this thesis literally better meet her standards this time it has everything it's formalist with a dash of deconstruction it incorporates my research into the occult i can fold in a quick comparison to the end of her favorite woolf novel (dalloway) it even includes my original (REJECTED !) idea of exploring bernard and authorship as divine creativity. if she says no to it literally don't know what i'll do

ok. i finally finished trigun 98.
that. Sure Was Something. it's rly interesting to see how the end of 98 compares to what nightow did in trimax. there are some similarities of course, but overall it felt really... simplified in comparison.
my final verdict is that Yeah trimax is still my fav trigun iteration, but by itself trigun 98 is a pretty emotionally fulfilling anime

If you are a teen drama with a definitive Main Character you can't have a 5-7 person main friendgroup in season one. You only have 10 episodes and 20% of each one is dedicated to party scenes, you have GOT to streamline some of these characters babes.

apparently rumors are surfacing that answer is dlc
Tumblr media
Yeah...yup.......that's what I was referring to.
Happy to have Metis back but....................................................................................... the DLC still pisses me off. Like I'm torn.
Do I buy it because that's what Atlus WANTS me to do? And it's what will get me maybe FeMC or other stuff?
Or do I boycott it, but Atlus will be like "oh they don't want the item" and I'll continue to not have said item.
I'm fucking screwed either way.

A family of his own.
The thought never occurred to Simon, not when his duty has always been to his country and the queen. A clean-cut soldier through and through, an attack dog, in a way; yet you managed to break down the walls he spent years carefully crafting to protect his peace, walking into his heart as if it was your God-given right. Settling comfortably into his heart, making a home in it, invading his every thought no matter how hard he tried to kick you out of his head.
It wasn't the lack of trying that caused his situation, but rather your persistence. He could push you away as much as he'd like and you still clung to him like a barnacle, refusing to move, merging into his shell to the point his whole self was more yours than his. His heart was yours to seek shelter in, his mind empty and ready to be occupied by you, his body kept clean and healthy for your soft lips to kiss all over, his cock hard and leaking, always ready for you to ride and suck.
He was too pussy-drunk and in love to even care when you suggested to do it raw, seeing it as an honor rather than an action that would have consequences, yet how could he think clearly when your wet cunt was wrapped around him, your pretty tits bouncing up and down while you ride his hard cock? God fuckin' bless Newton.
He knows what exactly caused this— how every single time he was close, his warm hands wrapped around the curve of your waist, holding you in place while he drilled into you; making sure your orgasm hit first before he kept thrusting into that sweet spot, hips stuttering while his hot, white seed spilled into you.
And what did he learn? Absolutely nothing new. Actions have consequences, he knew that much, and he truly wasn't surprised when the sweet thing he had waiting for him at home delivered the news with a letter, pretty handwriting adorning the white paper with something that would change his entire life. Pregnant, she said.
He spent many restless nights thinking about it, but surprisingly, not a single second was put into thinking how to get out of it. No, the thought of you getting pregnant was carved into his brain since the first time you suggested doing it raw, fully aware of the consequences, yet never giving it too much thought as your warm walls wrapped around him always numbed his brain.
Pregnant, he thought, seeming fond of the idea rather than conflicted. Simon was financially stable, had his mental health under control, was too professional and damn good at what he did to ever even get himself injured, yet he found himself putting even more care at being the Ghost, never wanting to come home to you with even a scratch, and he managed for thirty-nine long weeks.
Every single time he saw you, you looked even more lovely, full belly growing even larger and rounder, a protective hand always over your own stomach. The image always melted his heart, making him fall even more in love when his warm hand was laid over your stomach, applying soft pressure until he could feel the little bugger kick away underneath his palm.
"Lovely girl s'gonna come out ready to chuck a bloody grenade." His gaze softened when he heard your laugh, his hand doing nothing other than provoking the little one to keep moving and kicking, completely enamored by the sight of his fiancée resting in his arms in bed, cuddling her up and keeping her safe from the world.
The thought of having a family never occurred Simon, yet he was so ready to welcome his little girl into the world and break the cycle once and for all.

