Anarchy
"Stick to wall, ground, human… then FFFFFRRRRRYYYYY! Hehehehehehehe." —Siviks, Lost to None
Type: Grenade Launcher
Slot: Kinetic | Energy | Heavy
Element: Arc | Solar | Void
Perk: Arc Traps - Grenades stick to surfaces and chain Arc bolts to other grenades.
Ornaments: Uniocracy, Compliance
Origin & Description: One nice thing Destiny often does is let you acquire your enemies’ weapons. Whatever bullshit they’re slinging at you, every so often you’ll get to sling it right back. Anarchy isn’t technically one of these since no enemy wields this exact gun, but it’s in the same vein. It’s technically typed as a grenade launcher but what it actually is is hilarious: the “grenades” fired by Anarchy act more like trap wires, sticking on impact and automatically linking together with Arc bolts to any other nearby grenades and electrocuting any enemy who crosses between them.
Anarchy is made by the eliksni, also called the Fallen, an insectile race that were the Chosen of the Traveler before humanity. Its name alludes to the ongoing collapse of eliksni society due to events occurring in our solar system. When the Darkness attacked their home system (an event they call “the Whirlwind”), the surviving eliksni were forced to flee in a ragtag fleet that set out in search of the Traveler, which had left them just before the attack. In the centuries after their diaspora they evolved a nomadic lifestyle raiding, scavenging, and looting whatever they could find to keep themselves alive and moving. Before the Whirlwind eliksni society was built around multiple “Houses” or social factions; afterwards these Houses were reorganized and began to enforce a strict caste system based on food rationing, made necessary by the scarcity of resources and the command structure of their spacecraft.
Once the eliksni reached our solar system and detected the Traveler on Earth, they mounted multiple invasions determined to retrieve it and regain their civilization’s lost glory. After enduring multiple attacks over centuries the City nearly fell to the last and biggest invasion, called the Battle of Twilight Gap by humans and the Final Attempt by eliksni. It nearly broke the early Guardians and overwhelmed what remained of humanity. But thanks to the heroic Guardians who held the Wall back on Earth, plus the Awoken ambush of the House of Wolves in the asteroid belt, the eliksni were decisively repelled from the Last Safe City.
Having been settled in our system for far longer than normal, and with the hope of regaining the Great Machine to fix all their problems finally extinguished by the Final Attempt, the eliksni have now begun to fracture. Caste systems and old House rivalries are breaking down into splinter groups and rogue factions. Eliksni figures like Variks the Loyal and Misraaks of the House of Light are actively seeking to reform and rebuild their society...and then there’s eliksni like Siviks.
Siviks, Lost to None, doesn’t care about reform. Siviks wants the world to burn while he runs around screaming and stealing shit. He wants, well…anarchy, and that’s the name of his grenade launcher. Siviks and his gang, Kell’s Scourge, lucked into a trove of human Golden Age weapons technology belonging to a secret human organization called the Black Armory, and quickly set out in search of more. After chasing him all over the goddamn solar system for weeks (grrr) the player has to drive Kell’s Scourge out of the Black Armory’s long-sealed Vault Ebisu in the raid “Scourge of the Past.”
Anarchy only dropped from Scourge of the Past, but it was worth running it every week till you got it. With the vaulting of older content at the beginning of Year 4, Scourge disappeared, so Anarchy instead must now be purchased for a sizeable heap of in-game materials at the Tower's Monument to Lost Lights. And it's still worth every jot of said materials, because in a game with plenty of weird guns Anarchy still reigns supreme as lord high king of jank weapons, and we here at the Institute for Jank Research know that of which we speak. Anarchy is already odd because it lets you create environmental hazards rather than fire at your enemies directly, but things get exponentially more hilarious with every grenade you add: because Anarchy's electrical "trap wires" form dynamically, you can move the grenades around and they'll keep automatically linking up with any other grenades in range. And that means you can do some really stupid shit.
