"oh my god," you mumble. "i'm losing my mind." there are homework papers scattered everywhere on your desk and the floor, textbooks stacked on top of each other lay dangerously close to the edge, and the study music you put on loop hours ago started sounding like nails on a chalkboard a few minutes ago.

you weren't usually this unorganized when studying, but midterms were scarily close. everything college related was going good so far, and you were terrified of messing it up.

it had been weeks since you regressed. you felt as if you had no time to do so, and a part of you convinced yourself that you needed to give anton a break. anton on the other hand, was concerned. he subtly tried to get you to regress by putting on cartoons while you two sat in the living room, and "accidentally" leaving your stuffie lulu on the bed with your paci next to it. unfortunately, his attempts were futile.

while lost in thought, you hear a knock and out of the corner of your eye you see anton peeking in, pushing a few books you threw by the door out of the way as he opens it.

"hi love, i brought you some fruit." his tone is sweet, you notice he's speaking to you in his caregiver voice. you smile at him and whisper a 'thank you,' as he sets the bowl on an empty spot on your desk. "how's studying going?" you look at the mess of homework and books everywhere and let out a sigh. "perfectly fine! i have everything under control."

anton can tell that you're feeling overwhelmed. even though he wants to cuddle you and help you slip, he doesn't know if now is a good time to ask.

while trying to reorganize things, you realize one of your homework papers is now missing. you start shoving things off your desk and try your best to not start crying. tears cloud your eyes and you can feel a lump in your throat. "where the hell did i just put my homework?" you whine, letting your tears fall.

anton watches you silently, wondering what's going on.

"is something wrong, bunny?" that nickname sets you off. you didn't want to be big and deal with stupid tests or homework anymore. you wanted your daddy.

tears begin falling down your face faster than you realize, and before you know it anton's cradling you in his arms. "you're okay, just breathe." he says, running his fingers through your hair. "what's wrong baby, hm?" his voice is laced with concern, he knows what’s going on but chooses to let you tell him first.

“so stressed about everything, daddy…” you mumble into his chest. he places a kiss on the top of your head and coos. “i’m sorry things have been so hard for you, babygirl.” anton runs his fingers through your hair in an attempt to soothe your sobs.

“you know you can tell daddy anything, right?” he whispers to you. “any problem big or small, and i’ll help you the best i can.” you look up at him through teary eyes, a slight blush appearing on your face.

you pout. “didn’t wanna bother you. you’re too busy.” anton shakes his head no, and smiles softly at you. “i’m never too busy to take care of my baby. daddy is always gonna be here whenever you need me.” anton wipes a few fallen tears out of your face and then in one motion, scoops you into his arms.

“don’t worry about your homework for now. let’s take a nap, hm?” you nod your head, making a babbling noise in agreement.

anton lies down in bed with you, letting you rest your head against his chest. his heartbeat is almost like a sweet melody. it lulls you to sleep almost immediately.

anton, on the other hand, stays perfectly still as to not wake you. you hadn’t gotten proper sleep in days because of your studies. he hums to you as you drift off and rocks you gently in his arms. it’s the most serene you’ve felt in weeks, all thanks to him.

through sleepy eyes and a quiet voice, you whisper an “i love you,” to anton. right before you drift off to sleep, you hear his voice.

“i love you too, baby. sleep well.”

Okay so, if y'all know me you know I adore tmnt. It was my obsession before I ever watched even the original YGO much less GX. And now I'm watching tmnt 2012 for the first time, I'm about halfway through season 2 and honestly you guys are so lucky I'm not live blogging it because well.... I don't like it 💀

