making a new yearly bullet journal spread is serious business (I drew 72 mini calendar grids and my hand cramped)

23.11.23 | the grand hobonichi conspiracy!!!

i finally broke into my hobonichi hon a5. i nearly didn't film a single second because it was two in the morning and my first instinct has never been to record what i'm doing. so many of my favourite things from my planners, fountain pens, howl's moving castle, and my little ghost friend are in a singular photo. i'm currently thinking about the fact i might need another planner, though.

I'm so grateful for having discovered bullet journals through tumblr a couple years ago because they really improve my quality of life compared to normal calendars or journals and yeah mine never looks as pretty as the ones you see online but it's functional and it's fun and that makes the difference

i had a book fall apart on me so i decided to use it as a backdrop for my august theme! it was the perfect thing to pair with these massive floral stickers i have and i think the effect is stunning especially in person

#bullet journal #bujo #i say stuff sometimes #i dont recommend buying an $8 copy of fellowship of the ring #bc pages started falling out before i got even a quarter of the way through the book #but hey now i have plenty of pages to work with #and theyre a perfect size to just slap on the page #an extra bonus is that it doesnt add much thickness to the page like my other setups do #bc my journal is THICCC and she needed a break #i got most of these stickers in subscription boxes and i LOVED THEM but theyre hard to use in my regular style #i’m stoked bc the flowers frames and window are all from different sets but are still cohesive

hiiii 👋🏻 it's already april.

took inspo from pinterest to draw the fairy but i changed her hair and face to make it look more like me and colored her and the flower with crayola crayons without worrying if it would look perfect or not. also wrote the lyrics of 'good enough' by Astro's Jinjin because this song is SO GOOD and Jinwoo as always created a meaningful song with intentions to make us all feel healed and motivated so i'm very very thankful to him 🥺💜

House Keeping Tracker

You may have noticed at this point that I've gotten rid of any reward system for my house keeping trackers. I didn't have one for February (by accident) and honestly I don't need it. Breaking my household tasks down to a weekly basis is really what I need out of my life.

I don't really like this set up in tracker, but I wanted to try and make another one where I can add more chores. Especially since I have to change my vacuum cleaner bag in March.

At some point, I need to write down all the chores that need to be done on a permanent list so I don't keep wondering if I'm forgetting something.
