In which we keep in mind that Careggi is but an hour by foor from the centre of Firenze and Ezio sneaks in there after his family's arrest, seeking comfort and guidance (Lorenzo has heard of the whole ordeal, of course, but he expects there to be a trial, and considering the hold he has on the city's magistratures he knows how it will end). In which we consider that this is hapenning on the 28th of December, during Europe's little ice age, it's cold, maybe snowing (and Ezio's cold, growing colder as the snow on his clothes melts, now that he's inside). Or, I scream, @cerbin-aen-feainn and @sparrow-in-boots scream with me, and we all have a great time.

Lorenza mi ha emozionata oggi raccontandomi di lei e di Andrea, il suo ragazzo. Aveva una luce negli occhi meravigliosa e raccontando la loro storia mi sono emozionata anche io, soprattutto perché nonostante fosse raccontata da lei che è più simile a Francesco, razionale e composta, sembrava comunque un romanzo. Lei che vede solo lui e ne parla così credo sia magia ed essenzialmente il motivo per cui continuo a credere nell’amore e nelle persone speciali

I cannot understand why so often in the AC fandom the (awfully underutilised) alliance between the Auditore and the Medici is perceived as some sort of moral fault of Giovanni, which ultimately led to his and his son’s death, or even a sign of the corruption of the Brotherhood, instead of being treated as it should be – a logical choice in the historical context of the Italian Renaissance and of Firenze.
