In Paper Mario: Color Splash, one particular sprite of the red Slurp Guy is extremely bizarre as it is saved as a graphic that is over 2500 pixels tall, consists of mostly empty space, and has the words "*mask_path" in the upper right corner. No other sprite in the game has unused empty space of this kind. Details in image.

do you pencil traditionally and then colour digitally, or do you just have a very convincing digital pencil brush? I really love the organic, sketchy feel of your work.
I always sketch and ink on paper first, then scan the piece and color it digitally.