How To Accurately Describe Pain In Writing
Tumblr media
Pain can be an interesting emotion to write about. It gives authors the liberty to merge their character’s emotions and surroundings to create beautiful metaphors and graphic descriptions that draw their readers in and convey their character’s struggles. However, if done wrongly reading your descriptions of pain can feel like a chore to your readers. Unsure how to accurately describe pain in your writing? Here are some tips to help you get started.
Use The Five Senses
As humans, we possess five senses that dictate our reactions to the world around us. When writing, it is important to use these five senses rather than just relying on what your character can see. Talk about the sound, the smell, the taste, and even the feeling.
If your character just got burnt, talk about the sound of sizzling flesh and the slight numbness they feel. Mention the terrible smell of burnt flesh, and make your character feel dizzy with fear as their eyes finally land on the horrific wound.
Internal bleeding makes people spit blood and taste iron and partially healed wounds feel itchy and irritant.
There is so much more to pain than what you see, and simply talking about your character’s wounds isn’t nearly enough to make your readers wince in second-hand pain. In fact, they are more likely to skim your passages in boredom.
Show your readers what your character is experiencing, and then go on to describe their reaction to this situation.
Build It Up, Then Break It Down
Pain doesn’t just suddenly come from nowhere. It starts with something small, blossoms, and then spreads. Your character won’t just suddenly get a third-degree burn the size of a baseball by leaning against a hot steel wall for the briefest of seconds. It starts with a light reddish-brown mark, then darkens, maybe even blisters.
You can’t go from 0 to 100 in one sentence. You need to build it up and show your readers how your character’s pain was found. Then, break it down.
Pain doesn’t come from nowhere, but it doesn’t suddenly disappear either. Show us how your character’s wound heals. Does the wound mark from where they hurt their knee turn into an ugly brown shade for a couple of weeks? Do their burns gradually fade from red to pink, or turn darker?
It’s important to show your readers the aftermath of your character’s pain. A character who just had a bullet pulled out of their shoulder with a hot knife can’t suddenly just jump up and start firing at the enemy with perfect aim.
You don’t need to overdo it and constantly mention their wounds during the healing stage, but something as simple as ‘her bandages uncomfortably scratched at her back every time she lifted her hand to eat’ or ‘his fingers subconsciously shifted to run over the remains of his burn mark even as his eyes remained trained on the blackboard’ will suffice.
How Does This Affect Your Character?
Physical pain aside, wounds can also have an effect on your character’s dynamics with others as well as your plot.
It’s important to take into account how they got this wound, how the other characters might react to it, and internalised conflict caused by it. Maybe your character injured their fingers during a game of volleyball and now they’re staring at their final exam paper with tears of frustration brimming their waterline because it hurts too much to write.
Maybe your protagonist suffered a small burn while sneaking out to go to their friend’s house and their parent or mentor saw it. Or maybe your protagonist won against the antagonist but suffered a grave injury to their legs and now cannot fight during the next confrontation, resulting in a chaotic outbreak at their headquarters.
Think about the internal as well as the external damage your character’s wounds can cause, and then use that as a plot device to further your book.
Do Your Research
It’s very important to accurately portray your character’s level of pain and consider whether or not they would realistically incur such injuries from such a wound. When writing about a character’s wound or pain consider doing some research about that type of wound.
Here are some things you need to check when researching the wound type:
How much blood would they loose with this type of wound?
What are the side effects?
Could this be fatal?
How long will it take to heal?
How long does it take for a wound to get to that extent? (for example, if you’re writing about a third-degree burn, research what it takes for a burn to be considered third-degree).
What are the major veins, arteries, and other important body parts in that part of the character’s body? For example, if your character is supposed to be injured on their arm but it’s not supposed to be serious, you need to consider whether the wound could realistically have ruptured their radial artery, resulting in death.
Will there be any scarring? What about any long-lasting wound marks?
You could also take a look at historical events similar to the one you’re writing. For example, if you’re writing about an assassination attempt consider researching the most historically renowned assassination techniques.
