His roommates eyes are blurry with drink, and he’s swaying a bit, leaning his body weight against him. Hopefully, he hasn’t tripped and crushed anyone with his sheer size, because it wouldn’t bode well for the person trapped beneath the behemoth. “Are you setting up tonight? There’s these two chicks that want to get tatted up. Underboob.” Cassian waggles his eyebrows and grins like he’s just caught a glimpse of heaven. “Matching.”

I have a lot to highlight and keep tbh. aside from the book itself. (〃▽〃) This is my favorite among the three series so far. And these are just some of those breath taking parts I wanna re-read over and over again. -`♡´-

In this volume, the story literally showed a good harmony of reality and ideal that it wouldn't leave you doubting either the good parts or bad parts for all the ways the succeeding counter situations balance the feeling you'd actually experience gushing over when reading the latter. It sure is fiction but it didn't fail to show the raw and weak side of humans in a very accepting way. You would literally hate the bad circumstances Maxon and Mer had to experience but you would also love how they both will change its negative outcome instead in the most endearing way. "Especially Maxon". Being the prince that he is, I commend him for persevering a lot just to earn Mer's trust and love and everything in the rawest and most truthful way possible. He was never just a prince who sugarcoats everything just to appear manly and that's the loveliest thing about him, me thinks. Plus the bonus narratives of his refreshing reactions on normal social cues. <3

Hello! A bit of a random question; do you have your own names for the Speaker, Seer and the dog? My names for the twins change constantly, but I always name the dog Grim

I have a test game that I use to play through and make sure everything's working correctly, and I've been using the same names for them since the beginning. mostly because I don't want to give myself the added pressure of making up more names 😅

but my test Speaker's name is Calliope "Cal" Frost (she/they), Seer is Cassandra "Cass" Frost, and Dog is Rex 💙

Imagine with me for a moment because I can’t draw this but it’s in my head.

This song:

The scene is Astarion recalling his childhood. A small elven boy trying to stay warm on a cold winter’s night, snuggling into his bed and wiggling his little feet while he holds his head under the covers, blowing hot hair into his tiny hands.

Cut to him now, lying in his bed, thinking of Tav and the moments they’ve shared, of the warmth of their body against his, that comfort in the cold. He has this soft wistful look that turns bittersweet as he then recalls his time with Cazador.

Flashes of memory of the pain he felt, the fear of the light but also the dark, the way he had to give his body away night after night and send his mind away to cope with it. The loneliness he felt and the way he longed for comfort and love despite himself, to be refreshed and relieved from his torment.

Then it cuts back again to him and Tav is there, crawling into the bed beside him and throwing a leg over his to press close, and he smiles. Small and sweet. Thinks how easy it was to fall for them, natural and slow, nothing shocking or brutal, just a gentle thing that felt as simple as them keeping him warm on this cold night. And he falls asleep.

End scene.

It wasn't like Cassius had left his apartment that day with the intention of sitting on the cold ground in a cemetery, looking about ready to drop dead from exhaustion. If there had been any way to stay laying on his couch without actually losing his mind or giving in to the intrusive thoughts that just weren't going away, then he'd be there still. But no, instead he was here, staring at the ground, hugging his knees and shivering a bit. When he saw someone nearby, he looked in the opposite direction, as if avoiding eye contact could make him disappear entirely. It wasn't the worst idea he'd had yet. Please don't fuckin' look at me became the mantra repeated over and over again in his head, hands balling into fists so tight he could feel his fingernails slicing into his palms.
