Kidge's kids headcanon: first son, Kayden!
(Hi everyone! I was supposed to do that since a year now but I always forgot or was feeling too busy... I really hope you'll enjoy it!!

NEWBORN:
A lot of people cried when they met him... ( These people are OBVIOUSLY NOT Hunk, Shiro and Sam!)
Matt started to talk to him as if he could understand... ( He asked him how his day was but the lil guy just came to life and doesn't know about his own existence lol)
When Kayden met Lance, he cried because Lance scared him by making too much noise...
Pidge has a video of Keith holding the baby for the first time... She said that he was holding him like a fragile wine bottle... Also, he cried.
Krolia called him Yorak when she met him. She raised him in the air in lion-king style.
Colleen made a little cover full of stars for him and he already seemed to like it...
Krolia gifted a blade but it was obviously too early for him. Keith decided to give it to him when he'll be ready.
BABY:
Kayden looks like Keith and acts like him too... He's just a mini clone of his father.
For that same reason, Krolia visits his son more often... ( Probably because she didn't get the chance to know her own son as a baby or a kid...)
Kayden has a LOT of energy. When he figured how to crawl , he would do it for hours at an incredible speed and will then go annoy Kosmo... All that without falling asleep!
Really tho, HE DOES MOVE A LOT!
When he sleeps with his parents, he would slap Keith whenever he snores... that always makes Pidge laugh.
Also, when he sleeps with them, he would fall asleep next to them ( like, in between...) And he'll wake up at their feets because HE MOVES TOOOOO MUCHHHH.
He's a picky eater! even when he started eating solid food, he would not eat vegtebles and always tried to get stuffs like chicken nuggets... But Pidge knows how to make him eat vegtables.
Kayden loves his mommy. so yup, his first word was mommy and Keith wasn't jealous but SUPER PROUD.
He quickly started to want to walk... He was failling all the time but one day, he did it and he was so proud of himself that he showed it to "mommy" and "daddy".
Krolia took Kayden into space to show him around... ( Of course, Keith went along.)
Kayden loves being out. When his parents take him outside to play or for other reasons, he would be so happy and try to go on the ground to crawl with Kosmo.
Going back to kosmo, he always keeps an eye on the lil baby, just as if it was his baby too.
If Kayden goes too far, Kosmo will bring him back to Katie and Keith.
Kayden has an obsession with birds. I loves chasing them and it makes him laugh a lot.
Once, he saw Keith in his training room, punching a punching bag. Kayden will directly go punch a plushie, just like his dada did, because it was so cool!
Pidge knows tricks to make him fall asleep.
TODDLER:
Still looks like his father.
He starts to talk correctly pretty slowly... He learns new words and uses them to tell the ones he loves that he loves them... Also that he peed his pants.
When he eats, he asks his parents to also feed his favorite plushie.
He walks practically perfectly. He sometimes still fall but made a looot of progress.
Pidge has at least a thousand pictures of his husband and son cuddling, eating together or even just sat together. She thinks it's sooo cute.
Pidge gave birth to Kayden's little sister, Anaïs. Kayden would look at her as if she is a small pet or a doll.
He really wants to be a good big brother, just like his parents told him to be. But he doesn't really knows what it means.
He held Anaïs in his arms and quickly asked his parents to take her back.
He wanted to play with Anaïs but she was obviously too small and fragile.
He got sad and cried.
But then, Keith took him to a store full of toys and he got to choose a few: he took a dinosaur plush, a doll that he thought was pretty and a fake computer so he could do like his mom with the computer.
He loves to hang out with uncle Matt... Even if Kayden can't do correct sentences, he will tells his uncle Matt everything he has done during the day.
cuddle time with mommy is the best thing ever.
He talks to his sister a lot, even if she doesn't understand anything...
his nonna Colleen makes the BESTS cookies ever! He says so all the time.
He thinks his mommy is so pretty. When he goes outside with his dad, he always pick up a few flowers to give them to his mommy because he says that they are as pretty as her.
Sometimes, he's jealous of his dad. Especially when Pidge hugs him or give him kisses.
Kid:
He started to go for runs in the morning with his dad. Also, to learn how to fight.
At school, He doesn't have much friends... He does have a few ones which is good.
he's not the smartest kid at school but he has good grades.
He loves playing video games with his mother.
Keith gives candies to his son after 6pm. If Pidge learned that, she would kill him.
kayden wants to pilot like his father... But Pidge is clear: his way too young!
Kayden likes to play with his sister. He's very protective of her and he likes to teach her things.
Since he knows what the BOM is, he wants to one day be a part of it.
Once, some older kids tried to annoy him. He punched them... His parent's weren't very happy that he punched these kids BUT, he didn't got grounded. Because he just stood up for himself... Even tho Keith and Pidge told him that there were better ways to defend himself. (Keith kind of recognise himself there...)
He still loves his mother more than anything and he does not care what other kids say about it.
A doctor figured that Kayden was hyperactive.
He does a lot of sport.
He loves Kosmo. He takes him on a walk everydays or at least fourth times a week.
Sometimes, uncle Shiro and uncle Curtis babysit him and his sister. And they have a LOT of fun. during the day, they go play outside and during the evening, they whatch action movies!
When uncle lance keeps them, they both get to go choose flowers for their parents in the juneberry fields, to play with animals and to meet some kids from new Altea... Anaïs is a bit too young to make friends ( two years old) but Kayden made friends easily and includes his sister as much as he can in every activities they do. Of course, Lance keeps a close eye on them, he sits under a tree to talks with the parents of the other kids while they play. He's used to keep kids, he has a huge family... before bed, they play video games... (Anaïs already sleeps when they do.)
When Uncle Hunk and auntie Shay babysits them, they usually bake something during the day so they would be able to gift it to their parents. In the evening, they play multiple games in the living room.
Kayden could listen for hours the many stories that his nonno Sam has lived into space.
When he was 8yo, Pidge got pregnant of her third kid: a year later she gave birth to Thomas.
He becomes even more protective of his siblings and takes good care of his brother.

