I gave myself emotional damage by writing this. I hope you're happy.

Anne falls to her hands and knees next to her friend. She feels her powers die down, and she knows they will never be activated again.

She turns her head to the left when she hears Sasha groan, coming down from the same high as her. The blonde sits down, holding her head, her gaze unfocused.

Then, she notices Anne and she looks so, so relieved.

"Anne!" She says, staggering to her friend.

The brunette opens her arms and holds Sasha close. She starts crying of happiness, to have her friend alive against her, and she can feel Sasha's own tears fall on her hands.

"It's ok Sash. I'm ok. We're ok."

"We... did we..."

"Yeah. We won. We saved everyone. And we saved M-"

"How's Marcy?!" Sasha pushes Anne away, frantically looking around to find their friend.

Their hearts stop for a second when they hear the other girl move and groan a few feet away from them.

"Mar-mar!" Anne and Sasha exclaim in unison.

They slowly move towards their friend, carefully moving the debris that cover her, then removing the helmet with shaking hands.

They hold their breath as the girl slowly opens her eyes. They flutter a bit, but she fully wakes up after a few minutes.

"I... where am I?"

"You..." Sasha tries to speak, but her voice dies in her throat, so Anne takes over.

"We're in Andrias' castle. He wanted to invade Earth and you... you were possessed and we had to fight, b-but! We won! You're ok now!"

A smile grows on Anne's face, but it disappears very soon when she sees Marcy's confused face.

"Mar-"

"I'm sorry but... have we met?" The black-haired girl asks cautiously, her eyes going from one girl to another.

Anne feels her blood run cold, and she shoots a look at Sasha. The blonde girl paled very fast, and her eyes widen in horror.

"Marcy it's- it's us! Anne and Sasha! Your friends! You- you know us!"

"I-i don't-"

"You do! We're friends!"

"Sasha..."

"We're best friends! We... we're not mad at you!! I promise! We forgive you Mar-mar!"

"Sasha."

"We've been bad friends, we know that. And we're sorry! Right Anne?! We're super sorry! We'll do better! We-we can be friends again we're your friends we're friends please tell me you know that please Marcy please-"

"Sasha!"

Anne grabs Sasha's hands to stop her rambling. The blonde snaps out of her rant, cheeks covered in tears. She looks up at Anne's face, then down at Marcy's scared and confused expression.

"Anne why... why is she not... why doesn't she recognise us?? What's going on??"

"I don't know. I don't know Sasha."

Sasha tries to answer, but she simply bursts into tears as the pressure from everything gets to her.

Marcy swallows hardly and squeaks :

"I'm sorry... I... I really don't know you guys. I'm sorry..."

"It's ok Marcy. Don't worry, it's not your fault. It's alright."

It's not.

It's not alright. Her friend is gone, and Anne can't help but feel it's her fault, in some way. Maybe, just maybe, if she had been kinder and more attentive to Marcy, then none of this would have happened. If she had been better, Marcy wouldn't have forgotten them.

Anne tries to hold back tears, but she can't help it and starts sobbing as well, holding her face in her hands.

The amnesic girl sits here, watching these two strangers cry so hard about this "Marcy". She tries to think as hard as she can, tries to find something familiar about these two, but her mind feels blank, and focusing too hard makes her head hurt. So, she just sits here, hugging her legs and hiding her face in her knees, unaware of the single tear rolling on her cheek.

tbh i that doesn’t usually happen a lot, i slow to follow someone and largely follow leftists when i do. the times i have i think usually have been antisemitism that they refuse to back down from when asked about. like bro cmon you’re a leftist have a little self reflection and thoughtful listening and research like when you listen to every other minority group

5. worst discord server and why

the server where i was told when i was exploring an au where i made a canon cis male character into a trans butch woman and was told that cis male and trans butch lesbian genders are the same type of masculinity and thus i was perpetuating toxic masculinity 😎 it was a hot fucking mess and stupid as hell i left like two weeks later and found my people elsewhere

second place goes to the server that needed you to go to a secondary verification server to show your real government id and face on the internet to prove that you were 18+ that’s sketchy as hell on several levels, but mostly i feel sad for the people who are so paranoid about accusations of pedophilia they’re going to let their name, address and real photo on the internet to avoid the toxic & paranoid environment antis have created. just make a private server and limit who joins so you can all share brain rot in peace and happiness not every server needs to have thousands of members and BNF mods.

also i think it imploded for unrelated reasons a few days ago.

freaky fungi fact : entomopathogenic fungi !!

entomopathogenic fungi are fungi that can kill or seriously disable insects.

this group of fungi lives in the soil & infects insects by penetrating their bodies to feed on them, & eventually kill them. they are sorted into five divisions (ascomycota, zygomycota, deuteromycota, oomycota & chytridiomycota), each with their own properties.

they have a big impact on insect population dynamics in soil.

there are currently over 800 different entomopathogenic fungi that have been identified.

with every broad category, there's bound to be subcategories, right? imps (not the fiend folio kind) are a kind of true demon (and on the note of subcategories, i feel it's worth it to mention that tainted judas is technically a cambion)!

Buried under some of the most extensive and dynamic sand dunes in Scotland are the sites of prehistoric settlements. Here the sand has claimed land once used by hunter gatherers.
