succession but bruce wayne is 45 and tired of having to attend pointless board meetings when he’d much rather be plotting how to get rid of all the stupid money he has (he’s tried everything, invested all of his funds into gotham, secretly funded the justice league and hid it from his tax returns in hopes that the irs would bust him. spoiler: they don’t, they consider his anonymous donations to be charity AND WRITE HIM TAX BREAKS. he’s even given everyone at WE a living wage, offered free daycare, amazing healthcare, in hopes of making running WE so expensive it drives down profits, but all it does it ramp of productivity and stock prices. he’s in too deep. let one of his children handle it pls).

candidate #1: dick grayson-wayne, bruce wayne’s eldest boy, former cop, circus acrobat, college dropout and style icon (TM). he immediately takes himself out of the running when a pap keeps calling him “richard” and he shouts back “dick.” that’s his name, but no one cares. also his pics from his mullet era resurface. the world is never the same again and the board summarily agrees he’s too divisive.

candidate #2: jason todd-wayne. initially the main contender when alleged footage of him breaking into a very important wayne warehouse leaks. he’s shouting “reclaim the means of production.” wayne enterprise stock falls but the internet is in favor. he’s unfortunately taken out of the running as all legal records indicate—he’s dead? but there’s cute footage of a 13 year old jason todd ardently defending the historical accuracy and superb writing of jane austen’s pride and prejudice. he loudly proclaims he’ll marry mr. darcy at the end. his candidacy remains very popular and the internet starts publishing memes about converting to satanism and practicing necromancy to revive jason todd-wayne.

candidate #3: tim drake. a popular front runner for the old guard of gotham as tim’s also the heir of the drake fortune. unfortunately, he runs away screaming every time someone comes up to him asking about the possibility of taking over WE full time. a major scandal breaks out when he’s caught buying something in a shady alleyway, and people are convinced he’s another partying rich boy. until the full footage leaks and it’s revealed he was buying coffee beans from a barista in the alleyway behind a newly opened coffee shop. multiple coffee shops then make posts online that yes, bruce wayne has called each of them and offered them copious sums of money to NOT serve tim drake or anyone representing tim drake caffeinated drinks after 5pm and before 5pm. many of the videos feature framed photographs of fake wanted posters featuring a very tired looking tim. tim, on a caffeine withdrawal posts a tiktok ranting about the injustice of tyrannical parents think this energy:

candidate #4: damian wayne. except as a twelve year old he’s not really in the running, except he’s the only wayne by blood so some members of the board are gunning for him. one of them kidnaps him, huge mistake, and footage leaks of him chasing his kidnappers with a katana? appears. he’s officially out of the running but it also fuels calls for bruce to be liberated so he can actually parent his children. joke’s on them, damian’s damianess is 99% thanks to richard grayson.

candidate #5: cassandra cain-wayne. she takes herself out of the running but she’s a dark horse because everyone loves her youtube channel Cass Cayne and her business decisions for brand deals are top tier. bruce makes background appearances and the internet learns cass is def the favorite.

candidate #6: stephanie brown. she’s not a wayne? people think? are 99% sure? but like she’s always there? she dated tim drake? maybe? she calls bruce dad!

im so excited for invincible s2b now that it has an official release date… and that release date is march 14th

Let me talk about why that has me worried for the future of the show

‼️also no hate to any other shows mentioned‼️

I want to start with these two images :

invincible compared to the boys and now hazbin hotel has BARELY gotten any offical advertising on this level. The boys also got ads in times square for the promotion of s3 and the spin-off gen v im pretty sure but I could be wrong.

Don’t get me wrong I am rly happy to see an animated show get promotion at that level and I think more streaming services should do the same but why is it that invincible, a show on its SECOND SEASON gets nothing? The official invincible accounts have to do most of the heavy lifting themselves with generating hype on their twt,insta and tiktok. People complain that the accounts often make “an announcement for the announcement” but they have too! They literally have no other option! It sucks to see invincible show signs of a show thats clearly being tampered with by executive fuckery that has led so many other animated shows to an early grave.

