SO Phil is a fisherman and Forever is a mermaid :3c that's it essentially adkvnajsknvd

Phil is just a silly little fisherman in his boat and Forever is a curious mermaid who see him everyday near the same spot and starts to get attached. He'd definitely help 'catch' fish for phil aka he gets fish and puts them in phil's nets for him if he isn't catching that many. he'd find pretty shells that match the color of phil's eyes or striped bucket hat or pearls or anything he thinks the human might like and puts them in his boat to find!! Phil is local friend of the crows so if he finds random shinies in his boat it's not that strange but the shells? he would remember if he picked it up right? or if one of his kids (techno, willbur or tommy) put it there surely?

for fun you can totally imagine that after they meet forever would purposefully try get in phil's nets kjadvjkas that's his excuse to talk to phil it's because "oh no :(( i got stuck in your nets again :(((( looks like you need to let me out" and phil is like "forever this is the fourth time this week just pop out of the water if you want to talk to me"

phil does become fond of forever because i make the rules im sorry. he loves learning about mermaid culture from forever and tries to tell him stuff back about humans when he can. he'd also probably try and give things back to forever like trinkets or something because "holy shit you've been helping me catch fish this entire fucking time??" and wilbur's in the back like "I KNEW YOU WERE A SHIT FISHERMAN! YOU HAD A FUCKING MERMAID HELPING YOU OUT THIS WHOLE TIME!!!!"

last thing: if you want to be extra silly you can imagine forever kissing philza's cheek or hand in greeting because he sees the humans on the beach doing that all the time so it must be something humans like!!! depending where you're from i suppose it is but phil would NOT be use to it ajksndvjkadsvda you meet a mermaid for the first time in your entire life and not only is he handsome as shit but he kisses your cheek??? yeah, phil's silly heart is going to explode i think.

oh jeez fantasy with a prophecy au

idk whatever kind of prophecy my brain can spit out but it has something to do with a sun-blessed prince of the Hanamuras trapped in a tower and a mighty beast to guard him or something like that, which is why everyone thinks it's teddie at first. like, blond hair, blue eyes, extremely sunny disposition?? there ain't no way it isn't him.

This makes his parents very sad, because they know he's going to be stuck in a tower at 18 (at least thats how the prophecy went) but at least he'll be safe. but in the meantime, they'll have to lavish all the love they can onto him while he's still here.

unfortunately, this means that they kind of priorise teddie over yosuke. doesn't help that teddie is more or less beloved by the kingdom and anyone that has heard of the prophecy goes "oh you poor thing" to teddie, which makes yosuke feel like hey! everyone clearly likes teddie more, why do i even exist! i'm kind of a fuck up compared to him aren't i!

until like idk few months after he turns 18, yosuke is literally right outside and a tower cage starts growing, and captures him. as it turns out, some wicked witch having heard that teddie is supposedly the prophesied prince, decides that it really wouldn't hurt to take the other prince as ransom or for power or something idk and teleports him somewhere not quite far away, but not quite close to the Hanamuras' kingdom.

unluckily enough teddie happens to be caught up in it all as well, but the thing is. the witch has never seen the hanamura princes before. they have no idea what teddie looks like. which is why they have no idea that he's like legitimately the so-called sun-blessed prince. the moment they spot him, they go "well i do need someone to chase off any knights and whatnot the king and queen might send this way" and turns teddie into a dragon.

the spell fucks up a bit so teddie still has complete control over his thoughts and control over his new... dragon body. if the witch shows up tho, he doesn't really have anymore free command over his body. the witch kind of binds him to the tower as well, so he can't really leave. not that he would want to leave yosuke behind, of course.

now yosuke's panicking because a) teddie's now a dragon and b) this is ALL my fault oh god what do i do this is such a massive fuck up in the big fuck up that is me

he can't really escape, theres no way out and if teddie's bound to the tower like hell he's not going to try and find a way to get him unbound. and hey, at least the tower has food and someplace to bathe.

like a month passes and yosuke still hasnt found a way out of his situation. it's easier to beat himself up, but even that's grown mind numbingly boring. all he can do is sit there and wait, like some damsel waiting to be rescued. teddie however is kind of having a nice time being a dragon. he does not tell yosuke this tho.

One day later, Seta Souji is summoned to find Prince Yosuke.

(- theres a part of the au where teddie thought that if he went along with the prophecy it would make everyone happy, especially yosuke. but he's happier being a dragon than the sun-blessed prince that he's apparently meant to be.)

i'm hoping to get a first chapter ready to publish soon, but i've been workshopping a dimya equestrian/show jumping au for a while?? back when i used to horseback ride i didn't do show jumping but it's so fun to watch and i think it would make for a fun au. dmitry can't ride bc of a vague injury, so he and vlad recruit the new stablehand anya to compete in the FEI tournament, which would take place in paris this year, bc duh. her horse is pooka. they have no money and she does Not get along with dmitry. it would be a fun ride (no pun intended) :) and of course she is just using this as the means to get to paris so she can find her family, dmitry and vlad want the winning purse, etc. the fact that anastasia was a record-breaking teen show jumper ten years ago and vanished mysteriously and anya has a very similar riding style and skillset is just a coincidence. or is it 👀

OMG hello!! I cannot tell you how happy I was to get this ask-

Greatest Showman AU!!!! Of course!! It has been a long time since I talked about this au, and there's.......different routes for the au if that makes sense.

