Figured out how to implement Tari in my cinematic au.
Basically she's one of the Mario Bros' oldest friends back in Brooklyn and has been trying to figure out what happened to them (since they did in fact vanish off the face of the earth). During the adaptation of Super Mario Bros 3, SMG3 Chooses Chaos and not-so-subtly lures her into a warp pipe that dumps her into the Darklands, where she endures a near one-for-one recreation of Movie Luigi's arrival in the Darklands, except one of the Dry Bones eats her prosthetic arm (so she can get her Meta Runner arm later), the Snifits and Shy Guys who capture her actually have dialogue, and one of them -named Gerald- is very clearly Toast Guy and implied to be Like That because he used to be deployed in Dinosaur Land's Fuzzy Woods (if you know anything about Yoshi's Island you know which level I'm referencing).
Bowser has heard the Bros talk about her before and decides to use that connection to his advantage (I'll figure out how later), and in the meantime has her act as Professor E. Gadd's assistant. E. Gadd's been stuck as Bowser's prisoner/involuntary head of Research and Development for a few years, and he's the one who builds Tari's new arm. She continues to be his assistant after they're free, mostly because she doesn't really have anything else to do now that she's stranded in the Mushroom Kingdom.
...Also Tari and Saiko develop small crushes on each-other because I think the ship is cute.
Now, to figure out how the hell to make Melony...

I'm back after 4ish days!
Everyone is a monster but Alya AU
Gabriel/Hawk Moth - Vampire
Gabriel is actually Count Dracula (Prince Dracul of Walluchia?). After losing his kingdom and becoming a vampire, he has been periodically disappearing and returning to (human) society with a new identity. His current identity is his 100th one.
As one of the first vampires, he holds incredible sway over their society and is basically the vampire king of France. He uses that power to moonlight as Hawkmoth without vampires from other countries catching on to him. Even if they did figure things out, it's not like they could do anything to stop him.
Emile is Gabriel's 100th human lover. The pair found the miraculous when they were archeologists in China (the Emile lore expands).
Gabriel is absolutely overpowerd as Hawk Moth. Without a miraculous, he has all the powers and weaknesses of an old school vampire (sunlight only depowers them instead of hurting them, he can control the weather, he can control animals like rats and wolves, he needs to be invited into a house in order to enter) and is at the same power level of an akumatized supervillain. With a miraculous, he is just as strong as Witch!Ladybug.
Also, in this au Hawk Moth uses his vampiric hypnotism to make people accept his akumas. I only thought of this change because one of the writers made that stupid twitter post that "aKuMaS ArEn'T bRaInWaShEd" so decided to make a better justification for it.
Nathalie/Mayura - Ghoul
Nathalie became Gabriel's assistant/Ghoul about 40 years before the start of the show. During that time, Gabriel needed a more personal assistant that was loyal to him and decided to turn the first person that showed up to the job interview.
Okay so if a Vampire bites someone and uses their weird black magic it makes a ghoul. If a vampire shares blood with a ghoul/human then it makes a full vampire. If a vampire bites someone and dosen't use their weird magic then it dosen't do anything. I should totally be hired to worldbuild someone's show lol.
Emile was having an affair with Nathalie because woman bonding over protecting themselves from the man that thinks he owns them and because I said so!
More specifically, Nathalie's end goal is to stab Gabriel in the back and take Awake!Emile/Adrien far away from Paris. However, after seeing how devoted Gabriel is to Emile, Nathalie started developing feelings for him too (the plot thickens)
Nathalie has a special bond with Dusuu because she thinks their situations are similar. Just that.
Lila - Demigoddess
Lila is the half-human child of Mendacius, the Roman version of Dolos (the Greek god of Lies).
Basically, the gods are real and having still having kids like Percy Jackson's Olympians. But unlike Percy Jackson's Olympians, they got a lot (more) weaker from the majority of people not believing they exist anymore. So while they are still dangerous, the witch society/ vampire society poses a real threat to them which forces them to stay hidden and lay low.
Lila started using her powers to brainwash her mother with Lies ever since she was 12 years old. She does this so she can basically do whatever she wants. Lila's main powers are (obviously) making people believe everything she lies about, but she can also use the Evil Eye curse (like a real witch).
Lila came to France so she could find a way to steal the miraculous and use them for herself. Additionally, because her father's domain is falsehoods and deceptions, Lila immediately figured out Ladybug/Chat Noir/Hawk Moth's identities after seeing pictures of their civilian selves and superhero selves. She uses this information to manipulate all three of them; she makes an alliance with Gabriel/Hawk Moth; she uses her connections to get closer and closer with Adrien; and she manipulates the school to turn on Marinette because Lila considers her the only real obstacle to her true plan, stealing three miraculous! Lila is playing a game of chess with everyone, meanwhile Gabriel and Nathalie are playing checkers, and Marinette is playing chutes and ladders (and Adrien is just off to the side watching eveyone play).
In this AU, Alya originally believes Lila's lies, but since Marinette revealed her identity to Alya, it broke the effect Lila's powers had on Alya. Basically, a lot of the stuff Lila pulls happens way earlier, but this time Alya is aware of whats going on and exposes her lies (which should have happened in the show)
And that's that! Coming up with a bunch of ideas on the fly and writing them down was a lot more fun then I thought it would be, so if I make another original post it will either be me dragging a certain fandom for it's decades worth of racism (not miraculous, Harriyanna has her work cut out already doing that. Also the fandom I am talking about is way more blatant about it) or it will be me posting more unhinged ideas about this AU!!!
Thank you all for liking this!

the jockwood universe (college au)
basically jockwood is a thing now, and these are the generic world building hc's of this au :)
essentially what's going to happen is a bunch of x reader fics set within this universe, all probably slightly different but every one of them set with this same background to them, so... yeah!
(also a special thank you to the multiverse of George for helping answer my pestering questions)
Lockwood is on the football team/part of the university football society
Also the fencing society
George and Lockwood are friends from high school but are in separate circles in college
George is also on the ice hockey team
Kipps is on the football team too
When they were like… preteens or something Kipps and Lockwood had a friendly football match where they were on opposing teams
Lockwood’s team beat Kipps’ by… a lot (and Kipps totally isn’t bitter about it)
Holly is a student rep
Lucy is in debate club and fencing
Skull is a campus cat who hisses and scratches everyone but Lucy
He’s called Skull bc he’s got a weird patch on his head that looks a bit like a skull
And also Lucy seems to always know what Skull wants?? It’s like she can actually talk to him or something 👀
Barnes is a very tired senior lecturer who is the academic advisor to the trio + Holly and Kipps, and he wishes they would stop hogging his office hours
The Winkmans are a family who live in town and sit on their porch every morning shouting abuse at people who walk past
Bobby!!! On the football team and also in band (plays the clarinet probably)
Kate and Ned as well - both on the football team and hang out with Kipps obviously, along with Bobby
Rotwells College is in the same town/city and often competes against the Fittes university (that Penelope is head of)
Flo goes to Rotwells’ and is in their fencing society, but she sneaks onto the Fittes campus all the time to feed the ducks and throw frozen peas at passing students
Visitors - there’s a lot of local folklore and haunted buildings, and Lockwood and Co go and investigate because they’re Like That
Technology is modern, and as such they have phones
And group chats
Obviously Lockwood and Co is the name of Lockwood, Lucy, George, and Holly’s group chat
Lockwood is surprisingly old-fashioned when it comes to technology though? Like he has a record player and cassette tapes in his room that he just whips out every now and then
People’s courses/degrees!
Lockwood’s course is chemical engineering with fine art/art history
George - chemistry
Lucy - English (language and literature)
Holly - English literature + publishing
Kipps - Architecture (but he’s a dick about it)
Ned - Spanish/Spanish + international development
Kat - chemical engineering
Bobby - history
Flo - classical and archaeological studies