Also I NEED people to realize that invincible’s release schedule NOT THE FAULT OF THE CREW

I see people regularly being rude and borderline aggressive to crew members online (which ive seen happen in other fandoms too) but the amount of people that were bitching and whining about the hiatus saying things like “this is why we shouldn’t let animators have good working conditions” and people agreeing with those takes were INSANE. The crew have no control over when the show drops or not, that is a decision left up to executives.

Now why could this delay be happening ?

a little bit ago amazon made this announcement to its customers:

this very well lines up with what many people began to speculate online as to why invincible had such a weird release schedule for season 2. They release the first half and get people hooked on the first 4 episodes ending on a massive cliffhanger and then release the second half after ads are introduced in hopes of making more money bc ppl don’t want ads in the middle of their shows.

Even then many people (myself included) think that it would’ve ultimately been better for the sake of the shows own hype to just wait to release them in March back to back all 8 episodes. Because the midseason break just kneecapped the hype the show had built up so hard and now many people are reasonably frustrated.

Because there was no clarity on when the show would be back. Most people assumed it would be a month long break for the holidays which shows have done for a long time. And then fake leaks came out that the show would come back in early January, and then the invincible accounts were virtually silent, and people were saying the break was intentional for fans to (recover) for ep 4. It was all over the place

What should fans do going forward?

Best thing you can do is stream the show legally if you can! TALK about invincible, don’t let the hype die out. Get this shit on trending ! Boost any official posts online showing that there is still a demand for this show! If you can, buy merch! Read the comics legally ! LET AMAZON KNOW WE STILL CARE ABOUT THIS SHOW!

Landlord just hired contractors to fucking Rob my roommates personal belongings without warning before our lease was up so we spent all day trying to recover what we could (nothing) and start the legal process of reporting and retaliation so I’m still in my old unwashed clothes bc there’s a curfew at the new place for the laundry room plus we had to haul out all the remaining stuff to our new place so it didn’t get stolen too meaning the living room is cluttered and unusable and we can’t set a lot of it up bc our desired setup involves the use of a second door for which our manager did not see fit to give us a key and openly declared he would not hire a locksmith to prepare until someone else had a complaint he could bundle with it (he says he does the same for plumbing) to save himself a buck and somewhere in this new building there is a squeaky fire alarm that feels like Chinese water torture that nobody is willing to fix which I tried at least listening to some white noise on YT on my phone to block out but now there is a little pop up window if you switch apps while listening which serves no purpose but to interfere with me while I’m writing this post which idt I can opt out of bc my YT premium sub (yes lol ik cucked) just ran out that i have no money to pay for again rn bc the latest monthly maintenance fee just plunged my checking account for the rest of the month into the lower single digits thus putting a temporary block among other things on shelling out on some wretched crypto exchange to buy meds online from an ancap vendor who only accepts fake internet money bc my actual state-insured doctors put up juuuust enough roadblocks that I can’t reliably get my prescriptions from them thus putting me in the same boat wrt those meds as the friends i have in jail sent there after their landlord saw fit to shoot one of their friends and have them charged with her murder by way of “provoking” him into killing her and holy FUCK do I hate living like this. Nowhere I can so much as lay my head in this garden of riches for a minute someone isn’t renting out to me on their terms exclusively besides the fucking sidewalk, and half the time that’s private property too

Not sure if you’ve discussed this before but have you seen the “Willyacos” Six costumes on Amazon? They’re obviously cheap knockoffs and not anywhere near the same quality as the actual costumes, but seem like a good middle ground between the Simplicity costume patterns and no kidding making a full on replica costume (for at least most of them… the Howard skirt leaves more to be desired, same with the Parr pants)

Better known as the infamous aliexpress costumes. Basically like with most pieces of popular media a (most likely chinese) costume factory takes whatever photos come up first in google search and makes the costume in the cheapest, fastest way possible, that still looks close enough to the photo. The six ones can be currently found from a few different amazon sellers and at least an aliexpress one.

