Summary:

Family holidays are made a bit awkward when you're always forced to be around the girl who cold-shouldered your "I love you" with a three-month bout of silence. But man is it even more so when there are not enough rooms for everyone at the hotel that was booked and you get stuck sharing a bed with that same sort of ex who is trying their very best to get back to the friendship that you once shared. None of it's that bad really, it's really easy to mold over the past, make things easy for each other since you'll see each other for every major family event.

Final Chapter for Hideaway - We've Got This

Raven walked back into her bedroom to gather her work bag, she left Anya to sleep when she woke up. After a nice weekend, Raven had a full week ahead of her and she wasn’t fully prepared, mentally at least.

“How do you feel about living with me, buying a home together?”

Raven jumped out of her skin, she thought Anya was fast asleep but nope, she was sitting upright cross-legged on the bed covers wearing nothing but her glasses with her laptop open.

Anya looked over her glasses and smirked, “edgy much?”

Raven stood upright and rolled her eyes, “yes, well, you had me up most of the night. I’m tired and running on ridiculous amounts of coffee.”

Anya smiled and still hadn’t had an answer to her first question, “You didn’t answer my question, little bird.”

Raven smiled bashfully, “I’d love that, but I really have to go and make some money.”

“Shall I look and send you links to them?” Anya asked as she typed away.

Raven rushed over to Anya and gave her a kiss, “Yes, now, I have to go or I’ll be late.”

Anya chuckled, “Okay, my bird. Have a good day.”

After almost 2 years and thanks to the comments of a reader, I will update my Clexa fic And We Meet Again soon. I was planning one big ass final long chapter, but that would just be the perfect excuse to delay it even longer. The final chapter (52) will be split into 2. I'm really nervous about this, it's been a long time, but I'm going to do this for this reader. I will always remark on the power of a nice, good-hearted comment. I would like to take this opportunity to ask everyone who reads fanfic to leave a comment, for the love of God! You have no idea how much influence and power it has on a writer. omg can you believe it i’m once again here to try and find a clexa fic i read forever ago

once again i don’t remember too much but i’ll give ya what i know.

okay so basically they can turn into wolves lol. i don’t recall whether it was an A/B/O fic or not. i think it starts off with clarke in the woods just drawing the scenery or some shit and she helps rescue a wolf? person? who was caught in i think a bear trap.

clarke, raven, octavia and all the other arkadians live in this big enclosed city. it’s very strict there and they all wear collars that are like stabbing into their necks (i remember that being a big no no with lexa) and if the disobeyed in any way they would be shocked. because of those collars (i’m like 99% sure on this) they can’t shift into their wolves. basically all the authority figures there are straight assholes.

i know that it was mentioned in the story with lexa and anya joking with each other that they’re older than clarke and raven by several years. obvi octavia and lincoln get together. i also remember that when all things turn out good and well lincoln and octavia have two or three cubs. maybbbbe raven and anya, i can’t entirely remember. and clarke and lexa have two named aden and madi.

i also remember this big scene where clarke and some others are trapped in cages (just like in the mount weather season of the show) and they’re being experimented on to i thinnnnnk find a way to full on get rid of the wolf gene and clarke full on LOSES her shit and shifts for the first time even with her collar on and i remember when they were running away from the city she had this whole jump scene over the main gates that was totally epic. clarke ends up staying in her wolf form for a while longer, i remember that being mentioned “because her wolf doesn’t know if she’s completely safe yet”.

there was also a lake/pond scene with i think a waterfall and it’s just the main guys just hanging out and splashing around. there was also like only one maybbbe two sex scenes in this story.

basically the city living people didn’t want to be wolves anymore because “it’s unnatural” and “below them” and they thought they could get rid of it but clarke and everyone on the outside beat some ass. dead people everywhere.

if there’s anything that could relate to this story please please pleaseeee let me know. it’s been eating me alive to find it. it was one of the first clexa fics i read and i want to relive it. thank you!!

“You passed!”

Clarke's restless pacing comes to an abrupt halt, her hand dropping from her mouth where she had been nervously biting the cuticle on her thumb.  Her eyes lock on Raven, sitting on the couch, peering over her laptop and beaming with pride. Raven turns the screen around so she can see for herself. In a heavy exhale, Clarke releases the breath she didn’t know she was holding. “I passed.”

Slumping onto the couch beside Raven, Clarke rakes her fingers through her hair. She takes a moment to let it sink in before a wry chuckle escapes her lips. “Holy shit.”

Raven’s excitement wavers when she sees the conflict etched on her friend's face. “What’s up, Griff?” She sets the laptop aside and pivots to face Clark. “For someone who just slayed the MCATs, you don’t seem very happy about it.” 

Clarke sighs. “I’m happy.” 

Raven raises an eyebrow. “I think your face missed the memo, buddy.” 

Sitting up, Clarke rubs the sudden tiredness from her eyes. “I mean, I’m relieved and glad it’s over, I guess. I still love medicine and want to help people, but it all seems so final now , you know? I just don’t want to be looking back twenty years from now, thinking ‘what-if.’”

“Are you worried about Skaikru? And if that’s the case, don’t be. They all knew what they were getting into. Nobody expects you to bail on medical school just to keep hanging out in Bellamy’s garage and sneaking into practice rooms.”

A flicker of a smile twitches on the edges of her lips as she remembers her last venture to the music building and her entirely new motivation to keep up her criminal activities. Clarke forces herself to stay in the moment. “I know.” She stands up, snapping the laptop closed more forcefully than she intended. Her voice softens. “I’m just going to miss it, that’s all.”
