Sometimes I wish I could explain to foreigners what the relationship of Czechs and Slovaks is.

'Cause we really are like sisterly nations. We used to be part of one empire for a really long time, then were one country for a quite some time and yet we were always quite separate in our identities and yet close enough that we still argue whether something is czech or slovak originally. Our languages are so similar that we can easily work in each other countries but they're still very distinct and czechs for example don't know how to speak or talk slovak.

But it goes even beyond that. Like even though it's been 30 years since we were one country we always feel this bond and so we always are aware of what's happening in each other countries and kinda idk I guess you kinda feel like it's partially still a bit your country too, you know?

Like for example: There was historically a tradition of czech president talking to the czechs on Christmas. Now Czechs have an asshole for a president. Slovaks have by some miracle chose a really lovely graceful amazing smart female president. So on Christmas the Czech TV actually played a speech from Slovak's president. And idk I feel proud that they have her.

The brutal murder of a slovak journalist and his girlfriend couple of years ago has truly shaken czech scene too and is still being felt here.

Now that one of the biggest mafia bosses and a slovak's ex-prime minister is quite possibly going to jail the Czechs are rooting for Slovaks to get it right.

Idk if I'm explaining it right. But there's just this bond. And like we can talk shit to each other and hate on each other but at the same time we instantly click in any foreign setting and there's just this like no need to explain because we are one mentality, you know what I mean?

#idk if I'm explainging it right #and I'm sure that there's other examples in other countries like this #but the ones I can think of right now #are usually countries that have been at war with each other #and so they have this baggage #while we were never at war with each other #and our separation was quite peaceful and after an agreement

The one where Bruce is the asshole (again)

So! We have a typical story where the JLA finds out about the Situation in Amity.

Whichever way they find out doesn't matter, but either way they end up sending Batman to do a threat analysis and review of whether this requires their attention.

And while there, he runs into a Kid who obviously needs to be saved from his Abusive Home. Look at him, he's far too thin, his grades are horrible, he has many unexcused absences, and he has bruises hidden under his clothes.

Even after figuring out that Danny is Phantom the local Hero, he thinks Danny needs to be saved from his Parents.

I mean, it's plain to see! They Hates Ghosts with a Passion, negelct their son very often, shoot at him nearly every day, and are probably the ones who killed him in the first place!

So, with no input from Danny himself, Bruce calls CPS on the Fentons and uses his Wealth to expedite the process and avoid the actual Investigation. (I mean, why would you even need one? It's so obviously a bad home!)

The Fenton's are arrested, and Bruce reveals that Danny is Phantom to convince the Courts that they are horrible people for shooting at their own son, and that they should be locked up (ignoring the horrified looks on their faces, probably cause they were living with a Ghost for so long, thats probably why).

He immediately offers to adopt Danny, even when Danny vehemently refuses his offer. He knows that Danny will come around to it, he's doing this for his own good. He still thinks his Parents were good people, and not thr Villains they really were.

Meanwhile Danny's life has been completely uprooted thanks to the self-righteous machinations of an Adoption Crazed Fruitloop! And not even the usual one!

Sure his parents were often busy with their work, but they Always set aside time to hang out with their kids and make sure they were okay. They never abused him, the neglect was only for like a month or two when the portal before they got their act together and apologized for it, and (most importantly) THEY DIDN'T KNOW he was a Halfa when they shot at him! They only found out when the ASSHOLE revealed his Identity in Court!

And Danny is Extra enraged by that part. The Adoption Crazed Fruitloop had revealed his secret identity for the ENTIRE WORLD TO HEAR!

He would never be able to live a normal life anymore, even if he managed to get away from the Moron who caused all this!

Bruce Wayne was a Villain in his eyes.

He ripped him from his home and from his family (basically kidnapped), revealed his identity to the world so he was forced to stay with him for fear of the GIW, and spun the whole story so that it looked like he was the Good Guy in this!?

It was official. Danny Hates Bruce Wayne, possibly more than anyone else in the World.

And that's a High Bar.

I love seeing Danny Phantom showing up and being like ‘don’t ask too many questions but John Constantine I own your soul. All of it. Lmao sucks to suck bitch’, and he’s usually all Ghost King Full Regalia as he does it, at least in front of the Justice League, but consider—

He just shows up as Danny Fenton.

“yeah I got bored and collected the pieces like Pokémon. Gotta catch ‘em all” says the 5’2 teen who looks like a stiff breeze could trip him. He denies being a sorcerer, or a magician, concedes he’s maybe psychic but mostly he’s just…. The kid of two mad scientists—who have a basement lab where they opened a portal to what he SAYS is not hell but no one is frankly CONVINCED, by the way—and he hasn’t decided what to do with Constantine yet besides getting Danny into some r rated horror movies, but figures he should tell the dude probably.

What do you think of the voice acting of miraculous ladybug

Overall really great! I follow almost all of the VAs on instagram to track them down to anime conventions and get their autographs lol.

Main character Bryce unfortunately has the "I only know two voices - Good Boy and Slightly Evil Boy" issue, which is fine in ML. It just means when he pops up ANYWHERE else I can clock him immediately as either "Adrien" or "Felix". But I've met him and he's pretty cool, at least in the brief moments we've talked.

There are a feeeeew background characters that stand out to me as Not Great, but if I was doing the characters they were stuck with, I probably wouldn't bring me A-Game either.

#I'm on a mission now to get the VAs to sign the SL covers I did of their main character #Right now I only have Mylene's VA's signature on THAT but I've met Nino's current VA and obvs Bryce #and also Keith for Hawkmoth~#I just had them sign quick sketches I did lol #Bryce was the first ever and I had him sign a pencil pouch I'd bought and the signature smeared #and he was so nice and signed something for me the next day at no extra charge TT^TT #anyway I wonder if you can guess the specific character that I think phones it in #hint: technically the VA does 2 sub female characters so you can guess either one of them #ask zoe