I'm not saying they are good, or legal, but they are definitely better than the simplicity pattern. As much as some people defend the simplicity as a good beginner friendly alternative it is not good aside from maybe the boleyn skirt. You will be better off combining other preexisting patterns and easy tutorials (I could make a list if there is interest in this). The amazon/aliexpress at least aknowledge its six characters, that Cleves is red and not silver and has only shorts and that Parr has full lenght leggins.

Honestly it is a you get what you pay for, those costumes are cheap and in no way you can make something close to the stage costumes for that money (also if you ask me some are overpriced). But if it is for a halloween costume, for a group with friends, to go see the show in costume, go for it. The main point of dressing up is to have fun. And if doing the (not simple, fast, or cheap) whole costume making process is not your thing that doesn't mean you can't have fun dressing up.

Like you mentioned a lot of things leave a lot to be desired. But its more like quality is all over the place. I've seen some people who bought the costumes and from what I can tell. Aragon is a great deal for the price, it has the cutotut design printed, plastic stud trim and spikes on the shoulders (I've seen official kids disney princess costumes with less accurate details). Seymour is not bad but it has no tabs on the back and has rhinestone trim instead of studs or pearls. The other four are the old designs and look not great (there is another amazon store with much better boleyn and parr costumes).

In a way I don't support those costumes, they are profiting out of copyrighted material and doing it badly. But in this house we don't gatekeep cosplay. The point is having fun. So here are a few very low budget ways you can make those costumes look better.

First of all accesories, get a good pair of fishnets and layer them over skin toned tights, get a cheap karaoke mic and decorate it, spike pracelets for crowns, find some makeup tutorials and do a cool look, look into current and former queens with a simmilar look to you for hair inspiration. There are many things that make or break the look, if you don't have the most detailed costume lean into the others.

Then some cheap ideas for things you can add to improve the look: buy a half pearl trim similar to what the aragon costume has to add in place of studs, half plastic pearls for the loose studs on the cutouts, mesh if you want to add fake cutouts, strass rhinestone tape makes a great replacement for crystals for the boots (I'm actually working on a tutorial for removable straps with this). Add cheap boning to the skirts and sides of the tops for better structure (sewn if possible otherwise colored tape can do wonders). Craft stores sell gold and silver chains that you can add to A/S/C, a well shaped B or K even if it is painted cardboard finishes those looks. Costumes bought online aren't the best but that doesn't mean you can'd improve them.

CW FOR DRUGS, OVERDOSE AND ALSO VOMIT BUT THIS NEEDS TO GET AROUND

HEY. FUCKING LISTEN. THIS IS SO FUCKING IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF SO MANY PEOPLE. If you see the Vance Delta 8 brand being advertised, do not buy it. For the love of fucking god please do not buy it, at least not online. Most YouTuber sponsors are scams (not the YouTubers faults they need money somehow), but it made me fucking disgusted to see this brand sponsoring YouTubers and trying to get more people into their shit. This brand is DANGEROUS.

I'm a chronic stoner. I'm friends with a bunch of chronic stoners. I've also done drugs a lot harder than pot. After taking a 2/3rds of a Vance brand edible, I threw up more than I've ever thrown up in my ENTIRE life. It was fucking grotesque, not to get graphic but there was a pile of vomit the size of my entire body on the pavement when I was done and I had to get carried back to my dorm. This isn't a normal reaction to have to what should be akin to a marijuana high as someone that smokes every day and eats edibles frequently.

I wasn't the only one one who had a bad experience though, out of the group of people I was taking the gummies with, every single person has a similarly bad experience. At least one other person threw up just as much as I did when taking them a separate time. Another person who took them didn't know where they were. One of my friends is convinced he almost died, but that could've been the drugs making him paranoid. They would also make us sweat PROFUSELY when we took them, a pretty clear sign of lacing or otherwise taking a drug you did Not mean to take.

We definitely shouldn't have kept taking them after the first experience, but considering how well branded Vance is as a company, we first thought we might not be dosing it correctly ourselves. But every single time, without fail, one of the things I mentioned above occured until we finally decided to stop taking them. And that was fine, until the person who originally bought them sold them to another person (who I also know is a stoner) who ended up having a paranoid episode and needed help getting back to their dorm.

