I've started making my way through the playlist hbomberguy made of actually good video essays by queer creators and spotted a comment of yours on the one about the relationship between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, which was fun xD red in the wild!
Anyways, just wanted to appreciate how both you and Blue and you are very good at showing your sources! It's always nice to know that the people you've watched for years have good habits after an event like this, and I hope you guys are among the people that get some new fans after this whole debacle, because your channel definitely qualifies for "good educational videos made by queer people"
I'm glad! Blue's much better about listing his sources and follow-up reading than I am.
To be honest, I loved the video, but my imposter syndrome always flares like crazy when I watch an essay like that. It might be the ADHD or it might just be who I am as a person, but I feel like I've lived my whole life striving to make everything I do the best it can be, and still managing to fuck up and get criticised for things I could've done better if only I never missed anything. It's an actual gut-drop when it turns out a source I used wasn't trustworthy, or when in older videos I only went wiki-deep for some claims and didn't check every source to be 100% sure I wasn't being goat-fish'd. And this being the internet, I can get criticized at any time for things I've gotten wrong years ago, since it's evergreen online and to the new-viewing critic it's as fresh as yesterday. It makes it hard for me to stay proud of my work past the first moment of "oh I would've done that different now". There's a cocktail of complicated, scary feelings around this space, no matter how little I actually have in common with the bad guys of this scenario - it's less about the reality and more about who my imposter syndrome tells me I am. I saw several people saying that the video actually made them feel much better about their own work because it made it clear that accidental plagiarism on that scale is impossible, but if my anxieties listened to reason I would've successfully machete'd them out of my skull years ago. I just hope I never fuck up badly enough to deserve an hbombing of my own.
But my own stress aside, the hbomb essay exposed a level of laxness, laziness and entitlement on the part of these plagiarists that I think is almost incomprehensible to people who actually create for a living or even just the joy of it. How hollow do you have to be to take in someone else's writing and not consider it, digest it, let it reshape your views and then formulate your own interpretation on it, but instead to file off the serial numbers and pretend it's yours, trusting that the person whose thoughts and words you valued enough to steal will never be powerful enough to call you out on it? I go down research rabbit holes because I love the frustration and thrill of putting something together! How joyless it must be to skim the surface and borrow someone else's conclusions!
I've sometimes had people email asking for sources on parts of my interpretation of various myths, possibly in the interest of source-citing for school papers (a nightmare concept in and of itself) and with very few exceptions I usually have to tell them "the only sources were the english translations I used of the primary source where the myth was originally written, like I said in the video, and the part where I said I was conspiracy-boarding has no source other than my own analysis of the given source, which is why I called it conspiracy-boarding" and I was always a little baffled by those emails - half the videos are introduced like "this is The Prose Edda" or "this is in Ovid's Metamorphoses" or "this bit is Hesiod" so what else could they want - but seeing the hbomb of the week made me realize that truly original analysis might not be what most people are expecting from a "thing summarized." They might be expecting a compilation of other people's summaries instead.

One thing that's been gnawing at me about the new Hbomb video and the... everything in it is the realisation how some people are "I always knew XYZ was a plagiarist!"
Okay, that is great. Genuinely, I'm happy that you recognised it early. But that is so, so hard to do nowadays. There's genuinely so much plagiarism out there, and it's incredibly exhausting to try and spot it.
Not just because a lot of plagiarists hide it with a lot of effort. But because there is so much stuff out there, it's impossible to be able to recognise it all. That's what makes it so easy to get away with it for so long - there's a decent chance it just gets lost in the noise, and nobody ever hits both your content and your plagiarised sources close enough together to notice.
How do I know this? Because I used to enjoy two channels run by the same person - one about media (primarily gaming, mostly sci-fi and horror), and the second channel was a "tales" channel, dedicated to recounting true stories, or urban legends. Think the Franklin expedition, the Bloop, or Dyatlov pass.
Well, I say "recounting", but during the video about the Donner Party I realised that I was listening word for word to the Wikipedia article about the incident. I'm not kidding, I pulled up the article and just. Read along. For the entire rest of the video.
Turns out almost all of the videos on that second channel are like this. No, there is never a single source cited (which I didn't realise because I was watching on the PS4 and didn't see the description), and a cursory glance at the comments showed nobody ever mentioning this. I know I only noticed because I'd looked up the Donner Party earlier that week (which is why I was watching the video), and recognised some of the specific phrasing. Until that point, the video had been presented as if the Youtuber was reading from his own notes, sort of like a half-freeform presentation based off of bullet points. Which it very clearly wasn't, now that I went and checked half a dozen of his videos and found the exact same thing happening in every single one. A few minutes of intro written (hopefully) by the Youtuber himself, and then just a reading of the Wikipedia article with no attribution whatsoever.
So now I can't enjoy either channel anymore, because I have to assume the main channel is also 100% just someone else's words read out loud without the original creators' permission. And even if it isn't? The whole thing is soured for me now regardless.
My point is that a lot of systems today are set up to enable this kind of behaviour, from the absolute deluge of "content" to the easy to replicate tricks like flipping footage and applying filters to trick people into not recognising it as stolen. And then the piece moves on too quickly for the average viewer to stop and wonder why something might feel familiar.
Nobody is a bad person for not recognising plagiarism, even if it is incredibly blatant in hindsight. But if you see a video or read a long essay, that makes grand claims and shows you a lot of different things, but never cites any sources... if you have a few minutes, maybe check to make sure you're not consuming something that was wholecloth stolen from more deserving creators.