Stick Anarchy grenades to the ground. Stick them to your enemies and watch them stagger around getting shocked repeatedly. Stick them to multiple enemies and watch those enemies accidentally kill each other. Stick them to your friends and send these alleged friends running gleefully into a mass of enemies electrocuting anyone who comes near them. Stick them to yourself and do the same. Stick them to a moving piece of level geometry and watch it do your job for you. Stick them to your Sparrow vehicle and drive through your enemies. Stick them to two Sparrows and go hurtling around stretching a deadly web of lightning between them like an electrical cat's cradle.
Bottom line, if you can dream it, you can stick an Anarchy grenade to it. The only limit is your imagination. And the thirty-second timer on the grenades. That's also a limit. But other than that! Imagination.

Destiny Raid Headcanons
Thought i'd throw my hat in the ring, heregoes.
- Every subsequent replay of a Raid is completely canon.
-1. VoG has you crushing a Forest Simulation of the rebuilding of Atheon
-2. CE and KF have you reprogramming the Ascendant Realms of Crota and Oryx respectively (which are yours now, lul thx worm) to replay the events of the original Raid, everything fought is a psychomutable shadow created by the collective will of 6 bored to death god-slayers.
-3. WoTM just happens again every so often, rogue fragments of Rasputin take control of the corpses of Vosik, Meksis, and Aksis, and rerun the whole thing. Shiro enlists the help of a random 6 guardians to stop the threat once again. Perhaps Rasputin is intentionally doing this?
-4. I'm assuming you've all seen the end of Leviathan. I'd imagine something like that happens with EoW and SoS as well, Calus challenges you with the old threats that his Guardian Shadows have already done away with.
-5. Each subsequent run of Last Wish just happens because time loop (thanks quria)
-6. The survivors of the Kells Scourge after the first SoTP band together to attempt control over the Botza District, to disappointing effect.
-6.1. Siviks convulses in his grave every single time.
-6.2. The Spider used to be overjoyed every time a ragtag group of Guardians (usually hunters because "Fallen silk makes the best cloak material") arrived and mentioned that Botza was freed again, but now it irritates him that the resolve of the Kells Scourge is that strong.
-6.3. Both Misraaks and Variks are disappointed by this. Misraaks because he dislikes the Eliksni/Guardian war and he feels like this routine only bolsters the mutual hatred. Variks because the Fallen are starting to grow ever further from Old Eliksni ways. From trust between houses, to drama, to all out war, and then to uniting because of numbers alone, and now crime syndicates? Oh how they have... fallen :(

I imagine there is at least 1 Eliksni that was born around the time Destiny 1 started and has been involved in every major expansion.
A Devil Dreg that watched Sepiks fall, got shunned and exiled to the Moon to be with Exiles. He saw Crota's Hive reinvigorate when Crota started to wake up, then fled to Venus to join House Winter only to find out Draksis is dead and Winter has been without a Kell for a while. Then, Skolas rolls up talking mad game and promising a shiny new life so he just kinda slinks his way into House Wolves. Gets promoted to Vandal. Surprise, Wolves fall. He stays with the Wolves until Daddy Oryx rolls in with a massive murder boner. He lays low in the Tangled Shore, makes some good Reefborn friends, real 1-in-a-million group of Eliksni, until he goes back to Earth because he hears through the grapevine that a splinter faction of Devils got some shiny new toys. His friends weren't about it, so he goes alone. He gets there only too find out Aksis is fucking dead and his cult has no leader.
He uses his Skiff as a bargaining chip so he can join the normal Devils, things on its last legs anyway. Thinks he's fine then Boom. Red War. Boom. Joins House Dusk. Lays low in Cosmodrome for a peaceful time, gets promotedto Captain, maybe gets a boy/girlfriend. Lays back and listens to all sorts of chatter throughout the years. Lightbearers are doing shit on Mercury and Mars. The House Kings lose their Kell. The Wolf Servitors are basically being hunted down. Then, he hears radio chatter of shit going down at the Reef and the Tangled Shore.