I will say I'm enjoying season 2 more than season 1 so far but still 💀

#I'm trying so hard I really am #as a don stan I hate all the april stuff #as a lover of april I hate what they've done and will do with this one #I hate the whole karai is really splinter's daughter thing #the kraang make me want to die every time they speak they're so annoying #I dunno a lot of the humor is just not landing with me either for some reason #i never liked the 3d cg animation style i always thought it was super ugly which is part of why i never watched it until now tbh #I kinda resent just how childish mikey is which is silly of me I'll admit that but still #leo has always been my least favorite that hasn't changed #don always was my favorite so I really hate that so much of his character revolves around april it really adds nothing and holds him back #raph is fine it's hard to mess him up tbh i don't have any issues with him so that's a win 👍#plus I adore sean astin so bonus points #I do actually like splinter and casey though #historically I love casey the most of the human characters though so if they end up messing him up later I'll never forgive them #karai is fine I just hate the her being splinter's daughter thing. I also don't like her design at all. at all. they did her dirty af.#I don't like to compare the other shows to 2003 since nothing ~really~ compares imo but karai's 2003 design > every other karai design #I know there's some 2003 storylines and characters they do in 2012 so I know the comparison is inevitable but I think I've done well #so far in keeping them separate. i haven't had that issue with 87 or rise so I trust myself #but honestly my intense love and admitted bias for 2003 has never interfered with my enjoyment or opinions of other turtle media #-so that's not an issue here #I just genuinely don't care for 2012 so far. I didn't particularly care for rise either but tbh atm I like it more than 2012 #the rise movie was great though I loved that legitimately. the show itself though? not really for me.#I'm gonna watch 2012 to completion and I really hope I change my mind but it's looking bleak so far #plus I already know a lot of the big story beats so there goes that lol #oh yeah I lied #I also like ice cream kitty 🤭#tmnt #abby's just rambling don't mind her #abby chooses violence #wake up babe new tag dropped

PQube will release MAGES.-developed boy idols visual novel B-PROJECT RYUSEI*FANTASIA for Switch and PC via Steam in the west, the publisher announced. A release date was not announced.

B-PROJECT RYUSEI*FANTASIA first launched for Switch on September 30, 2021 in Japan, followed by iOS and Android on February 10, 2022.

I thought I should make a post explaining why I add a moral alignment to every character I write for!

This way of describing characters came about in a 1977 version of the Dungeons & Dragons handbook by Gary Gygax. The alignment system was based on the fantasy stories of Michael Moorcock and Poul Anderson.

It was a way for players to decide how their characters would think and act in the game. And I’ve now integrated it as a part of how I see characters and their motives.

・They - usually - don’t kill, even if the villain is right in front of them.

・The upside of this alignment is that they will do whatever they can to help those in need

・The downside of this alignment is that they can become unpredictable when they think they’re doing the right thing

・They don’t disregard the law completely, but will break it if it means helping someone

・The difference between Neutral Good and Chaotic Good, is that CG hates authority and the government/leading state. While NG thinks there is a reason for rules.

・It’s a great alignment because it means doing good without bias for or against order. But can be a bad/dangerous one because it can limit the actions of the truly capable.

・CGs’ don’t put their desires above the greater good; they want to help in every way they can.

・The upside of this alignment is that they are reliable and honorable without being a zealot

・The downside of this alignment is that they seek to destroy choice, freedom, individuality, diversity.

・They believe in the government wholeheartedly, even if it’s hurting its citizens. Even if it is becoming tyranical.

・LN have blind loyalty

・They rarely seek things for themselves. Their desires line up with the laws and traditions.

・The difference between Lawful Good and Lawful Neutral is that LG will question the laws that are hurtful to others. They aren’t completely following blindly. They speak up.

・Lawful Neutral doesn’t consider morality when abiding by the law

・Sees Lawful Good as Honorable but Idealistic

・They believe themselves the best alignment because they advance themselves without regard for others

・This alignment is only out for themselves; they don’t care about bringing down social structures. Instead, they have a desire and they will do whatever it is to get it.

・The difference between Lawful Evil and Neutral Evil is that LE still follows the law and its structures. NE may follow the law - only if it works in their favour, then they have no problem going below it to their gain

・The difference between Neutral Evil and Chaotic Evil is that the latter is completely unpredictable. NE will at least have a reason why they’ve allied with someone, or are following the rules in some way. CE will do things for absolutely no reason.

Vintage Halloween postcards 🎃

In the early 20th century, people across America went wild for postcards. They sent them for every occasion imaginable, including Halloween. Advances in printing allowed for mass production of these cards illustrated with Halloween traditions and creatures.

May the Hallow Een goblins bring you luck, 1911

The majority of people creating and sending Halloween postcards were women. To market to a female consumer, these holiday cards depicted scenes of children’s play as well as romantic Halloween customs. The typical Halloween card shows beautiful, young, white women and/or children. Common themes are witches, black cats, bobbing for apples, and carving pumpkins, which are drawn from Celtic and English traditions. The cards draw on societal bias towards Western European people and culture.

