So I’m assuming it was Coach Ben who set the cabin on fire and um…what the fuck? Like I know you’re disturbed by their quick descent into ritual cannibalism and all that but they are in a horrible situation and they’re just trying to live! You’re really gonna force them to freeze to death because of it? Like come on, they were always going to escape the cabin. The kids are survivors, he had to know that, he has seen the atrocities they are willing to commit to survive. Like damn, I can forgive cannibalism but I draw the line at arson, I guess?

Gonna throw this random Yellowjackets theory around:
We know the girls did some abhorrent things to survive. And we know they have intense guilt, to the point where they refuse to talk about it and they are paranoid people will find out, almost like they're worried they'll go to jail if they found out but most of it is understandable. So far there's been no outright murder or anything like that.
And so far it's been ritualistic and accidental and as close to guilt free as possible so what are they so worried about?

What if that's a bit of a spoiler? What if there's a fissure and the group splits into multiple parties? More than just Coach Ben splitting off on his own? And what if they didn't just hunt down one pit girl but it was an all-out war between the two groups?
Natalie becoming the antler queen is bound to be polarising when she's spent the first two seasons alienated from the other girls by not only the massive chunks of time she has to spend isolated with Travis, but also her relationship with the guy that's been a shithead to everyone since day one.
We've already seen excerpts of Shauna's diary complaining that it wasn't her that got picked and we've seen her attitude with regards to most things. She's always had a sense of entitlement but she's surely not the only yellowjacket who isn't 100% on Natalie's side and will have reservations going forward about her leadership.
But more than that, there's already a bit of a hierarchy that's forming with certain characters being more valuable than others. The girls unanimously deciding Lottie can't die. Misty deciding Natalie won't die either. Taissa staying back and carrying Van home. The girls all banding together, making their sacrifices to keep Shauna from being killed during childbirth. Natalie and Taissa batting for Misty to keep her from getting a beating from Shauna.
There's a small insular community forming already with the main characters that doesn't seem to extend further beyond the mains. Not even to Jackie. Cause as much as you like someone and as loyal as you might be to them, what really matters the most out there is usefulness and on some level -maybe subconscious- the butcher and the medic and the hunter are people nobody really wants to risk, no matter how deep they are into the lore.
Anyway, it might be that or it might be something I hadn't even considered. It will probably be down to some controversial decision or maybe even perceived slights, but my theory is that the girls will split up into a second group and the traps are to hunt them down. That maybe when they get rescued there's still a chance of some more of them being out there but they sabotage their chance of rescue out of fear of them being exposed on how vicious things got and all the things they did not just to survive but to dominate the other clan.
Maybe that's why Natalie hides her face with shame from the reporters and blames herself the most. Because she feels it's her fault for being chosen, and starting off this chain of events. And because it wasn't just ritualistic cannibalism on the brink of death but a more active form of murder that they perpetrated out there against this warring clan of survivors led by someone like Mari or whatever. Maybe.