Plagiarism Somerton
I obviously didn't watch the new James Somerton apology video ON his channel because I did not want to give that man the views and you shouldn't either! It has been re-uploaded and summarised elsewhere so that he doesn't benefit if anyone wants to see it.
The original hbomberguy video was wild to me because of all the stealing, I found it highly entertaining, loved all the Memes and it honestly did my imposter syndrome wonders! but then I watched the Todd in the shadows video and it really upset me.
He didn't just steal from other LGBT creators he lied to his mostly young LGBT audiance who were looking to an elder gay for guidance and to learn about their history.
Todd's video starts with a clip of James lies being spread by another person on a podcast, there's clips of people discussing his made up gay nazi fanfic he has presented as hard facts. He actively harmed his own community for cash! There are young gay men bringing that subject up in conversation being laughed at for falling for it and that leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
Now I'm not a part of that community but a lot of people I love are so that angered me a lot.
...and then he comes back with another apology video, conveniently within the three months he would have had to post something on his channel to retain his monetisation status weirdly?! In which he blames both a head injury and his ADHD for his theft - at no point does he address the lying in either apology video or any of the apology posts he made that I could find.
I have combined ADHD, when I was first diagnosed the NHS referred to it as ADD with Hyperactivity element but everyone seems to have gone back to calling it ADHD and that is the term used most commonly online so that is what I refer to it is as.
I am medicated but there has been a world wide shortage of my medication and I was without it for some time over winter, which was HELL! I got nothing done.
I am in no way a big creator, Youtube for me is a fun wee hobby that will hopefully grow and allow me to collaborate with other people with similar interests but ADHD is for sure a large part of my journey as a creator.
I've published like 7 videos and currently have around 10 being worked on because, you know... ADHD! *siren noises*
I know that I am forgetful sometimes, just for the record I also had several head injuries and concussions as a child because Lil undiagnosed at the time me truly had no fear of climbing or other dangerous activities so I have my script (because free talking a subject with this brain would be nearly impossible) open in one google doc and my research open in another. It's not hard.
That's the way it was at school, college and Uni too. James claims he went to Uni to do business. Every university uses anti-plagerism software for essays and has done since like the mid 2000's? so he knows not to copy pasta. He's straight up lying there.
Another thing he's lying about is his ADHD making him forget he copied things. Now if you tell me a joke that I like it'll stick in my head and I will straight up tell it as my own later, I've been called out for this many times! But entire articles? whole sections of other peoples videos? (he also flipped a fan Vid he had ripped off of another YouTube to avoid detection and tried to pass it off as his own) No that's not something you can accidentally do even with a swiss cheese brain like mine.
Weirdly all the the paragraphs James claims he accidentally copied were also edited to remove aspects of the Trans, Bi and Ace experiences that James markedly does not believe exist. Strange considering he accidentally copied them and assumed they were his own words? Imagine going back through a paragraph you think you wrote yesterday in the edit the next day and finding swarths of things you don't agree with there?!
Why am I telling you all this? Well because I wanted to put my two cents in as a creator with this condition, partly because I felt it was somewhat of an attack on us!? He's put it out there that ADHD creators are liable to steal from others and that's not ok by me. Also I just really like the sound of my own typing!
TL;DR : James Sommerton is a suck ass liar and he doesn't get to use his disability as an excuse for what he did! and...
****** ADHD DOES NOT MAKE YOU STEAL SHIT!!! ******
Also watch Todd's Vid, everyone saw the Hbomberguy one but this one goes deeper:

watching the james somerton apology video so you don't have to. this isn't entirely comprehensive, just a summary, if you want the nuance of his exact wording please just go watch the video
Tumblr media
opens by saying he's monetizing the video to donate the money to hbomb's team so they can distribute it to the harmed individuals, and if hbomb's team don't accept he'll be making monthly donos to wikipedia and trans lifeline going forward
talkign about how he's a bad representative of "the queer community" as a cis white gay man
he's reached out to as many people he harmed as he can, some haven't responded but others have been incredibly kind
he's extending a specific apology to Jessie Gender - he wants to be clear that he didn't report Jessie to the police, as is the common understanding, but a fan of Jessie's who sent him a death threat
wanted his channel to be "welcoming to every queer person" which is impossible - he says he should have made voices that aren't his more accessible, but he didn't
blaming the algorithm for his popularity over queer creators of colour, disabled queers, etc
he thought that crediting people in the opening credits of videos was enough, but he admits he was wrong - people should have been properly cited (personal note: come on man you went to business school. you know how citations work.)
he has obtained permission for use of sources in the past, but "most of the sources" he didn't get permission for
brought Nick on with the idea that Nick would write most of the scripts and James would voice them
james had to put out more videos to make more money because he was let go from work during covid and was also dealing with other stuff so he had to take on more of the writing (and we all know how that went)
[sic] "my intention was to use [giant blocks of text i pasted into the script] as a jumping off point that we would elaborate on when we did table reads but *I have memory issues as a result of a head injury I got as a child*"
the head injury is real, he has epilepsy as a result. I want to be clear here that we need to respect James' disabilities, regardless of how much of a plagiarist he is. however as someone with memory problems I don't buy that it caused him to entirely forget to cite sources over many, many hours of work that he did to churn out these videos.
"when it came to editing the scripts, I couldn't remember what I had written and what I had copy-pasted"
blames his unwillingness to take account of those issues by for example writing notes in the script so future james would know he copypasted them on recently diagnosed ADHD
he had to take on a bunch of additional responsibilities when his mom passed away because his father is illiterate and can't do the legal stuff you have to do when someone dies
Telos grew out of his need to crowdfund after his mom died because RBC's insurance policy was weird (and dunks on RBC which i agree with. fuck all canadian banks)
Telos was supposed to start small but the success of the campaign gave them bigger dreams for their films
he describes the plot of hsi final girl movie and then says "to those who say I plagiarized final girl by grady hendrix, read the book. it's nothing like the plot of the movie." talks about how "final girl" is a trope and if using a trope was plagiarism, then every slasher movie since texas chainsaw would be plagiarism. fair, but i'm suspicious.
talks about the details of having to move to ontario for better opportunities
realized that making movies is a lot more expensive than he originally thought and thus had to make more movie ideas (?? not sure about the logic here but ok)
James and Nick were both involved in writing scripts n stuff
"the intention was never, EVER, to take the [telos] money and run"
James regrets moving to Ontario
James is working with a producer now and is actually making something from Telos - he will make no money from this project
"I am not nor did I ever intend to be paid money from Telos"
stresses again that he and Nick needed to crunch to make videos to make more money and get more sponsors
describes his apology in december as "horrendous"
begins detailing his suicidality
people found James' address, he claims people showed up at his house while he was hospitalized for suicidality (I want to be clear: this is fucked, the people who did this should be shamed)
he's reactivated some videos on his channel that "dont' have plagiarized content" and has done some heavy editing on other videos so they only contain original content and revenue will be going to either Hbomb's team or the charities mentioned above
he's going to be releasing a new video written by him with cited sources
he has no sponsors now
"we didn't intend to have misinformation in past videos" - it was never malicious
he won't be relaunching his patreon but starting a new patreon account if people want to support him
hes going to "work his ass off" to earn people's trust again
"there is no excuse for what I did"
reiterates that he thought putting names in opening credits was fine
"I thought it was ok to [plagiarize vito russo] because the book was out of print and he had passed away"
he wants to make a documentary video about vito russo
"I want to do the work. I want to prove not just to you, but to myself, that I can do the work"
"I can't get across how sorry I am"