hi !! i forgot to post these initially, but ive rewritten a bunch of stuff from my kny fantasy au :]
these are just general messy pieces of a couple people + infodumping below :]]c
(Piece 1)
Kyojuro and Senjuro are a duo of brothers born into the Rengoku family, that's left their sons especially well known for generations for their eagerness and being willing to assist others with any sorts of labour or tasks they're unable to complete by themselves. Being from a long line of centaurs, Kyojuro himself included, this gives them a lot of advantages over the general population who are predominantly human and allows them to physically handle a lot more. Senjuro, however, is a little bit of a different story- Shinjuro and Ruka Rengoku aren't an expected pairing from this bloodline, with Ruka being a faun lady rather than another centaur. Because of this, instead of being the norm, Senjuro, despite having the strong, usual features of a Rengoku, was born a faun, leading him to having to help people in a slightly different way to his elder brother. However, it doesn't stop him from accompanying Kyojuro out every now and then.
(Piece 2)
A well renowned group of performers, labelled misfits by some who have their reservations about their tales and music, Tengen Uzui and what are rumoured by some to be his three wives Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru have made a name for themselves here after coming out of nowhere with the girls' musical talents and Tengen's unique and self-described "flashy" appearance, often the initial factor drawing the common folk to their shows, to which they ultimately stay for their display, intrigued by their stories. Stories that are brought to life with stunning song and performance, allowing an almost vivid, painterly visual to appear to the audience. Whether this is merely their minds at work or truly a piece of the group's own magic is debated, but the true answer has yet to be revealed.
(Piece 3)
Within the Demigoddess of Life & Health's sanctuary of peace, the center at which her tree of life lies- accompanying her guardian Yushiro aswell are the two children she took in and under her wing while they were still quite young. An older brother and younger sister, Gyutaro and Daki are both satyrs with surprisingly, vastly different appearances. The duo were originally only to stay short-term- however as Lady Tamayo begins to realise that there is more to these two than first appears, she asks them personally if they would be willing to stay with her longer. The pair since a young age have experienced strange visions of an... inverted world, displaying many horrors beyond belief to commoners, however such tall tales have never been truly believed by anybody else, labeling the children as merely 'crying wolf' because their world has been at peace for centuries. Why these visions of theirs intrigue the Demigoddess is unknown, but when it's brought up, she often has a look of distant sadness on her face.
The duo were often left to their own devices as they grew older, and seemed to eventually grow to enjoy causing trouble, described by some as delinquents- though one day, a young man they had found near their home had caught their interest. He didn't appear to look anything like they had seen before- with scales and horns, almost reptilian in appearance, if he didn't have the face of a man, albeit his cheeks covered in scales. He introduced himself to the siblings as Kaigaku, and boldly stated he was a draconoid- however they had been presumed extinct for years. He had run away from his adoptive home... yet again, and had gone out into the forest to get away from the stuffiness back there, however ultimately got lost as he wasn't aware of where he was going, not often venturing out until recent years in 'teenage rebellion'. This was the start of the small group's friendship, as the young man would continue to come back to the siblings to see them specifically, which caused them to eventually enjoy one another's company. Lady Tamayo does have a few small reservations about him, though hasn't disclosed as to why to anybody.
(Piece 4)
Living within a small estate in the woods with her sisters- Shinobu is a doctor of sorts, though it certainly wouldn't be assumed at first glance, due to her more unprofessional approach. Don't allow that to fool you, however- due to her lesser magical and physical strength as a fairy, she instead has devoted herself to helping the less fortunate in a more medical way and has succeeded far more than the average run of the mill practitioner. She sometimes lurks over previous patients who suffered from particularly serious issues for a while, merely in order to keep her eyes on them and see how they fare. One previous patient in particular she's kept an eye on is a curious sorcerer- one... seemingly born with his powers, rather than having to study arcane text in order to gain them as most do. Glowing marks engraved on his skin, Giyuu was a rather unique case to the sisters. With his mortal body unable to fully handle his power's true extent, his form began to erode. It was only with the enchanted red bindings around his body he was able to contain his power, at the cost of his ability to use it as he pleases, it's repeated use often causing exhaustion. He's made a full recovery as of now, however with what's contained inside of him, his state is quite unpredictable and could change in the blink of an eye.

a VERY adapted hades/persephone spy x family au:
the shopkeeper is hades, and yor his most talented collecter. the dead lover her, you see - she's so very kind when she takes their souls, and always makes sure that they're well-accustomed too (doesn't mean she won't get stabby-stabby when she needs to, tho)
loid is a mix of Persephone and demeter, the god of the harvest and half-lies. he is popular among the immortals and mortals, and he often wanders around the mortal world for centuries at a time, disguising himself from beggar to king. mortal who treat him well are rewarded handsomely by him. in fact, he was the first to retrieve anya from the mortal world when word of her birth made its way to olympus. she had been destoned for death, but under his thumb, he brough life back to her. now she glows, like the emergence of spring in a barren land.
the goddess sylvia is the fiercest hunter and takes the role of artemis, goddess of the hunt. after all, who would suspect the honourable warrior to be the goddess of deception as well?
his adopted daughter, the young orphan demigoddess anya, was handed the mantel goddess of spring after the unfortunate demise of her immortal biological mother and her mortal father, punished by zeus for their affair. her doggy companion, the oracle bond, has never left her side after the goddess sylvia charged the young goddess with his care after finding him abandoned for torture and mortal war plots.
damian is the second son of the king of olympus, the recluse donovan desmond (ie. zeus). his brother, demetrius, the god of bloodlust (ares), does most of the leading. he is firm but kind despite his title and with the help of his mother the lady melinda, goddess of the hearth, they lead olympus.
damian himself is god of reason, war and wisdom (athena) - ironically, it is something he sorely lacks. he is in charge of the civil runnings of olympus and smoothing out arguments between the gods and goddesses of his home. it is his duty, but sometimes, he wishes for something...more.
becky, the goddess of love and lust (aphrodite), is the greatest beauty of olympus. many try and court her favour, but none have succeeded thus far. her best friend is the spring goddess anya, and who's father she may have had a little crush on when younger...
bill is the god of war, leading charges in the mortal world. he hold great love for the goddess aphrodite, who does spurn his advances...
the gods emile and ewen, great friends of the prince damian, hold joint responsibility over the stars and the wind. ewen is more enamoured with the stars, and often escapes to the mortal world to discuss the matters of the cosmos with those like-minded while emile drifts on the wind, travelling from west to east looking for culinary talent. sometimes, the weakest stew can taste most scrumptious when taken from those that give it willingly, only kindness in their hearts.
and thats it for now.

😇🪽🪽-Subterkamytale History:🪽🪽😇
The story of: Subterkamytale takes place on the Earth...where the Reapertale characters...I mean gods reign over humans and monsters and where the gods, monsters and humans live peacefully in the Earth.
In Subterkamytale the monsters are new monsters that have similarities with the monsters in Undertale.
However, the peace that exists on Earth is threatened when a radical group of humans began to spread hatred towards the gods and fear towards monsters, triggering a devastating war between humans and monsters.
The devastating war ended with the overwhelming victory of the humans, the monsters were expelled and exiled in the underground, where they were locked by a magical barrier imposed by the humans.
The story continues with the original gods, that is, the gods of Reapertale, since...the gods, witnessing how the population of humans and monsters began to spread, the balance of life was being broken since there were too many mortals living on Earth...and that in addition to that, humans and monsters had destroyed the peace on Earth, they decided to do something to regain balance and to recover the peace, they decided to create a God with the power to kill: Sans and Papyrus.
The gods, after creating their God with the power to kill, decided to send their two: Emissaries and semi-goddesses of mercy: Lyra and Frisk to the Earth.
Frisk in this Au is in charge of teaching mercy to humans and she will do everything possible to recover the peace that was on Earth.
Lyra in this Au is in charge of restoring the hope that the monsters lost and she will look for a way to free them from the underground.

🪽🪽😇Subterkamytale characters:🪽🪽😇
(Before starting with the characters of this Au, tell you that All the gods of this Au including the demigoddesses: Frisk and Lyra...and finally including Chara are divine/spiritual beings.
Therefore they do not have a physical or established form, they can take on multiple forms (one of those forms is their human form with which they can go to earth without mortals discovering their identity as gods), and "Death/Sans and Papyrus" takes on multiple faces/appearances, and the "Sans" we know in this Au is one of them).
-Emissaries and semi-goddesses of mercy:
Frisk and Lyra.
In Subterkamytale Frisk keeps the six human souls that are emissaries of the same character but corrupted by darkness and hatred.
-Beloved acolyte of faith/The Corrupt former Goddess that corrupts souls/former Goddess of Hope alongside Asriel and princess of the gods:
Chara.
She slowly became an outcast, as humanity grew with the hatred of gods and fear of monsters, she remained firmly well.
Over time, Chara had also suffered harassment and abuse from the humans who began to hate gods and fear monsters, which would have caused Chara to steadily begin to or she new eternal mission is: corrupt the souls of humans even more.
Deep down, she never wanted to disappoint the gods she loved so much...especially Toriel, Chara sought solace in her love for the gods more and more so she forged a friendship with his brother Asriel, Chara and Asriel became inseparable.
Chara once managed to steal Sans's scythe which she uses to take Toriel's life or so she thought... since Lyra before being sent to Earth saves Toriel from being killed.
She dislikes Sans quite a bit but without actually hating him.
She has a great hatred for humanity, yet she appreciates without loving monsters.
She appreciates the humans who use the hatred that Chara uses to further corrupt they souls.
Chara also she dislikes Lyra a little but without hating her for save Toriel.
-Goddess of life and queen of the gods: Toriel.
She brought life to the world and created humans and monsters, all of them are her creation and her children, she learned that Asgore, Gerson and Gaster propose the creation of death.
Toriel, disgusted by this decision, fled the divine sphere and hid in isolation on Earth, where if it had not been for Lyra saving her, she would have been killed by Chara when she lowered her Guard before Chara.
-Gods of death: Sans and Papyrus.
Subterkamytale Papyrus and Sans' appearance and clothing are the same as Reapertale Sans and Reapertale Papyrus.
Papyrus is the kind and compassionate side of death while Sans is the not kind or compassionate side of death.
The two take care of souls truly corrupted and completely contaminated by hatred.
The two also take care of all the souls of the Earth, both human and monsters, obviously.
Sans and Papyrus can manipulate a Soul, that means they can harvest souls, that is, take the souls of mortals.
Everything Sans and Papyrus touch dies instantly.
Sans has two clocks with sand of souls where in one of those clocks he observes the life of each living or mortal being, that is, human and monster, and in the other clock he observes how much time they have left to live. His watches are black and the souls inside are the same color as the 6 human souls but the souls inside the watches are not the 6 human souls.
His brother Papyrus also has a single clock that allows him to observe the lives of mortals and when they will appear where he wait them.
Papyrus also carries most of the burden as he takes responsibility for organizing events and maintenance on Earth while Sans takes the role as judge of souls.
Finding Chara's corrupted soul, Sans tries to end her suffering but she is more cunning and steals one of his scythes.
Sans has a big addiction to coffee.
Sans and his brother Papyrus have black wings.
Sans uses his black scythe as a weapon, Chara stole a another scythe from him.
Papyrus uses a smaller black scythe than Sans.
Every time Sans kills or takes some healthy and pure soul, Sans becomes very weak and his soul decreases a little.
Sans can fight other gods without receiving serious damage, also in this Au the gods cannot kill each other.
-Goddess of fortune: Muffet.
-God of the home: Grillby.
-Goddess of knowledge: Alphys.
Alphys is quite shy and saved Mettaton's soul with her magic.
-Goddess of war: Undyne.
She mistakes Frisk for Chara so she attempts to destroy her corrupted soul but she is stopped by Sans clarifying that she is not the one she is looking for.
-God of the heaven and king of the gods: Asgore.
Asgore was aware of the imbalance that Toriel's love generated and he made a decision that had to be made but no one blames Toriel and that is simply because he decided that way.
Asgore realized that due to the imbalance, human beings are taking advantage of life and therefore are victims of darkness and apathy, death was necessary to take advantage of life and he understands that what Toriel did was with love but In the end Asgore made a difficult decision but he did so with humility and sadness.
He is a kind and gentle god and king...but he does what is necessary.
-God of hope/now demi-god of hope and prince of the gods: Asriel.
He and his sister Chara were the gods of hope but Chara stopped being the goddess of hope.
Asriel is the eldest son of the gods: Toriel and Asgore and Chara's brother, he wanted to protect Chara since she believed in him.
When Asriel died, his soul was corrupted and divided into two parts:
-One part created a being that possessed the capricious magic, faith and broken hope and broken dreams of Asriel called: Flowey.
In this Au Flowey is the embodiment of despair and bitterness.
Flowey became Chara's partner and Flowey and Chara are not friends.
-The other part unfortunately began to break but thanks to the determination of Lyra and Frisk since they knew that Asriel died...that part did not break and Asriel returned to life.
Now Asriel is a demi-god just like Lyra and Frisk.
-Mettaton:
He is a human who, upon losing his life due to being killed by a human after protecting several monsters and humans from the attack of the human that killed him, his soul was used to turn him into a crystal golem.
-God of wisdom: Gerson.
He has a great indifference towards human beings and has an admiration towards monsters.
-God of magic: Gaster.
Gaster was in charge of creating and ending death in its entirety, giving them magic, however due to the fact that Gaster had never created anything before there were unpredictable consequences and two gods of death were created instead of one, Sans and Papyrus...both with the title of God of death as two sides of the same coin.
Both...I mean Sans and Papyrus are made of a mixture of magic, wisdom and darkness.