You are infamous for being eunjang’s tough, straight forward sports club leader.
You knew exactly what had to get done and when, and you made sure that it got done.
Everyone was intimidated by you to a certain degree.
It’s not like you were heartless, you just didn’t see the point in not doing things effectively and efficiently as soon as they were assigned.
You had grown comfortable in the consistency and solidity of your schedule, and you were in the middle of a peaceful break time when ben park busted into the classroom.
It was after school, so you were alone with an out of breath teenager that was hunched over in front of you.
You didn’t say anything, assuming he stormed in here for a reason, so you just raised an eyebrow at him.
Once he got his bearings, ben straightened himself and smiled brightly at you.
“Hey! You must be y/n, I'm Ben Park! It’s nice to meet you!”
He was the cheerful energetic type. Great. You avoided these types only because they were the ones most likely to dawdle and cause everyone to fall behind.
You kept your body and face neutral as you responded.
“You’re correct. Did you need me for something?”
Ben was visibly surprised at your abrasiveness, but he quickly got over it.
“Yeah, I'm trying to get my friend on the soccer team, but since he forgot to submit his form by the due date he wasn’t let in. He’s been on the team last season, and he’s really good, and I asked the coach to reconsider it, but he sent me to you. So is there any way you could let him join, just this once? Please?”
You nearly snorted at how desperate Ben sounded, already knowing your response.
“No. If your friend couldn’t follow a simple deadline, how are you going to convince me that he won’t skip practice, games, arrive late, or actually not perform well enough to be on the team? I don’t even know his grades or class rank.”
You had hoped that your response was enough to shut Ben down, but that was your mistake.
Instead, Ben's face lit up and he took your words as a challenge.
“Okay, I understand, but if I prove to you that he can be on the team tomorrow, will you let him in?”
You bit the edge of your tongue, mulling the proposal over.
Sure, you understood one bad day every once in a while, and you do like to think of yourself as a fair person so:
“Okay, fine. You have until the end of practice tomorrow.”
You narrow your eyes at Ben as he smiles widely at you, his body language brightening.
“Thank you, see you tomorrow!”
And he runs out of the room and that’s the last that you see of Ben until tomorrow.
The next day, you had barely made it onto campus before the sun was blocked by someone standing in front of you. You squint and look up, being met with Ben Park and a way too cheerful smile for seven thirty in the morning.
"Good morning, y/n! I brought Alex with me this time. Alex, this is y/n!" Ben moves so you're now looking at a different person. His body is more slender and lithe than Ben's heavily worked-on muscled frame. Alex was definitely fast, that much you could tell. He also was a lot quieter than Ben. You remembered him from last year, he was an asset to the team.
You relaxed knowing that your wager with Ben Park wasn't for nothing. You really didn't need to know any more about Alex since his record with the soccer team already speaks for him, but you were still wary about grades.
You took your thoughts and switched your focus from Ben to Alex, giving him a small smile. "Good morning, Alex, it's nice to meet you. Ben has informed me about your late application and your wanting to play soccer on the school's team this year. Is this all correct?" Alexs' eyes widened, probably not expecting to get straight to the point right away. His face dusts with a slight blush as he looks away from you in embarrassment, nodding yes. "Uh, yeah. That's true."
"Okay, how are your grades?" You press, wanting this conversation to be done already so you could head to class.
"My what- oh. uh, I'm in the B, B+ range." You nod. "Thanks, you can take your application to the soccer coach and tell him that I've approved of it and he can let you join the team."
"Wait, really?!" Ben butts in, nearly shoving Alex out of the way.
"Hey! What the hell man-"
"That fast? I thought you needed like his papers or something?" You politely smile at Ben's question and shook your head.
"No, Alex Go has been in soccer before, like you said yesterday. I know his reputation on the team. As long as he keeps his current grades up, there's no issue."
"HAH! Gogo, you sly dog, I thought you said you didn't do much last season?" Ben joked, taking Alex into a head lock. "Get off of me, you lump of muscle!" Alex protests, attempting to free himself.
"Well, if that's all, then I'll be heading inside. Class is about to start so I recommend you two going to class as well." You say, walking away.
"Hey, wait!" Ben called, causing you to turn around. "We're, uh, we're going to play pool after school today by the underpass. Are you busy?"
"No." You admit. "Well then you should join us! Meet us right here after school, we'll all walk there together!"
As much as you wanted to say no, you had already said that you having nothing planned. You sigh, mad that you've dug yourself a hole. "Sure."
Ben gives you a giant smile and waves you off, "Great! I'll see you here after school, then!"
"Good job, y/n." You mutter to yourself, turning away from the giant ball of energy. You were not enthused to be spending your time with a group of guys playing pool when you could be studying, but you weren't heartless.
You kept true to your word when the final bell rang and you collected your things from your desk and headed outside. You were met with Ben and Alex, “Hello, how many more are we waiting on?”
Your question startles the two and Ben is quick to answer. “Hey! You made it! Well, there’s Gray, Eugene, Gerard, Rowan, and Teddy, but I’m sure they’re on their way now.”
You freeze at the list of names. You were never one to enjoy socializing in big groups. "Um, okay. Sounds Good." You nod. It's just this once, then you can be left alone. You reassured yourself.
It only took a minute or two before you heard a new voice. "Hey guys! Sorry we're late!" You turn and see two more boys walking towards you, Ben, and Alex. "Eugene! Gray!" Ben cheers, waving his arms wildly above his head.
Eugene and Gray stop just before you, "Hello, who are you?" You look up and down at your schoolmate. He's short, considering the average size of males, and has an odd color of blue and gray eyes, purple-colored if the sun hits his irises just right, and to end the look, the boy has silvery ashen hair. If he's not Gray I'm going to have to rethink some things, you think.
"My name is y/n-" "And she's joining us for some pool! She got GoGo on the soccer team so I invited her as a thanks, isn't that right, y/n?" Ben nearly yowls, swinging an arms around your shoulders. "Y/n, this is Gray and Eugene." Alex informs you, so I was right. That's good, I don't feel like rethinking things. I'm already rethinking my agreement to go along with this.
"It's nice to meet you, Gray and Eugene." You end the introduction.

You found yourself spending time with Gray and Eugene studying, playing cards with Rowan and Gerard, talking about your cat with Teddy, and enjoying Ben and Alexs' constant banter between themselves.
It took a while to warm up to Ben and his friends saying good morning and acknowledging your existence in the hallways of the schools. And it took even longer for you to get used to constantly being invited to things. But you adapted, like you always do, and found a makeshift family in your new group of friends.

