It's wet and rainy today, so I'll be cooking today and staying indoors to keep warm and dry :)

I'm cooking some acorn and delicata/jester squash in the oven for making noodles and soup broth.

I'll be taking the seeds from both to make some seeds snacks.

Frybread is in the making and I started some pork loin in green sauce In the crockpot~

Breakfast will be made soon. A lovely scrambled eggs (from our hens), chopped jalapeno and a lil shredded cheddar. Plus a leftover chopped seasoned potato (I like to make extra when I cook them for supper so we have quick fried potatos in the morning:) )

Something I love about Leo is that, canonically, he IS capable of cooking, he’s just completely incapable of using a toaster. He’s banned from the kitchen not out of an inability to make edible food, but because being within six feet of a toaster causes the poor appliance to spontaneously combust.

Indicators of cooking skills

I’ve made this research based on the charts of famous Chefs around the world and also from people that I've done readings for. Most of them had these aspects in common.

Asteroid Cook in 2nd ,4th ,5th house or in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo. Now asteroid Cook it’s a good indicator to see if you like cooking or if you are going to make a career in this area. I’ll make a separate post about him soon but as something that I noticed this asteroid can pe quite prominent in the charts of chefs. Taurus, Cancer and Virgo for me all have an importance when it’s about cooking, I’ll put Virgo as someone that’s more into clean cooking, non-toxic cooking, Taurus as a more high end cooking skills and Cancer as more comfort food.  Houses 2 & 4 and ruled by Taurus and Cancer and the 5th house it adds creativity when it comes to showing off the plates (I would see here someone that has very spectacular arrangements)

The Moon, Venus, Mars or Jupiter in 2nd, 4th ,6th house. I do think this one and the next are pretty obvious why they can indicate cooking skills, since The moon & Venus are ruled by Taurus and cancer same goes for the 2nd and 4th house. Mars and Jupiter can add that fiery creative energy and being more spicy, also the 6th house it's related to health and ruled by Virgo. I 've seen some interesting charts regarding the chefs that prefer an ethical way of cooking having heavy 6th house. ( Me included, love to cook but I do have an obsession with clean and healthy eating, Jupiter in the 6th in Scorpio).

The Moon, Venus, Mars or Jupiter in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo

Taurus, Aries or Leo NN – well cooking it’s all about fire and I’ve seen quite a few charts with prominent fire NN or taurus, again being a chef means being a leader as well most of the times and being part of a team or leading a team)

Asteroid Ceres conjunct personal planets or in the 1st house. This asteroid does speak about our nurturing side and that includes how we eat and cook. It’s quite a good indicator for producing your own ingredients and also cooking with them.

Scorpio or Capricorn energy to the chart (Top chefs of the world have Scorpio asc, moon or stellium, Capricorn moon or Jupiter). I this this aspect has to do more with the ambitious at being the best in your field and also with leadership position, there is no surprise that these signs appeared often on the chefs that have Michelin stars.

The voice of your Not Brother keeping you afloat #All three of these parallels make me unbelievably sad. They are also both purple. One thing they don't tell you about the Senshi tulpa that WILL inevitably manifest in your mind to tell you to eat better is that. Every time I make myself a coffee via kuerig instantly, I can hear him. Lamenting the fact that I have become so accustomed to convenience and ease that even a standard coffee machine has become foreign to me. I am thinking about how to make coffee without use of a machine in the first place, I am wondering where my french press went, I can see him. In my mind. Showing me how to make coffee in The Dungeon. People get weird about calling the doctor either smart or stupid under the tenuous logic of either 'they're a genius, of course they're not stupid look at the things they do!' or 'look at this stupid brain-dead thing the doctor did! they have no brain cells whatsoever' and manage to avoid realising that the smartest people in the world are also the stupidest and the stupidest people in the world also can be pretty damn smart as well.

The doctor is a moron, totally devoid of brain cells. Also a genius. It depends on what metric of intelligence you're using. They can be both of these things at once without it being even slightly contradictory.