While less common today, Halloween then was full of divination practices that supposedly allowed young women to learn about their future husband. If a woman looked into a candlelit mirror at midnight, she could see the face of her destined love in the mirror with her. Despite the horror movie connotation this imagery has today, this folklore was common enough at the time that numerous cards are devoted to the concept. Throwing apple peels, dripping candle wax into water, and bobbing for apples also could allegedly inform the young woman about her upcoming romance.

The popularity of postcards faded after World War I. Their ubiquity in everyday life gives us a peek into the ways that popular culture was represented and produced during the first few decades of the 20th century. In these Halloween postcards, we see a society focused on tradition, at odds with the rapid technology modernization that allowed postcards to exist on this scale.

tomura's his main cg was kurogiri. the doctor knew about this and informed afo and kurogiri but did nothing past that. leaving poor shigaraki to deal with this unfamiliar heads pace by himself (for a little while, till kurogiri came in and helped)

kiddo dabi, def an older regressor, anywhere from 6 to like 12 eldest of the lil villains. spinner is next oldest, v critter hearted kid.

if tonura regressed a bit older that usual he loves playing with big bro dabi n spinner !!!

toga is a regressor as well, most of the time she clings to big sis magne, kurogiri, mr compress too!

she loves going out for walks in nature, playing predator n prey. she likes playing dress up but very much imitates other people. she calls it spy/secret agent.

toga is very big on mirroring, she sees kurogiri do something, looks like she found a new hobby

twice is definitely a carer, his carerspace is so comforting to him and helps him from splitting as much. he loves looking after the tots in the league. giran is also a carer, but more a sitter. he'll help if needed. (he likes checking in on twice and the gang)

dabi's a very active regressor, loves going out and playing, he tends to drag toga, twice and possibly spinner out to a playground.

I realize The Mouse is too cowardly to recast Luke and Leia for fear of the wrath that might rain down upon them from stupid fanboys going “no (respectfully, sir) old ass Mark Hamill de-aged??? NO lifeless dead eyed CG Luke? No poor Carrie Fisher (RIP) dug up from her resting place and resurrected? Truthfully…..some of us know that they should be around during this time of the New Republic Era and recasting them with ppl who look close enough and can actually act and get the characters down would be nice. Like maybe that guy who did the Luke stuff for the other shows. They won’t be Mark and Carrie but that’s fine.

But also a part of me is happy that they aren’t around and only barely get mentioned so that they can’t be butchered further than they already are. Like I don’t want them to show up and act wildly OOC bc some of the writers have a weird bias and just use Luke to bash a beautiful GENOCIDED ppl/culture even more or something. Or portray Leia as incompetent and dumb. So would it be cool? Yes, definitely. Should they? Probably, if they ever want to include them in the fucking story ever again. If they ever do it (not holding my breath)….am I worried abt it? Yeah. Mixed but leaning negative feelings.

They already have an actor who could a dead ringer for a slightly older Luke Skywalker in Graham Hamilton. But if they didn't want to do that the solution would be animation. They could make a show like the Clone Wars but starring the OT crew, or at least Luke.

But yes then the concern would be whether they'd turn them into mouthpieces to insult the Jedi when that would be wildly out of character for them all.

I used to be a fan, until the start of the culling game. And after this controversial, inconsistent and inhumane adaptation of shibuya, im glad that I have no interest in both manga and show anymore"

Do you think Culling game is hard to understand, cause several of my (ex) moots also start dislike JJK after that arc?

I can't speak for everyone who dislikes jjk, but I think for most people who dislike the Culling Games, it's a sort of recency bias (except in the opposite way it's usually used). Many criticisms levied against the Culling Game were also said during the Shibuya arc as it was coming out and are showing up again, now that it has been animated. Things like "too many fights", "I don't care about these new characters", "the pacing is shit", "killing too many main characters makes deaths meaningless", "Yuuji isn't even the main character anymore" are often said for the Culling Game arcs, but also something I now see a lot from anime-onlys for the Shibuya arc. It's just how Gege writes and either you like it or you don't. A lot has also to do with binge-reading something and reading it weekly (especially if you don't reread chapters). The flow of action and payoffs are much more apparent when you binge something than when you have to wait for little titbits of the story to come out and stew for weeks over setups for later plot points. Any minor grievances you have are also easier forgotten when you read the full story. Problems like "I don't know what's going on or who these characters are and therefore I don't care" show up a lot when you aren't used to or don't like reading something weekly. There are people who complain that they don't know who Higuruma or Kashimo are, when it is very easy to remember that if you just keep the story in mind, reread past chapters or only read full arcs. They certainly don't lack characterization. Gege's writing definitely has flaws, especially recently, but we got to know plenty about Higuruma, Kashimo, Takaba etc.. Someone might not like them or isn't interested in their stories because of personal taste, but that's not Gege's fault. I for example like the Culling Game much more than Shibuya or Hidden Inventory and I think Shibuya can drag a lot at certain parts, but the highlights still make it a good arc. Perfect Preparation and Culling Game just has more to offer to me because it focuses on different characters and I like the new ones generally much more than say the Kyoto school group. Each of the new characters have tons more depth than any of the curse users that worked for Kenjaku previously and thereby liven things up a lot. Not to mention more lore. Thing is, if your favourite characters appear less and you don't like the new ones much, that will inevitably turn you off the story. That's valid, but personal taste is subjective, it's not what makes the story bad.