It’s also a good idea to ask your families and friends about their experiences with the type of wound you’re writing about (so long as it’s not a sensitive topic). Maybe you have a cousin who suffered a third-degree burn once or a classmate who has a scar from a graphic wound across their arm.

Malleus book recommendations (⚠️ Warning: Adult novels)
Are you a MalleYuu simp? Are you tired of their endless pining that never goes anywhere? Are you frustrated and just want the Yuu♀️ to bed the Malleus? Well you're in luck because I've sacrificed my sanity to comb through heaps of trash just to feed my brethren's delusions!
If your fave is his temper tantrum: Rurik - The WitchSlayer. This is only one book, but very cute and satisfying. Not very heavy on the plot; more on a fantasy slice of life between a dragon shifter and a sweet part-dragon witch.
If your favorite is the playful in Malleus: Rhysand - A Court of Thorns and Roses Series. Note: Do not stop reading until you get to Book 2, at least. It's the actual start of the series.
If you like both Malleus and Silver and want to merge them into one person: Creon - Fae Isles Series. IMO the best out of all of them.
If you like Evil Malleus: Valroy - Maze of Shadows Series. From the most well-written book out of all of them, but requires the most open mind. This is a dark novel with an evil hero. When I say evil, he is EVIL.
Some rankings below:
Note that all of these are personal preferences.
Ranking the best boys:
1. CREON (Fae Isles). He's THE best hero out of all romance books I've read so far. He's complex. He's devilish. He's thoughtful. He has a unique feature about him that no one else possesses. You'll understand.
2. Rurik (The WitchSlayer). He's annoying, has a bad temper, grumpy most of the time, but he's very cute. He's a literal dragon. He's also smart and actually thinks things through to actively resolve misunderstandings because he understands that feelings can muddle the truth.
3. Rhysand (A Court of Thorns and Roses). He's perfect. That's all. Sometimes a bit too perfect, but he's much better than many fictional male leads.
4. Valroy (Maze of Shadows). This does not mean he stinks. He's literally just extremely evil, which in itself makes him very interesting and better than most cookie cutter heroes.
All of them are great characters. They're the main reasons why you would read these novels.
Ranking the stories:
1. Fae Isles. Its magic system is unique. A lot of it is unique. Just excellent all around and definitely my favorite.
2. Maze of Shadows. DARK romance. Toxic. But very interesting and a refreshing read for those who have the strength to stomach it and remind themselves that this is only fiction.
3. The WitchSlayer. Just a one-shot so you can't expect much, but its pacing is unique in that the conflict resolves fairly early, leaving enough room to tackle what happens after the big bad evil has been defeated. It also has a cute epilogue! Definitely read this if you only have time for one of these. You won't regret the sweet dragon moments, both in his tiny form and his giant form.
4. A Court of Thorns and Roses. I generally just enjoyed it for Rhysand tbh.
Do you know other stories with Malleus clones? Let me know because I need it 👀

If you want to run a Court of Fey & Flowers Game, dnd isn't what you need
...because it's not what the Dimension 20 cast played, either.
I talked about this a little bit once before, very early in the season, but now that it's done, it's really clear to me that they played Good Society by Storybrewers with a few Dungeons & Dragons elements hacked in, not the other way around. Aabria Iyengar loves Good Society, and it really shows. She merged the systems really beautifully to suit the expectations of D20, and that's why I think players at home will get a better experience by starting with GS materials than by trying to reverse engineer the mechanics Iyengar showed in action.
Things they got from DnD:
-Skill levels/stats.
-Rolling dice to determine success.
-The game master/facilitator (Aabria) playing most characters.
-Some creatures and spells (the dog that has an old man's face, the telepathy spell I can never remember the name of).
-Aabria giving out Inspiration.
Things they got from Good Society:
-The principle of having a character goal that may be kept secret. (In fact, some of D20's specific goals were probably even chosen from Good Society materials. The player character with a secret spouse? There's a card for that.)
-Social reputation tracked by degrees, conferring descriptions and perks. (They did not use GS's exact system. Whether it was a hack or a mix with a game system I haven't played, I don't know.)