mannn honestly it would take ages to enumerate all my problems with it but these are the main ones
just a massive, massive tone problem. this show just has no clue what it wants to be and it's bad as hell as a result. the wilderness scenes in this season had some of the darkest stuff of anything in the show (eating jackie + shauna miscarriage + shauna beating lottie) and having all that next to like... misty's quirky reddit boyfriend just absolutely defanged it. the show doesn't want to commit to being either a quirky mystery/comedy or a gritty survival horror and because of that it fails to effectively be anything at all
misty's reddit boyfriend in general just sucked so bad. like what was that
the escalation from 'we're hungry' to 'let's draw cards and murder whoever gets the wrong one' occurred over the span of ONE EPISODE. one SINGLE episode without ANY NEGOTIATION. literally not one single scene of the characters even TALKING about it before it happened. what a joke. what an absolute joke. they had an entire season to build to it how'd they fuck it up this bad
this is a problem I had with the first season as well but the survival threat feels so told and not shown. like we're told all these characters are Soooo Hungry but none of them are ever actually like. fatigued. or ill. or Dying. like how the fuck is coach ben still alive man. it just makes the escalation to killing people that much more abrupt and the whole situation seem so contrived when it doesn't actually feel like they're in danger
just in general the show like. refuses to let any of its characters feel anything at all. shauna straight up killed an innocent man that she was having an affair with last season and the extent of the emotional fallout of that act is her making quirky Oh Whoopsie comments about it. like that would be an insane traumatic thing to go through and you'd think it would be the kind of thing the show would want to explore. but no. not on amc's yellowjackets
on that same topic. shauna beating lottie had weirdly little emotional fallout. like ik they didn't like each other but shauna almost beat lottie to death with her hands and seemed just like. kind of sad and apologetic afterwards. like you'd think that such an act would have some sort of extreme ramifications for her relationship with the group and her own emotional state but nah
in the same vein: this season did adult taissa SO dirty. all the little plot threads that made her story difficult and compelling last season have completely been dropped -- her wife and son were literally written out like 4 episodes in and we don't see any of the emotional complexity of her leaving behind those relationships. additionally the last season ended with her being elected senator (sth that could cause a lot of conflict and drama bc of the increased responsibility on her shoulders + surveillance and scrutiny of her life) and it literally just. never comes up again? like her wife is in a coma and her son is just left fully parentless and she walks away from her job as a US STATE SENATOR and not only are there no consequences she also just literally does not seem to care. I feel like the writers just had no clue what they wanted to do with her and so they just gave her... nothing. no conflict no emotions just nothinggggg
okay they did give her one thing. they gave her an evil alter ego. which is mad corny imo. last season it was weird and ambiguous enough that I enjoyed it but this season it was just so literal and on the nose and I did not enjoy it One Bit
similar to the cards thing lottie deciding that they needed to kill one of them at the end was so damn abrupt and stupid. like literally so pointless and out of nowhere
natalie's death was so silly and contrived that it actually made me laugh

She gets the girl
Chapter 1: Detention
Warning: swearing, lots of it, alcohol and drug abuse, verbal abuse, mention of smoking, implied sui*cide
Natalie
8am and Natalie was walking to school, hoping to get in earlier than everyone else, wearing the same clothes from yesterday, makeup smeared on her face and smelling like alcohol. As soon as she got to school, walked over to the looker room to take a shower and get some new clothes, hopefully no one will notice that she wasn’t home yesterday… or the day before… or the whole week.
After classes and skipping math class, she went to the back of the school just to smoke and drink a bit with the ones she called friends, they weren’t actually her friends, they were some guys that hanged out with her just because they were there, plus, she gave them free cigarettes and alcohol, yet it’s was the closest feeling to having a friend that she ever got.
“Now, look at this” said Kev “They say it’s the best in town” he pulled out a bag of weed out of his pocket
Natalie laughed.
“You always say that.” talked Nat
“But this time is the truth”
Before they could try it, a car full of jocks parked right next to them, ‘not again’ thought Natalie.
“Hey losers” one of the guys said. “They say if you take enough of it” he pointed at Nats alcohol “you could die, but you already know that, don’t you Natalie?” he said while laughing.
“It wasn’t enough for you to get your girlfriend to leave you for her best friend?” said Nat, everyone laugh, except for Jeff
“You will pay for this, Scatorccio” answer Jeff, driving away
The only thing Natalie could think of at that moment was throwing the bottle of Vodka that she had in hand, and it hit the car, she couldn’t even run, when she got caught by the teacher.
Lottie
“Cut” said Misty. “You did it perfect, I think you’re good to go” Misty turned off the camera.
They were filming for the school yearbook, to remember great times, Lottie was class president, so she had to say a few words, Jackie and Shauna walked to her.
“Hey, are we still up for today?” asked Jackie while holding her girlfriend’s hand.
“Yes” said Lottie. “You got the stuff?”
Shauna pulled out some dye and a cutter that she stole from Van, Lottie smiled.
“What’s happening today?” asked Misty, Shauna hid the stuff.
“Oh, nothing Misty.” lied Shauna. “Just football things.”
“Oh.”
The trio walked over to the locker room where the other team will be staying, looked for the uniforms and threw dye on them, found the balls and cut holes onto them, before they were done, coach Ben entered the room with the other team.
“What the hell are you doing?” shouted coach.
“Fun bonding activities?” asked Shauna.
Lottie and Nat: Detention
“You all know why you are here, right?” asked coach Ben, they all nodded “well, do your homework or think about your life until the clock hits 5pm, I’ll be next door.”
Coach left the room and the teens never said a word until Jackie talked.
“So, why are you here?” she asked Nat
“Why do you care?” answered madly.
“Geez, I’m just trying to make some chitchat.” said while turning to face Jeff, but then to face Shauna, she smiled.
“Why are you here, Jeff?” asked Natalie in a mocking tone.
“Shut the fuck up, you dick” answered.
“Hey” said Lottie “Don’t talk to her like that, maybe if you weren’t such an asshole, you wouldn’t be here.”
“And if she didn’t steal my girlfriend, I wouldn’t be here either.” said Jeff while pointing at Shauna.
“Don’t be such a pussy.” the big brown eyed answered.
Jeff rolled his eyes while Nat smiled at Lottie.
Maybe Lottie wasn’t such a prick as she thought she was, only because she was popular didn’t mean she was like the rest of the popular kids, maybe they could get along. Coach Ben entered the room.
“They told me you guys have to do some work for the school, due to the damage you caused in the locker room” he said while looking at Lottie, Jackie and Shauna.” And we can’t leave you guys without doing anything.” now he was looking at Nat, Jeff and Kev. “so, pair up or not, and do your work.”
Lottie walked over to Nat.
“Do you want to be my partner?” she asked as Nat nodded her head yes.
“Sure, I don’t want to look at Jeff and I think Kevs got it all right.”
Lottie extended her hand to Natalie, and she took it, it felt so right, like a puzzle pice put together, and in that moment, Natalie knew she had a new crush, so did Lottie.

