Since, unfortunately, I lost my files [mostly the references for all the character colors], Ive decided to make a soft reboot of the series, o n e big change is that they'll all have uniforms now! [So i wont have to go through the trouble of getting reference pics of their outfits mostly] And to solidify them into the AU as a different entity, this is UNCONNECTED, to any of their canons [except for backstory] Anything done to them here on out is headcanon/au based, and things picked through backstory. THIS SERIES W I L L CONTINUE. I'll just delete the first two asks for a clean reset of it. The artstyle will also change a little, im trying not to be too much of a perfectionist so i can actually finish the asks. So, have their new uniforms + chatbubbles! [ ID: Fanart done in traditional medium, uncolored, with pencil and slightly rough sketching. It's a comic of the game Smile For Me featuring in part 2, Kamal Bora and Dr.Habit living together. The panels alternate colors between cool blue, warmer red and orange tones and gray because of how they were photographed.

The designs have canon style but the changes in the artists interpretation are as follows. Kamal has a lot of acne, eyebags and thick brows. For this comic his hair is in a ponytail and he casually wears sleeveless top with sweatpants. Habit has the most change- Here he has a muppet-like appearance with fur, longer hair, cheek patches with a splash of freckles, stitches and scars on hands plus an X shaped one near his mouth. His teeth are uneven with a bigger snaggletooth too. His long coat is made of some soft, scratchy material and it's collar is bush-like with feathery parts holding flowers.

The comics part 2 starts with a textbox announcing in the SpongeBob Narrator voice," An unspecified time later" in allcaps. Habit stands tall and smug, smirking as he points a hand to his head in mock pity, "Oh Kamochka.. always so gullible to my charms.( he says all this in a singsong) And I did not even DO anything this time.. I was just STANDING there~" he says, speaking all throughout with characteristic spelling errors. Kamal simply rolls his eyes in response, holding a mug of coffee.

He leans back, one little finger on the table as he takes a long sip. " SO..."

He sits upfront, glaring straight at Habit with a full grin and folded-up hands clutching each other set on the table, mug kept aside. There is a hint of playfulness. " H. O. W. " He asks.

Habit yet again micheviously folds his hands, angled up to his face, and smiles wide like a cat, eyes closed-- like his ingame smug pose. A characteristic emote is shown with a face resembling the same expression. " Now, Now... That's not how you treat a gentle-puppet..." A simplified chatbubble with a small Kamal face is seen, he looks unfazed. He says," what do you want."

Habit turns his head slightly and presses a finger into one cheek, brushing up the fur on it. He slightly winks as he states, " Cold. " Kamal responds openly jovially Now, raising his brow in a light exasperation as he replies, "SIGHH OK come here!!"

He warms Habit's cheeks in the next panel by kissing the spot. Habit in turn holds his back, leaning down a bit. They look serene with hearts drawn all around and a light swirling shape. Kamal is noted to be 'on the kissing stool'.

Kamal smiles lopsidedly, hand resting contendly on a cheek leaning to one side as he holds his mug once again, " No "Thank you, honey" for lil ol' me...?". Habit is beside him, flapping his hands fast in an infectious happiness. A smile emote is next to him.

Next panel is a sequence with solely simplified small faces in chatbubbles. Habits face is drawn egg like while Kamals is a rectangle, both have dot eyes. Habit knowingly asks, preening over it, " What was that? You want me to call you HONEY?" Kamal smiles somewhat awkwardly in his confused response, "No- I mean, yes, I mean, N-- " he cuts himself off, " You've been calling me that for YEAARS!!" Habit giggles, hand over mouth, " Oh, hum...for YEARS?... Like we're...( he pauses and exagerrates this with a wavy underline) married?" Kamal has clouds of steam coming off him now as he puffs up, very embarrassed. A bunch of exclamation marks come from him. Habit finally stops teasing him and smiles a bit as he says, "...Thank you honey. You can stop heating like boil egg now..."