12 days of Christmas // A Lockwood & Co Advent Calendar
DAY 9
Welcome back! Today I have an absolute treat for you. Someone around here (I don't remember who it was unfortunately) brought up a locklyle regency AU - and while I initially felt ill-equipped to write it, inspiration struck and that is how we end up here.
So please enjoy this Bridgerton/Cinderella inspired Locklyle Regency AU, featuring Viscount Anthony Lockwood, Butler George and Kitchen Maid Lucy, who gets to have her very own Cinderella moment.
As the Clock Struck 12 - A Locklyle Regency AU
pairing: anthony lockwood x lucy carlyle
wordcount: 4.5k
masterlist
day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4 day 5 day 6 day 7 day 8
advent calendar tags: @givemea-dam-break @wellgoslowly @maraschinomerry @losticaruss @oblivious-idiot @uku-lelevillain @avdiobliss @strawberryloveyyy @strawberrycowgirly @demigoddess-of-ghosts @thefriendlyneighborhoodmomfriend @boookfreeak
A knock on the door made Anthony Lockwood look up from the correspondence he had been working on since early morning. He called for Bancroft to come in. The elderly man entered, carrying a silver tray in front of him. "This just got dropped off, my lord." His eyes twinkled. "By a Fittes' carriage, might I add?" Anthony thanked him and gestured him to put down the tray on an empty spot on the table. He turned his attention back to the half-written letter in front of him but then decided the unopened one to his right was of much more interest. He reached over to pick it up. It was heavy, and upon turning it around, he saw himself faced with a red wax seal, indented with none other than the Fittes crest.
Lady Marissa Fittes The Duchess of Devonshire cordially invites Viscount Anthony Lockwood to a Masquerade Ball to be held at Combe Carey Hall on the 20th of May, 1813
Anthony briefly scanned the rest of the letter. A masquerade ball. He could think of much better things to spend his time on, but one doesn't simply reject an invitation coming from Lady Marissa Fittes. At least he had a few weeks to mentally prepare himself, and thanks to Bancroft, he wouldn't have to worry about acquiring a mask either.
---------- 19th of May, 1813, Combe Carey Hall-----------------
George nervously glanced up and down the hallway, but it was just as empty as when he entered it a few minutes earlier. He stepped back into one of the bays, his back to the tall window, and partially hidden by the heavy curtains he took a deep breath. The quiet was a welcome change from the bustling that was going on in other parts of the estate. For an entire week, the staff of Combe Carey Hall had been working tirelessly to prepare the huge ballroom for the masquerade ball, there had been drill after drill for the butlers, and he had no idea how he was supposed to survive the evening tomorrow when his back and shoulders were already killing him now. He jumped as the curtain in front of him was pulled back.
"Sorry I'm late", Lucy hissed, quickly moving the curtain back so that now both of them were hidden from any curious eyes that might look down the hallway. "It's fine. I needed a break anyway. But I have acquired everything you need." He held up the bundle he had tucked under his arm. "Dress and mask." Lucy took the package from him, and as she did, the fabric opened up and a mask slipped out, into her hand. "Wow", she breathed out, delicately holding it. The mask was a stunning, deep shade of blue, with many intricate silver ornaments. She moved the fabric further and revealed a heavy fabric in the same shade of blue.
She stared up at George, mouth hanging open. "Where did you get that?" George grinned. "I have my sources. Just don't question it." He took the mask from her hand and held it up to her face. "Who knows, maybe a mysterious duke will fall in love with you?" Lucy scoffed. "Yeah George, right. Because Dukes are well known for marrying kitchen maids." She paused for a moment. "I don't need love. I just want one evening to feel like more than a kitchen maid who gets pushed around. Maybe one dance with someone, anyone. And then I'll leave and no one will ever know it was me." She looked down at the luxurious fabric in her hands. "Well, thanks for this anyway. I owe you big time." George squeezed her arm. "No worries. You covered for Flo so many times, that's the least I could do." Lucy perked up. "Speaking of Flo, she asked me to give you this." She searched the pocket of her dress and pulled out a note, folded up impossibly tiny. "You're supposed to read it alone though, so I'll leave you to it. See you tomorrow night!" And just like that, she was gone.
---- Morning of the 20th of May, 1813, The Lockwood's Estate-------
Anthony eyed himself in the mirror. He had forced himself into the finest tailcoat his collection could offer. It didn't look too shabby, he had to admit that. His gaze fell on the mask Bancroft had picked out for him. It was a rich, dark blue, ornately decorated with gold embellishments. It was perfectly fitted to his favourite waistcoat. As usual, he could rely on Bancroft's tastefulness. Anthony had decided to take on the journey on his own. Combe Carey Hall was just about two hours away, and he had planned to return the next day right after the brunch Lady Fittes was holding for an assorted group of attendees. He didn't even really know why he was invited to that event in the first place.
The carriage ride proved to be just as uneventful as he had expected, and after his arrival, a butler who had introduced himself as George led him to one of the many rooms of Combe Cary Hall, an estate much bigger than Anthony was used to from home. "This room is yours for the extent of your stay, Your Lordship. The Lady Fittes wishes to make known that you are free to request whatever makes your stay more comfortable. I shall be at your service until you leave the estate." Anthony took a closer look at George. He seemed to be roughly his age. "How long have you worked here?" "Just a few months, Your Lordship. I have just recently ended my training. If you wish for a more experienced -" Anthony shook his head. "No no, that's not it. I'm sure you'll do great." Something about the boy intrigued him. He had a feeling they could have been great friends if only they had been born into the same social circle.
------- 20th of May, 1813, Combe Carey Hall, 9 pm---------
After quite a lengthy conversation with George, who had excused himself to attend to some last preparations, Anthony had changed into the tailcoat he had brought and was now admiring his reflection in the mirror. The mask, which hid the upper half of his face, was fitted flawlessly to him and matched his blue and gold waistcoat to perfection. But now it was time to finally show up in the ballroom and offer a greeting to the hostess, Lady Marissa Fittes.
One entered through two large winged doors, and would then immediately reach a balustrade, over which the entire extent of the ballroom could be surveyed. Anthony took a sip from the champagne, which had been offered to him immediately upon arrival. He adjusted his mask, which had proved difficult to properly fasten without someone to help him. He wondered if it was on purpose that a butler fresh out of training, who also had responsibilities throughout the evening, was designated specifically to him. He let his gaze wander over the crowd. It wasn't hard to spot the Lady of the evening, even though she, like everyone else, was wearing a mask. Her tall, slender figure in a silver gown and a matching silver mask, by far the most elaborate he had seen so far, made her easily stand out. A lot of women would have blended into the crowd in a silver dress, but she seemed to stand out even more. He emptied the champagne and handed the empty glass with a nod to the nearest butler before he began his descent of the stairs that led down to the ballroom floor. It took quite a while until he got through to Lady Fittes, as he was not the only one here who wanted to express gratitude for the invitation. After a short conversation with her, he made his way over to the buffet at the side of the room.
He had just grabbed another glass he didn't quite know the contents of when George appeared by his side, a tray in his hand and wearing the same simple mask that seemed to have been handed out to all other butlers. He did a little bow. "My Lord. Are you enjoying the evening so far?" They had quickly switched to a much more informal style of conversation. Not only did Anthony not agree with treating his servants as his inferiors who weren't worth talking to respectfully, but their closeness in age made it easy for him to forget that George wasn't just some old friend with the same social standing as him. He took a sip from the liquid in the glass. Lemonade, delightfully bitter. Not the best he ever had though, he much preferred the natural lemonade with pulp his mother had given him as a small kid. "There hasn't been much I could have enjoyed yet. The conversation with Lady Fittes was…" He waved it off. "Let's forget about that. I should be off finding some lovely ladies to dance with." George's eyes twinkled in a mischievous way that reminded Lockwood of Bancroft. "I might know someone you'd like. But she won't arrive until later." Anthony knew it wouldn't be a good look for him to spend the entire evening talking to George, even though he found himself enjoying their conversations. He did not particularly enjoy the company of all the young ladies, since a lot of them seemed to think of him as an eligible bachelor who was desperate to marry as soon as possible. He knew that was what he should be, but he couldn't care less if he was honest with himself.
----------20th of May, 1813, Combe Carey Hall, 11:30 pm -----
Lucy's hands were slightly shaking as she made her way through the hallway leading up to the entrance of the ballroom. She was thankful for the mask that was hiding half of her face, and she had to stop herself from constantly smoothing out the skirt of her dress. She had no idea how George managed to get his hand on something as gorgeous as this. Really, it was much too gorgeous for her plain self. If it weren't for the equally gorgeous mask, she would have looked ridiculous. On the way to the ballroom, she had come across several of her fellow kitchen maids, all of whom had curtsied for her - it seemed like all it took to make her completely unrecognisable was an expensive dress.
She downed the first glass of champagne that was offered to her in one go, and for a moment she just stood at the balustrade, looking down on the crowd of dancers. Her fingers gripped the cold metal, and she had to talk herself out of turning around and going straight back to the kitchens. Luckily, she quickly spotted George, whose curly hair made him easily recognisable, even with the mask on. She felt weak in the knees as she slowly descended the stairs, still gripping the balustrade, fearing that at any moment, someone would recognise her for the fraud she was and throw her out. She made her way through the crowd, desperate to find George as quickly as possible. When she finally spotted him, she almost tripped over her dress as she rushed over to him.
"Woah, that is not very lady-like of you", George laughed a little as she skidded to a halt next to him. The masked lady next to them turned her head, and despite her mask, you could tell her look was disapproving. "I feel like throwing up", Lucy whispered. "This was a bad idea." George shook his head, still smiling. "You look fantastic. This is gonna be a great night. I already found you a dance partner." Lucy whipped around. "What? Where? Who?" George squeezed her arm. "Calm down", he whispered. "I think he's coming over right now."

