Random Terzomega headcanon/scenario

It's dark in Hell when Terzo dies. His eyes are wide open, but he can't even see his own hand floating in front of his face.

Terzo doesn't understand what's going on. One moment, he was playing cards with his brothers. The next, he's lost, blind and cold. So fucking cold.

Over the deep silence, his voice can barely be heard when he calls for Primo and Secondo, for Omega, for anyone. Terzo knows his heart should be beating wildly, but he can't feel it. Maybe it's beating so fast it feels as if has stopped? Maybe he's only freaking out.

And yet, this time he calls louder, more desperate. Omega said he would always reach him, would always answer his call. Terzo doesn't doubt it, doesn't even have time to do so before another hand, warmer and bigger, wraps around his own.

It's him. Omega. He would recognize him by smell alone, by the sound of his heavy footsteps on the ground or the heat coming from his body. Terzo lets himself fall on Omega's chest, enjoys the familiar embrace.

For a long moment, the ghoul stays silent. He is shaking, barely so, but Terzo can feel it anyway. He squeezes harder, confused and terrified, but doesn't dare to ask questions yet. There's something somber in the air, something dreadful.

"Omega?" he whispers, instead. "Is it raining, Omega?"

Swallowing the anguish in his throat, the ghoul tilts his head in an effort to stop the tears from falling down his cheeks. "Yes," he replies, voice soft. "It is raining."

The tears never stop. Even demons in hell can mourn from love.

A/N: guys you won't believe it but it's also raining right now inside my room. Yes. Just rain. I'm not sobbing.

Once again, I blame @coreyvoss and @vanmec because their incredible art has made me fall for this ship and they won't let me go.

Also, I'm trying new ways of writing short scenes/headcanons, 'cause I want to take a break from longer fics.
