god. every time i watch tss/tps i forget they use the valiant to filter the air at one point. like 10 and martha look excited about it (probably masking INCREDIBLY hard holyshit. martha having to deal with unit using it as a weapon in the sky to fight back after she had to deal with a YEAR (that no one else at unit remembers!!!) of seeing it in the sky while it was being used to destroy everything and everyone around her.) and like. 10's made immediately aware that unit repurposed it for good so he understands what's happening but like. jack harkness. who is not usually working directly with unit. who is probably trying to figure out what the hell is going on while trying to keep his team safe bc he can come back from the poison so he's the only one out there. looking up. seeing the fucking valiant with NO OTHER EXPLANATION as to why the hell it's there. like. one of the (many) times you kinda wish dw was more than pg bc i would've killed to just have like. a reference to him or his reaction. martha getting a text from him that's just "WHAT THE FUCK"

jack harkness deserves to be able to drop the one f-bomb a season of a pg13 doctor who. he’s literally perfect for it. and goddd. jack and martha friendship that exists in my mind forever. i know they’re in contact, i know this. if only because Who Else can they talk to about half of this stuff. off-screen in my mind martha gets to call jack when everything is done, and he’s glad the poison is all gone, assumes the doctor did A Thing, but he’d really like some clarification on the valiant and also. maybe clone martha called him at some point to try and lure him out and eliminate him as a threat or something. which would be a fun thing for the two of them to deal with!

imagining martha on the phone with him explaining that the valiant is for unit’s use now. (in a way that’s like. she is trying to tell herself this is Fine, too.) explaining that she just died in her own arms in a way, and she has no idea how to process that. i think they should get to hang out and decompress together, i really do.

sorry this is a bit of a weird ask, but i've always wondered - does your twitter bio (the brightmyth one) have any particular meaning? you don't have to answer if you don't want to, i'm genuinely just curious haha (i like its... vibe? even though i dont know what it's about) but it's totally fine if you don't want to share for any reason of course

oh of course :) it's from the chinese sci-fi movie The Wandering Earth (2019) loosely adapted from the liu cixin short story... the premise is the sun is half a century away from going supernova as it reaches the end of its life stage. humanity constructed giant engines all over the planet to push us of our orbit in hopes of finding eventually finding a habitable star system thousands of years in the future... hence "the wandering earth". everything on the planet has frozen over bc we're out in deep space away from the sun, and the world's oceans and lakes have all become solid blocks of ice.

the line in my bio "I believe you. there will be a day where ice turns into water" is from this scene where a russian cosmonaut gets impacted by debris and dies helping his coworker reach the command module onboard the mission satellite... the hope and wistful humanity of it all

But I once fried Avaka on a pan with the whole noodle thing someone recently made and tasted them with broth to see what would happen. Turns out they turn into a tangy, sweet and sour sauce that tastes wonderful. Sprinkle some minced green herbs and it's a good meal. Sometimes the vegetable leaves these little pieces behind and they taste extra rich. I guess me tasting random stuff came in handy. "

#i need to write a prequel to aa4 pls pls pls pls pls #okay get this: so phoenix isnt disbarred yet and he doesnt have trucy. hes still taking and winning cases #one day he gets a call from edgeworth and hes all like ''wright i need your assistance'' and hes like what for and edgeworth goes #''ive been given the most ridiculous case and i think youre the only man in law who can take care of it'' #so phoenix bikes his ass to the detention center and boom. child behind bars #and phoenix is like ??? hey kid what are doing here. and this kid is the most surly mfer on the planet like you couldnt get- #-a word out of him if you tried. hes kinda giving phoenix the stink eye too but hes just the littlest guy on earth #and phoenix feels bad for him so he tries to get a rundown of the case (maybe edgeworth gave him an autopsy report or smth beforehand) #but get this. the kid still wont speak. he hasnt even moved a muscle. and after some prodding you find out this little dude- #-doesnt speak english (i dont love aa6 but i think apollos tragic backstory can be interesting so we're going w that but taking it seriousl #anyways so maya is like omg this kid is speaking khurainese but hers is kinda broken bc shes not from the mainland and only knows it- #-from like prayers #so you only get bits and pieces of the kids testimony. plus he still doesnt wanna talk bc ''dhurk told me not to talk to you'' #so you start following the new lead but you ask too many questions and apollos like oh shit i said too much and wont talk to you anymore #but now you have two leads: khur'ain and a man named ''dhurk'' plus the fact that this is kid might be new to america since- #-he cant speak english but is smack dab in the middle of california. its all v curious and phoenix wants to get to the bottom of it #for the rest of the case i feel like it would go in the direction of ''we dont know exactly whats up w this dhurk guy or where this kid- #-came from but we do get him acquitted and phoenix is able to save him from the dark path he was heading towards'' thus steering apollo- #-in the direction of law and giving him a wayyyy better reason than aa6 gave him <3 #i kind of like the interlinked nature of ace attorney's storytelling. like everything leads into smth else and everyone is impacted- #-by another person before they even become properly entangled w each other's lives #like how mia faced dahlia years before she met phoenix but dahlia was the one to connect them #or how trucy gave phoenix the diary paper but she's also the one who ropes apollo into the waa. even before they know they're siblings #or how lamoire left apollo and trucy as children and when they reunite as adults they cant recognise each other but they all find each- #-other anyways #i could go on but i think this could be cool yknow esp bc i think the most interesting thing about apollo's aa6 backstory is his life- #-post dhurk. like where did he stay? was he a foster kid? was he put into the system? how did that affect him? what kind of ppl took him in #i just wanna know how that whole thing would have effected him bc like when yiu think about it how did he even get to america?? his dad's #-considered a terrorist. idk man i think its interesting and apollo and dhurks interactions are one of the only good parts of aa6

Children of Earth really is just near top of my list of reasons why I'm not a huge fan of UNIT.

#and before people go different leader of UNIT back then and stuff #yeah true but still #its weird as fuck its just brushed aside that UNIT was fine handing the children over to the 456 #to the point when they obviously hesitating on the day of doing it in the government #the leader of unit says if they dont give the order...before saying to do stage one #before we cut to the military arriving to schools and taking away classes of children and holding back protesting parents and teachers #and when it came to the children who didnt go back to school #the military just proceed to break down the doors of the houses and forcefully take away the children #like gee wonder why in 'death of the doctor' clearly set some time after children of earth #sarah told UNIT not one more step onto her property #almost like sarah and co likely tried to stop the military during all that alongside others #and in the process saw how UNIT was being

Getting emotional about Stick Man. The world's a dangerous and scary place, but it's full of love and beauty and kindness. And when it all seems utterly hopeless, there's people who'll help you. After all the hardship he goes through, not only does he forgive everyone, he chooses compassion and gives them the presents he knows they would love.

what's up with that crushing loneliness and loss of purpose after spending a period of time surrounded by nature and friends

the last 3 days I was in the mountains, enjoying nature, making a campfire and playing games with my friends and today I can barely motivate myself to leave my couch

#i cant even motivate myself to go for a walk in the woods bc they just dont seem as impressive as the ones in the mountains #which is the contrary to al we lear ed while we were there #i wanted to get to know my local flora and fauna better amd appreciate it for what it is but instead im rotting on the couch #i want to sing ridiculous childrens songs with my classmates around our campfire again #and watch the starts in the pitch blackness while the only sounds are cowbells #and talk about my spirituality and its connection with nature in a setting that makes everyone feel the grandness of this earth #im warm and comfy right now but id rather be cold and dirty but back to collecting rocks and being scared while climbing up a mountain #i think i felt too much these past few days so now im all out of it and i hate it