That's why I don't feel right not doing everything in my power to get the word out. I felt so fucking guilty knowing that those edibles got sold to another person I was aquatinted with on campus. I cant sit here and watch YouTubers I genuinely enjoy advertise this brand in good faith.

In hindsight, we assumed we had actually bought something like spice or k2. Could be laced too I guess, but it made sense to us at least considering our reactions along with the fact that LOTS of information on their website is nondisclosed, and also that Delta 8 is synthetic ""fake weed"" and so is k2. I'm not an expert though, this was just the theory we had to help us come to terms with what we went through.

Hell, the first red flag should've been how easy it was to get delivered to our college campus while none of us were old enough to legally buy at the time.

So imagine my shock when I saw YouTubers happily advertising this brand a few months later as being an eco-friendly, healthy alternative to just buying a cart or some edibles at your local dispensary. This is legitimately so fucking scummy.

I'm not saying every batch of Vance gummies is laced with spice or some other shit. CLEARLY not everything they sell is a dud because they wouldn't even be able to have these sponsors if there wasn't some amount of testing done legally. The sponsors usually use them at least a little, so it seems none of the sponsors have yet had bad experiences. But drugs are serious fucking business. And not only do they have these potentially dangerous drugs in circulation, once again they were also exceedingly easy for us to order even though none of us were 21. Who's watching YouTubers the most? Kids. Teenagers.

None of the videos I've seen Vance sponsor for have even been age restricted. Even if a YouTubers primary demographic isn't kids or teenagers, it is impossible to not know that a large portion of the audience is inevitably going to be kids in the early to late teens especially. Brands like this know who they're advertising to when they do things like this.

Who's to say for every 50 batches of Vance gummy packages there's not 1 dud package? Or that the company isn't giving out real shit to exclusively YouTubers? It's always better to be safe than to be sorry, especially when it comes to getting kids potentially hooked on drugs. I'm pro-drug use, pro-harm reduction, and pro-complete legalization, and I still think it is completely morally reprehensible for companies to be advertising drugs--but ESPECIALLY drugs that could be laced or dangerous--to children through the use of their favorite YouTubers.

Not to mention these sponsors like to subtly imply that buying from Vance and online stores in general is a safer alternative to shopping at dispensaries, something that is objectively so untrue it gives me tunnel vision when I think about it for too long. Dispensaries need to be CERTIFIED to be able to sell anything. All of their products must be lab tested or they can't sell them. They aren't allowed to withhold information from you. Not to mention MANY dispensaries (at least in the US) are Native-owned small businesses. Every single bad experience with a drug I've had was from drugs that I bought online. Chances are if you don't have to go to the dark web to find it, it's probably either a scam or dangerous.

Please please please spread the word about this. I feel like I've waiting for something bad to happen to either one of the people sponsoring these gummies or someone who bought some after seeing a YouTube advertisement. I don't want anyone to have to feel that guilt, and I don't want to see anyone hurt or worse over a shady YouTube sponsorship.

Don't buy Vance Delta 8 products for your own safety.

Disclaimer that my statements here in this post are provided as an individual, and do not represent Cherp Administration's opinions in any way shape or form.

I've had to stay quiet about this matter for so long for a number of complicated legal reasons. I'm not going to talk about those, because they're between Cherp administration and their lawyer. My hands were tied, but now they're not. It's time to address the elephant in the room. I do in fact believe the Thell sockpuppet theory. I, as someone who has worked with Thell for a considerable length of time on two separate projects, have seen a distinct lack of evidence that Insolent is or was a real and separate person from Thell.