Slashers with an s/o who likes to garden
I have a garden personally and if I had the space I would love to grow more fruits and flowers and plants in general. I thought this would be a cute idea to do and I grouped the Sawyer brothers and the Sinclair brothers together because it just makes more sense to me like that. Anyway I hope this doesn’t suck.
Includes: The Sawyer brothers, Otis Driftwood, and the Sinclair brothers
Warnings: None I can really think of
The Sawyer brothers
I feel like they grew some of their own food before you came along. But you defenitly helped them. You made a garden area where the soil was the best, you constantly made sure the plants were doing well and you kept pests away from it.
When you started to plant wild flowers around the house Bubba got really excited. He always loved picking flowers when he could and you planting these just makes him want to be outside even more.
Drayton would appreciate not having to buy as much herbs saving him money and also keeping stocked up on food. He’ll suggest growing grapes but won’t go super into detail as to you. But honestly you understand why he would want to drink since you have to live with the twins too.
You’ll teach Bubba how to make flower crowns and he’ll wear one whenever he can. You’ll dry out a crown for him so he has one forever.
You could always start compost but I feel like Chop Top would eat whatever fruit falls from the tree. I mean the mean eats his skin so.
Now that there’s fruit Bubbas gonna start to bake pies and whatever else he can.
Drayton might have you help bring some plants over to the gas station to make it more “presentable” in his words.
You’ll also now be able to made some herbal medication for some smaller things.
You’ll also find a way to make dried fruit peels to make the house smell better.
Otis Driftwood
His family doesn’t really have great access to fresh food so you’ll be a big change.
You might have to start with just foraging around for edible plants for yourself because he’s not gonna trust what you picked right away. After he knows it’s safe to eat he’ll make you your own little spot to grow some more fruits and vegtables.
You’ll eventually get real seeds to grow food from and you’ll have to explain to Otis that to grow things like garlic, potato’s and onions you have to plant the actual bulb.
“That’s a waste of damn food.”
He’ll help out as much as he can with the work. If you grow wild flowers he’ll cut some to give to baby and his mom. And he’ll keep some for you too, but if you make a big deal about it or just tease him about it he won’t do it again.
If he finds out your favorite flower and can manage to gets his hands on their seeds or bulbs he’ll grow it for you in secret.
If you get weeds like dandelions or onion grass he’ll question why you keep it so you’ll have to explain that it’s edible (Disclaimer: Yes the dandelions that grow in your yard can be eaten please make sure they aren’t contaminated with weed killer. This goes for most foraging plants.)
If you find something like poison ivy or stinging nettle he’ll ask if he can keep some of it. You know why and regret ever pointing it out to him.
He’ll insist on picking the fruit because he doesn’t like the idea of you being taller than him.
The Sinclair brothers
It started when you found some old seed packs laying around. With nothing better to do you planted them and started to grow some rosemary.
Lester is the one who helps you cook so you let him know about it. I get the feeling he kinda knows how to garden. Like as a kid he learned quickly what plants he can and can’t eat. He also may or may not have stolen seeds from shops and grew his own food in case Trudy took food away as a punishment.
Bo picked up on your little gift by you taking amazing care of all of the lawns and flower beds in town, making everything seem more alive. He’ll talk about maybe making a spot for you to grow some food so he doesn’t have to go into town as often.
You’ll get your supplies from Lester and make your garden in the back of the house.
Lester and Vincent will help take care of it while Bo supplies the rest of the things you need.
Vincent loves watching you work so he can sketch you and the plants. Lester and Bo like to watch you work because well, they’re pervs and I say that with love.
Vincent prefers the fruit you grow and Lester will just eat whatever peppers you grow straight up. The man can eat mostly anything. Bo likes whatever you give him really.
They never grew up with much fresh food and still didn’t really eat it until you started the garden. They really appreciate that you’re doing this for them and they get upset when you have to downsize the garden to fit inside because the weather can’t support the plants outside.

