And, she is now in the dark. Usually, with Gelato, she flowers for closer to 10 weeks, but this lady is old. Pretty sure we planted her in November, then ran into issues with our plants not growing.....so she is definitely a señora. The terpene profile is not what I usually get out of Gelato. She is more sour than orange. Just overall, this grow didn't go exactly as well as I had hoped. But, hey! Cannabis isn't perfect and neither are we. Each seed is going to be a little different. So, this one may have just been not a good one to start, or maybe she's too old, or maybe something got screwed up along the way, but this is why I love growing cannabis. She has a way of keeping you humble. But now, she will be in the dark for a couple days before we chop. And the bugs do look great, just dont look at the sugar leaves🙈. This is what makes me happy. A beautiful view of Gg4. This cultivar got it's name because it made the scissors get all sticky and gummed up while they were harvesting the original batch. Gg4 is a combination of Sour Dubb, Chem's Sister and Chocolate Diesel (all sativa parents). This cultivar is high in caryophyllene, which is the terpene that gives cannabis its black pepper spice. This terpene helps with pain relief, because it binds to your CB2 receptors, helping to relieve inflammation, usually only cannabinoids bind to receptors. This terpene may also help reduce alcohol cravings. I say may, but at one month shy of 6 years sober, I would say it's working for me.