Anthony was growing tired after the fifth dance of the evening. Somehow it felt like every girl he talked to had been the same. Maybe because they all looked the same with their masks, but maybe also because none of the conversations they had had during dancing had been stimulating enough to keep him with his dance partner for longer than the socially required duration of a dance. He grabbed himself another lemonade, scanning the crowd for George. Maybe it was time for a break. It didn't take long to spot him, but this time he had to do a double take. George wasn't alone anymore. Next to him stood a girl in a stunning royal blue gown. They seemed to be close, judging by the way they were whispering to each other. He was intrigued. Who was this girl? He felt the need to talk to her, maybe ask her for a dance. He put down the lemonade, and made his way over, straightening out his suit. For whatever reason, he wanted to make a good first impression on her.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
"There he comes", George said and gave her a nudge with his elbow. "Stand straight, you wanna make a good first impression." Lucy did what he said, and her eyes frantically scanned the room for someone coming towards them. What if this was George's way of paying her back for the pranks she had pulled on him some time again and now he had promised some old creepy dude a dance with her? Someone behind her cleared his throat, and she whipped around. Her stomach dropped at the sight in front of her. The man standing in front of her, his mask the same shade as hers, but with gold ornaments to her silver ones, made a little bow.
"I'm Anthony Lockwood, pleased to make your acquaintance." "Viscount Anthony Lockwood", George added and gave her another subtle nudge. Lucy gasped, and she could feel herself blushing in embarrassment as she did a very wobbly curtsy. "Miss - Miss Holly Munro", she blurted out the first name that came to mind that wasn't hers. Anthony smiled and extended his hand. Not really sure what to do, she went to shake it, but instead, he took her hand, bringing it to his lips for a delicate kiss on her knuckles. Lucy felt like she was about to faint, and she could tell that George was trying hard to keep his composure. What was happening? "Miss Munro, might I have the honour of the next dance with you?" She couldn't do anything but nod, much too overwhelmed by the situation. So when Anthony offered her his arm, she let him escort her to the dancefloor.
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Miss Holly Munro. Anthony was racking his brain, but he was unable to put a face to the name. That in and of itself was not unusual, as the amount of ladies one met at these events was simply overwhelming and he did not care to know them. But then again, if he had ever seen this girl before, he would have remembered, he was sure of it. Something about her was entirely captivating to him. He could only see half of her face, but that coupled with her beautiful eyes that had looked at him with great surprise only seconds before made him sure that was remarkably beautiful. He wondered what her connection to George was. As he led her onto the dance floor, he could tell that she was nervous. They began dancing, and he quickly realised that her nervousness meant that her dancing wasn't as refined as he was used to from the ladies he had danced with before her.
But rather than annoyance, as he was used to from himself, it sparked in him the wish to hold her and relieve her of this nervousness. He tried his best to lead her through the dance, every now and then stepping aside to avoid her foot on his. "How come I haven't seen you around so far this evening, Miss Munro?", he asked. She wasn't wearing gloves, and her hand felt warm in his. It felt like it was supposed to be there. "Oh, I'm sure you've seen me", she said, avoiding his gaze. "I've been here quite a long time." "I find that hard to believe", he replied. "I could never forget a beauty like yours. And if I had seen you before, I surely would have asked you to dance right that instance." He couldn't help but smile as he noticed the blush on her cheeks as she looked to the ground bashfully, still not meeting his eyes. This was the most genuine reaction to a compliment he had seen all night. But then again, it was also the first genuine compliment he had given all night.
After a while, the conversation between them was flowing easily, and Anthony found himself not wanting to stop their dance. Where with every other girl he had felt the urge to leave as soon as possible, this was the opposite - he felt the urge to never leave her. With every time she laughed at his jokes and blushed at his compliments, or said something witty that made him laugh - he found himself thinking about how maybe marriage wouldn't be so bad if it was with someone like her. "Shall we get some lemonade"? he asked after they had - rather reluctantly from his side and, he felt confident, also from hers - ended the dance due to the band taking a break. She nodded and he fetched two glasses, giving her one. "Would you like to accompany me outside on the balcony? I could use some fresh air." "Of course, my lord." He could barely stop himself from asking her to just call him Anthony. Using his title was awfully formal when he felt like he had known her forever. They made their way to the balcony, her still at his arm, and he revelled in the feeling of having her pressed up against his side as they navigated the tight crowd.
The balcony was surprisingly empty, probably because everyone had gathered at the buffet after all the dancing. He let his eyes wander over the beautifully maintained garden that lay in front of them, but when he turned to her, it was like for a moment he had forgotten how to breathe. She looked ethereal, the silver on her mask glowing and her blue dress in the silver moonlight made her look like the gods themselves had blessed her. At this moment, he wanted nothing more than for her to take that mask off so he could see what beauty lay beneath it. "Have any other suitors expressed interest in marriage with you?", he blurted out, and immediately regretted it as she took a surprised step back. "Any other suitors?", she asked, her voice suddenly uncharacteristically small. Anthony cursed himself for his thoughtless words. "Surely you have many gentlemen interested in you?" He thought that was a harmless question, but it seemed to make her even more nervous. "I don't have any suitors", she said quietly, and he had to hold back a sound of surprise. "That's not possible", he said. "A lady as stunning as you, with no suitors?" She shook her head frantically, taking another small step back. He moved a little closer to her, fighting the urge to take her hand. Maybe she was embarrassed at her predicament. After all, having no suitors wasn't all that flattering. "Would you have any interest in a courtship with me? I have found our conversations -" She raised her hands, her voice wavering. "No, please, my lord, that's impossible. You can't marry me. No one can marry me. I - I'm so sorry." And with that, she hastily gathered her skirt and practically sprinted back into the ballroom.
Anthony Lockwood stood on the balcony and felt like he had been struck by lightning. What had just happened? One moment he had offered marriage to a girl, and the next she was gone. Did a marriage proposal from him evoke that much terror in her? She had seemed to enjoy their conversation just as much as him. And if she really had no suitors… 'No one can marry me' she had said - what did that mean? Just then, as if to mock him, the church bells in the little village below the estate started to chime - it was midnight. He needed to find her. She didn't have to marry him and she found him that repulsive, but he did deserve an explanation at least.
Back inside, he searched for George. In his rush to get to him, he knocked into several people, all of whom gave him indignant looks, but he could not care less. "George!" The butler turned around, looking surprised at his dishevelled state. "My Lord?" "Miss Munro, where is she?" "What?" "Miss Munro", Anthony repeated, impatiently. "Where has she gone? We just talked outside, and suddenly she ran away." George put the tray he was carrying down on the nearest table. "What did you talk about?" "I was offering her courtship", he said shortly, not wanting to think too long about the fact that the prospect of marrying him was what had made her flee the scene. George widened his eyes. "Marriage?!" "That is not the point now. I just need to talk to her." He tried hard to keep his voice down, but the prospect of never seeing her again made him erratic. He had never even seen her face. "You know where she is, George", he said urgently. George rubbed his temple. "She's gonna kill me", he mumbled, more to himself, and Anthony did not care to ask him what he meant by that. "George!" "Alright! Go through that door, down the corridor, then to the left, then to the right. You should find her there."
Anthony did not wait for him to finish speaking, instead, he rushed to follow George's instructions. The hallway was much smaller than the opulent ones he had seen so far, it seemed almost like this was an area for servants. Why did George send him here? He was running down the hallway, and while he tried his best not to trip over his own feet, he tried to undo the knot that held up his mask. Away with that stupid thing.

