Thursday, February 8.
You may
When the going gets tough, the tough get nothing but the very best: all the serotonin money can't buy. So if you, weary traveler, should come to our door this most oppressive Thursday, February 8, like an impoverished Robin Hood fox cartoon, bespectacled, bedraggled, and be shaking a measly tin of coin in our direction, then welcome. Let us fill your tin with all the crumbs we can muster—and then some.

I am never forgiving Vessel for closing Sundowning with the song Blood Sport and opening This Place Will Become Your Tomb with Atlantic. Sir how could you do that to your fans? This is just too painful 😭😭

i never knew that anakin and padme were going to be dying on the table at the same time, paralleling each other
it was like being shot because every time i thought i couldn't be in more pain, it got worse? the tragic soulmateism of them dying at the same time, without each other. as if they can't live without the other. and the only reason why anakin survives is because he's forced into that suit, trapped in hell without her as a consequence for his actions
but even losing each other and dying, it couldn't kill their love? her last words were that she still thought there was good in him, even though he's gone. and you think it can't hurt any worse than that but then you see the japor snippet ani made on her body
and it's already horrifying enough that anakin is gone, put in the suit, obviously in physical and emotional pain, but then he's told that he killed padme and he's screaming in anguish. and he's stuck in that hell forever

december 6, 2023 - wednesday week 2
went on a grocery trip and proctored an exam for the pledges of my fraternity today! also got some stuff done for the pharmacology assignment due tomorrow, and finished a couple of physical chemistry assignments.
trying to take advantage of my free time to get back into reading - have been chugging through the audiobook of i'm glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy (which i highly recommend) and trying to finish up my read of the crow by alison croggon (which i started in august).
song of the day: dark green water - great grandpa

Packing Efficiency of Unit Cells
-- packing efficiency of simple cubic unit cells = 52%
-- packing efficiency of body-centered cubic unit cells = 68%
-- packing efficiency of face-centered cubic unit cells = 74%
-- the packing efficiency is the percentage of the volume of the unit cell occupied by atoms
-- packing efficiency = [V(atom) / V(unit cell)] x 100%
-- V(atom) is the number of atoms in the unit cell times the formula for the volume of a sphere
-- number of atoms:
-- simple cubic = 1
-- face-centered cubic = 4
-- body-centered cubic = 2
-- volume of a sphere is found using the formula (4/3)πr^3
-- V(unit cell) is the edge length cubed
-- edge lengths:
-- simple cubic = 2r
-- body-centered cubic = 4r/√3
-- face-centered cubic = 2√2r
-- V(unit cell) values
-- simple cubic = 8r^3
-- body-centered cubic = 64r^3 / (√3)^3
-- face-centered cubic = 8 (√2)^3 r^3

Chemistry behind nerve agent, Sarin
Sarin, a nerve agent discovered in 1938 by German researchers as a byproduct of pesticide development, was named after the first letter of the four researchers' surnames.
Post-World War II, it gained global production. Codenamed GB by the U.S. military and P-35 by the Soviet Union, Sarin belongs to the G-class nerve agents and is about 26 times more toxic than cyanide. It has the highest volatility among nerve agents, entering the body through skin, eyes, inhalation, or ingestion.
By inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, it disrupts the nervous system, causing muscle paralysis and asphyxiation. Sarin's slow degradation in the body leads to cumulative toxicity. Immediate treatment with antimuscarinic atropine, oxime, and artificial respiration is crucial for survival. Beyond the battlefield, Sarin has been involved in numerous terror incidents.

If I somehow got my hands on Ash’s phone number, I would send him a middle finger emoji every day. If he blocked me, I would simply flip him off whenever I got the chance. I want him to know I don't like him. :> (let him try to kill me. I'm a ball of repressed rage and will fight)
If I’m being honest, I don’t think Ash even knows other people are capable of having opinions 💀
People aren’t people to him, they’re more like objects or elements for an experiment
I think he’d be like “okay” and make a footnote abt ur reaction to him