Foul Play - Chapter 7
October 2022
"How many dates has it been?" Kyle's voice reaches Henry's ears as he steps out of the shower after practice on a Thursday afternoon. Curiosity piqued, he lingers at the end of the lockers, eavesdropping on their conversation.
Ben scoffs and slams his locker shut. "We've been on a few dates, but she's so hesitant. I can barely touch her. It's like she's a virgin or something."
Henry's fists clench, anger simmering within him as he hears their laughter.
"Soon," Kyle chimes in, his tone laced with amusement. Unbeknownst to them, Henry rounds the corner, his presence still concealed.
In a swift motion, Henry presses Ben against the lockers, his forearm firmly against his chest. "Don't you fucking touch her!"
"Fuck off, man. I'm just doing what you couldn't," Ben retorts with a laugh, while Kyle tries to intervene from behind, attempting to pull Henry away. Undeterred, Henry pushes him back, maintaining his focus on Ben.
"She deserves better than this," Henry states firmly.
Ben shakes his head, a smirk playing on his lips. "Deserves? It's not about deserving, mate. It's all in good fun. Remember? You used to enjoy that... before you fell for the dean's daughter."
"What?!" Kyle's shocked voice fills the air, and Ben nods, winking at him. "She's the dean's daughter? Why didn't you tell us, Cavill?"
"Because it's none of your damn business!" Henry's fist connects with Ben's face, prompting a grunt of pain. As he lands the punch, Kyle retaliates, his fist meeting Henry's cheek, causing him to stagger back against the lockers. Henry shakes off the pain, mustering the strength to lunge toward Kyle, but the shrill sound of a whistle pierces the air, signaling their coach's arrival.
"Hey! Save this shite for the field, boys. Keep it out of the locker room," the coach reprimands them, and their conflict abruptly halted. Kyle walks off with Ben, assisting him with his bleeding nose.
Henry winces, his hand instinctively rising to his own bruised cheek as he slams his locker open, preparing to get dressed.
"I don't know what's going on, but you can't be getting into fights, Henry. Professional teams don't want teammates who cause trouble," the coach advises, leaving Henry to grapple with his actions.
Sighing heavily, Henry rests his head on his arm against the open locker door. "I know, Coach. I'm sorry," he murmurs, his mind already preoccupied with meeting Millicent at the library as he quickly dresses to join her.

