Hi! I was trying to find out recently what it's called when you repeat a word to modify its meaning, e.g. "Do you like him, or do you LIKE like him?" Or "Are we going out or are we going out out?" and I failed to find an answer! Just wondered if you might have come across this?

Yesssss I wrote a huge essay on this once!!! It’s called contrastive focus reduplication and there’s a super famous linguitics paper on it called the Salad Salad Paper which if you’re a massive nerd like me is a super fun read and I recommend it!!