Urusei Yatsura Art Book Review!
Before I get into the review, I want to gush about how much I adore this book, the series as a whole, and its characters! I started watching the 2022 anime, after seeing a clip of it. The art style is so cute and very colorful!
Tumblr media
Prepare for a long read!
Tumblr media
I've been keeping up with this series a lot lately, I recommend it if you like slice-of-life mixed with some silliness (and great animation)! Recently, I started watching the original series, which is just as amazing as this one- there's also things that weren't shown (yet?) in the 2022 version of the series. I would like to read the original manga soon, too!
Alright,
Time for the book review! Please note that I'm not showing things in any particular order, and that I'm mainly going to be talking about how cool stuff is lol. I got the book from Ebay (that's what I use the most), and it arrived safe and sound a few weeks later.
Tumblr media
The cover art is really cute, especially with the two chibis on the bottom left! I really love how they went about shading Lum's hair in this iteration of the character. I don't have any translations for anything in this book, unfortunately, but we can still appreciate the art!
Tumblr media
Upon opening the book, there is a poster that unfolds- above is the front:
Tumblr media
And here is the back! The art on both sides is really charming, and the backgrounds are absolutely stunning, especially in that front image. There's just something about it that I really like, from Ataru and Lum's interaction, and the lighting: it works together so well!
On the flipside, all of the characters running is really fun to look at- each character is running (or flying) in a different way, it's subtle, but it shows a small piece of their personality, in a sense.
Tumblr media
This is the page before the character design section of the book, which is absolutely stunning: The artists use a lot of patterns and shapes, and I'm all here for it!
Here are some snippets from the character design portion:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One thing I really enjoy about character design is the expressions, and the various outfits the characters are drawn in. Each character has their own unique sense of fashion! I like Ataru's clothing choice, it's stuff that I could see myself wearing- comfy long sleeved tops and simple, cute button downs!
The expressions are so cutesy and cartoonish, I can't get enough of it! As a character artist myself, these pages are great references on how to go about fleshing out my own characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is Lum's character sheet, as well as the expression part of Mendo's- his expressions are extra silly so I added them!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This art for the Highlight and Staff Interviews are super cute! Lum's outfit with the suspenders is adorable- and the fact Ataru's outfit is coordinated makes it all the more cute!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The visuals for the opening and endings are stunning- I have to sit and watch them each time, plus the music that accompanies it makes it even better! I need to go back and watch it frame by frame, its a masterpiece~ I can't get over the use of color in this series, it's amazing!!! Take a closer look at the visuals here, it's worth it!
You know what, watch the first Opening/Ending here
And the second Opening/Ending here
And check out the channel I got these from (UruYatsu Sensei), they've got full episodes of another series by the same creator, Maison Ikkoku, and a few Urusei Yatsura episodes as well. I appreciate them uploading these, because all the other ones were those interpolated 60 FPS nonsense (ugh).
That's all I got for this review, I hope you enjoyed reading/looking at all the art here, If you're an art book enjoyer like me, I recommend getting this book! And check out the series (OG and 2022 ver.) if you're interested!
Thanks for reading! (Back of book illustration below)

"Mother God," the Ultimate White Thief [ramble]
Tumblr media
I was aware of Amy Carlson's death when it first hit the news (and subsequently AskAMortician’s YouTube channel), and I laughed and brushed it off. I so often fall into the trap of simply dismissing cult-related deaths, of thinking, ‘Well, another idiot died and it’s no one’s fault but theirs.’ But I watched the HBO docuseries and was left feeling somewhere between disappointed and pissed off at the pandering they did to these batshit, evil, and racist individuals.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I, myself, am white. If you are interested in yoga, meditation, or other non-Anglo spiritual practices, please learn them from people who belong to the culture from which they originate, and be mindful; do not appropriate from other cultures.
SECOND DISCLOSURE: This is a ramble post. These are just my thoughts and observations; I have not looked at academic literature for this post, and neither is it properly sorted. I may turn it into an actual piece eventually.
I could talk about the mechanisms of cult hivemind all I want, but something else caught my attention. I think Amy Carlson and LHW is a fantastic example of white [Conservative] women co-opting [appropriating] Eastern spirituality for their own malignant gain.
Watch this amazing, in-depth video that gives much more context and history if you don’t know who I’m talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f81Az_2Fvek I won’t be discussing the history of Love Has Won; this is simply me pointing out how common it is to see appropriated Eastern spiritual principles within these Neo-Nazi white ‘spirituality’ groups and talking about why this phenomenon may be so common.
I don’t think religio-cultural appropriation is always obvious, either. Yoga is incredibly mainstream (and there’s even a massive Christian population who bitches about it being ‘demonic’), and so is meditation; but both of these have been appropriated by the Anglo world from South Asian spiritual practices (and other indigenous cultural beliefs) with zero regards to their cultural origins. I mean, think of all the little plastic dreamcatchers you can buy at the store. Think of the growing popularity of “healing crystals” and how now even stores like Claire’s and Target sell jewelry meant to balance, or heal, or ease anxiety. These practices are beautiful, complex, and meaningful--and they are now becoming mass-produced, watered down, and stolen by some of the most insidiously evil and/or stupid folk on the internet.
Conspirituality is the term for this. Not the appropriation, but the mixing of it with a conspiratorial obsession with alternative beliefs, big government conspiracies, paranoia, 5G, aliens building the pyramids, you name it. It’s especially dangerous when white people are the perpetrators--now, not only do you have someone stealing from another culture and using those cultural practices to actively harm others, but this person, in their whiteness, now has social power over the oppressed groups who actually own these practices. And it gets rebranded as “new age spirituality.” The new age spirituality provides a sense of community and panders to the Covid fears -- and pre-existing racism and antiSemitism -- and provides someone, or something, to blame. Thus we begin heading towards the antiSemitic point of no return. “We declare peace on earth” my ass.
And obviously, Love Has Won is guilty of all of this and more. If you’re familiar with Amy and LHW, then you’re probably already aware of the time she went to Hawaii and then claimed she was [Tutu] Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes and fire, and the creator of the Hawaiian Islands. She is clearly not afraid to appropriate whatever indigenous culture she can in order to build her facade of being a god herself, and it’s specifically her whiteness (and perhaps schizophrenia and plenty of drugs) that emboldens her. This just scratches the motherfucking surface.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here, Amy takes credit for her Chakra system ‘cleansing’ sessions (which may or may not include poisoning yourself with colloidal silver). Further down the document, she mentions opening your third eye. Zero mentioning of the true origin of these practices, nor their cultural weight.
Tumblr media
This is the third page of her “5D Healing Guide” document. Not only is she claiming Chakra knowledge and healing crystals, but . . . I mean, come on. You can’t use Sanskrit and then claim the fucking practice. Also, nowhere on her websites nor ‘guides’ includes the Sanskrit words for the Chakras.
Like I said before, this shit is dangerous. The watering down of these beautiful spiritual practices and then subsequently claiming and disfiguring them is almost always tied to Neo-Nazism, QAnon conspiracy theories, and a rejection of common-sense medical philosophy. Why do white women in particular so often fall into this wellness-to-Nazism pipeline, even if they weren’t overtly racist before? It’s because these white folk will always fall into the comforts and power of white supremacy; and make no mistake: much of this ‘mystic spirituality’ is white supremacy. The power to take from cultures and claim it as your own -- and the immunity to criticism -- is also white supremacy. White supremacist spirituality isn’t just a spiritual belief, either; it’s a thriving market that is powered by racism and medical Orientalism.
But still, why? ‘Buddhism and Whiteness: Critical Reflections’, edited by George Yancy and Emily McRae, has a wonderful chapter [titled ‘The interdependence and emptiness of Whiteness’ by Bryce Huebner] which discusses the emptiness and fragility of whiteness, the teachings of Buddhism, social castes, and their interconnectedness. Whiteness has no connected culture; it is a feeble social category. What ethnic culture do white Americans belong to? Most cannot name one. Rather than connecting with their ancestral cultures, white Americans often choose to steal from others which are closer, and those from which they have the power to steal from.
And, as I’ve made abundantly clear by now, this is exceptionally dangerous. White wellness culture so often leads into the paranoia, the distrust, and feeds off of the pre-existing racism that is ingrained into every white American.
Tumblr media
“It’s the same thing with the Jews. It’s like Hitler knew the truth…” (said by Ashley Peluso). They explain that the dark forces conspiring against them, the ‘Cabal,’ don’t have souls. This is rhetoric that has excused entire genocides of people. Have you seen ‘NPC’ dramas in spiritual circles? This is that cranked up to the max.
Tumblr media
A bunnnnch of antiSemitic bullshit. The ‘Cabal’ is a common QAnon talking point; the Cabal are members of a Satanic, baby-eating, pedophile ‘deep state’ (and Donald Trump will save humanity from them??). Who is the deep state, you might ask? Well, usually it’s Jewish people.
“Hitler didn’t want to go into the same banking system as the cabal. He didn’t want to join their mafia, so they took him out and they blamed him. They are the ones who bombed the concentration camps, created dysfunction, lied, faked the numbers, they did it to themselves and blamed it on them just like they lie about Trump.” Those are the words of Ashley Peluso. It always, always, always comes back to hating Jews. In other videos, she claims that Black people are “out of control” because of Jewish “programming.”
Jason Castillo, the co-leader of LHW, is also on video saying the N-word repeatedly. He says, “There’s nowhere to hide, cockroach. A [N-word]. That’s what a cockroach is. An [N-word].” Love Has Won members also subscribe to the “All Lives Matter” BS, and claim that BLM is a ‘cult.’ How ironic.
And I won’t even get started on the racism of believing aliens built the fucking pyramids.
And, finally:
Tumblr media
I don't doubt it.