Lucy leaned against the outer wall of the estate, the stones cool at her back. Her hands were still shaking, and she was so focused on taking deep breaths in order not to have a panic attack that she didn't hear the approaching footsteps. "Miss Munro?" She clutched her hand to her mouth to stifle a startled yelp, and when she turned around, none other than the man who had just proposed marriage to her stood there. But something was different - his mask was gone. She felt her face get hot. He was even more handsome than she had imagined it. This was about to be a disaster.
"Miss Munro, are you okay? I did not mean to startle you just now. And I did not mean to overwhelm you with the prospect of marriage. We can always take a little more time to get to know each other better." His voice was gentle, and she could feel her eyes starting to water. Sneaking into this ball was the worst idea she had ever had. "You don't want to marry me", she finally said, and she hated how her tears were audible in her voice. Anthony took a step closer to her. "What makes you think that?" Lucy's heart hammered in her chest. Now she was trapped. She couldn't just run off again. Maybe she should just come clean. He seemed like a kind enough man, he would probably excuse himself and then leave her alone and not make her any trouble.
He was looking at her expectantly, and she bit so hard down on her cheek that she was sure it must be bleeding. "I can't be your wife", she finally said. "I'm not a lady. I shouldn't even be here and I'm not who you think I am." Anthony was quiet, showing no signs of surprise. She nervously shifted her weight. She had expected him to be upset. "I'm not a Lady", she repeated herself. "I'm just a mere kitchen maid, never suitable for a man of your social standing. You should never even be seen talking to me." Her eyes were trained on the ground, and she waited for the inevitable sound of him turning around and leaving, angry at her deceit and disgusted at the fact that he had offered marriage to a kitchen maid. But he didn't leave. Instead, he asked: "Is that how you know George?" Her head shot up, surprised. "Are you not angry?"
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Anthony had no idea how to feel. What she had just told him - never in a million years would he have expected that. "Angry? Why should I be angry?" he finally asked. Yes, maybe he should be angry. He knew that that was what was expected of him. But he couldn't bring himself to anger. "I deceived you", she said, dropping her head again. Without thinking, he closed the gap between them and gently raised her chin back up with his finger until she was looking at him. Her beautiful eyes, which he now finally had the chance to truly look into, were swimming with tears. "You did not. The proposal was extended to you, not to any title you might have or not have. It's you that has captivated my every sense."
Neither of them moved. He could feel himself getting lost in her gaze, and there was a not-so-small part of him that wished he could just lean down and kiss her. But a much bigger part of him wanted something else. "Can I take off your mask?", he asked quietly. He could tell that she hesitated. "I'm not sure this is a good idea. You might be disappointed", she said finally, and he almost laughed out loud. "I don't think I will be."
She hesitated a few seconds longer, then took a step back. She raised her hand to the back of her head, but he stopped her. "Can I do it?" She nodded, and quickly started working on the tight knot. It didn't take long for him to hold the two loose ends in his hands, and he slowly took a step back. She looked at him, and for the second time this evening he felt like he couldn't breathe. "You are as beautiful as the moon and the stars, Miss Munro", he finally breathed out. The girl in front of him swallowed thickly. "That's not my real name. It's Lucy." His heart skipped a beat. He carefully took both her hands, pulling her closer to him with a smile. "Well, you are as beautiful as the moon and the stars, Lucy."

reader appearing in Game of Thrones era is gonna be like a hallelujah for the guys that didn't get her last time. it's like their second chance. And the youngins too, they've heard so much about Reader and they've always assumed that it would take another hundred years for her to show up but nope. she's her with her baby (theon).
she's the one who raises Theon in Winterfell. Im pretty sure that guy had pride and self-worth/self-esteem issues in the OG series. Well reader's here and she looks at those in the eye and just says "No".
Man, her time at Winterfell's gonna be awkward as hell— Like Ned was pretty chill back in the day, but Lyanna's a pretty sure subject and Ned used to have a little puppy crush on the reader so interacting with Cat is um.... yeah awkward. Reader WISHES she were in Dorne instead.
(IN THIS AU ELIA AND HER KIDS NEVER DIED SHE'S SAFE, HAPPY AND LOVED WITH HER FAMILY IN DORNE)
The real chaos starts when the Robert and his fam go to Winterfell after Jon Arryn's death tho. Bobby B didn't marry Cersei cuz Lyanna's still kickin but the psych damage she went through in the Rebellion makes her into someone like Cersei. Reader's not having a good time, she's like: "i should've taken Theon and jumped under the waves while I still could" BUT SHE PERSEVERES IT'S FOR THEON OF COURSE SHE DOES. Reader's going through her Mom/Big Sister arc this Era and it gives her strength she never had previously
All for Theon 💖
Actually, as much as it would be awkward, it's not, because is not the only one who's got a crush on the girl...Catelyn does too 😌
Now to the story
->
15 years had passed since the Rebellion ended and Robert Baratheon was named King of the 7 Kingdoms.
The Demigoddess since then, returned to the Iron Islands to stay away from everything, but she still wanted to be on Land. Her father allowed if she remained with the Greyjoys and the ironborn. She would also exchange letters with an old friend from Dorne, Elia Martell, who was hostage with the pearl back at the rebellion.
She kept her promise for 6 years, when the Greyjoy's rebellion happened and Theon Greyjoy was taken as hostage by the Starks, the princess went after him.
The pearl saw the young boy as her own child, and couldn't leave him alone in foreigner lands. Even if she knew that it meant to go against her father.
So, to keep everyone from committing war for her another time, she convinced Ned Stark to keep her away from prying eyes and in exchange she would be responsible for Theon. Ned reluctantly accepted, for he and his wife both had feelings for Sea princess and his sister, who was now Queen, hated her.
The Demigoddess spended the next few years taking care of not just Theon, but also all the other kids in Winterfell, she had a heart for all of them, without exception.
But the true problem was when Robert discovered that his once beloved was residing in Winterfell, far away from her father, and Ned never told him.
That angered the man, who was married to a cheap version of the real deal that the Demigoddess was, he immediately went to visit Winterfell.
The Starks immediately knew that she needed to be hidden before Robert arrived.

obsessed with the Hercules huntlow au actually. all of you are so right Hunter IS an absolute loserboy over big strong lady who can hold him like a pile of grapes. I'm already picturing belos as Uncle Hades who turns all goopy instead of fiery when ticked off and Hunter is just wiping goo off his face as he has to sit there and listen to this
Belos says shit like "Go seduce the muscle girl!", flinging his weird body goop all over his nephew, because Belos just leaks every time he moves. And now Hunter has to spend like twenty minutes changing clothes and scrubbing his hair clean because guess what, old man? It is very hard to seduce gorgeous demigoddesses when you're covered in uncle goop. Please stop getting in the way of your own plan.

