V-125. ‘The tainted egoism, as determiner, is called intellect, which, imagining forms, becomes the base for cogitation (or mind).

V-126. ‘With its profuse imaginings the mind slowly is (transmuted into) sense-organs. The wise deem the body with its hands and feet (nothing but) the senses.

V-127. ‘Thus, indeed, in stages descends the Jiva, bound by the cords of imaginings and impressions, and encompassed by a multitude of sufferings.

"Profuse imaginings" taint the mind. Have you noticed how those southerners run amok, talking about strange things, trying to steal the government away from us all the time? Can you understand a cottonpicking thing they jaw on about?

"Who? Where? When?"

They say these things to each other and the kids all day long and before you know it, the entire high school locker room has its jockey shorts buttoned on tight, heading to the gurl's house to apply tempura paint to poster boards on sticks so they can picket the Abortion Rally rather than sit home on a Saturday morning and watch cartoons eating their Koran Flakes in front of the TV like normal people.

Little by little this creates a warped aspect of the Self, all these little activist gay baby daddies do, and little by little a dose of reality at a time, it can be undone.

Handmade with Love

In my search for good quality bedsheet for my baby (who has eczema and food allergies) that will not irritate his skin, I chanced upon Puan Jamilah of Cotton Picking. She understood my stress over Rayyan's skin issues and made some recommendations about materials.

Learnt that she sews everything she sells, picks the fabric and prints. From her voice, I knew she was very passionate about her love for sewing and handmade items. I fell in love with the Peter Rabbit set she made. it had Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton Tail and Peter on it. The material was soft cotton, it had cute little pipings and most importantly, the pillow set was large enough for Rayyan to roll back and forth without falling off.

She shared some lovely prints of her handmade blankets, pillows, bolsters and sheets. It would make great gifts for any newborn. Her gift sets are customisable, and sizes differ from one another. Some made from cotton or flannel. Interestingly, she also makes special sets for preemies.