I decided to kill two birds with one stone (strangely appropriate considering) and make my fanfic into a comic! I think I’ll be doing both, a traditional fanfic on Ao3 and a comic version to go along with it since I have a lot written more traditionally already.
I’m trying to take any opportunity I have to practice art for my own original web toon and while I’ve been doing some characters from my regular DND game in addition to the character designs for Thrash and Yuri I can’t let go of this idea of doing a Stolitz one. I’m going to share my OG comic work and my DND stuff here too ofc but I’m super excited about playing around in this universe in a way I haven’t in my previous fandoms. I have never made fanart before that first piece, which while it wasn’t received as I hoped I super enjoyed making it and learning from it so I see this as another opportunity to do more of that.
One of the things I’ve loved most about joining this fandom, in addition to meeting some lovely and super smart people, is seeing the journey of an independent artist. I watched a video on a relatively small channel of an art teacher at the school she went to of baby VivziePop showing her sketchbook in college like 10 years ago and it was so lovely to see Angel and Alastor featured there and see how long she has spent working on these characters. As an older person who firmly believes you can do new things at any age (see roller derby, see art journey, etc) seeing a creator really find such a huge level of success in their 30’s is just super validating? You can get caught up in the “I should I have done this when I was younger, what’s the point now” mindset and that just ain’t it fam.
I struggle a lot with wanting things to be exact and drawing humans is so hard so it’s been really freeing to play around with someone else’s character designs, translate their style into my own, and practice drawing from reference in a more simplistic and forgiving medium like a cartoon show. It’s teaching me to simplify my own work, it doesn’t have to be this elaborate semi-realistic thing. I think I’m mostly learning the art of simplifying more than anything else with this.
I also want to play around with animation a bit in future too but that’s a project for another day. But here’s some non-rendered initial panels I did last night based on the Full Moon gif and I’m excited to share the first couple pages in the coming weeks.

I don't intent to go to war with anyone, but aweariness and I don't like being perspectived as a lair, in the end y'all can choose if I'm lying or not.
I will say this person was responding to my comments at the time so I genuinely believe they saw they were being called out and went and changed it
I know no one will be believe me on this because I was stupid enough not to take a screenshot but the person who made the original rumor has now changed it to the qsmp.co website.
Yes forever isn't listed as a member in the QSMP.co website
However that website isn't listed as a wiki, nor treated like one, it doesn't provide lore on the characters in fact for lore it tells you to go to their YouTube channel.
Clicking on forever if he was still on the QSMP.co site would take you to his twitch and twitter and given his last streams and current twitter fall out I wouldn't want anyone stumbling on that and getting a bad impression on my account so I understand it..
Is this an indication that QSMP admins are not on his side? Well I'd say it's as much an indicator as creators unfollowing him; so make that decision for yourself, I won't sway your judgment.
However one thing matters that's not what the post originally said, I'm all for changing your post as more information comes out but I feel this was done intentionally to cover up an attempt to spread misinformation Because of this comment.
yes I censored to protect their identity, but I do have uncensored version if push comes to shove.
Tumblr media
This is not what that person said, firstly the person who "defend" him claims to be a data scientist, who made an short easy about the matter.
They do not defend forever, quite frankly they don't talk highly of him at all, they simply say the issues isn't pedophile but a much bigger problem
Here is the thread, I recommend reading the whole thing no matter how tempting it is to stop the minute it goes against you belief.
Funny enough this user did not link to the thread and only showed the first page screenshot, then took it out of context.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Despite saying there's a link for whoever wants it there is no link just a TLDR that HEAVILY mischaractizes Ms Lopes statements in what I assume to be an attempt to decredit her and make forever look a lot worst.
Is this thread PR? probably!
is it saying forever isn't a pedophile because woman mature faster than men? No
Stay informed this will probably change too at the rate they're going so I have a recording of it just in case, but I can't excalty censored that so that's a last ditch restore.
Since I'm making more post Sooner than expected today here is a collection of the argument on the other side of twitter, name and username censored because I don't trust you guys that much, but I have uncensored version if push comes to shove.
Tumblr media
You don't have to take Google's translation at face value that's why I left the portuguese version.
Tumblr media
The lighter censored is to indicate multiple people having a conversation.