There are plenty criticisms to be made and you can clearly tell that Gege is rushing some parts of the story now, so I can understand if people stop reading because of that, but it's a matter of if the highs outweigh the lows. As whole arcs, I definitely don't think Culling Game is any worse than Shibuya. Or that Perfect Preparation is worse than Hidden Inventory (I think those are better to compare, since HI has a very different focus and is much shorter than Shibuya or CG). I'm a bit sceptical about the final fight against Sukuna in Shinjuku (excluding Kenjaku's part and Hakari vs Uraume from this for now, I liked those), but there's enough there to keep me invested and continue reading. I can understand though if that's not the case for others. Similar for the controversial timeskip and don't even get me started on Sukuna vs Gojo. Some criticism I don't agree with (sorry but Takaba vs Kenjaku was actually good), but there are other valid points to be made. For example, I recently saw a discussion on twt about how we are barely shown Gojo interacting with the students he supposedly cares about. I can totally understand that, especially when we are given more flashbacks to what happened during the timeskip and Gojo isn't in any of them and apparently not invested in what his students and friends are gonna do in case he dies. It does give the impression that he just doesn't give a shit about any of them anymore and it doesn't help his lack of characterization and character development post-unsealing.

Generally, I think it's best for these people who are "anti-jjk" to just drop the show if they can't enjoy anything about it at all. There are many more mangas, animes or other stories out there they could read/watch, instead of forcing themselves through something they don't like. I do that with plenty of stories as well. So if your ex moot decides to drop the manga and anime because they don't like it anymore, good. Find something else.

I think their criticism that jjk "snatches the spotlight from genuinely good shows" makes no sense though. That isn't even the case within the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump. If something is good, people will read it. Look at the boom for Kagurabachi, a series that just started and is already loved and continuously in the top 10 of the Jump App. People can read multiple stories at the same time, that's the whole reason these magazines don't just feature one manga. Sure, some really good stories out there are less popular, but that's not because of jjk. JJK being popular doesn't stop me from reading Houseki no Kuni or Monster, mangas that aren't as well known. One Piece or Pokemon aren't stealing anything from jjk, so why would that be the case for jjk and some lesser known manga. There are more complicated reasons for why something is getting less traction than just "series x has gained popularity". And I don't like powerscalers or your average blue checkmark anime fan on twt either, but then just ignore them. They are in every shonen fandom (and seinen and shoujo, although in case of shoujo it's a little different but not less obnoxious). Other fans having shit tastes isn't new or unique to jjk. That's just fandom.

Either way, glad this person moved on to another series, may they be happier there.

what is bear & babbles!

bear & babbles is a cute thing that we decided to create to help talk about agere in a safe environment! we will be answering questions (both me & daddy!) and answering some emails!!

i think it'll be fun to see both point of views too, from a little (and someone who struggles with mental health) + a caregiver whose been in the role for a while now.

today's topic: routines

routines are an important part of agere, whether you are a little trying to plan out the perfect time to regress or a caregiver learning how to take care of a little and their responsibilites for the first time, routines are indeed important! <3

˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗

🍼 : see, i'm rather bias here when it comes to routines because i adore making & sticking by them because of my autism. i love planning out the perfect time to regress (even if it's only for 30 minutes), i've alwasy been good at keeping & doing those sorts of things (even without a cg).

but i know everybody is difficult & if you're new to agere, routines can be daunting (especially its all down to you). my biggest pieces of advice would be:

alarms : can help remind you when certain times are, such as the time to regress or to let you know that regression time is coming to an end soon & to work on getting yourself back up to big space.