i know kaoanz is like a really popular anzu ship and like sure. theyre cute. kaoru genuinely wanting to get to know her and shying away yeah.

Was at farmers market w my fam today,, can we get some Alien AU farmers market headcannons! Gai’s booth is probably popping w regulars! I bet a few wonder about his new Roomates,,, he seems to be especially close to one of em ;)
Ohhh, Gai’s regular customers are intrigued. There’s so many questions but they can’t ask half of them because that would be rude!
Vegtables are the main product at the booth, but Gai also has some honey from the bee’s he cares for which are a big hit with people.
For the first few weeks of Kakashi and Yamato’s time with him, Gai continues going to the market as normal but seems very distracted in his regulars opinion.
On the third week, he shows up with two new people tagging along. When people ask about them Gai says they’re visitors of his who have decided to help.
Yamato is surprisingly good at making sales. People tell him what they want and he starts talking about other vegetables that go really well with them, and ends up making more sales
With Yamato helping Gai sells even more than he usually does, which is really impressive since he already sells almost all of his product.
Kakashi draws more attention to the booth simply by existing. None of them understand it but people keep coming to the booth to try and chat with him.
When gai realizes what’s happening he hets a little bit jelouse. That’s his cute alien damn it, leave him alone.
There’s a booth that sells used books and you bet your butt Kakashi goes there every single week to pick out a new book. The owner recognizes him after the second week and starts giving him suggestions. His name is Asuma and he thinks Kakashi is the weirdest dude he has ever met. He loved it.
Absolutly everyone see’s the way Gai looks at Kakashi. It’s impossible to miss. There are literal heart eyes in his skull when he looks at Kakashi
There are of course some people who are jelouse of the affection Kakashi gets from Gai. People who have either dated Gai in the past, or tried to date him.
Gai does not care. He knows where his heart belongs and he never plans on taking it back even if Kakashi doesn’t love him back.
After a few months Kakashi actually ends up opening up his own booth. He sells little sculptures that Yamato cuts out of spare wood, and little stories that he writes. It’s Gai’s idea to open the booth and Kakashi doesn’t think he’ll sell anything.
He almost always sells out (he only ever has like five things)
People love the sculptures and the stories. They quickly become a very popular thing that people are hoping for the chance to get for themselves.

