"Aubrei" My first bust figurine! Definitely a new thing for me. I'm not used to working on this large of a scale, but it's something I really want to do more often. She's made from Polymer clay, small bits of plated chain and, painted with acrylics, luster powder, chalks and a glaze finish. I need to work on measuring better because symmetry is the bane of my existence and it shows. The name was inspired on Drusuna, a goddess worshiped by the lusitanos (group of Iberian celtic tribes) 🌿⠀ Drusuna was the goddess of the oak trees, the protector of the forest and the guardian of the druid knowledge 🌳⠀ When I was looking for a name for my page and my jewelry, I knew that I wanted it to have a meaning, and to be related to my origins.