Bonus: do not be fooled some people are heavily upset by the thread and some even took to insulting the data scientist personal as well as forever.
Thankfully people below that have told them not to attack the scientist just doing their job.

This is likely the last post I'll be making today no matter what anyone throws at me about this matter, please not I will now be deleting ask to avoid them taking up space in the situation tag.

Analog Horror Review: UrbanSPOOK
[ Warning, this post will contain spoilers for the work of media mentioned in the title. This review will also contain mentions of upsetting topics such as the SA and SA of a minor. Please read at your own risk]
It has been awhile since I have made an analog horror review since, well, there have not been many series I have seen that has caught my eye. But, while I am not really “dazzled” by the newer content being put out there (minus Vita Carnis). But... despite me not really finding much of what is being released right now interesting... I found myself unable to not say anything about the series above.
UrbanSPOOK is an analog horror series detailing the exploits of an extremely violent serial killer who leaves paintings at the scenes of his crimes. That is it. The horror from this series is actually a little different than what we are used to since instead of something paranormal or extraordinary happening all of what we are seeing happen is caused by a presumably normal (although extremely deranged) man with no other extraordinary traits. In a way, this makes urbanSPOOK more realistic than some other series. Things like this could very well happen (and probably are happening) in our real world. This is more or less the extent of the plot. Each video is set up to be a VHS recap of the crimes of this serial killer recounting in detail how this serial killer murdered these people in the most violent way they could. And in each video, the paintings left behind by this person are shown.
I watched the entire series which was not hard to do since each video was under 5 minutes long. And I did not like what I saw.
For one, as many others have said, UrbanSPOOK does not really use the actual genre of analog horror that well. While I can tell the creator put some serious effort in those paintings along with research involving the methods of killing: the series itself is more reminiscent of a slideshow. There is no reason this could not have been any other type of horror or even just a series of twitter posts providing backstories for these paintings. These videos dont seem like PSAs since they do not state what organization they originate from or any other specifics like the dates these murders happened, approximate locations, or any other details that really give us a time or a place. With the analog format, you are supposed to be using analog formats of media to tell a story. This can take the form of a channel hijacking, old TV ads, old children's shows, PSAs, or radio broadcasts (among others). While the channel says the videos we are being shown are from supposedly “old VHS tapes”, they do not even show the old VHS grain or distortions most tapes have and, again, lack a lot of the information we already went over. There is no time frame for events other than “2 months ago” or “4 months ago” nor is there a location, or even any organizations we can trace things back to.
If this is supposed to be a PI or a family member of a victim raising awareness, why are they detailing the killings in such crippling detail when the focus should be on catching the guy doing this? If this is meant for police eyes only (which would explain the graphicness) why is there a number at the end of the video? If this was made by the killer, what would be the point in doing this when they are already leaving behind paintings at the scene? And if this is a news network: all of the above is still true but why is there no secondary voiceover? Why are they showing the paintings when those paintings do not help identify the victims and are evidence? Why are no specific locations being mentioned other than “the lighthouse” or “a mine”. At least with series like Gemini Home, Vita Carnis, Local 58, and Mandela, we have some sort of base location we get to be familiar with. We know why the story is being presented in analog format. It makes sense because the story is set in a time where that is the only format available. We have clues. This isnt giving us anything other than the phone number. And the phone number only tells us that the series takes place in Louisiana, near New Orleans, and is sometimes during of after 2001 since that's when that area code was introduced. And even then, DVDs were introduced in 1996 and surpassed the sale of tapes by 2003. This isnt to say people did not use VHS after 2001 but by 2008 everything was mostly switched over to the DVD format.
My point is: the story does not make a lot of sense in the format it is. Either the creator is having this take place in the early 2000s which... I guess can work but then begs the question of the phone number. But if its before then: the phone number itself is a massive continuity error.
That is not the only issue I have with the series though.
Sexual assault, themes of genital mutilation, and pedophilia are also pretty common or at least are openly displayed in the series. Grant it, these are traits the killer is shown to possess. These are not things being inherently endorsed or promoted. However, what I do take issue with is the fact that the series lingers a little bit too long on describing these acts and the violence that results from them and not really much else. While the series creator has stated multiple times on now-deleted tweets that he does not view himself as “having limits” in regards to his series and makes this mostly for shock value: I do not think this should excuse just how haphazardly the subject of SA is handled. Almost every episode of the series has something that is either blatantly rape or can be interpreted as a form of rape somewhere in the episode. And a lot of these scenes also involve children, mutilation, or the abuse of animals as well. This is in almost EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. And once again, these are all described in sickening detail.
Other than being “gross and disturbing” it serves no narrative purpose just like it being on a VHS doesn't. If this was supposed to make us hate the villain: we already have gotten to that point I think. If anything, we have gone well past it. But what also bothers me is that these themes also pop up in the creator's other work. This same issue is a near-constant thing with the other work they put out. I am not accusing the creator of anything, lets be clear on that, but it is not a good look to admit you make content for shock value, have SA be a main theme in your work, and then make a lot of art also about SA and the SA of kids while also selling the painting your in-world serial killer made of a SAed murdered child as merch.
If you want to address some dark real-world subjects, do that, other places have (for example the SCP foundation or Mandela). But doing that and describing the most graphic rape scene you can think of are not the same thing. Not only is it lazy, it just makes your series into torture porn. It serves little purpose. And when that is a majority of what you talk about: I am inclined to think you have more of a darker connection with that topic beyond using it to simply advance your art. Again, this is not an accusation, just an observation from what is public.
Overall, between the fact this series fails to really live up to what “analog horror” actually is and lacks any story beyond “here is this guy, he kills people in really violent ways, he leaves paintings behind, and did I mention he does fucked up stuff with their genitals” and it does not progress beyond that. It is edge-fodder without a coherent story or point for existing beyond being disturbing. The only thing that makes this series interesting is the fact its a person doing this and not a monster but after recent episodes even that is questionable. The fact that a teenager who spends a little bit too much time on Liveleak could have written this tells me its not worth following further. The horror here is the fact that something this seemingly loved by other people is this terrible in terms of execution and its ability to convey a point other than “look, a mangled human body I may or may not have SAed, be afraid”.
Over all I give this a “For the love of god try harder, and no not in that way/10″. While the art is well made, I have no idea why this series gets praise when it fumbles this badly at everything it tries to do. This could have been so good, why is it so bad?
And analog horror community, get better standards if this is the “new standard” of the genre. This is laughable.

