Let's talk about cannabinoids. A cannabinoid is a chemical compound found in cannabis that interacts with our own endocannabinoid system. The big 6 are THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, CBC, THCV. Let's talk about CBC. Cannabichromene is antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antidepressant, anti proliferative (inhibits tumor cell growth), and reduces migraines. CBC binds poorly to CN1 receptors, but it binds to other receptors in the brian (TRPV1 & TRPA1), increasing the release of your own anandamide, the bliss molecule. Today's garden dab is... Super Glue Rosin (Gg4 backcrossed) Gg4 is now and forever shall be my favorite strain. Ever of all time. I think it has to do with the heavy amounts of caryophyllene. Caryophyllene is the only terpene to attach to your cb2 (body) receptors, reducing inflammation, and reducing pain. In studies, this terpene was also responsible for the reduction of alcohol cravings in mice. And I'm going to go out on a limb, and say, it also reduces the alcohol cravings in Nikki. Almost 5 years sober, my friends. After drinking, heavily, daily, for most of a decade (minus when I was pregnant with my youngest). Today is a day for celebration. I decided that yesterday, I was going to be finished with Lyrica. Bye Bye! I'm done. I had another month of pills, but I don't want them. To be honest, last night was awful. I had multiple panic attacks, head to toe sweats, shaking, and I almost broke down and took a pill at 4 a.m. just because I knew I would be able to sleep if I did. But, I got up and showered instead, and now, I am so glad I made it through the night. I didn't take any Lyrica for the first time in almost 4 years. Just had to make it through the first night. Today's garden dab is... Gelato Rosin. It's incredible. The end.😘 Hazel Grace. This dog. Somehow managed to actually break her harness yesterday with the force of her 40 pound body. We were visiting a friend's campsite, @karpy13 , and Hazel was attached to the Camper/trailer, on a long leash so she could roam around. Well, there was another dog passing by, and this dog sounded like a squeaker toy. Like a tiny, cute, little, fluffy, white dog. Hazel Grace, (not graceful), charged, and before anyone could react she had reached the end of the line and the harness snapped. This was a thick, two inches of padded fabric, reinforced, and it busted. Poor girl is not wanting to do the stairs this morning. I think her shoulder may be a little sore. We shall rest today...