Rachel works in the Canteen and helps the University students with fundraising bake sales and things.
She also organises little dinners for students who don't have enough money and they get to cook using already bought ingredients so they learn some skills.
This is incredibly useful for Jasper (who's living in an incredibly cheap flat) and can't cook.
Sometimes she even gets help from Henry.
Lanyon comes down at one point (because by technicality this is an unauthorized meeting on campus grounds..) and learns how to make a simple soup.
He actually quite enjoys making it??
And he also has a talk with some of the students about financing and stuff like that, though his eyes slowly drift to Henry.
He gets snapped back to reality when one student says "Are we sure they aren't dating?"
Henry gets alerted when Lanyon proclaims, far too loudly, "I am not dating your professor!"
Is.. is that a tinge of darkness on his ears however?
I don't know roles of staff in a university but, since she's also the day manager in the comic, I imagine she's on the school board or whatever it is. Which surprises all the students who only know her from the canteen as the really sweet one who helps them out with lunches when they're too poor to afford it.
As it turns out, she's also in a position of power and very willing to use it to protect the students.
I suppose Jasper would probably be some kind of biology teacher or biology student. He's skittish but he's very passionate about his animals and he's constantly bringing in snakes and birds and such (If he's a lecturer, it's for the students to look at for their studies. If he's a student, he's just very passionate.) He's constantly bringing animals into the canteen with him and Rachel is very willing to give him extra cups of water for the animals and, where they can actually safely eat them, little plates of food.
Henry can help organise things here and there but, when it comes to cooking, he's a disaster and is generally considered banned from the kitchen.

Lanyon is surprised that he enjoys cooking. He's absolutely dreadful at it - he leaves a plastic spatula on the still hot hob, spills it several times, and the vegtables are cut up into far-too-large chunks - but Rachel thinks, with a little more practice, he might be good at it.
Lanyon, who was only ever told by his father that he was never good enough, became quite flustered at the unexpected praise. To be told that it didn't need to be good because it was just practice? It was never something he had ever been told before and it was... quite nice to hear really.
He was quite embarrassed and ashamed of himself to find himself coming back to cook again. Just every once in a while.
Because, just maybe, he could become good at it some day. Without his father's pushing.

After getting properly introduced to Henry thanks to the lunch incident, Lanyon finds himself looking a lot more often at Henry.
Sure, he did it occasionally before - the man is cute - but he does it more now, taking in those glimpses of passion and honesty that he saw in Jekyll's class.
Which, of course, means the students notice, being students and all.
Lanyon always denies it - he doesn't even know the man and he hasn't gone around dating people since he was a student himself.
Yet, people do take notice that he's a little... quick to deny it.

this is gonna be one for old heads kinda, do you know in die hard how carl winslow is joking about twinkies? there is also a simpsons episode and i believe a family guy episode but i might be confusing them, futurama? anyway doomsday scenario twinkies survive until the apocalypse, i really enjoy twinkies, but its one of the earliest examples of a food that was widely thought of as “not real” but its really just a creme filled lemon spongecake but it does not spoil, the cream stays fresh, the cake itself remains moist.. unusual. you dont need a fucking degree, the same is true of things like chips, the reason a bag of doritos can feel substantial is because the chips are fried or prepared in a vegtable based oil, fat is the substance, but you are getting your substants form plants which are poison. dairy, but preferably beef and egg yolks folks, pork is weird the fat is i feel not easily digested and in general its like burning bad oil in a lamp, stinky oil. chicken fat is good but rare, beef is king, any cloven animal that also chews the cud