-Trading tokens that can be burned to make strong moves. (Again, not GS's exact mechanic--GS uses tokens throughout instead of dice. That game lets you decide what your character is capable of. Tokens make sure everyone has fair chances to act, especially when players have conflicting goals.)
-Additional guidelines and mechanics for agreeing on how the table wants social events to work, as well as how to navigate the varying dynamics of relatives, friends, and rivals.
-Rumors and epistolary phases. (There's a fun post going around about Brennan asking about these because "he wanted to get a good grade in dnd," but I think he was sincerely curious how they worked, because they aren't dnd!)
-The overall cycle of play, dictating the order of phases and pace.
-Some mechanics for the reputations and interactions of fae courts as entities were taken from Good Society's Fae Courts mini-expansion.
-Monologue tokens. (D20 has Aabria as the only one who can use these, GS allows anyone in the game to ask someone to monologue.)
-Additional guidelines for determining world state, character creation, and keeping the story within a consistent style and tone that feels like a recognizably Regency story...even when giant owlbears can get gay married.
-Other flavoring and approach details.
Things Good Society has that Dimension 20 didn't get to show off:
-The ability for players to also choose a secondary character to control, allowing them to participate in more roleplay and experience multiple personalities or social roles in the same game.
-A really rich and thoughtful collaboration phase, before the story begins.
-The ability to share facilitator duties among the table, and to allow the facilitator to play a main character as well as supporting cast.
-Advice and expansions for adjusting the game to various tones, genres, and other historical periods.
So you're looking at buying Good Society:
What you need is pdfs. Definitely grab the base game for $21.00, that has most of what I just described. If you're excited to see their Fae Court specific materials, it's included in the Expanded Acquaintance bundle with many other pieces of content, or there's a bundle of the base game and every expansion they've produced. You do not need to buy the more expensive bundles that include physical books and cards unless professional physical versions delight you, the pdfs are designed to be printable. Storybrewers also made and provide spreadsheet templates for sessions meeting online, so you can all see your worksheet choices.
Good Society is a really fun and flexible system, and it's most of what we loved about how A Court of Fey and Flowers was structured. It's your best route to a recreation, and well worth playing in its original form. I love that it doesn't have stats and dice--if you've never played a ttrpg that doesn't make you do math, this is a great introduction. I'm so glad Aabria featured it on the show!

Full Moon
Ok so I don’t normally post about Helluva Boss but the newest episode touched on an interesting concept I haven’t necessarily seen represented in media. Back when I was on Twitter (derogatory) a few years ago there was this now deleted viral thread where someone discussed how their struggles with mental health affected their relationship with their partner and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
Tumblr media
This is such a good, short example of how anxiety and depression can play tricks on you. It becomes so easy to envision yourself as a nuisance, a constant burden to those closest to you because they cannot possibly genuinely enjoy your company, right? But in doing so you create this arbitrarily cruel version of the people you love, people who would otherwise never behave like this outside of your own mind.
Tumblr media
It's mean. Because your mind wants to be mean to you under these circumstances. It wants to put everyone else's emotions and desires above yours, both in worthiness and validity. And that starts bleeding into your understanding of other people, especially those you care about.
Now. Helluva Boss.
"Can I get a fucking MINUTE to think after everything you put me through you pompous rich ASSHOLE? Treat me like one of your little butler imps, you can’t just dismiss me like that! I mean, you royal fucks think you can do this every time, like you can just play with our feelings because we’re smaller and not as important. Well I’m not letting you, BITCH! Let’s go!" - Blitz
I find it really interesting how Helluva Boss decided to approach this conflict between Stolas and Blitz. Obviously, the difference in power matters. It's the underlying tension of their entire relationship and their lives. Stolas is burdened by the mountain of expectations thrust upon him from a very young age while Blitz is constantly reminded that he can NEVER be part of that world, that he is "smaller and not as important" not just in Hell's hierarchy but in his own life and family. Stolas very literally has power over Blitz (through the grimoire, the arrangement, his position in society) and Blitz uses their relationship as an excuse to reverse those roles. But that power dynamic, in one form or another, never truly goes away. And for Blitz, it's a lot easier to paint Stolas as this manipulative symbol of power and himself as nothing more than Stolas' plaything. It's easier to be angry than to be vulnerable and accept that someone might care about him.