back ups plans : are incredibly helpful, especially if you have a unpredictable schedule that can get interupted a lot. when i studied, i would encorporate a handful of different planned regression breaks, so that if for example i miss my chance at 5 oclock to regress, i still have a timeslot avaliable later.

rewards : are a must when you're first getting used to routines. the whole thing can be daunting, so by rewarding yourself for simple tasks such as (regressing on time, regressing for the whole time period, being brave and picking out things you'd like to do in adance) might help the scheduling be a little easier.

baby steps : is also incredibly important. go at your pace. if you want to only plan 2 things when you first start out, than do that. if you want to plan a whole routine down to the minutes, than do that too. only you know what works for your regression.

googling / using other sources : can help a lot too! especially when planning activites. sometimes you might not have a whole night to regress and you need something short to do. there will be lots of suggestions on tumblr, reddit etc that should give you some ideas.

knowing it's okay to mess up : is something i had to learn too. routines are made to be altered and changed, you won't get it right first time and that's okay! the more mistakes you make along the way, the more you can learn and adapt your routines to suit you better

🧸 : I think it can be daunting at first taking on that role as a caregiver. It can be daunting having the responsibility of someone in such a vunerable headspace. But something that helped me relax is knowing that everyone feels like this at some point.

Even as a caregiver, the whole agere process is a learning journey. You get to learn how your little ticks. You know what they like, what they don't like, what their triggers are, what their comfort items are etc. And you don't get to know any of that without a few routine trials first.

For worrying caregivers out there, I'd like to just remind you that you have all the time in the world. You won't get it right first time, and you will make a couple of innocent mistakes.

It happens.

But the bond you form communicating about those mistakes and imputting what you learn into their routines is what creates that strong bond. I remember the first time I did a routine for Pumpkin, I was more panicked than she was, which actually earned us some giggles and inside jokes.

But now that i've gotten to know her little side more, planning routines becomes more like second nature. Of course, not every routine runs perfectly. Life will happen, and meltdowns will sometimes just happen because your little is overwhelmed and overstimulated.

Just remember to take a breath and believe in yourself.

And take breaks when you need too, our mental health matters too.

Why are people so mad about the reading I did for Mark's ideal type?:

Oh lord 🙄 so it seems people had expectations for the reading and thought it was going to be what they thought it would to be (or even wanted) vs thinking from Mark's perspective. They are in denial of the fact that Mark could be sexually attracted to such women and are babying him??? They don't want to acknowledge the fact Mark could actually have an active dating life. The way they view him is like a child, they can't fathom the thought of Mark having sex or being with an "alluring" type of woman. It's as if they want him to be with the type of girl they think he should be dating (what are they his mother? The entitlement! I just have to laugh 🤭). Some people could even be disappointed that they don't fit his ideal type 💀. They're just choosing to fight with me *sarcastic baby voice* because they think they know their precious Markie so well 🥺! Sigh 🤧😪 Instead of going by the saying "take what resonates and leave what doesn't" they're lashing out due to having poor self esteem.

WOW sorry i took so long to reply this the next sui story already came out (although i haven't read it yet) but i did just finish reading silberneherze and it reminded me of vernal a lot so i finally managed to frame my thoughts(?) also did i review her skin i can't find the post so sorry if i repeat anything ive said before lol anyway

Vernal was so aarhhhhgggg not bad but it was so... Traditional Wuxia which I thought I would be happy to read but bruh. they played every trope a bit too straight imo. i think the main thing that stuck with me was the crazy levels of filial piety which isn't a bad thing per se but come on. waaifu's dad. shakes my head i think ya01 should have destroyed him. i think wei should also have been bedridden bare minimum or something from the early encounter just from main story karma. only rat king gets to go scot free cause hes actually a nice dad to lin so i guess it makes sense she's like no no 'i'll continue the family business' i remember reading the story for the first time and being like (woozy emoji) over lin saying she'll take over because it was so.. girl youre probably not even 25 yet and you just put on some heavy af shackles which was so very 'the Right thing to do' great character flaw(?) for someone supposedly morally 'Not Good' i suppose

this avengers ahh looking CG... everytime i think about the context its just SIGH they really just girlies gang up!! and then Ya just 'aight cya' maybe im just salty du yaoye isn't in it and still isn't playable just undercooked as fuck banger image but weak setup and payoff there was no satisfaction to be gained other than 'nice art' (for me)
