The older I get, the more I genuinely enjoy cleaning. But that's probably also because I'm better learning what cleaning products work and which aren't worth much.

I gotta say, I thought this would be overhyped but it wasn't. It's the first thing that's actually worked to get the rings up off the stove. I didn't get pictures of my bathroom before but it the shower is practically sparking. I flat out didn't know the safety rail was the color it actually is.

I genuinely had fun testing this out on stuff and would definitely recommend!

I know doing your own research is important but I really wish I could have someone I trust just tell me what vacuum I need. Like there’s so many articles about which is the best that are making a buck off the one they say is best, but I need a non affiliated source to say hey this one does what you need.

my new hair products

now that it has officially been 2 weeks of me using them, i can now proudly say that the new shampoo and conditioner i got actually ARE helping my hair adjust to the hard water in KY!

here are the products i have begun using (with links!), as well as how often i have been using them or plan to use them:

this scalp and hair mask i plan to use once a month! i used it once already and it was really nice. i’m not the biggest fan of peppermint scents, but this one isn’t too bad, and since i only use it once a month, it’s easy to deal with.

this clarifying shampoo i’ll be using once every other week! this shampoo i believe was the main factor in restoring my hair to its former glory, especially when coupled with the hair mask. when i use this, it will be as a substitute to my regular shampoo, not an addition.

this shampoo and conditioner pair are what i’ll be using regularly for my hair, and oh my god they smell HEAVENLY! they also help my hair get really soft again and the bottom half of my hair now isn’t all dead and dry. once i run out of my current body wash, i’ll definitely be looking to see if raw sugar has a body wash of the same or similar scent.

raw sugar also has so many other hygiene products, so i recommend checking them out if you’ve recently run out of anything or are going to soon and are looking for a switch!

TIL That the self-cleaning feature on an oven locks the door and turns it into a 1000° incinerator for 3 to 5 hours which turns any food remnants to f*cking ash.