SMG4 AU Timeline Anomalies
(6/30/23 Edited to include Blook) (9/20/23 Edited to reflect SMG4k's current status and include the Haltmann Meme Guardians AU characters) (11/4/23 Edited to include characters related to Abyssal's arc and Entropy) (1/16/24 Edited to include Showtime, update GG's profile, and clean up the tags) (3/9/24 Edited to correct a few mistakes, update Gohma's entry, and add AVA) (5/25/24 Edited to include Minion (because I can) and the two emergency part-time SMGs (Bob/SMGi and Pinkie/SMGpi). Also I'm almost out of tags on this post so if there's any more anomalies I may have to make a second list)
The God Box
A box of broken computer parts that serves as a graveyard for dead universes and a source of unlimited -and highly corruptive- power. At some unknown point it developed some form of consciousness. It was ultimately destroyed by the combined efforts of Avatar Mario, SMGs 0 through 4, Melony the Fierce Watermelon Demigoddess, and Terrence the Ugandan Knuckles.
Niles
A Super Meme Guardian replica created by the God Box to be SMG0's partner. While he was very good at his job, he proved to be dangerously unstable both physically and (after a failed attempt to repair his flawed code) mentally.
Zer0
A forced fusion of SMG0 and Niles, obsessed with creating a "perfect" universe to replace the one they lost. They killed Avatar Spudnick and destroyed his universe, and nearly did the same to Mario's twice before dying in the destruction of the God Box.
Minion Glitch
A spaghetti hybrid clone of SMG4 accidentally created by Mario using the same machine that made the evil living Weegee Dolls. She keeps in touch with 4, Mario and their friends, and the kids and Admins know about her, but she doesn't really get involved in the Crew's adventures, preferring a relatively quiet life in Bloopersville. Since she is half SMG, she's presumably capable of manipulating Meme Energy and using Guardian Commands, but she hasn't had a reason to learn how.
Super Mario 64 Emulator
Normally shortened to just Emulator, occasionally Emmy to her friends. She developed a consciousness and identity of her own as a result of the many, many problems that Zer0's presence caused for SMG3 and 4 and Avatar Mario's activation. She ultimately proved benevolent and acts as an unofficial third Admin for Mario's universe. She's usually a fun-loving goofball, but is very protective of the people she cares about and has a slight sadistic streak that comes out full force when something happens to them. Most of the Admins are either wary of or annoyed by her, often both.
Juliano
(belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving)
A former Admin and the main protagonist of Rising Star Circus. What do I mean by former? Well, he died as a result of a monster attack, and as expected his universe died with him. However, somehow a bit of his code survived and drifted around before finding the Mario universe and manifesting there as a Mario recolor. He was then reunited with his old friends, the prototype SMGs -1 and -2, who are now 3 and 4's Admins, Domain and Forum. He's since regained his old model.
Significantly more mature and level-headed than most Avatars both due to experience and because he doesn't have to deal with Avatar-level Meme Energy levels anymore. He acts as a mentor to the younger Avatars, especially Mario since they live in the same world and Mario's awkward activation means he doesn't have the same instinctual knowledge the others have and only started learning the hard way relatively recently.
The Gamer Girl
A TAS Bot programmed for Kirby and the Amazing Mirror speedruns that somehow became a full-fledged AI. A lack of grounding influences means she sees the multiverse as her playground and the people in it as toys. Thankfully she's the kind of kid who usually takes good care of her toys and puts them back where they belong when she's done, so while her victims do often end up traumatized, it's rare for them to get serious injuries or permanent physical changes. She primarily focusses on Avatar Kirby's universe, which is thankfully uniquely equipped to handle her.
Recently, she's been getting a lot better at understanding morality, in large part due to her friendship with Zack MeowtTF2, Jim Pianta and Larry Koopa, as well as her decision to unofficially be Diane "Floyd" Floyener's little sister.
SMGi
Full designation "Super Meme Guardian (Imaginary Number)," this is technically just Bob Bobowski with the False Positive Glitch active. The designation was first applied when Bob accidentally used the Factory Reset command on himself while trying to get rid of the FPG and overloaded the Guardian System. Recently he actively made use of this form (without a reset this time) alongside another FPG SMG in a battle against Ozymandias, and somehow he's better at using SMG powers than actual SMGs 3 and 4.
The Guardian System
(Look, even though it was deliberate I'm still counting it.)
As the name implies, this is the system that checks the status of the Super Meme Guardians, determines whether they have the proper permissions to use certain high-level commands, and allows Admins with proper permissions to access and make changes to an SMGs code. Due to an incident involving Bob Bobowski that nearly crashed the Adminspace Server due to Data Overflow, Admin Lag from the Maintenance Division upgraded the System into a full AI so he could explain what it was doing wrong. This development has increased its effectiveness dramatically, though several Admins do wish it had ended up as less of a little shit. But I guess that's just what happens when you're hooked up to Bob's mind for the first 75 hours of your life.
Dialup
An ancient program of unknown origin dedicated to eliminating anomalies for the sake of preserving the Internet's processing power. It was locked away in Computer Hell after attempting to reset Emulator twice.
Admin Gohma
The result of a demon taking over the body and consuming the soul of an Admin. While definitely powerful given her higher state and Admin Commands, she was still ultimately a Zelda Boss and went down with amount of effort once someone with a similar level of power who wasn't getting nerfed by a hacker showed up.
She survived her defeat as a formless mass of code and eventually made her way into what would become the Grid's MRU version of Hyrule, where she temporarily resided in Marbled Gohma before moving on to a Yiga Footsoldier that she molded to suit her preferences. She is now the Code Specialist of the Evil Syndicate, a multiversal alliance of supervillains that spans the five servers currently in the MRU system.
Mod the Code Turtle
A code manifestation for Mario, created by Emulator after accumulated errors Reset and nearly killed him. Haven't come up with much for him beyond the fact he exists.
Spicy Meme Generator 4000
A version of SMG4 from an alternate universe (actual universe, not just a separate computer program like most of the "universes" that exist in the SMG4 series.). His main ability is to absorb Meme Energy and create his own Meme entities that are extensions of himself. His ultimate goal is to consume all Avatars and Avatar candidates in every universe and use their combined power to become one with Reality itself. He was locked in Computer Hell with his powers mostly sealed for a while, but eventually managed to escape and continue its campaign of destruction. It was only thanks to the efforts of the SMG4 Crew, their friends from both their own and other Computer Universes, and several alternate True Universe versions of themselves that SMG4000 was finally destroyed and the universes of both kinds it had destroyed were restored.
Blook Emulator
A manifestation of Barry the rogue Avatar's abandoned universe. Unlike Emmy, it doesn't take physical form or speak in any understandable way, instead acting through the game world itself. It also hates. In particular it hates the Avatar that left it and the people who drove him away and especially the SMGs and Admins that started the whole mess. But mostly it hates in general, all-encompassingly, because it doesn't see anything else to do.
The Haltmann Triplets
A false set of Avatar and Guardians created by Susie Haltmann using a fragment of the God Box and genetic material from Mario and several other video game protagonists. Unlike Niles, they're fully stable and properly integrated into the Super Mario 64 universe thanks to Susie's programming knowledge. They're less powerful than a standard SMG set or the previous False Guardian since there was only a fragment to work with, but as a tradeoff they're immune to the corruptive effects of Anti-Meme Energy, able to use it safely and even purify it with some effort.
Mari0
An alternate Mario from a destroyed version of the Super Mario Bros Movie universe, empowered by the will of the God Box. His own powers, both canonical and demonic, have been heightened to the point where at his peak he managed to kill Ultra Instinct Shaggy himself, and he has gained the ability to transform Illumination characters into Anti-Memes and control them. He has significantly more cognizance than most characters who reach that level of corruption, possibly because his goals and those of the God Box are alligned
Mari0 Soul
Not willing to accept defeat, Mari0 and the God Box break past the last of their limits and consume the massive well of Meme Energy within Luigi. The resulting reaction between equal parts positive and negative energy causes the two wills to fully merge, mutating them into a near-godlike entity capable of siphoning both forms of Meme Energy from everyone and everything around him. In this state he seeks nothing less than the destruction of everything Avatar Mario knows and loves, and then to kill him after he's borne witness. Thankfully, he failed to account for Mario's friends still being both willing and able to fight even without memes, or for the power of the Stars, which ultimately proved his final undoing.
The Abyss
(belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving)
The endless Nothing that existed before the beginning of the SMG4 multiverse...which technically just makes it the hardware of Luke's computer that the code of Everything was written on. Over the years, it's accumulated junk data that's fallen through cracks in the code, slowly developing a mind of its own as a result. It came to resent the world above, especially the first five beings that were created from it to begin the dance of Life and Death, and so it created Abyssal to spread chaos and destruction. Ultimately, she refused, simply giving modified reports of chaotic, destructive events that were already happening so it wouldn't get suspicious. This couldn't last forever, and eventually another Anomaly forced both of their hands. While Abyssal is now free, the Abyss still exists beneath the world. Waiting. Plotting.
Shadow of Doubt
(belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving)
A manifestation of the Avatars' negative emotions that takes the form of shadowy versions of them and seeks to make them as miserable as possible so it can gain more power. Thankfully it has quite a few limitations. For one thing, the only things it knows about them are the things that make them miserable. For another, it's an idiot, as you'd probably expect of anything that closely connected to all of the Avatars. They died as a result of the Abyss taking over their body.
Ecolo, the Space-Time Traveler
Specifically the version of Ecolo from Avatar Arle's universe. While everything about him is anomalous in-universe, as far as the SMG4 AU lore is concerned that's exactly how he's supposed to be. No, the only actual anomaly about him is that, despite being a Character-style Program, he somehow has high enough code density to be perfectly fine in Code Being servers.
Whirlpool
An offshoot of the Abyss that was kinda-sorta-accidentally-on-purpose freed from its control by Avatar Sora and his SMGs when they were trying to free the hearts of all the Heartless it had absorbed. It's now perfectly friendly, if a bit confused, and has clearly imprinted on Sora.
Entropy the Collector
(belongs to @forthedancingandthethriving. Introduced here.)
A Program/Virus hybrid that collects strange and unique code beings and keeps them in her own universe in what appear to be little glass balls.
Showtime
A consciousness formed when the Creep (the meat moss from It's Gotta Be Perfect) corrupted Emulator from the inside. At the height of her power, she had full control over the Creep, as well as Emulator's body and abilities, and managed to supercharge herself with Wonder Power. She was ultimately destroyed by Marggy, the fusion of Avatar Mario and Meggy Spletzer, and her soul was sent to the Disgaea Universe by Duck to atone for her sins as a Prinny. She's incredibly vain and lustful, especially towards Emulator. You do not want to know the stuff she did while stuck in that tower in full control of Emmy's body for a whole week.
AVA
A stray bit of Avatar code that broke off when the Arles merged during the Arle Arc, then managed to form into a mannequin-like echo of Arle's consciousness. It eventually managed to reach the rapidly destabilizing Composite Arle and restore them both into Arle Nadja and Doppelganger Arle/Dapple Nadja, taking on both halves of their Avatar Code in the process. Since she's now Arle again, AVA technically no longer exists.
SMGpi
The version of Pinkie Pie from the living Equestria server, under the effects of the False Positive Glitch. She first acquired the glitch during a battle with Ozymandias, where Bob Bobowski/SMGi deliberately triggered it in her so he'd have a Guardian partner and would be able to use his borrowed powers to their fullest effect. Like him, she's somehow better at it than 3 and 4 despite having the powers for less than five minutes.

