In the fastfood zosan au, Sanji only works there because Zeff thinks he should get some work experience before he makes him a cook at hos restaurant.
Zoro knows first hand how amazing his cooking is but the girls don't. Still, they decided to humour him one time while he was flirting with them, and accepted the invitation to dinner. Nami brought her girlfriend Vivi and Robin brought Franky.
They all say on the table, waiting for Sanji to finish up his dishes. They chat for a bit and Zoro mentions that he hadn't eaten lunch so he can have more room for Sanji's cooking. Nami is surprised because in her mind his cooking would be like in the fast food place - bland, basic and uninspired. But when she said that, both Zoro and Franky looked at her with such offence she was shocked.
Sanji finally came out of the kitchen and with three swift back and forth's he set the table. It was the single most delicious meal Nami had tasted in her life. She wanted to compliment him on his cooking but it seemed every time she looked at him he was occupied with his boyfriend.
First he was nagging on him about his table manners. Then he was wiping his face with a napkin. After that it was him just straight up feeding Zoro as if he couldn't do it himself. She was scared how much it could escalate so she decided not to bother trying.
Something she couldn't help but notice was that at some point a black haired kid who's name she thinks is Luffy came over. He started eating everything as of someone would take it from him. And then little by little the rest came.
A short child named Chopper joined. Everyone seemed so happy to see him, it was almost contagious. Then a ridiculously tall skinny man, who looked way too much like The King of Soul - Brook. Turned out he was also a musician... odd coincidence... A guy Nami had seen around a lot - Usopp joined a bit before another oddly familiar face came along. Someone who looked a bit like a politician from the neighboring county that retired a while ago, Junbe she thinks was his name.
Suddenly, with all these people cramped into the small appointment, it made sense to why Sanji made this absurdly large amount of food. And of course, Zoro used the excuse of not having enough place to sit to pull Sanji into his lap. It was an obvious and unoriginal trick but it worked...
During the loud dinner, Nami found out a couple of things. For one - Sanji was actually the foster child of the thrice Michelin star awarded cheff Zeff. Luffy had to pay bail for Ace after he destroyed some guy's car for disrespecting his parental figure. Zoro had asked Zeff for Sanji's hand the very first time they met and he refused to give his blessings ten times before agreeing on conditions that Zoro promised to keep secret. She also found out that the kid in question - Chopper had skipped three grades and wants to go to med school.
Most of all, she was amazed at how homie and welcoming these people were, even though she met half of them for the first time that same night.

What would happen in the AU where Reiju ran away with Sanji and they both ended up at the Baratie with Zeff? Even though Zeff doesn't take female chefs, would he make an exception for Reiju?
Absolutely, i think Zeff would've loved to have a daughter, he would've been so soft for her although it would've been so chanlleging for him
Tho i see adult Reiju more as a head of staff of hostress than a cheff, but she would've been the most feared and respected one on that boat among that crew of rowdy men

Just read a fanfic where the mugiwara weren't together anymore so i wrote this to cope :')
Here's how i think it would go:
Luffy & Zoro - would stay together literally until one of them dies. Both of them still want to explore and find new challenges around the world. And their bond is too strong for them to separate from eachother
Sanji - He'd stay a long with the crew, but eventually he would go back to Baratie. Zeff would die or just pass the title of Head Cheff to him. The crew would visit him, and in rare occasions he'd visit them.
Usopp - What are this man's ambitions? I'm not sure but i think he'd go back to Syrup to open a small repair/crafting store. OR he'd tag along witj name and would do the same thing but in her village
Nami - she'd be the first one to want to leave the crew (after she finished her map) and would go back to Cocoyasi Village. She'll just live peacefully with her sister (and maybe Usopp) planting oranges and sharing her knowledge with other people.
Chopper - it would take some time, but he'd be one of the firsts to leave. Maybe he would stay in a village with high knowledge of medicine, or one that really needed a doctor, or maybe he'd go back home. I don't really know. (But Kureha must miss him and i really want them together again)
Robin - wouldn't leave the crew until she finds everything she's been looking for. After that, she'll find a small village with a strong scientific community, and would share what she knows and try to learn more. From time to time she'd find the Mugiwara and spend some time with them.
Brook - he has no reasons to leave, initially, but maybe he finds a cool village. I dream about him opening a tavern and singing for thousands of sailors and other people during many many years and being happy I'm going to die
Franky - he's the one that doesn't want to leave at all, and he stays last with Zoro and Luffy. What would make him leave? Like Chopper, i think Franky would only leave the crew if he found a place where he is more/really needed, or could learn things he never even dreamed about
Jinbei and Yamato - i am so sorry i have no ideia!!!! Still getting used to them 😔🤚
Just wait I'm gonna add more things to this