Millicent glances up at Henry, who appears visibly angry as he takes a seat beside her at the back of the library. Concern fills her voice as she asks, "are you okay?" Her eyes land on the bruise on his cheek, and she gently reaches out her hand to touch it. Playfully, she teases, "did you have a rough day at practice?" However, Henry remains silent, shaking his head and pulling away from her touch as he retrieves books from his bag.
"Something like that," he mumbles, offering her a small smile.
Millicent continues to observe him for a moment before redirecting her attention to her book, reviewing the day's class material. Over the course of an hour, they sit together, discussing school and studying. Eventually, she exclaims, "You're doing so well, Henry. I'm starting to wonder why you need my help."
"Thanks," he responds, leaning on his elbow on the table and smiling at her. As she briefly glances back at her materials, he takes a deep breath, mustering the courage to broach the next topic. "So... how are things going between you and Ben?" Henry watches as Millicent tenses up, shaking her head and keeping her eyes fixed on her book.
"Oh... I don't think we should discuss that," she replies, her voice tinged with unease.
Henry sighs, searching for the right words to encourage her to open up to him. "How can we be friends if you won't talk to me?"
Millicent rolls her eyes and finally meets his gaze. "What if I don't want to be friends?"
"Please?" Henry's hand gently rests on her arm, a plea in his eyes. She sighs, her expression softening slightly.
"I want to be friends..." she offers softly, closing her book as she looks back at him. "Okay," she takes a deep breath as she turns her body toward his. "We've been out a few times, and I like him but..."
"But? But he's too pushy?" Henry's jaw tightens as he digs his palm into his thigh under the table.
"No, not at all. He's been a perfect gentleman, but I can tell he wants more. And so do I, but..." She groans as Henry only stares back at her, waiting for her to continue. "I'm inexperienced, and I'm worried he'll be disappointed."
"You're a virgin?" He asks, already aware of the answer as she blushes, hastily shoving her things into her bag.
"This was a bad idea. You'll laugh at me..." She stands up, grabbing her bag, but Henry swiftly slaps his hand on it, preventing her from taking it.
"I won't. Sit. Please?" He watches her hesitate, removing his hand from the bag, and she finally retakes her seat, moving closer to him and lowering her voice. "You're a virgin," he repeats, more of a statement this time as she nods. "Believe me, most men would not be disappointed by that. But I have to ask... why? How?" He chuckles, stammering slightly, "I—I just mean... you're beautiful, Milly."
She blushes, nervously fiddling with her hair, unable to meet his gaze. "I never really had the opportunity in high school. And when I got here, after what happened with you, I pretty much stayed away from men..."
Henry groans, resting his hand on her thigh. "I'm truly sorry. I know I'll never be able to apologize enough."
"You won't," she confirms, glancing up at him as an idea strikes her. "But... I might have a way for you to make it up to me?"

i really hope they dont abandon the "the others are off the grid" thing with the survivors of yellowjackets, because taissa knew where everyone we've seen so far was, except lottie and i wouldnt really consider anyone besides maybe travis near the end of his life and lottie to have been really off the grid, because i do enjoy who we know is alive so far but id Love for them to sneak in at the end of season 2 that someone else is alive that we didnt think of
i'd rule out mari, or the other dark haired paler complexion girl they've introduced as a sort of stuck to the "background character and doesnt think of cannabilism and morality as intersecting at all" thing because we still need a pit girl and they seem the most obvious (besides the probably impossible but fun and also horribly sad to think about idea that its callie and they do go back but after shauna's mental state the last few episodes BLEASE DONT KILL HER BABY AGAIN)
and i doubt theyre gonna put in any more characters from the crash cause that'd feel like shoehorning it a lot, and tbh the only ones id wanna see are either coach ben miraculously somehow still alive(id love to see it, but give it to year 2 and hes a goner) or akilah which i hope they dont kill her off because i love her and obviously javi
which, it would be weird if javi Was alive and no one contacted him about travis, but i could see maybe their info being wrong and they assumed he died or something closer to the rescue or plot twist the guys still in the forest at the cabin or something because i dont see them revealing he's a secret character we've seen before, they'd recognize him after longer contact even if not immediantly
either way, id love to see them just add one more survivor even if theyre a minor character, because they dont really have a ton of them to keep just killing and hopefully they'd only need a handful for the like whole hunting girls and eating them thing
coach ben out of the options honestly seems the most obvious that he'd be so off the grid, and there arent really any loose ends to tie up with him like with javi or a possible reason to make him to Have to be dead like mari or the possible other pit girl i refuse to look up the name of rn and hopefully akilah is just, alive and well and off living a wonderful life and pls dont drag her into this bs,obviously besides the fact coach ben's mental health is Seriously waning and if they dont find kristens body (or another source of food which hopefully is something that took her body so they dont have to eat human meat almost exclusively this season) he could be next, tbf he's probably dying of starvation faster than the girls because he didnt eat jackie at all
sure theres also the long haired blonde girl with the baseball cap but, unless she gets way more screen time i dont see her making it out or having much of an appearance, i cant even remember her name if they even mentioned it but its either "gen" because that's a subtitle that pops up a lot, but it could also be possible other pit girl thats not mari but again, i could just be totally wrong