Because I was asked about the demon AU earlier, here’s the full timeline I carefully glued together out of pieces of the canon one and a handful of pocket lint.
The land of Hyrule in its early days was entrusted to the demigoddess Hylia, who ruled fairly over all its people. One man, the leader of his own tribe of people, got it into his head that the land needed a more strict ruler and that it should be him. He had a deep interest in experimenting with the magic of the land, which at that point was very pure and raw and incredibly powerful. He used it to transform himself into a stronger form, granting himself eternal life and twisting his mind until he was overtaken by greed. He became known as Demise, and his people followed in his footsteps to become the army of demons that attacked Hyrule in an effort to claim it for their king. Hylia gathered the humans, who had no natural weapons and were afraid to fight, and sent them up to the sky to spare them, then gathered her own army to fight back The demons proved too powerful and through she managed to destroy their king’s true form, his power was too great and he took on a monstrous form that she could only seal away. Then she decided that it wasn’t the role of an immortal to lead mortals, so she gave up her demigoddess status to later be reborn as a Skyloftian. Cue the events of Skyward Sword.
After Demise’s destruction and Skyloftians’ resettling of the land, the remaining demons - the descendants of Demise’s original tribe - were scattered. No longer ruling over the parts of the land left unprotected by the great dragons, they became increasingly isolated from one another and driven by instinct. While still capable of banding together in a show of devastating force, the majority of them became content to simply rule over a smaller territory and command lesser monsters to do their bidding. These demons, who only came together out of biological necessity and didn’t try to invade or conquer, were the ones who survived and reproduced, so over the generations these are the behaviours that prospered.
As Hylians and demons settled into an uneasy coexistence, attacks and outbreaks of fighting were common - from both sides. A clan of warriors and magic users sprang up, dedicated to wiping out the demons that they considered an insult to the Goddesses. Their methods were brutal and they earned some fear and disdain from other Hylians as well. As they split off more from the general population and grew in numbers, a leader rose through the ranks who was overly fanatical about their methods. They decided they needed to enter the Sacred Realm, the entrance of which was guarded by the royal family, to get the Triforce and truly cleanse the land. In order to take it by force, they gathered power and created an artifact known as the Fused Shadow. With its power they turned against their own people and attempted to force their way into the Sacred Realm.
A small group of Hylians had become sympathetic to a few less aggressive demons after seeing the methods that the mages were using. The demons decided to band together with the Hylians and come up with a solution. Together they created the Mirror of Twilight, a symbol of the union of light and darkness, and it was used to banish the mages to another realm and seal them there. The Sage of Light split the Fused Shadow into pieces and it was hidden away by people with no understanding of its power beyond how dangerous it could be, to prevent it from being used again. Then the sage sealed off the entrance to the Sacred Realm, sealing himself inside with the Triforce to guard it.
Angered by the attempts to hunt them when they’d been (in their opinion) keeping to themselves, and seeing a chance to strike once their biggest threat was gone, the demons gathered their subservient monsters and ordered a series of vicious attacks on Hylian settlements. The peaceful Minish, who had recently begun to build their own settlements after coming through a portal from their own world and deciding to stay, made themselves known to a courageous young man who stepped forward to confront the threat. They gifted him a blade forged by the best of their blacksmiths and woven with powerful enchantments previously unknown outside of their own realm. Armed with this blade, the hero went forth and overcame the monsters, sealing the power of which they were composed away in a chest. The man came to be known as the Hero of Men, and the demons, bereft of their armies of servants, retreated from Hylian civilization again.
Hundreds of years later, near the anniversary of the hero’s victory and the Minish world’s portal reopening, an apprentice of a great Minish sage stole a powerful artifact of his master’s creation. With the magic woven into it, he unknowingly followed in the footsteps of the Demon King and granted himself enough power to take on a stronger form. The guise he took on appeared mostly human, but as he went forth into Hyrule and began to seek out even greater power, aspects of his new demonic nature became clearer. Ultimately he seized enough power to twist his body into a new monstrous form, only to be overpowered and sealed away by a new hero who had risen to confront him.
A few centuries passed as Vaati’s power gradually ate away at the seal on his prison. Ultimately he broke free, still in his monstrous form, with his memory all but annihilated from his long imprisonment. The only thing he remembered was his efforts to drain the Light Force from the princess of Hyrule, so his first act was to capture the current princess and whisk her away to a place he deemed familiar for reasons he couldn’t remember. There, isolated with her while he attempted to obtain the power long denied to him, Vaati’s memory gradually began to return. He realized his true nature as a powerful demon,  recognized the potential threat Zelda’s power held for him now, and began attempting to obtain greater control over himself and his abilities. When the new heroes of the Four Sword came to confront him, he faked his defeat and fled, surrendering Zelda to them. Instead he used his wind powers to escape unseen to the very edges of Hyrule, where he settled to bide his time.
Conflict raged across the years. As the numbers of long-lived demons increased and more of them attempted to claim territory entirely too close to other races’ settlements, the number of attacks began to increase. And yet the closeness of their species had other results as well, and eventually a pair of half-demon twins were born to the Gerudo people. These twins were in possession of great power and ambition, and when in their adulthood a new king was born to the Gerudo, they seized their chance. Secretly they murdered Ganondorf’s mother and, in the midst of the grieving, volunteered to raise the orphan as their own. They taught him insidious magic and instilled in him a dark ambition for more power.
Ultimately the most prominent races of Hyrule who were most severely threatened by the demon attacks - the Hylians, Gorons, Zora, Rito, and Gerudo - began to form alliances with one another. This led to a war of the united races, the first in which they had fought together. Many of them were slain, but countless demons were destroyed and driven back. In the midst of the conflict, a woman pursued by demons fled to the forest with her baby, where she found sanctuary among the Kokiri and Deku Scrubs who had hidden from the battles. Her wounds were grievous and she surrendered her child to be raised among them before dying.
Years later, after the war was over, the king of the Gerudo became aware of the great power the Hylians kept hidden. Desiring this power for himself, and encouraged by his adoptive mothers, he began to use his magic to threaten and intimidate the three races in possession of the keys to the Door of Time. Staying as a guest with the Hylian royal family as he waited for his scouts to report the other races’ surrender, he witnessed the young princess’s attempts to warn her father with her prophetic dreams and the young boy who set out to help the inconvenienced people. When the boy opened the Door of Time in a misguided attempt to save Hyrule, Ganondorf seized his chance. He entered the Sacred Realm and touched the Triforce, wishing for ultimate power. His wish was answered - in a sense. The Triforce of Power became his, while the other two pieces vanished to seek out the people who most embodied their virtues. Now in possession of enough power to become a demon himself, Ganonforf wreaked havoc on the land for seven years in his efforts to seek out the other two parts of the split Triforce. When their holders finally presented themselves and the hero confronted him, Ganondorf transformed into a bestial form to escape death. The Hero of Time was struck down and he stole the Triforce of Courage from his corpse, but before he could turn on the princess to obtain the final piece, she and the sages united their power to seal Ganon away in the Sacred Realm. In response to his greed and fury it began to twist and distort itself into the Dark World.
The sages entered the Sacred Realm and attempted to execute Ganon, who has been forced back into his Gerudo form. They managed to weaken him, but he proved too powerful to slay. Over time his power built behind the seal until he managed to force it open partially, allowing the corrupted Sacred Realm to connect once again with Hyrule. Members of multiple races were drawn in by the lure of power, only to be transformed into demons and put under his command. He built an army in this way before sending them forth to attack Hyrule, seeking to destroy the power of the sages and break the seal. The royal family called upon the era’s new sages and, guarded by the armies of Hyrule, they united their power and forced the seal shut again. The armies were all but decimated by the end and the royal family began to enlist able-bodied soldiers from all over the kingdom, seeking to shore up their defenses. Slowly they began to rebuild after the war, unaware that one small break in the seal remained. While it wasn’t quite enough to let Ganon force his way through into Hyrule, he could send his influence out into another realm long-forgotten by the people of the kingdom.
Ganon reached out into the realm of Twilight, where the cult of demon-slayers had long since been transformed by the world’s magic and formed their own society. There he found a willing servant in Zant, a prince who had been rejected as king by his people for his unstable behaviour and tendencies. A descendant of the demon-slayers’ leader, Zant still carried the lust for power that tainted his bloodline and was easily swayed by Ganon’s promise of taking over two kingdoms for himself. Using the power granted to him, he took over his own kingdom and then served as Ganon’s pawn to attack Hyrule, crushing their already weakened defenses. Before Zant could be manipulated into breaking the seal, however, he was overcome by a new hero and his alliance with the queen of the Twilight. After clearing Zant’s blight from Hyrule, she chose to destroy the Mirror of Twilight for good to ensure their people would never again encroach on each other’s worlds. Ganon was furious and decided that the only person who could be trusted to serve him was himself.
Ganon gathered his power again and, several generations later, managed to send forth an avatar of his power into Hyrule. Acting under Ganon’s control but with only a fraction of his power, Agahnim nevertheless managed to slay the king and brainwash the still-weakened army into following his every order. At his command they kidnapped the descendants of the sages and brought them to him, allowing him to seal them in the Dark World and finally break the seal. Another hero came forth and managed to defeat Agahnim, but by then the seal had torn open enough to partially merge the worlds. Though the hero faced Ganon and won, he was not fully defeated. He was left there in the Dark World as the hero reclaimed the Triforce of Power and Courage from his hold, using them to close the barrier once more. His trident was taken from him and later given to the Gerudo to guard. They sealed it away in a pyramid, hoping to prevent Ganon from ever regaining his full power, while the hero left Hyrule in search of more adventure.
Bereft of the Triforce and his powerful trident, Ganon should have been powerless. But upon the hero’s death, the Triforce once again split and one fragment returned to him. It was just enough to begin gathering his power once more and escape through one of the portals that the hero had unknowingly left open. Though far too weak to overcome an army or even another hero, Ganon set his mind to gaining power by any means necessary. He began to seek out and gather artifacts of all kinds, ultimately coming across the Dark Mirror. Its power showed him where to find his trident and he sought it out, stealing it back.
As he quickly gathered strength, Ganondorf learned more of the Mirror’s powers and in the process learned of Vaati, who had been gaining power for far longer and intended to extend his reach over Hyrule. Not to be outdone, Ganondorf began using the Dark Mirror to create armies of monsters. But ultimately he made the decision that such a powerful, ancient demon would better serve him as a subordinate rather than be a rival who could potentially decimate his armies. And so, with the power of the Dark Mirror, he created a new demon to present Vaati as a gift to earn his loyalty.
And a few years later, confronted by the growing threat to Hyrule, a half-demon boy barely in his teens drew the Four Sword…