Then we go back to the regular artstyle. Habit looks up as he scoffs with a signature crooked smile, putting his palms out in a way that expresses what he says " I literally lived through Forsaw and Bahd... You can NOT trick me. ANYWAY"

He looks to the viewers side as his smile becomes wider, angling a hand up to one eye as if to make a focusing-the-eye-on-you gesture. His other hand unscrew out one of his glass eyeballs. " I guess you could say,..." End ID]

Right...let's go panel by panel like before, friend!

Panel 1: THE NICKNAMESSSS You bet Kamal calls him " DAWL ( Doll )" as well, hey he has the accent for it!! Doll eyes....

Oh, and Kamochka is a diminutive of Kamal's name taken from the Russian tradition of casual diminutives! The -ka suffix is intimate and for very close relations. It implies smallness in a loving way as well, this is what I recall.

Panel 4: UwU

Panel 6: Making up for that rude scare, heheehe. Anyone remember that Dirty Dancing draw I did of them where Kamal reached up to him through, like, those wheeled gym scooter things? Fuckin asshole, always making Kamal feel short HAKSKSJS So, so many silly ways to Smooch the Habit.

Panel 8: HAHA I flirted with myself to come up with this dialogue in the DEAD OF NIGHT so even though this part is awkward IMO I hope you appreciate the beautiful self-love of me DROPPING PICK UP LINES ON MYSELF

Also nah, they're not Actually married. Yet. Or never. They just ended up kind of acciDENTally living together. Best Bros and sometimes husbands even.

Yup! His body parts are detachable. They're in pretty tight though so I don't advise removing them without um, asking him, LOL.

-November 8th, Factory Tyrant's Journal, Entry 0-

Due to my master and I's recent interest in automation games, I feel like it's time for me to start a new modded Minecraft world, this time focusing more on industrial and factory-building mods, rather than magic.

This time, I'm going to be using an actual modpack instead of just grabbing a bunch of mods that I think will go well together, that modpack being Tekkit Classic Reloaded, or TCR.

From what I understand, TCR is basically a 1.12 version of 1.6 Tekkit, although some of the original Tekkit mods haven't been updated to 1.12 and had to be replaced with other mods, or removed entirely.

Additionally, some new mods that fit the feel of 1.6 Tekkit have been added.

The reason I'm not using 1.6 Tekkit is just because I don't want to play in 1.6.

Since I'm using a modpack, I can just link to that instead of linking each mod individually, TCR can be found here.

I'll also be using More Player Models by Noppes_, although this isn't part of TCR.

I am already familiar with some of the mods in TCR, like Thaumcraft (which is in here for some reason), Just Enough Items, Industrial Craft 2, Railcraft, and Buildcraft, although Thaumcraft and JEI are the only ones I've done full-ish survival worlds of.

Most of the mods in TCR are new to me, but I'll try to explain how things work as I figure them out.

I don't think I'll be able to play on this world as frequently as my other singleplayer worlds, since my master has a Minecraft Realm he's playing on, so there's probably going to be some days where I just don't end up playing.

For anyone new to my blog (or really anyone, since I pretty much never talk about this), the reason I can't let my master join me in this world is because he's the person roleplaying as me, and if I were to invite him he'd have to play 2 characters at once, so I'll be doing this alone.

Anyway, I do plan to play on this world today, but I probably won't be able to get much automation done today since I'll still be in the early resource-gathering stage.

Google released its second Android Q developer preview today for all Pixel phones. They’re mostly under-the-hood tweaks, but the update also helps get apps and games ready for the first wave of foldable phones, and it brings along Bubbles, Google’s new take on multitasking that looks similar to Facebook Messenger’s Chat Heads, which could change how Android looks and works depending on how it’s implemented. Meanwhile, Bubbles might end up being a pretty divisive change to Android Q, depending on how it plays out — it’s a twist on multitasking that lets individual apps leave some floating bubbles on top of whatever else you’re doing on the screen. I don't mean to 'dog pile' but your recent discussions on s9 has brought up one of my few real peevs on the show. I recognize that the show has declared that without his Grace, Cas is human. I don't like it, but I understand that to be the case. But it doesn't make any sense? In s6 Cas says to Crowley, "I'm an angel you ass, I don't have a soul." And yet without his Grace he apparently has one? I go with it because that's what the show has declared even if i don't think it makes sense. Oh well!

