I lay in bed tonight and for the first time in months, a small tear falls from my eye and I can feel it comes from happiness.

And it feels… weird. Foreign. What did that feel like?

It comes from excitement about the future, about the unknown, the possibilities it could bring. It talks about the anxiety that it carried all these months and about the loneliness that it felt. About wanting to let that behind and move forward.

And I feel… scared. Out of my mind. I don’t remember how to be excited about something anymore.
