline but I need to figure out what’s happening with the case from today, so idk how much time that will take up, but now it’s 1:30 am and I really need some sleep, so I’ll end this here.
