But seriously, when I first played the game, my impression of Cater was just some like preppy guy, and when I read his Ceremonial Robes Vignette, everything was normal, and suddenly the music switched up and went from the happy party vibe to the most melancholic, heart-wrenching violin out of no where, and suddenly the groovy art of him appeared and he looked so depressed and he was acting all strange, I though I missed something cuz the mood did a whole 180😭 like this dude is seriously sad, and reading his Alchemy Vignette just solidified the sadness of his character😔

Also, in the Wish Upon a Star event, when we saw everybody's wishes, it was all wholesome and hilarious, but of course they had to throw in that extra cutscene of the TreyCater angst of Cater not telling Trey his true wish, and Trey feeling like Cater doesn't trust him😢 like omg they just made the whole thing so sad.

In conclusion, I need Cater and Trey to stop being dumb and just talk😠

Trey while he is doing homework (before Cater gets done with his practice)

Cater while he is waiting for his club to start

Before they talk to each other they are unaware that you “pranked” them both

How it happened (Trey):

Trey was just minding his own business doing Crewel’s homework, when he heard a knock and then the door to his room opening. He looked up and saw you carrying everything you needed for the prank. He raised an eyebrow leaning back in his chair watching you set everything up and hit the record button. “Is there something I can help you with?”

“I just want to record your reaction to my presentation for class.” You say looking at him with a sly smile. He motioned for you to proceed and you clicked on the first slide. “People I would cheat on my boyfriend with” you speak before clicking to the next slide. “I would never cheat. I love him and cheating is wrong” you look at him waiting for his reaction. He gives you a cute smile before you click to the last slide, which had a picture of you and your other boyfriend that the present boyfriend took (it’s Trey’s laptop wallpaper).

“You had me worried for a minute there cookie” he stood up from his desk and walked over to you and pinning you against the desk “for that I’m gonna have to tell Cater.”

“You don’t have to tell Cay-Cay” a nervous laugh falls from your lips.

“Unfortunately I do little hatter” he leans down to whisper in your ear “and you‘ll be taught a lesson about trying to go through with this prank.” He placed a kiss on your neck before pushing off the desk and walking out of his room to get something from the kitchen. Cater most definitely hadn’t told him, but you’re still royally fucked.

How it happened (Cater):

You walked into the practice room where Cater was just playing random chords on the guitar as he sat on the stage. He hears footsteps and looks up. He smiles brightly when he sees you and sets the guitar down walking over to you. “Hey babes! Whatcha got there?”

“I need your help with something” you say setting up quickly, “It’ll only take a second I promise” you hit record as he sat on one of the large speakers. Clicking on the first slide, “people I would cheat on my boyfriend with.” Cater could only give a half smirk as he waited for you to continue. “I would never cheat, because cheating is wrong and I love him” you look at him waiting for his reaction.

“I love you to, but you realize we have another boyfriend right?”

Without saying anything you click to the next screen. Which is a rather provocative photo of you and Trey. (It’s Cater’s Home Screen). He just laughs. His real laugh. He stood up walking over to you and gripped your hips lightly pulling you close to him. He placed a quick kiss to your lips. “So unfair of you not to include us both at the same time” he mumbles against your lips. “I think it’s only fair to punish you and let our baby have the fun hm?” He leans down placing kisses on your neck as Lilia and Kalim walked in. Well, Lilia was walking. Kalim was skipping and muttering about something.

“Ah, young love” Lilia chuckled walking past you two to the stage “Get a room.”

Kalim finally stops rambling about whatever he was talking about. He sees you and smiles bigger waving like his arm was gonna fall off. “Hey prefect! Are you coming to the party at my dorm tonight?!”

(How could you say no to your friend) You and Kalim talk about the party a little more before he got told to get on stage by your boyfriend. You said your goodbyes and then walked to your other boyfriend’s room to prank him.

Trey and Cater converse

You are over at Scarabia partying the night away as Cater and Trey are laying on his bed talking and cuddling. The promised at least one of them would stay awake to walk you back. Cater was telling him about what happened in the music room. Trey chuckles just picturing your reaction when Lilia said to get a room. Trey then told Cay-cay about what you did a couple of hours ago. “How should we punish them?” Trey asks, turning the both of them to where they’re face to face.

Cater smirks devilishly. “They like to touch us right?”

“Where are you going with this?” Cater whispers his idea to Trey while trying to keep a straight face. Trey flips them over to where Cater is underneath him. “How long have you wanted do that?”

“A while” Cater shrugs and pulls him into a kiss. After making out and feeling each other up for a couple of minutes, the mood is broken by a knock on the door. Trey hops off the bed and opens the door to see an annoyed Jamil with a hand on your arm to keep you from running away.

“I believe this human belongs to you two” Jamil says shoving you into Trey’s arms and walking back to Scarabia.

Cater fake gasps “what did you do to get kicked out of Scarabia and escorted back to the vice house warden’s room?” He walks over with a fake look of disappointment.

“Kalim said Jamil said it was okay for us to go out on the magic carpet to see the fireworks he set up” you said looking between the both of them. “Kalim is surprisingly a good liar.” Cater got a text from Jamil saying you weren’t in trouble to which he snickered and decided to keep to himself.

“Trey shouldn’t we start their punishment?” Cater smirks at the taller male.

“You’re right Cater” he clicked his tongue “first you pull those not nice pranks on your poor boyfriends. Then you get in trouble with a fellow vice house warden. We know just how to teach you to behave” he smirks then he shuts and locks the door