I just got this cool idea for your YouTuber AU!
Maybe Billy is really good with video games, like when he's not working out he's beating everyone's ass at smash Bros so he's pretty much a pro at almost every game he comes across because he spends so much time on his consoles. So someone *cough* Steve *cough* encourages him to start posting his gameplay to his channel. He starts off with GTA, hitman, apex legends and he gains a bit of attention from it.
People love his unique commentaries, he's incredibly funny especially when he gets frustrated, he's unfiltered about his opinions on a game he doesn't like (he doesn't try and suck up to the creators and will gladly mock their games and call them out if he thinks their shit), he have a cringy intro he just gets straight to the point and the edits in his videos are hilarious (Eddie Munson edits his gaming videos for him. He just so happens to edit Steve's as well) He still posts his workout videos from time-to-time but begins to posting his gaming ones more regularly. He's evolving his channel whilst still keeping to the stuff he loves.
He gains a lot of popularity and followers from his new content and this creates more buzz about his relationship with Steve. His audience notices the room where he records his gaming is similar to a room in Steve's house, some of his shirts match the ones Steve has worn in his vids. And when Billy is livestreaming and ppl ask him questions about Steve he'll always deflect with a "who, that pretty boy? Yeah he's got a cute ass but I don't watch him" And "my sister's a huge fan of his though".
When he's live and someone comes into his room off camera, Billy will cut his mic to talk to them and he'll be chuckling and smiling at whoever's speaking all the while his chat is going Haywire trying to figure out who is it!!!
I think that would be a cool way to get Billy involved with all the dating drama, if you like this idea feel free to add it to your AU 💖💗💗
Hi! So I had thought originally to make Billy a gamer but then I thought he was more of a sporty type so that’s why I went with what he posts. I think in my planning notes I put in Max having a gaming channel or a twitch, I think she’d be awesome for that. I’m not sure if I’ll end up using it because I want the story to be kind of cohesive to specifically harringrove (but who knows because I’ve featured Robin. Also in the original post I snuck in an Argyle Easter egg no one caught yet)
As for the editing I mention here that Steve edits their videos!
This could be a cool concept though, with Max being a gamer he could want to try it too and she can show him the ropes. I think it would be pretty funny to add in live streams like you said, the chat would blow up.
Thank you for the ideas!! I love to brainstorm and I might sprinkle in things here and there~

God, Operation Mincemeat is Brilliant! - Jen S
Tumblr media
There’s a new show taking London’s West End by storm and what a show it is! Operation Mincemeat is a new musical by award-winning musical theatre makers, Natasha Hodgson, Zoë Roberts, David Cumming and Felix Hagan, collectively known as SpitLip. It follows the real story of a group working for British Intelligence who come up with an utterly wild strategy to trick Hitler and help win us World War ll. It’s fast-paced, silly and very, very funny – a perfect tone for such a farcical true story.
Having previously been performed at London’s New Diorama Theatre (2019) and Southwark Playhouse (2020, 2021, 2022), followed by an extended run at Riverside Studios (2022), this exciting new musical has made its way to the Fortune Theatre in the West End and is growing stronger every day. Opening on 29th March this year, the show has extended multiple times due to popular demand and is currently booking until 4th November.
Fans of the show are passionate, with some saying that they have seen the show 30+ times. This has led to Operation Mincemeat now offering a Loyalty scheme to show their appreciation for the support. If you have seen the show multiple times, you can head over to the Operation Mincemeat website and fill in a form to apply for £10 off per ticket for a group of 6 or more patrons (subject to availability.)
This is one of the things which makes me so happy for the creators of Operation Mincemeat – they care about their audience. When creating the show, as far back as 2018, they uploaded videos of what they were working on, to their SpitLip YouTube channel, asking for feedback on their working progress songs and sharing with their audience, challenges they were facing with the making of Operation Mincemeat. This is all content which isn’t usually shared, as creatives often like to keep things on the down-low until they are fully happy with their work. SpitLip, on the other hand, are collaborators and when watching Operation Mincemeat, I was struck by how much I felt that in the theatre.
I’ve tried to express what I mean to friends and family, but Operation Mincemeat just feels different. When watching it, I felt like I was as much a part of the show as I was watching the show. The atmosphere in the theatre was nothing but positive, with audience members around me spilling compliment after compliment about how original and creative the show is. With a cast of only five actors, something else which is special for this show is the fans’ support and enthusiasm for the understudies. Unfortunately, in theatre, there can be negativity towards understudies generally, when an audience member attends the show expecting to see a particular actor, but they see an understudy instead. Not at Operation Mincemeat. Fans are so supportive of every cast member that a bingo sheet has been created, so that fans who see the show multiple times can tick off the different combinations of cast members they have seen perform together.
I have seen the main original cast in the show (Natasha Hodgson, Zoë Roberts, David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall and Jak Malone) twice (so far) and both times, something went awry. Of course, in live performance, things can go wrong at any time, but the important thing is how the actors react and I felt truly honoured to witness how they dealt with it.
At my first viewing, it was just a simple misthrow of a hat. Not a big deal – they just threw it again and moved on. My second viewing, however, saw something which I loved with all my heart – probably the greatest moment I’ve ever seen in a theatre. Three actors were on-stage (Natasha Hodgson, David Cumming and Claire-Marie Hall), their characters having a discussion, when suddenly, Hester (Jak Malone) swung the door wide open, loudly and confidently making their entrance. The three looked at Jak. Jak looked at the three. Natasha broke the silence, “you’ve come in a bit early, Hester, I think.” The audience were suddenly beside themselves, realising that Jak had mistakenly entered the scene too early and we all watched as he slowly backed away, closing the door behind him. The three continued where they left off, only to be greeted by Jak re-entering a few lines later from the wrong entrance. Natasha, “there isn’t even a door there.” It was utterly hilarious and I was nothing but impressed by how the actors dealt with the situation. This is a funny musical and that was a naturally funny moment, so why not use it? The audience’s laugh was nothing but supportive and only brought us closer to the piece. It was a rare genuine moment in theatre, where the actors were just playing and what a breath of fresh air it was.
Another breath of fresh air, was my experience meeting the cast. Typically, I don’t go to stage doors after shows any more, partly because I don’t want to take up their time when they’re tired and busy. On this day, however, I was meeting a friend after the show, who was running late and as I was standing close to the stage door, the cast started coming out. I figured that this would be a natural opportunity to tell the cast how much I loved their show and I cannot tell you how impressed I was by the experience. Despite having less than two hours between their matinee and evening shows, the cast took as much time as was needed to speak to everyone personally, signing programmes and chatting about the show. It was the most chilled, personal stage door experience I’ve ever had, with actors who were nothing but grateful that people wanted to share how much the show meant to them. They were a great group of people and I even had the extra joy of meeting Jak’s Italian Greyhound, Dracula.
Every time something good comes their way – an extended run or yet another 5-star review - it brings me such joy, knowing that a group of friends who made their own musical have seen it go from strength to strength. It’s so rare that happens and I am truly thrilled for them. I can only hope that it’s around for many years to come – I’ll be cheering them on all the way.
Treat yourself to Operation Mincemeat tickets and have a great day!