ok so basically our like franchise quarterback had been BR7 (big Ben - i can't spell his last name tbh) for so long but when he retired (after a shit last 2 seasons arguably more but no one wants to talk about that) we had to get a new qb so we used our number 1 draft pick on kenny pickett instead of oh idk drafting centers or guards to fix our shit offensive line but whatever. so we got kenny and everyone was excited and he started in the 3 preseason games and everything looked good etc etc except when he started during the season he quite frankly was kind of ass it was hard to watch. so when he got hit and was on concussion protocol and couldn't play, mitch trubisky (backup qb) started and look he also did pretty bad. so when kenny was able to come back he started again but still wasn't like anything big like we were still losing and then skipping ahead a little he got an elbow injury that was going to need surgery so he was going to be out and mitch came back in. the thing about mitch is i actually don't know his story im pretty sure he was the old backup for the bears maybe idk but anyway he was starting games and he was playing so so bad like oh my god . bad . so tomlin basically benched trubisky in favor of starting mason rudolph and the thing about rudolph is that he'd been backup under ben but Ben was kind of an asshole and didn't like give rudolph any guidance at all and when ben was hurt and rudolph had to play he wasn't very good and everyone hated him this is very important. so now rudolph was starting and everyone was expecting him to do horribly and basically saying our season is over but he actually did very well and we won the game and everyone was like holy shit and then we won the next game too and everyone was like rudolph is better than pickett and trubisky and tomlin just hates him bc it's rumored that rudolph is a trumper (idk if this is true) (tomlin is black and white steelers fans are racist idiots that want him fired even tho he's one of the best coaches in the league (17 seasons straight with no losing season lfg), that's all you really need to know) and that's why he's never started etc etc which is really dumb bc . it's not that he didn't start bc tomlin hated him, he didn't start bc last season he was ass u all called him ass whenever he played remember when you boo'd whenever he took the field and were actively wanting him to fail or did we all conveniently forget that but whatever what do i know. so because rudolph is doing so well and kenny is literally coming off of surgery, it was decided that against the ravens this week (today, the game we need to win for better playoff chances) rudolph would start kenny would be backup 1 and trubisky would be backup 2! someone in the media came out with information from an inside "source" that said kenny was mad about not starting and refused to suit up to be number 2 and it was a whole thing that blew up (mark maddon when i catch u when i catch u mark maddon) and it caused a lot of fans to start calling him princess kenny and basically call him selfish and conceited and stuff. so while talking to the press kenny basically addressed those rumors (which he'd already technically and indirectly disproven in earlier interviews but whatever) and said they weren't true he never refused he's following the advice of the coaches and health staff hes going to suit up as backup in the game etc etc. and then a picture of kenny mason and mitch came out where they were all laughing and smiling and joking around and yeah that's it it's kind of awesome to me

I was walking around a square near the court where I would play most of your games.
From the first moment we collide and made contact, I knew immediately who it was.
As a Spaniard living in London and a sports lover (even more of the Blue Lions), he was aware that he would come to the city soon.
He was surprised to see that he treated him as a normal person and did not ask for a photo.
Let's say...I thought you'd like to be treated as such, not every day you can walk around quietly without a monthoner of people asking for a picture or an autographer.
We both fell so well that we exchanged numbers, to find us again.
We had several departures, from joining us for lunch before your workout, to going out to the cinema and sharing a dinner.
After a few months he was encouraged to go more beech, invited me to one of his training open doors and then to a game.
That day I remember you kept looking at me, which caused you to be a few bares from your co-workers and coach.
Despite his distractions he managed to keep his goal to zero, which he celebrated by coming to me and being his girlfriend.
With a few words at that time I managed to say yes, kissed me in front of everyone and left to change and then take me to dinner.
This is how I am today grateful to have come out of my usual routine and come out to clear my mind, while taking some photos.