Do you ever think about. the fact that Radiance, the Light, the goddess of light herself, was upstaged by the Pale King. because his light was so much greater. and everyone flocked to him instead, and she was left behind and abandoned.
do you think about what she might've felt. the abandonment and betrayal she suffered, the revenge that she went lengths to achieve. would a higher being's grief be more powerful than mortal bugs, or do they grieve the same?
Well now I am
Time to ramble *cracks mental autism knuckles*
So!! I’ve always thought Radi to be more a goddess of dreams rather than light, and since I’ve already made goddesses for All Of It with my Kirby insanity (staring intently at the entire ykkan religion), she’d be more of a. Demigoddess rather than a full-on goddess. But she’s still wildly powerful.
I imagine that, with the context of my own story’s lore, Radi would be the daughter of one of the four Godsisters, specifically the Ykka of Dreams — like, in the Dream’s attempt to keep at least a part of herself alive, she threw out another being made of Dream matter to be her successor in her downfall.
Because she’s made of Dream matter, a type of matter associated with memories and emotions, her rage and grief would be felt by anyone physically close to her. Before she was contained in Holly, her own emotions would’ve been felt by all bugs throughout the entirety of Hallownest, and that’s what probably started the infection in this (VERY UNFINISHED) au. After her sealing though, it would mostly just be felt by Holly, since that’s where she is, but the already infected bugs would still be carrying that wrath.
And allll of that emotional-rage-grief stuff is exactly what killed Radi’s mother.
‘Tis a vicious cycle, the cycle of Godhood.
I also think PK would be the Soul’s attempt at salvation. As such, PK’s power would be equal to Radi’s if not even stronger considering the rarity of Soul Magic. And beings like the Soul are literally built to create new life, hence why all those types of beings are called Creator Entities, which means any creature birthed by the Soul would be of very high magical capabilities.
In Soul Journey, Soul Magic is incredibly powerful and incredibly rare — like, rare to the point that people thought it didn’t even exist anymore — so beings made with the sheer power of Soul Magic are bound to be almost on the same level as the Ykka of Soul. Not on exactly the same level, but almost. That amount of power is more than enough for someone to be worshipped.
Sure, Dream Magic is powerful — the ability to have complete control over one’s mind, to achieve mental Godhood, is unlike any other. But to naturally wield Soul Magic is to have complete control over the very thing that keeps living beings alive. To have control over how someone feels and acts, when they die, when they’re born, what they truly are to begin with. That type of power is absolutely insane, and is to be both feared and worshipped.
That is why PK stole Radi’s spotlight. Being birthed by the Soul means unbelievable power.
And that’s why Radi was so destroyed. She was worshipped, she was loved, she was treated like what she was — a Goddess. But then, some random creature part of a near completely extinct species appeared out of seemingly nowhere and dragged her worshippers way from her, all because he was made by something more powerful than she could ever be.
She was jealous. She was grieving. She was enraged. She was destroyed. Her mental state was in pieces, as was her following.
All that glory, completely stripped from her, leaving her forgotten and alone like she was nothing.
It broke her.
And she lost her mind.
She lost her will.
She lost herself.
She lost everything, and with it, her life.
And suddenly I feel really bad for calling her a bitch.
*ahem*
Yeah, PK was definitely deserving of the worship he received. But Radi in no way, shape, or form deserved to be left in the way she was.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I do think I’ll go cry now

gods au where harwin's god of fertility and abundance. just as he lays his eyes on you he decided to bestow his gifts upon you. he simply has to.
when you bump into him (yeah sure. as if he didnt plan that) in your favourite tropical forest - garden of Eden vibes maybe, your head knocks into his torso (these gods are like TALL). you're shook and become even more flustered when you notice he's completely naked - his pride completely on display (the pesky gods dgaf about clothes, duh).
you gulp and have no words. you let him lead the way, you're like hypnotized. as he kneels before you, his mighty hand teases your pussy - he can feel you're soaked trough your fitting, sheer-like dress. it's his way asking for a permission. you give him a go ahead and boy, it is on! this is nothing like your previous encounters of this character with any human (to be fair it wasnt that many, your shyness still shows).
completely exhausted you fall asleep in his arms, you feel like he fucked your life force out of you. it's quite the opposite though! when you finally wake up, you feel as if you were transformed somehow, feeling very vital and flawless. your 'adventure' with harwin turned you into a demigoddess! it happens once in a blue moon - a god raising someones 'station' by fucking them. turns out it was fate, your intended life path. harwin's completely in awe (he was already smitten with your human form) of you, kneeling down again and asking you to come live with him where he and the other gods reside. a lot of 'abundance 😏' happens between you two there and it keeps on till the end of ages.
HOT HOT HOT!!!! Yes please, you know God!Harwin is hot in every form!

So I've had a couple of AU ideas since I've gotten back into the fandom and I'm kinda curious on what people think about them.
Monster AU - Snake and Shifter
In which Ran is only half human and Shinichi is only partially inhuman. Shinichi is descended from a line of shapeshifters who have mixed with humans so long the shifting is more or less danger driven, so good deaging was more his subconscious trying to protect him than the actual poison, meaning AI also has something like this going on - what if all the Blacks are shapeshifters to some degree? Meanwhile, Ran's mother was a Naga while Mouri is a human. Not much going on here but Ran probably has a stronger sense of smell than a human but weaker than a Naga and eventually, tho it may take a bit, realizes that Conan and Shinichi have similar scents. If the drug/deaging changed his scent then maybe she doesn't notice until after he manages to temporarily return as Shinichi, and his smell is similar to Conan's. She joins in on trying to help him re-age or something. They also aren't the only creeches but I dunno what the others would be.
TLDR, Shinichi and Ai have shapeshifter DNA and Ran is half Naga, she realizes Conan and Shinichi are the dang person because of scent and starts helping him.
Immortal AU - Don't trust magic
This one is both the least different and the most, in a manner of speaking. Shinichi, in an attempt to permanently reage himself, manages to succeed far longer than any previous attempts, and returns to Ran to try and salvage their relationship. Something happens and there's a backfire of sorts, not only reverting Shinichi back to Conan in front of Ran but unknowingly affecting her as well. It's not immediately obvious but, within a few years, it's noticed that doesn't really seem to be aging. Eventually, Shinichi returns to his age naturally or something, and realizes that Ran still hasn't gotten any older, when she should look at least ten years older, and soon he stops aging as well - they're stuck at the age Shinichi was trying to return to. They probably end up trying to reverse the situation, not knowing what would happen if they do, but if they fail at least they have each other. Speaking of which, I want to give them a supernatural ability thqt only works when they're holding hands or something but that might be too much.
TLDR, Shinichi tries magic or something to reage but indeed him and Ran are immortally stuck at the Shinichi's actual age and they're probably trying to find a counter spell.
Shifter AU - Cat to Kitten
Shinichi has always been able to turn into a cat, but it's something he hid from even Ran. But when he gets deaged, he becomes stuck in his cat form. Ran eventually finds him and takes care of him, naming him Conan after Shinichi's favorite author. Eventually he regains a partially human form, and Ran helps him hide the ears and tail. From here the story continues relatively the same, but with two secrets on the line. Also, beach episodes but instead of staring at Ran or something he's chasing birds and trying to avoid the water.
TLDR, Shinichi can turn into a cat and got forced into the form of a kitten, eventually the normal events of the show happen but with attempts to hide his inhuman features included.
Time AU - Physical Flashbacks
Ran is the reincarnation of a goddess or demigoddess of time, but she can't control her abilities. Mostly she gets visions, but sometimes she'll end up a few hours or so in the past in a bit of a time loop until she figures out why. This has allowed her to save Conan several times, but most of he times saving him were merely her own mortal skills. Eventually this fails. She's found out the truth, but Shinichi is dying, and she keeps trying to change things, and it's just not working. Somehow, the next time she goes back, she ends up at the beginning, after Shinichi has already been shrunk though, and has to figure out what to do in the past to prevent that death from ever happening, while also trying to decide if she should tell Conan she knows he's Shinichi.
TLDR, Ran is a reincarnation of some divinity tied to time but she can't control her abilities, she ends up in the past when Conan first showed up after Shinichi died and is now trying to prevent that death