5 Songs I'm Into Right Now
tagged by @zylphiacrowley , thanks!
It's gonna be tough picking only 5 songs haha, but I'll try to choose some from different artists/sources. Otherwise it'll just be 5 songs from a same game or something ( ̄▽ ̄)"
Eden - Deep Eclipse
youtube
Enstars song was to be expected - I would not be playing rhythm game after a year if I didn't like the songs. Picking one was really hard tho! Every group has at least one song I like.... Choosing between Majestic Magic, Artistic Partisan and this was so hard :/ Went with this since it's been stuck in my head for half a day lol.
CHANGGWI (Singyeo cover)
youtube
Okay I kinda debated between using this or Sailing but chose this since there's something I really like about how it's sung. I do not know enough music terms to actually say anything deep about it tho ^^' Anyway, SIngyeo has lots of other cool covers too so I recommend checking his channel out for more.
Zen Zen Zense (Mafumafu & Soraru cover)
youtube
"I'd begun searching for you many lives before you were even born"
Go watch Kimi no Na wa. No seriously, it's a good movie. And Zen Zen Zense is it's theme song that manages to make me still feel very fuzzy and wet eyed years later. Chose the Mafumafu and Soraru cover instead of the original RADWIMPS one because it has subtitles and I really like how their voices fit the song. For anyone wanting extra brainworms to work through: lyrics of this song would make for GREAT EmetWoL (or EmetHyth or any angsty ancient x shard) ship things :3c "Or maybe I should start the whole universe again from zero? (you can't prove this song was one of the reasons Firn came to be)
Bluish Light (Arknights)
youtube
Lumen's leitmotif! Nice and calm one, with some emotional singing and a pretty catchy chorus to hum along. Stultifera Navis event had bunch of good songs, not to mention all the other songs this company churns out. I was so close to picking Mizuki's leitmotif Y1K or CC#11 main theme.
Akatsuki Records - Idola Deus -The Creator-
youtube
Rearranged Touhou music, yay! Again, debated between picking this or KILLOVE FIREPROOF, but I've lately ben really into the lyrics on this one. Esp the chorus - "Go forth and create, oh earthborn children of Adam who pray" is just a really cool line haha. And the whole theme of a deity granting people imagination to create their future too!
As for tags uhhhhhhh.... @sunnythanalan @stalwart-spirit @arinaxiv @ffxivlilmeowmeow ?
As usual, no pressure to actually do it, if I tagged someone who already did it sowwy, if you want to do it but didn't get tagged feel free to commit tag game fraud and tag me on it. We ain't cops here and I'm not saying no to hearing some songs people like.

The first Bee and PuppyCat Storyboard 2012 @Scribd
Now that Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy in Space is scheduled to drop on Netflix,  September 6, 2022, I thought I would share some of my recollections as to how this special series of Natasha Allegri’s came to be. –Fred Seibert
Tumblr media
In the summer of 2012, my company Frederator announced that our Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel would be calling for pitches for what would be my fifth short cartoons incubator, Too Cool! Cartoons. As with all our other shorts programs, my goal was to bring new creator talent to the world. We’d already succeeded beyond my wildest dreams with Genndy Tartakovksy, Craig McCraken, Pendleton Ward and dozens of other cartoon creators.
But, Too Cool! was going to be different. Our other series had been kids projects only, given they were for Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. But, with Cartoon Hangover we had a chance to spread out to a world that had changed dramatically with the internet. Now, cartoon and animation lovers could watch pre-school shows now matter how old they were, the the world of adult oriented cartoons could spread out beyond The Simpsons and South Park.
The question among ourselves was what exactly did “adult” mean.
You can check out all the shorts to find out where we landed, but I have to say, when Natasha pitched the original Bee and PuppyCat storyboard (above), we were a bit perplexed.
Sure, Bee was 20-something, and she opened the cartoon telling us she’d been fired from her job. Adults work, right? And they get fired, right?
But, among ourselves, let me speak for myself here, I thought that adult cartoons that weren’t on network television had a chance to go a little farther than the PG stuff we all were used to. A little “edgier” –whatever that means– a bit naughtier? Whatever vibe I gave out, our vice president of creative affairs and development, Eric Homan, wasn’t sure that Bee and PuppyCat fit the bill.
We all loved Natasha Allegri’s work. Eric, in particular, had noticed her on the crew of Adventure Time, where she’s landed without any background in animation. Creator Pen Ward and Natasha had been trading “diary comics” for several years –both heavily influenced by future Cartoon Hangover creator James’ Kochalka’s American Elf– and Pen brought her aboard his maiden series from the very first day.
Tumblr media
And then, there was Fionna and Cake. I won’t go too far down the rabbit hole, but one day we noticed on Natasha’s personal then-blog, this web comic where she’d done the hip thing of the moment and done a gender reversal on Adventure Time. We loved it, put it on the Adventure Time tumblr we’d started, and the readers went crazy. I mean, crazy! Natasha did a follow up, crazy got crazier, and before you know we’d convinced Cartoon Network to do an 11-minute episode in the third season, and it got even more nuts, the highest rated episode until that point. A comicbook series by Natasha followed from Boom! Studios, and cosplayers started showing up to conventions as Fionna instead of Princess Bubblegum. We knew Natasha had the thing.
Nonetheless, was it right for Cartoon Hangover? Eric told Natasha it wouldn’t work, I had concurred, and she started walking home.
More BTS w/B&PC in Part 2.