"Dismiss" is the keyword in that quote. All that Blitz has been able to process is that Stolas has decided to end the relationship that they have. He feels ls like a choice has been taken away from him so he lashes out because he's not ready to emotionally tackle what the rest of Stolas' offer might entail. If Stolas hates him, just wants to play with him, then he is justified in his anger, his self-destruction, his isolation. If the world is mean, you're "allowed" to be mean back.
But
Tumblr media
In that moment he forgets that Stolas is someone he actually cares about. Someone he's known for way too long and clearly wants to keep in his life, no matter how reluctant he can be to admit it. Someone who is not innately cruel or manipulative but sad and desperate for connections in a lot of the same ways that Blitz is. And Blitz immediately sees that he's miscalculated something.
Tumblr media
Somewhere along the way the fictional version of Stolas that he's allowed himself to be mad at and the real one that he's not ready to admit he cares about have merged into something real that he has actual power over. Stolas can get hurt and Blitz can be the one who does it. He has once again allowed his greatest fears (which Stolas so frequently symbolizes) to co-opt his loved ones, to give him an "out" even though he didn't actually want one in the first place.
I'm definitely not the first person to say this but I think this is an example of the miscommunication trope done right. Their individual struggles are what cause them to be unable to connect during this conversation or to even have a proper conversation in the first place. There is no convenient misunderstanding or third party fabricating this rift. Both of them have preconceived ideas of what the other one is thinking but those ideas are flawed and rooted in self-hatred. They also both shutdown in their unique ways when the conversation starts heading in the direction they'd feared it would.
Blitz and Stolas work because they're both fucked up in similar ways, because they want similar things. That's the same reason why they're uniquely designed to hurt one another. A fear of rejection and a yearning for happiness. To borrow a quote that has been used by literally everyone from Spiderman to Evangelical preachers, "hurt people hurt people."
Tumblr media
anyway, I really liked this episode.

Soft Haarlep Prt. 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Request For Haarlep Anon: A continuation for “Soft Haarlep” where Haarlep discovers they can’t stop watching or thinking about Tav/You. You’ve gone and tainted their mind, but why? Love is a foreign concept when it comes to Haarlep’s kind… or is it?
Pairings: Haarlep x Tav/You | Raphael x Tav/You

Tumblr media
Haarlep’s gaze was fixed upon you with an intensity that was both predatory and peculiarly tender. As a creature of the infernal realm, love was an elusive concept, foreign to their kind. Incubus, born of desire and darkness, their very essence woven with the threads of temptation and seduction. They are not known for the depth of their sentiments, for their purpose is to allure and to take, to drain vitality in the pursuit of their own sustenance. Yet, against all odds, Haarlep’s thoughts were consumed by you, the mortal who had unknowingly captured Haarlep’s attention. The mere sight of you, bearing the bruises inflicted by Raphael, stirred conflicting emotions within them...
Haarlep’s tail flickered restlessly as they lay on the bed, arms crossed, their eyes barely visible through the veil of their red arms. Haarlep couldn't tear their gaze away from your figure as you discarded the robe that had hid your body as you entered the bath. Their nature commanded them to approach, to ensnare, to feast upon your delectable body. To thrust their cock deep within you drawing out the life force as sustenance for days unending, it was a hunger that gnawed at their being with the tenacity of a primal instinct.
Yet another sentiment, foreign and unsettling, sparked within the darkness of Haarlep’s chest. It was a whisper of a feeling, a growing sense of urgency to protect, to cover you with their own corporeal shield from any further harm… To protect the body they so wished to keep for themselves. Those bruises that marked your neck, they were not just marks upon your flesh; they were thoughts that kindled a respect and a strange yearning within him to preserve, rather than to plunder… This was leaving Haarlep perplexed and yearning for something they believed to be beyond their grasp.