Wood shavings. Moth balls, something chemical in still quiet. Just grazes.
Place smells colder than it is.
The Bat waits even so. Reasonable cause hiding in his caliber - (Getting the readouts on some of this guy's pricier hardware, but it takes a few seconds and digital thumbing, file after file. After file.) - but that's not what has his shadow suspended across a faux pad/lounge with its complement of eclectic, not-quite rock-and-roll joints and a couple Fenders. (Thinks it's a Mustang that catches his eye, but easier to move on as stillness grows. Expands.)
He's not so sure nobody's home.
The Bat departs from the limelight; this blood orange glow that drenches the trailer (so-called) from somewhere outside. Scouts a chalk scuff of blow on a glass table. Shadow exhaling over carpet; couch; crystallized lid where glass becomes a code-locked cartridge within table's core.
Starting to nose out a tinge of panic here. All this. It's in the secrecy.
Velvet noises, skin on skin rustling over Egyptian linen. You can hear the quality of the sheets if you really listen. The small breaths passing from one mouth to another.
Toward the back of the trailer, a tinge of panic and something else—restraint. And then it shifts, this restraint. This dark braid of unrefined energy comes slowly, foot by foot, from behind a shoji screen.
The disdainful scowl, the surly pout, the cut of his profile, hollowed by too much work, too much party, too much time under fluorescents in studios. One would have to live in a cave not to recognize his face, but at any rate, Ben Solo, who ordinarily wouldn't be caught dead in sweats, stands shirtless behind the double-barrel of a firearm, squinting at the umbrage kneeling by his glass table.
Dark as it is, it's easy to spot the ears. And behind that, the lattice on the ol' Kylo Ren helmet.
"You got to be fucking kidding me," he hisses. "You? Even you come sniffing my way. This city."
He snuffs, skims the drop of shadow between them, pallid behemoth navigating his grotto with scotopic vision, eyes wet and black in a temporary brume of amphetamine-induced aniridia, mutant coach gun raised, the needle of the serpent's tail poised to strike.
"Reallyritzyfuckingtown, Gotham, par Southside." Grinding his teeth as he tracks the Bat with the barrel, Ben shakes his head. Whispers, "No, don't move. Hands where I can see them. I know what you're trying to do."
He tracks; he moves with military poise. It's not acting. Click, and that thing, that custom no one, least of all Ben Solo, should own, is loaded, locked, locked, loaded, like the corners of his jaw.
"Where was I when whatsisface died tonight?" His grin catches in that famous everlasting Gotham red. "Yeah, I know all about that. It's news. I'll tell you. You gotta hit the Iceberg for anything that's not fucking Drops, and it's shit. You think I'm panicking? TryIjustsnortedalumpofuckin'dryice. Jesus. I can't fucking work in this place. I have a set in two days. Gonna be in limbo, trapped in this fucking place for two days before that, before I get to live for a few hours. And that's touring, iswhatitis-done. But last year, I heard some pyromaniac freak called Firefly burned the west stage down, and everyone died."
Serpent's eyes narrow, shining with a joyless kind of mirth. Snake voice with the merest baritone timbre rolling beneath.
"So, I left this trailer at twenty-three-hundred-hours-to-buy drugs, Batman. Picked up some rocks from this other freakshow called the Penguin, which you already know. There's your answer. That's what you wanted. Now you got it, at the cost of wasting both our time. Now get the fuck out."
Gun to the hatch; and one has to wonder how the fuck he got in; but in Brooklyn, Ben saw rats like five feet tall. What was a six-foot bat in boots? Just another day in the fucking city.
"Go on, Bat. That's stage left there." He gestures with the shotgun he now lowers out of a radiant, misplaced sense of chivalry. "Beat it. You bother me."
Then, the panic the Bat clocked when his shadow passed Ben's threshold makes its voice known: "Babe? What's going on?"
A feminine voice and Ben freezes. Thaws, his face contorting momentarily into a hellscape of wrath. He raises the gun again, cocks it at the cape. Sniffs.
"Man, you're really fucking up my night."
The voice, keening: "Ky-looo?"
And Ben, seeming like he might turn on his heel, walk the five or so feet, and jerk the barrel through the Shoji blinds: "Shitting fuck." (More to the Bat, almost apologetically). "I told you, do not fucking call me that. What?" (Acidic, spitting, meant for the bitch too high to notice or care that there's a strange man decked out in high-tech rave gear hiding in Ben's trailer).
The panic in the voice melts into Halcion bliss: "I'm waaaait-ing."
"You'll keep waiting... there's V. on the bottom right. On the tape. Top up and touch yourself. I need to handle this."
"MMmndf, handle whatttt?"
"A giant bat."
"OhmyGod, grossssss."
Ben keeps his eyes and his gun on Mr. Cloak and Dagger, unflinching, unimpressed.
"It's just a bat, 'babe.'" He grins and blows The Bat a little plump-lipped goodbye kiss. "Don't worry. If it doesn't fly away after a friendly, animal cruelty-free chat, I'll shoot it right between its eyes, slice it up, and eat it off your ass like sashimi."
Trailer's like a vent. Oh, if that gun went off. The colors, the sound.

Yellowjackets x Avatar fic. Yes, no, maybe?
Oh the possibilities are 100% there!
Currently I am focused on Happenstance, my university AU & a Scream Au is being planned next so I can’t think farther ahead than that as far as an actual potential project 😉😂
However the potential is sooo there & it’s fun to think about! I know that Yue is the “obvious” choice for Jackie but I actually think that the important thing to remember is that Jackie’s story is intrinsically linked to Shauna’s. The way she haunts the narrative is key to the obsessive & toxic friendship between them & the way Jackie consumed Shauna when she was alive & left Shauna hollow & obsessed with her ghost when she was dead leading to Shauna’s ultimate grief fueled consumption of Jackie.
So this may get me #cancelled idk but we are talking about a Yellowjackets au so fucked up is in the writing on the wall 😉 I’d cast Azula as Jackie & Ty Lee as Shauna.
I think Chan is Jeff because Jeff cannot be a more relevant character. The whole thing about him is he is literally just some guy.
I think that Mai could be Nat & Zuko could he Travis & I actually don’t think this one requires any explanation cause it’s just very obvious to me. Maybe Kiyi is Javi. That could work.
I could see Suki as Van & Katara as Taissa. It just works. Aang is Simone & Katara’s alter ego sacrifices him to the antler queen in a car wreck & goes to find her badass ex who she once killed a wolf for, sorry Aang.
I have no idea what Atla character could be Misty lmao & I’m not sure who Toph or Sokka would he in this AU. I could see Sokka in Coach Ben’s role being the only normal ish person but I don’t like changing character ages too much. Idk maybe he’s like a year or older than Katara & the others & they’re in their senior year & Sokka got a job coaching?
I usually have a big role for Jet in my stories but I have no clue who he could be. Not Travis, Travis is Zuko & Mai is Nat I’m very stuck on those casting choices. And I still don’t know who Yue is. Mari? And she becomes pit girl? Sorry Yue but it would be fitting I can’t lie