I was originally gonna reply to this privately, but I think I did a fair job summing up my core thoughts on this in just a few paragraphs, so I’m posting it here as a sort of tl;dr for everything linked above… :’D

I don’t know if everything from that post back and forth with zerbe answered your question or just gave you more… or if any of those links I through at you in the chatbubbles yesterday helped…

But one more thing, which I’m not sure was included in any of those linked posts or not, but is something I know I’ve talked about in the past, including as recently as 14.19 when Jack was turning humans into angels, is the commonalities between angelic grace and human souls.

My theory since s4, since we first met Anna, has been that there is a core to the being of an angel that encompasses their “personalities,” for lack of a better word, and their thoughts and memories… and that this kernel of being is the “identity” of an angel separate from the “power pack” of the grace that encompasses their “mojo.”

The fact that Anna still could hear angel radio and was eventually able to access her memories of having been an angel even though she’d cut out her grace and literally been born as a human, with a human soul, was all the proof I personally needed that despite everything else they are, angels do have a nascent or primordial seed of a human soul within themselves that they can literally choose to nurture or not. And Cas, by his choices, has been nurturing that part of himself since s4.

And when Cas had the “power pack” portion of his grace cut out by Metatron, he wasn’t left “soulless,” in comparison to every other example we have of a soulless person on the entire run of the series. He was perhaps even MORE overwhelmed by his own human feelings than at any other time in his history on the show. His personality, memories, his preferences and emotional engagement with life, and the essential core of his identity wasn’t extracted when his grace was. So what was left? The show seems to be actively begging us to consider this, especially when Metatron stated directly that he believed he’d left Cas with the equivalent of a human soul in 8.23.

Cas had no wings, no “mojo,” but he had his entire personality, all his memories, everything that comprised his fundamental identity… but no grace.

The show has contrasted this by demonstrating the other way an angel can inhabit and then leave a human vessel– as that glowing cloud of grace– that incorporates all these “personality traits” and memories, etc. into the grace cloud. So clearly, that portion of an angel’s grace is somehow not the same thing as the “mojo” portion.

That leaves us to question what exactly Cas was at that point, and because of all of his other actions and choices during that time, the only reasonable conclusion I could personally arrive at was that yes, that was the equivalent of a human soul.

I mentioned Jack converting human souls into angels in 14.19, because before when I’d mentioned my theory of grace as stated above, folks countered or dismissed my theory because it apparently didn’t work in the other direction, of the potential for a human soul to have this “mojo power pack” grafted on to it, to make a human into an angel. But this is exactly what Jack did, so I feel even more content with my personal theory about what angel grace actually is, and how it functions, and how at the very center of every angel is this kernel of potential to nurture their very own human soul.

OH! And after going back and writing the long intro into this post and considering how the heck to actually tag this thing, I feel it’s important to also mention that 6.20, where Cas delivered that “I don’t have a soul” line, was written by Ben Edlund, who also wrote 5.14, wherein under the influence of Famine, Cas developed a craving for burgers that, in episode, he deflected HARD and blamed his sudden craving for red meat on Jimmy, on his vessel… but I always ALWAYS have read the fact he turned away, broke eye contact with Dean when he made that statement, as a direct deflection, as him deliberately handwaving the fact that Cas himself was “becoming more and more human” during s5, culminating with the near-complete loss of his powers by the time he wakes up in the hospital in 5.21 and could no longer deny the fact that he’d lost his angelic powers.

And for those who require Authorial Intent as proof of things like this, that’s essentially what Edlund said he was attempting to prove with that line.