Why did you taint their mind? Why did your presence linger in their thoughts, refusing to be banished? Haarlep’s duty was to serve Raphael, to revel in the twisted dance of desire and wickedness.
As Haarlep watched you soak, your scars were a testament to the pain you had endured. The temptation to unleash their power, or perhaps even twisting a tale to bring Mephistopheles here to consume Raphael, to whisk you away wherever, was an alluring path. But how could they, a creature of lust, protect you from the very hands that bound them?
Another unfamiliar sensation clutched at them… Fear. For Haarlep knew that it would come at a grave price. Raphael was a selfish man, and he would make damn sure to take you with him if his life were to flash before his very eyes. Because if the Devil himself couldn’t have you, then no one shall…
Your voice was barely above a whisper, "Haarlep, are you not sore after everything?" concern lacing your voice, a testament to the depth of your empathy.
A bittersweet smile played upon Haarlep's lips, their tail flicked again with a blend of irritation and amusement. Their existence as an incubus, the boundaries between pain and pleasure blurred, merging into a twisted symphony. However, they understood that for you, Raphael’s mortal little mouse, the pain inflicted upon you was an entirely different ordeal.
"It is not the same for me, my little dove," Haarlep spoke softly, their voice tinged with laughter. "While my physical form may bear similar scars of our shared suffering, it is but twisted into pleasure, the very thing that feeds me.” Haarlep chuckles with disappointment, “even if it is not satisfactory.” Their smile twisted into a frown, Haarlep could only imagine how they’d feel if it were you beneath them instead of Raphael… Oh how they knew they’d be satisfied then.
You sank deeper into the bath, “I see.” Is all you said before allowing the water to consume half your face.
Removing themselves from Raphael’s bed, Haarlep moved closer towards where you lay in the bath. They were all too aware of the dangers that lurked in the wake of pleasure- if they were to be caught again meddling with Raphael’s little mouse, caught in a forbidden affair, your body would be at risk once more… You were Raphael's, a treasure not to be tampered with by the likes of an incubus servant. Yet, the very thought of another's claim on you sparked a silent, seething defiance in Haarlep's chest.
But, if Haarlep simply sunk in behind you to bathe you… The thought coaxed a sly smile upon their lips. Haarlep could mask their true intentions, if they were to slip behind you, under the pretense of bathing your body, they could cloak their longing in duty. Their hands could roam freely under the guise of grooming, preparing you for Raphael, the master of the house as any obedient incubus should.
The steam from the bath cloaked Haarlep’s approach, a veil of mist parting to reveal you, the object of their forbidden musings. Perhaps they could sate this gnawing hunger without crossing the line that would see both-… you punished…
A dangerous game, yet Haarlep was no stranger to danger. As they lowered themselves into the bath behind you, the water embraced them, a willing accomplice to their ruse. The sound of your breath hitching sends a delighted shiver down Haarlep’s spine, “Haarlep… Y-you can-”
“Shhh, little dove. I am only but bathing you.” Their hand strokes your hair, “You do wish to look your best for my brat don’t you?” With a gentle touch that defied their infernal essence, Haarlep’s hands sought you out, amidst the flowing water, their presence both evident and elusive.
Haarlep moved with caution, every gesture appearing as mere servitude, while secretly relishing the forbidden thrill of contact. Tracing paths along your arms with a feigned professionalism that masked their true intent. The heat of your body seeped into them, a warmth they felt not only on their skin but deep within the recesses of their being.
The sensation of your back against their chest was a symphony of temptation, each note played upon the strings of their self-control. Their fingers, laced with the power of an incubus' touch, danced a delicate line between what was required of them and what they yearned for…
Tumblr media
You felt Haarlep's tail graze around your leg, the slight scrape of their claws trailing a path down your arms... Their breath, a warm caress on your neck. A lump formed in your throat, every sensation Haarlep stirred forced an internal moan. Awareness of their true nature did little to quell your emotions; revealing your feelings seemed futile. Yet, in this moment, an inner voice urged you to turn within the circle of Haarlep's arms, to press your lips to theirs. To confess your willingness to risk everything, to embrace whatever consequences with Raphael might come, for the sake of a single kiss.