I've seen the absolute joke of a contract, and I know that it's real. I also know that no version of any contract between the two that I've seen so far contains any information that would indicate they are two separate parties. They have been 'digitally signed', and as such lack a real signature, as well as any sort of means of getting in contact be it through mail, telephone, or a lawyer's office who supposedly looked the thing over and against all odds gave it the OK. I've never seen Thell share a single DM with Insolent in private at any point. He cites the reason for refusing to provide this information as being a breach of privacy, however such expectations of privacy only seem to be applicable to him. From what I have seen he's very willing to breach the privacy of others if he has something to gain from it. This was, as far as I'm aware, the big (but not the only) reason why he was ousted from Cherp entirely. A fact which he laments as being a breach on Cherp's end of a deal, allowing him to refuse to give up a server which was already paid for. Claiming that he was owed more money because his contract ended early. The straw that broke the camel's back was when he accessed the Cherp database and 'coincidentally' looked at a user's data claiming it was for testing purposes. This person was going to great strides to avoid him, showing up offline in discord and and not responding to anything publicly where he could see it. By looking at their data, he was able to discern that they were actually online and active, giving him the chance to continue to harass them for a response knowing that they're seeing it. I'm not going to name them out of respect for their comfort and privacy, but if they want to come forward at some point they can. As far as I can tell, he began Cherp as Insolent and grew fond of someone there over time. He couldn't begin a relationship as Insolent though, that would not work out at all. I think that he faked her collapsing under the pressure that Cherp was causing, lashing out more and more, until he could step in himself as a savior in hosting Cherp. Making him as his real self involved and allowing him to get closer to his crush. He even had a 'falling out' with Insolent around this time (remember when he claimed his servers were sabotaged?). Things didn't turn out that way though, they weren't interested in that sort of a relationship. It's at this point where bridges start getting burned. He acts out, he begins to get more irate. Problems continue to pop up, the only arbiter of truth about said problems being real of course are him. Problems which require downtime. It felt like he was doing everything in his power to separate himself from it all in a way that would inflict the most damage. To my surprise, him and Insolent are suddenly on good terms again despite the batshit things that he claimed she did. I've spoken to other people he's worked closely with in the past on other projects and this seems to be a well defined pattern of behavior for him. He will burn a project to the ground if things don't go his way, allegedly. There's a lot more to say, but I'll leave it at this for now. I don't trust him, I feel terrible that he's in charge of MxRP. I wish that he would have taken my or TT's offer to buy MxRP from him instead of going with some out of nowhere random that he only knows and can contact via a person who up until very recently he's been claiming to butt heads with (In case it isn't clear I don't believe AKI existed either). I'm not going to tell anyone to not spend money on MxRP, but I hope that people understand they should be wary. He's given a lot of reasons to be skeptical, I think.

Now that Geckos is out, I plan to work on the side stories for a little collection of them. "Don't" and "Dancing Bones" will be edited, but I plan to post them online for free as well as put them in the story collection.

I thought people might be upset that I was reposting it, but so far the reception has been kind. ;A; (I still feel bad somehow? But that's on me.) I'm gonna be vague for location reasons, but I live in one of the towns hit by a tornado the other day. I saw a map of it, and uh, I could've seen the tornado out my bedroom window if it had hit during the day instead of at night where visibility is shit. And if I hadn't been huddled in the downstairs hallway with my cats and roommate. I was panicked about the weather all day, and that was worse because it was the anniversary of Andover 1991 (a tornado). I lived through that. Uh, very luckily I lived through that, it hit my neighborhood and was scary close to my house, to the point the sirens 50 ft away or so were drowned out by the sound of the tornado. We had no basement and no good inner rooms or closets in such a tiny house at the time. I've been through other tornadoes since then, but none were as terrifying as that one. Before the tornado and after the reminder that it was Andover 1991 aniversary... I also got an email that I didn't get a job that would've been good for my disabilities. Like, worked around it well and not been too straining on me. Plus I would've worked with animals. I'm struggling financially, so writing is the only way I'm getting any income - outside of crocheting, and I don't want to fucking do that for money. I want my hobby back. I want to make gifts. I want to make OC dolls. I want my limited physical spoons for crocheting to be for ENJOYMENT. Not so stressful it makes me fucking hate crocheting. Which... yeah, I'm kind of there again. That said, I have made a few book sales, but... Well, I'll keep trying. I've got other novels cooking. I'll double down my focus, maybe. I will sketch more. Maybe I'll reconsider using something like Patreon, which... don't love, but like. What can you love?