Lucky Star
Recently had the pleasure to re-watch Lucky Star. It's been years since I last went through it and surprisingly I remembered Jack Shit about it, so it was in a way like watching it for the first time. Stellar vibes. Just genuinely comfy show, nice pacing, didn't strain or struggle to hit its marks, relaxed art style. The Lucky Channel segment made me smirk each time as the series progressed as well.
Konata is honestly such a fucking vibe, I'd say goals even but I'd like to think I take my education a bit more seriously. That said, her approach to her hobbies and the things that make her happy are admirable. If I could channel that, I'd probably have a better time of things, because the entire time I was watching Lucky Star I felt relaxed and happy. I struggle with taking actual breaks, and often just wind up stress refreshing instead of, say, reading or watching something I've wanted to indulge in for quite some time bit by bit. It really gave me the gumption to keep pressing Play and make the most of my weekend.
Tsukasa is a sweetheart. I feel for her struggles with day to day things, because she does try, but those attempts are always very difficult for her. I just wanted to give her a hug and want only the best for her, it feels like she's always going to be a few steps behind of where would be most comfortable progress-wise, so it's like you can kind of predict she'll have struggles in college too.
Kagami is also a sweetheart, even if she's got a bit of a shell to her. She's goal oriented, focused, dedicated. Goals in their own right really, I wish I could approach things as directly as she can, and point things out fearlessly. She's got such a sensitive soul though, as evidenced now and then by thoughts of romance or close friendship displays, by how she's practically rendered speechless and flushing with warmth.
Miyuki is just straight up adorable. I'm certain she'll make a wonderful doctor someday with how methodical she is, but her original reasons for becoming so knowledgeable are adorable. Wanting to be praised by her mother more? My heart. She really is Moe incarnate though, it makes you wonder how someone would react to her if she were a real person for how ditzy she can come across as now and then.
The later introduced characters all left their positive impressions, but the one who really stuck with me most was Hiyori. Just. Nerd to the core, with the added double strength of being an artist so she can participate in the lifestyle from the very core as a creator. There's something to be said about that, being able to look at the things you love then create more of it so others can share in that enjoyment with you. I loved every scene she was in, looked forward to seeing her more, and she made me want to re-read/re-watch different series I enjoy that focus around creating doujinshi.
All in all: major positive enjoyment of the series all around. It makes me want to try reading the manga too!

Sorry if this sounds dumb but doesn't little nightmares 2 happen after little nightmares 1? Like it's not a prequel to the first game right? Six escaped the maw and ended up on land where she them met Mono. I was watching a YouTube video that explained the games timeline.
Six acquired the yellow raincoat at the end of the mobile game after the other girl died. She then went into the water and got picked up by the ferryman and taken to the maw.
So I'm kind of confused lol. It would kind of make sense if Six's hunger was caused by the thin man but only if little nightmares 2 happened before the first game and I don't think it did. It's just as likely that Six's hunger could be a symptom that's unique to her, just like the strange powers Mono has are unique to him. Since all the creepy adults/monsters are unique and have their own individual abilities I think it would be the same for the kids.
Runaway Kid was extremely intelligent and kind of a nome whisperer lol. Mono has weird frequency powers and can travel through tvs. And Six seems to have a very fast metabolism which might allude to other abilities that we haven't seen yet, like maybe she can change her form/size under certain circumstances? We see her playing with the music box when Mono first finds her and then later after being taken by the Thin Man, so I don't think that's a coincidence.
Thoughts?
Little Nightmares 2 takes place before 1. It is a prequel.
I don't know if the Mobile game is canon or not. It wasn't made by Tarsier Studios, but it was funded by the same IP owner Bandai Co (who now, unfortunately, holds full rights which is why Tarsier is no longer working with them since they were bought by Embracer and Embracer refused to lose money to continue the LN franchise) That being said, however, just because the raincoat was seen floating in the ocean doesn't mean Six picked it up. I think it was meant to be a heavy visual to imply the girl in the white shorts is Six. The last we see of her is making her way down the mountain to a row boat below. We never see her actually pick up the raincoat. If you want to include the Mobile Game, Six somehow ends up on the The Nest (a mansion in the middle of the ocean) then rows her way presumably to land, where LN2 takes place, and then later is brought back out to sea on the Maw in LN1. The mobile game, official games, and comics have contradictory information in terms of Six's origins or rather, world-building as a whole.
if you look at old & scrapped game files on youtube, (X) and (X) Little Nightmares 2 may not have always been a planned prequel. It shows that Mono was originally going to meet a long-haired Six in an apartment in the city. At some point, she was gonna cut her hair. There's also a scene where Six is sloppily eating something in the apartment fridge, ignoring Mono. We may have even met a shadow Six earlier on. I think its safe to say the writers don't have a full understanding of their own universe, so if you don't understand something, its possible the creators didn't know what they were doing from the start and just sort of made things intentionally vague merely for the horrific mystery of it all? They were even considering adding the barber character, the one hinted to be Seven's old antagonist before the Maw (since his long hair is his style) I think even some of Mono's breathing audio was actually originally used for Seven in the LN1 DLC too (discovered this while I was editing that Channel Change video together) Anyway long story short Little Nightmares 2 is indeed the indicated prequel (even if it wasn't initially planned to be) It is unclear if Very Little Nightmares could be considered canon (Canon to Bandai, unsure if canon to Tarsier) tho canon or not, it doesn't necessarily interfere with the main game storyline regardless so it's pretty harmless as it stands;
As for powers:
I've been thinking about the Raincoat Girl / Five from the mobile game. Not sure what powers she has but I'd be delighted to explore that someday.
I have a BIG headcanon for Seven that I will elaborate on in the near future Mono has everything to do with tvs it seems. He can travel from tv to tv (signal to signal), he can time travel (reverse and fast-forward) he has minor telekinesis that can be transmitted to a larger range depending on electrical current flow throughout the city (?signals?) He has hypnosis (? people are attracted to him if there are no tvs ?) As for Six, we know nothing about her before she split into shadow Six. Shadow Six, or her hunger rather, took her to the Maw. When she reached the Lady and ate her, she inherited the Lady's powers, which appear to be soul-sucking/eating (along with maybe shadow proxies, youth-sucking/nome creation, and shadow teleportation) I have no idea what powers Six could have held prior to her hunger pains. (Some people have theorized that the Lady is much like The Thin Man, where she could potentially be a grown-up Six from another timeline, so Six and her would have always had similar powers in that aspect, but to prove such a theory is outlandishly difficult since we know so little about Six or the looping timelines.)

Fuckin James Somerton posted an "I'm sorry" video and I just
Of course I'm not going to watch that shit! He has had chance after chance after chance that we KNOW he could have done a lot better and started creating original content. There's. No. Salvaging. What he has done at this point.
He's just upset he got caught and all his dirty laundry has been aired out for the world to see. It's painfully obvious considering his channel went down and now it's back up and just ughhhh
Why am I trying to make a coherent argument here. I guess I'm just ticked off by the audacity of this man.
He has been caught red-handed. Multiple times. We know he has set someone up to shift the blame to. We know the sheer amount of disrespect he has both for these creators he has stolen from and for his audience, considering he indirectly admitted to ripping off people to their face with his stupid opening sequences and "based on" and re-uploads.
It's sick. He's sick. He has been coasting on the good will and trust of his fans all these years. That's gone now and he's desperately trying to grab some of it back too...? What exactly is he thinking he can do from here?
We know he doesn't mean it. Stop lying to our faces and just find a job that doesn't require sponsors and looking pretty for the camera. Learn an actual skill that doesn't involve ripping people off for quick cash.