You weren’t sure when these newfound emotions began to stir within you, perhaps it was due to Haarlep always being in the same room as you. Or maybe it was the comfort their body gave off the night they laid with you before Raphael…
As you layin the tub in the embrace of an incubus, every sense was heightened. The texture of their skin brushed against your skin with an intimacy that spoke of a shared secrecy, a connection unspoken yet palpable. You could feel Haarlep’s “devoted servitude” facade fade as they moved with a predatory grace that was all at once alarming and alluring.
The room seemed to contract, with the walls inching closer, as if to push you further into Haarlep's space. The air was thick with tension, a silent orchestra that played to the rhythm of your beating hearts. Their gaze held yours as you turned your head to catch a glimpse of them. A mix of danger and desire reflecting in their eyes, a mirror to your own conflicted emotions.
The silence was a living thing, broken only by the occasional sound of your breathing and the water that stirred. You were acutely aware of Haarlep's strength, the power in their formidable frame, yet there was a gentleness in their touch that belied their fearsome appearance.
Swallowed by the moment, you considered the consequences of your next action. Raphael's shadow loomed in your thoughts, a reminder of the promised future that you were bound to— an arrangement that felt increasingly like a steel cage as Haarlep's proximity tempted you to rebel against it.
The thought of a kiss, one fleeting moment of rebellion, was both terrifying and tantalizing. It promised the sweet taste of forbidden fruit, the ecstasy of indulging in what was meant to remain untouched. In your mind's eye, you played out the scenario…
But in that suspended moment, with Haarlep's enigmatic aura enveloping you, the world outside the cocoon of your shared space ceased to exist. There was just the two of you, the question of 'what if' hanging unspoken between you, a siren call to what could be the most exhilarating or devastating choice of your life.
You turned in Haarlep’s arms, now poised between their thighs, your one hand resting on their shoulder while another urge guided your free one to touch their cheek. Your gaze fixed on their lips, noting the absence of a once present cut, and without a conscious thought, your thumb brushed across Haarlep’s lower lip.
As your thumb traced the smoothness of Haarlep's healed lip, their response was subtle. A barely perceptible parting of their lips, an invitation that sent a shiver of eagerness down your spine. You hesitated, aware that the step you were inching towards could not be taken back. The gravity of the moment weighed upon you; the understanding that this choice could alter your path irrevocably. Yet, the pull towards Haarlep was like a current too strong to resist.
Their hand found its way to your back, a light but anchoring touch, as if they too were caught in the same torrent of emotion. Their other hand rose, fingers tentatively brushing a strand of hair from your face, a gesture so tender it contrasted with the wild, untamed nature you knew them to possess.
In that silence, with your thumb still lingering on Haarlep's lip, you knew the decision had already been made, not by your mind, but by the yearning in your heart. You wanted nothing more than to close the gap and seal the confession of your soul with one simple kiss…

There's something just so romantic and domestic about Geode to me... Geo having to take care of his kids on his own, and then the universe literally drops the coolest, baddest husband he could ever imagine right on his doorstep one day. He's the dude who helped resolve the Geckle/Munce conflict that led to Geo being unwanted in the first place. He's the son of Lilly, whom Geo would've heard stories about.
And I love how Cole could've easily just moved on, because he needs to find his fellow ninja for like. The greater good or whatever. But he can't just leave anyone behind, especially people who are forgotten for whatever 'justifications' are offered. That's why Cole's a hero, because no innocent lives are acceptable as sacrifices. He's a bleeding heart who cares too much to look past it, he promised his mother to stand up to those who are cruel and unjust, for those who are hurt and downtrodden. He will always consider the little guy.
Just imagine Cole making that decision, announcing it to the finders that he's going to stay. Imagine Geo's reaction. Imagine Geo not letting himself get too attached at first because he'll be gone, and then he hangs around after all. Cole didn't know how long he'd be here but ninja never quit, as long as there's people in danger he owes it to them to help, even if it kills him.