He goes "oh shit, my friends" and rushes back to the Tangled Shore, girl/boyfriend in tow, knowing they might not even be alive anymore. They're fine but some resent him and some don't. You do what you do to live and survive, that's the way of the scavenger. Then once the Tangled Shore stabilizes, he hears of Siviks making shiny new toys (where have I heard this one). So, he waits for that to fail before taking his Crew and swooping in and taking anything that wasn't nailed down. His crew lives the high life for a bit and forgive him and start to respect him. They're listening to radio chatter of Eliksni being sent on punishment expeditions by the Spider and never coming back and Guardians walking around with mad gold drip. Then, supplies get low again and he hears Skolas is back and on the Moon with Taniks so he goes to see how organized they are and, surprise, they're just ghosts, the Hive are pissed and spiky and red, the Vex are pissed and mossy and green, and the moon has a big red erection.
Takes what they can and goes back to the Shore because fuck that noise. Chills again for a bit and listens to Dusk on Earth freak out over a giant letter H falling out of the sky before it explodes. They think it can't get worse. Spoiler. It does.
Hears talk of a new home on Europa from a transmission from Variks. Reefborn friends are into it but he isnt (he's heard it before) but they're excited. He hears a couple former Devils are some big wigs and thinks he can get some high class property for him and his friends if he flashes around that Devil banner they've been using as a rug. Talks it over with his crew this time, before packing it all up and moving to Europa for another new life. Life's cold but good until it gets infested with robots. They fight hard but their new home is a wash but, some guy named Misraaks seems to be pretty popular and, not to mention there is some evil trees on the Tangles Shore, so they go back to Earth to kick it with him only to see Caiatl's fleet pull in.

Comfortable Silences with occasional words; Ada - 1 (Destiny 2)
"Don't even think about jumping on my display cases, hunter."
The said Hunter turns to Ada and throws her hands up into the air. "It was one time love! Plus I was challenged! Y/B/F said I couldn't keep my balance on the thin screens for more than 30 seconds!" The Exo turns away from her books and towards Y/N, face unreadable but her voice shows it all. Amusement, disbelief, and mirth.
"Exactly my dear Guardian, once should be enough for a wise man. So I do believe I do not need to remind you once more." She tilts her head forwards and nods a bit before turning her attention to the screen above her table. "She's right you know." Ghost tells her and Y/N rolls her eyes at him as she heads towards Ada.
"Well can't blame me for being a bit bored this time. What are you up to anyway?" The Guardian wraps her arms around Ada and throws a quick peck at the Exo's cheek. Most of the time they can't even breathe the same air in the same planet so they treasure each and every second they have with each other.
"I'm re-arranging the pages of the books Siviks tore out. I doubt it interests you so you can go socialize with the rest of the Last City while I work." She doesn't mean it of course, she wants to spend every single millisecond with the other woman. But she feels weak for even thinking about asking her lover to stay, and foolish for asking this of a Guardian.
Y/N gazes at Ada lovingly, removes her arms from the curator's waist and stretches before she speaks. "I'll be damned if I let you get tortured by having to put pages by chronological order alone." Damned she will be indeed. She steps beside the Exo and asks what the basis of what she's trying to do will be, Ada explains, and not a little while longer they're sorting pages in comfortable silence while the Ghost roams the Armory, curiously studying the displays and the terminal above the two.
"Hey Guardian, heads up. A forge saboteur has arived on the Outskirts of the EDZ, just beside the lost sector we found recently." Y/N sighs as she stops putting pages in books and she turns to look at her love. Ada tries to sound strong, like the fact that the Guardian has to leave once more doesn't affect her at all.
But they both don't miss the way Ada's shoulder slumps, how her hands slowed down and Y/N surely does not miss the Dimming of her Eye LEDs. She knows Ada does not want to seem weak, and how she doesn't really like pep talks in her work place, so she does what she does best, show that her love knows no bounds and no walls.
She takes one of Ada's hands and brings it to her mouth. Kissing it before looking at her and promising to be back as soon as she gets the Black Armory's loot back.
The Exo looks over at the book the Guardian organized a few moments after she's left for the EDZ. She finds a note left at the back of the book
"I know you don't want to seem weak, but you're nothing but the toughest woman in the world who holds my heart with great care to me and I love you for it." - Y/N L/N
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N: Man I love Ada so much, I know she's an NPC but leave me aloneee. Thanks so much for reading and feel free to send a request my way.
Y/B/F means "Your Best Friend