Can you also make young Sanji crush on you? Obviously after he managed to escape from the Vinsmoke family and the reader was already staying with chef Zeff
child sanji crushing on you (after escaping germa)
description: what child sanji is like hen he has a crush on you (this is when he's been "adopted" by cheff zeff, after he escped germa)
Tumblr media
-the sweetest, he stares a lot and often gets in trouble for it because it would sometimes distract him from his chores, you would catch him staring even before you talked to him
-he's pretty shy at first so you might have talked to him first, in the beginning of your friendship he's still shy and kind of quiet, always has a bashful but happy smile and he talks only a bit
-but the closer you get the more he talks, eventually he's either talking a lot very happily or he's stuttering with a bright blush
-he gets flustered really easily
-he works really hard on his cooking and he's often busy with it, but when he has free time and he's not cooking off on his own, he'll go to play with you
-you run around the resturaunt playing tag or hide and seek (you more often than not get scolded)
-he tells you about the all blue and you tell him you want to see it too, so you plan to go see it together and sanji could not be happier than in that moment (except for in the future when you find the all blue together)
-if you stand up for him when he's getting made fun of by the other chefs he'd be so happy, and he does the. same for you if anyone ever teases you
-like when a customer is rude sanji will come out and yell at them then get yelled at by zeff, but he does it every time
-he has you try his new dishes and really values your opinion
-when you do chores in the kitchen with him you usually end up blushing furiously and messing up on things because you keep meeting each other's glances (resulting in more scolding)
-he compliments you a lot and stutters when he does
-he gets you flowers, sometimes from the vases and decorations around the resturaunt, other times he'll find them when they go to get supplies (he gets in trouble though, but it was worth it)
-he loves hugs and it becomes a regular thing to hug when you see each other and when you say goodbye
-when he's upset he tries to avoid you and when you find him he'll look away, frantically wiping away his tears and sniffling before turning back with a partially fake smile, but you're one of the only people who can cheer him up (besides zeff but he doesn't actually do it well or very nicely)
-you are inseperable, attatched to each other, it's only you two and sanji wouldn't have it any other way

Day 85 of Sanji and Zeff v starvation sees them winning, so here’s a weird sort of Damage Report!
Kid Sanji went 60 days without eating, 61 if we assume that last bit of bread was supposed to be his 25-day meal. That is achievable, but almost certainly not with how little he was eating before the starvation occurred. So a normal person would’ve died but with an asterisk that if Sanji can actually maintain nutritional and caloric equilibrium on a fifth of normal food per day, he could technically make it. It would take months of strictly monitored dieting for him to be able to move again and at his age, while he could go on to lead a relatively normal life he definitely wouldn’t be a healthy 5′10″ man at the age of 19. The brain damage alone would produce someone who needed even more therapy than Sanji actually does in this story, and that’s a lot.
Cheff Zeff, on the other hand, did a stupid and nutritionally wasteful thing by cutting off his own leg with a rock he found on like day three of the ordeal. Even if he hadn’t died of infection, which is way easier to do if you are starving on a rock, this provided negative calories, meaning he would not have even survived the first two months no matter how tough he was. Not only is it true that a normal person would’ve died but even a ridiculously superhuman person would’ve died even barring this specifically stupid stunt. He would certainly not live another nine years and be able to shrug off cannonballs.
Starvation as a concept took 2d8 psychic damage at this obvious show of disrespect.
And lastly, that guy on the boat who claimed to hear a kid 80 days ago is certainly lying because even if he had, he wouldn’t remember it after all this time. If he somehow isn’t lying, the guilt over failing to save a starving child and his new dad would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Man I whish it didn't but the concept of Sanji having this deep hidden backstory really bugs me more than I want. It seems like it just removes so much of his actual character from him and his early life and tramatic experiences which Cheff zeff and the baratie, not to mention the whole reason he's traveling with Luffy and the gang was to find the all blue. Never not once was any of this even hinted at and it feels like Oda is just trying to rewrite his character into this creepy pervert thats actually a really important guy that you just never knew the truth about just to extend the story longer enough till he actually figures out what to do with all of the other REAL interesting plot threads he left dangling in the pre pirate war era of one piece, y'know all the stuff about the pluton and the missing century? The stuff that provided stakes and mystery with cipher pol while actually tieing in the themes of treasure hunting and pirates that one piece is supposed to be about? It just feels like by going back and rewriting one of the main crew's backstory from being an actual regular guy who gradually became a super infamous pirate in a renowned crew it's like trying to forget about the first half of one piece and everything that made me get invested