So to start off, if it isn't clear, most of my aus are made bc of me listening to music or musical songs/film music, and this leads to this sort of thing happening-

I made this au bc I watched the film and said "what if I drew my fav ships as the different songs?"........I still have the sketches for these that I want to finish one day-

It is a mostly Edgejeanist and Ectoloader focused au!!! (with a dash of some others)

(forgive me for my lack of knowledge on terminology and also for completely forgetting everyone's names /lh)

Main AU:

So basically follows the storyline for the most part!

Ectoloader are the married couple bc what kinda au would this be if I didn't make them a married couple /lh

They had the whole Childhood Friends -> Lovers things and do Circus Things together - they own the circus

Ecto did tightrope acts and I haven't figured out pl yet tbh-

Edgeshot is a Trapeze artist.

Jeanist is the guy that gets dragged into the circus by Ecto and they have that lovely Moment(tm)

Mic is the guy who gets the crowd all worked up, Aizawa does trapeze and that ribbon-y stuff- (lord help me i do not know terminology)

Cue romance and Circus Shenanigans between everyone!

Plenty of injury moments and fantastic performing stuff!

Shinya and Tsunagu get to have their 'Rewrite the Stars' Moment!

Ecto goes away to tour with Snipe! (nothing like the musical, just goin on a lil fun trip with a friend)!! Circus goes to shit!

FIRE SCENE!!!

Jeanist runs in to save Shinya, who was already out, who now runs in to save him- Tsunagu is very hurt.

Ecto loses his legs in the accident (suggested by an anon a while back and i really loved it)

Mic gets stuck, Aizawa rescues him!

Angst and Comfort ensue!!!

Not a lot of thought apart from "this is fun to imagine the characters playing as.....the characters..from the musical..."

All pro hero characters are kinda putting on a show, and these songs are being performed by certain characters.

(i have a big hc that Jeanist, Ectoplasm and Nighteye are besties... they're called 'The Distinguished Gays'...)

So the song 'The Other Side' just went perfectly imagining Ecto convincing Jeans to join him while Nighteye tended to the bar......idk its so fun to imagine in time to the music-

'The Greatest show' is All the teachers and their students and some of the ua alumni popping up and making appearances!

And finally 'This is me' is absolutely everyone, and they get to have their cool moments and show off themselves and idk that song makes me feel things.

I often imagine the canon universe characters acting/voice acting in musicals for fun so yeah lol

OOOOOOOOOO!! That could be so interesting bc like. Licorice grew up by the Licorice Sea ofc which is known to have various monsters within it. So one or both of them being a mermaid would be pretty cool and fit with the lore too!! Hello there! I hope your month is kind to you. Have you watched the Netflix Monkey King yet? If so, what are your feelings about the plot and the characters? Thoughts on the changes?

I've read a role swap fic idea LMK AU where instead of Tropitaka finding SWK in the mountain, LBD was the one who did it instead. Of course, she wasn't a crazy reformist extremist yet in when thwy met. Cue LBD seeing thia trapped monkey and thinking "i can fix him" while SWK goes "i can make her worse". It kinda ended up with both of them bwcoming worse for the turn because of each other enabling the worst and Macaque, who took SWK's plac with the pilgrims instead, sealed both of them together. Cut to the present where the duo came back and became big bad against Macaque, who's taken to protecting Megapolis as its shadow. The fic idea is under my #role swap au tags becuase the other details took too long to summarize the whole thing. Point is, in an AU where SWK is working with LBD instead of Macaque, but willingly, or maybe not, what would it take for SWK to turn on LBD, whether it involves Macaque or not? How do you think SWK would deal with MK, who is under Macaque's mentorship instead, while running the Lady's orders?

as for that au 👀 it definitely looks interesting but I will say, I personally think LBD was in her villain arc already when she finds SWK but the sentiment would probably be the same lol

it does make me wonder why Macky would be chosen as Tripitaka’s companion instead of SWK in this round. did he run into the monk just before he was supposed to meet SWK? was SWK already freed by LBD and Guanyin chose Macky as the next viable option?

anyway, for your questions

1) I think this SWK probably would be willing to betray LBD very easily. remember that when Tripitaka freed SWK that first time, the monkey had sworn to be his companion but immediately when against that promise once freed because the idea of serving not just a mortal but a pacifist monk felt insulting to him. so if SWK was freed by someone else who promised him revenge on those who hurt him but then he later found out was using him to wipe out the universe? he would easily dip

man’s has his own agenda and it doesn’t involve wiping out the universe and destroying his island with his monkeys

and if it concerned Macky? he probably wouldn’t show it, but I think he’d be very against LBD harming Macky and would even side with MK for it (but who’s to say that he isn’t against using MK either 👀)

2) yeah Sun Wukong and MK’s relationship would be so different in this au (but that even begs the question on whether MK’s origins are the same or he was created for the same reason 👀)

and if Macky’s mentoring the guy, then it’s a whole mess of using MK to get to Macky. also i feel like his revenge would be slightly different because I doubt Macky would have been able to kill Wukong in the past (maybe seal him away again?), so instead his anger is more out of Macky loyalties switching and allowing him to be sealed away again. he could even believe that Macky was simply doing what he was told because he was bound to the monk for the journey, and now sees MK as fulfilling that same role. maybe idk

tbh i don’t think evil!SWK and MK would have the same kind of dynamic progression that MK and Macky have in lmk. if anything, MK would be terrified of swk and his power but also be worried about the emotional toll the monkey king places on Macky.
