Tul's pain over choosing to lie to Waan about his name because he doesn't want to upset Waan or hurt their friendship despite how much he wants more from him is the exact pathos I was missing from VV with the secret name thing and I am so grateful that I can finally label that because I was starting to see the similarities and wondering about the difference.

The difference is that in Between Us it matters and we see the reasoning behind it. We understand why Tul feels he needs to keep his name and identity a secret and why he wouldn't tell Waan while we never got a reason or any emotional payoff in VV. Between Us has already given us that emotional pathos and that pain because we see how much Tul is hurting himself by lying.

This is what could have been if it had just actually mattered in VV,

The funniest thing about Dreamcatcher interactions is that I don't even think SuA is one of the queer members (Not that I speculate much about who is, although Yoohyeon is pretty damn openly queer, that's not speculation). I think sapphics tend to have boundaries with other women/femmes, whereas a lot of straight women completely lack those boundaries because at the end of the day, they're just having fun. They enjoy the reactions they get with the teasing and certainly the attention it receives. I think this is Bora, 100%.

The way Luz's thank you drawing got rejected by the person it was for when she thought she finally found someone who wouldn't make fun of her for her eccentric behavior, that she is worthless..and then the drawing does get recognized, that it's beautiful and why would it get thrown away.