The domestic vibes of them looking after the kids together, watching them, coordinating the family. The fact that the land of lost things always has this perpetual romantic sunset going on. It's just them, their kids, and this rampaging death machine that is technically the reason they got together in the first place, because without it Cole might've continued with his journey.
And you think Geo was just a little bit worried when it was 'over', when Sora and Nya helped to resolve that issue. Cole had no more reason to stay and protect them, plus he even has a new call to action from his old master! Back to being a hero, back to the times before them. At least there's no rampaging death machine anymore, and Geo chides himself for being selfish, he should be grateful his kids are safe and Cole is reunited with his REAL family...
AND THEN HE COMES BACK!!! COLE COMES BACK AND REMEMBERS!!! He knows what it's like to be lost and forgotten, or at least feel that way, so he'll never forget.
Man, out of all of the ninja who got scattered in the Merge, Cole's whereabouts feel the most satisfying and fleshed out, the way they tie back to his character arc and themes and motifs, his past, everything. Zane was in The Egg, Jay was with the Administration (which IS interesting but also a new development), Kai and Nya had their own things and Lloyd struggled to be the lone ninja, which is also fitting. But with Cole, it just feels all so right and even a way to end off his character's decade-plus arc, I love it. You can tell the writers really care about Cole.

Tumblr media
Warning: this post contains yandere-themes, including delusional behaviors, mentions of murder, and other potential topics. Please read at your own risk! Reader Implied To Be Capable Of Carrying A Child
Yandere!Diluc would feel conflicted. He loves you, and while he was so excited to be a father, he isn’t sure how to feel about a child that isn’t his. Later that night you’ll find Diluc absent from bed, claiming he’s got things to attend to as the Darknight Hero. The following morning the real father of the child will turn up dead or missing. From there, he’ll do his best to parent the child as his own, gaslighting you both into believing that it really is his and that it’s just got his mother’s looks, despite him having no memory of the woman.
Yandere!Zhongli would be displeased, not only at the fact that you had slept with another person, but that you had kept it from him for so long. He wouldn’t outright go after the person, he holds himself to a higher standard than that, but he will find new housing for the child. When the child has been placed in a new family, one that you’ll never be able to see or hear from, he’ll begin the process of giving you a child of his own. One that you both can raise together, and he tightens down your security until he knows that it’s his this time.
Yandere!Pantalone wouldn’t even give it a second thought, passing the child off to either Dottore or Arlecchino for their respective positions. It isn’t his child, he doesn’t care for it. Though he will admit, he was looking forward to being a father. He’ll make sure whoever thought they could get away with knocking up his beloved is taken care of. And then, when he’s certain it’s just the two of you, he begins the process of creating a new child, and this time he keeps you with him at all times from the moment it begins until you give birth, ensuring that the baby is his.

everything about Gavriil feels suffocating.
how his presence alone can be almost overwhelming, how his massive body cages you everytime without a chance to escape. you wouldn't dare to try anyway, knowing that you don't even have a say against a creature of his caliber. he will find you. in your dreams, in your nightmares. in your room.
how he will be intense and vague about everything just for the sake of it; to confuse you further, to see the conflict of emotions in your eyes merge with arousal. eventually your hesitance turns into acceptance, a desperate need to feel his hands all over you. and he will be oh so grateful to fulfill that desire.
how his thick tongue pushes past your lips and into your mouth, reaching almost the back of your throat, relishing in the muffled little sounds you make. your drool mixed with his saliva drips down your chin, and your hazy eyes look up at him when he finally pulls away, giving you a second to breathe.
how his hips are slamming into you relentlessly, your wetness and lack of resistance allowing him to move almost effortlessly. forced to hold onto him for dear life instead of pushing away. all of your morals and principles are being tossed out of the window every single time he comes to you. he has you where he wants you, and will not stop until he feels like you can't take it anymore.
and how in the morning he vanishes away, leaving you guessing: was it just another wet dream? but the cold stickiness between your legs tells you more than you need to know.