Yellowjackets S2 E4
Ok I'm positive this episode we'll finally find out what happened to Van. We are seeing her in a flashback straight from the bat.
I think she's looking for a sign or some answers. Honestly my guess is that she needs a distraction to keep going. Like things are so bad she needs something to distract her from how bad things are and she's trying to find some deeper meaning in Taissas's sleepwalks.
On the one hand it was sweet that she was looking after her but even that has taken a turn lately towards the dark with Van using her sleepwalking to justify her belief in the supernatural so she doesn't have to just admit they're alone out there and just had a shitty bout of luck, and they're not being manipulated by some deity.
These flashbacks are flashing back to the woods though, and not some happier times, like Laura Lee's finding Jesus moment or Ben's flashing back to being with his boyfriend, which leads me to hope that Van is still alive and Taissa isn't heading to visit her grave or anything along those lines.
I am positive she's being led straight to Van though. Like 100% sure that this is where she's going. Why did she leave the car door unlocked and the window wide open though?
Oh and we're back to Shauna's family drama again. If I have to watch another random scene before we find out what happened to Van I'm going to throw a chair.

Is this what they call edging? Like we are so fucking close. I'm positive we find out in this episode. They've kept us waiting for TWO SEASONS! If not in this episode then when? This is torture 😭😭😭

Is Nat trying to compete with Lottie because she's banking on finding that Elk? Cause if she doesn't have a game plan here this is a horrible idea. We know she's not going to die but it could very easily have swung that way for her.
Lottie is definitely shady but I don't think she intentionally killed Trevor. I think Nat is just trying to find someone to blame. Is her new cult shady? Yeah. But you get the impression that she has good intentions and a cult personality she can't help. Not that she wants power or control, but that she's just given those things due to her personality.
At least adult Lottie seems to acknowledge her 'visions' are just hallucinations. Maybe they harken to some feelings but they're not visions of the future like the girls believed.
So everyone's just putting Lottie up on this pedestal and I don't think she really wants to be there so will she intentionally flub the contest to get them to stop putting all that pressure on her or does she feel like she has to try out of necessity?
The relationships seem to be really affected by this whole cult that's forming. Van and Tai for the most part seem to be split right down the middle because of it. I wonder if that's the reason they ended up parting ways, or if it was something that happened after their rescue. Like maybe they drifted apart or one of them was forced in the closet or removed from their town and they just lost touch. Whatever it was I'm sure it's gonna be heart-wrenching. These two have already weaseled their way into my heart and it's gonna suck so bad to see them parted.
At least there's still hope for them in the future. I am sure Tai is heading to see Van as we speak, so with her marriage ending, maybe they can kiss and make up and love happily ever after. Yeah I know how deluded it sounds but I just really want that to happen.
I genuinely do not care about Callie sneaking around.
The way that guy with Misty eats should be criminal.
See, I thought Tai was walking to the closest bus stop but she was going to WALK ALL THE WAY TO THE LOVE OF HER LIFE? Now THAT is commitment. IDEC anymore, I would go to war for these two.

Honestly I'm as sceptical as Taissa but sometimes you just have to nod your head and go with the flow. This might mean nothing to hee but it clearly means something to her girlfriend.
I just think she could afford to be a little more supportive.
Van isn't crazy she's just trying to find answers and meanings in a shitty situation because she's scared and this could make her feel a little safer. And honestly Tai owes her a LOT. Van blindly followed her out on that expedition that got her MAULED. I think Taissa owes her the benefit of the doubt on this.
I'm getting tired of the coach's flashbacks. They're not really bringing anything new to the table. We get it. He's traumatised and this is his form of escapism. This just feels like more filler to distract us from Nat's capture and Tai's Odyssey back to her wife. Not her actual wife but the one she forgot to take her heart back from after the breakup.

Yeah he's DEFINITELY out to get her. It's not a coincidence that she would put on that "birds of the tropics" playlist while he put on something with cats. That's visual storytelling at its finest. Is he very similar? Yes. But is he also a threat to Misty? YES. I do not trust him.
As much as I love Shauna we are so overdue on an update about Taissas's trip that I just don't care right now. If it's not about the Nat/Lottie competition and it's not about Van and Taissa I just don't care right now.
These people are using up the whole kitchen just to make a salad or whatever?
Funnily enough, I too was about to have a bath just now, but got distracted, so this is the one in a million time I can actually relate to Nat. The scene was cute though and I guess I kind of see a possible new ship forming here with Nat and Lottie. Like, I can see the appeal. They have that 'opposite side of the tracks' dynamic and they're also sort of rivals like Shauna and Jackie. I just prefer modern day Misty and Nat to the Lottie and Nat of the past.
There's definitely some symbolism with that queen of hearts having her eyes blacked out. Does it stand for Taissa sleepwalking or Lottie's visions or maybe another character who just doesn't see things like the rest of them, like Nat? Like, they consider her 'blind' to Lottie's thing so they blacked out the eyes and the card stands for her? Or is it a dead character like Jackie or Laura Lee?
Also is the card real? Did Nat put it there? Or is it another dream?

I mean they're all regressing to their teen selves but Lottie is like going back to her cultish beliefs? Of like whatever it was they believed in the forest.
