✨️ Industria (389) Persona Chart Edition ✨️
Having a 5th house stellium can indicate that you will work in the creative field or with children in general, it can also indicate that your own children will interfere in your career like bringing your children with you to your job (and this can cause problems to you depending on the planets we're talking about).
career examples: being a teacher, a pediatrician, a performer, an artist
Sun conjunct mercury indicates your job has a lot to do with communicating yourself/speaking in general, your job is a lot about languages or just communicating in general.
career examples: being a teacher (again), a singer, a mailman, etc. it reminds me of hermes in greek mythology
Having a 2nd house stellium is a huge indicator of having a job that brings you financial comfort and gains in general, you're probably the "official" supporter of the house financially.
Virgo stellium in this chart shows someone bery hardworker, to the point where it's even obsessive depending on the planets and aspects, people can even take advantage of you because you have no problem with doing the "dirty work".
7th house moon is an indicator you have a soft heart in your job space and a lot of peoole with bad intentions take advantage of your kindness, you need to set your boundaries, seriously.
3rd house venus = gossips about your love life in your job space?? 👀 just a guess
Neptune square moon can indicate that you're very uncertain or lost when it comes to choosing what your heart wants for a profession, you feel like there isn't a dream job for you and you'll just get on with life lol. I think this also applies specially if you have pisces personal placements or a stellium in this chart.
On the other side, and kind of surprisingly, moon conjunct neptune can indicate that you've always dreamt about a certain job and it fits you like a glove.
Mars in the 8th house can mean you like to work alone, secretly, you don't like to be ordered around much and you hate when people invade your privacy in your work space.
Having a libra venus in this chart can indicate your beauty and charm have a huge impact on your job.
celebrity example: Taehyung from BTS
Having a libra midheaven can mean your aesthetic has a huge impact on others, you can influenciate a lot of people from your profession.
celebrity example: Lana Del Rey
I think Taurus stellium is a huge indicator of talent and a gorgeous aura in general that makes people pulled in by you in your job space. You'll probably work in the comestics/fashion area (sometimes people forget that venus also rules taurus but let's give them some credits too here lmao)
Mercury in the 5th house: you communicate yourself so pretty, so beautifully in your job, your words and/or voice let people in awe, this has a siren effect but not necessarily a singing voice. Your words can be hypnotizing and your diction too
7th house venus or stellium can indicate your romantic life impacts on your job immensely, even negatively if you're not careful. Also, it can mean you'll find your significant others in your profession field.
Pluto sextile sun means you impose yourself beautifully in your profession, you have an impact on others in a gracious but unforgettable way.
1st house moon can mean you pour your heart out when you're really trying hard to leave an impression through your job. This can also means you care a lot about how others perceive your appearance and this affects you really personally
5th house venus is so pretty, I wish I had it in my chart lol, this person really knows how to use her creativity to make her job properly, she has a natural talent for what she does.
Having a combo of positive aspects between the moon/venus/asc in this chart can indicate your femininity is very in tune in your profession field, you can come off as really beautiful and "in form"/put together when you're working, you just know how to have the ideal vibes, you know? This is very beautiful.
1° Sun means you can show your ego pretty easily when you're in your job space, unless neptune is aspecting it or it's in pisces, then you can hide it pretty well, but you still can be very certain about your abilities and even your appearance, this can indicate a natural leader.
A Leo or Aquarius MC is the true trendsetter of their professional field, they have the best ideas and they're always ahead of others, they can be really inovative. Leo can do it in a more traditional way that still works and leave an impact, in a big and colorful way, aquarius make it in a standing way that leaves people shocked with their ideas, they do that crazy thought that others are scared. The Leo MC knows that they're the royalty and the Aquarius MC knows that they're the mastermind. This duo can work greatly together, their ideas mix pretty well.
1st house Mars in aries are such fast workers!! they do their job pretty fast
I've talked about virgo stellium, but Capricorn stellium are the TRUE workaholics and they do the hard job without an ounce of laziness, they're down for anything as long as it makes them satisfied with fulfilling a useful meaning to them and with ✨️money✨️ of course lol
Speaking of capricorn, having a Capricorn MC means you have fame of doing your job impeccably, you're not joking in your area lol.
If aries/1st house placements are fast workers, taurus/2nd house placements are the opposite. They appreciate the details very much and they hate doing a job for the "half", they can be slow workers but their talent makes it worth it.
8th house pluto and/or mars can indicate you're pretty envied in your job space 🤫 be careful with gossips, lies and secrets...
Scorpio moons do not put their souls in their jobs, their jobs ARE their souls, they pour everything in their profession. They turn their traumas in art

BTS reaction | There is a bug in your bedroom
OT7 x male reader (can be read in gn i think)
synopsis: basically before you go to bed you two find a bug in your shared bedroom
warnings: like one swearword I think?
note: these are just short reactions, but since I really hate it when bugs are in my bedroom I decided to write this
The moment you two entered your bedroom to go to sleep you saw it... a bug... sitting in your shared bed
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵❘༻༺❘‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
Tumblr media
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵❘༻༺❘‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
Jin
The moment his eyes landed on it he let out an high-pitched squeak and jumped behind you. You couldn't take your eyes off of the bug, scared it might move. Jin peaked over your shoulder "Aren't you going to get rid of it?!" he questioned you. Your head shot towards him. "Absolutely not! I am not getting near that thing!"
You looked at each other sighing. Well, looks like you two will sleep on the couch today..
Suga
He knew you weren't really fond of bugs. At least not when they were inside your house. So he wasted no time to walk past your frozen body, grabbed a tissue and carefully stepped towards the bug. What he didn't expect was that the bug might have been able to fly. Before Suga could trap the bug in the tissue it abruptly flew into the air towards your boyfriend. "GEEZ-!" he jerked away in shock almost falling to the floor.
"AHHH!" you too let out a short scream out of shock and fear. You both couldn't see the bug anymore but you were SURE that it was still there.
You held your chest where your heart was supposed to be to empathize your shock. "Alright. That's it. I am moving out!" you spoke determined, walking toward the door.
Suga silently agreed and followed you.
You two had a sleepover at J-hope's house the next few days.
J-hope
J-hope was TERRIFIED of bugs. So as soon as he saw the small animal he basically jumped into your arms "Ahhh!! Babe please get rid of it!!" he almost screamed directly into your ear. You caught him so he wouldn't fall onto the floor and had to steady yourself for a second. You wanted to set him down so you could get rid of the insect but he wouldn't let go of you.
"W-Wait! What are you doing!? You can't leave me while this bug is still here!" his arms around your neck tighten and you looked at him dumbfounded. "And how do you expect me to get rid of it then?" you asked confused.
He stared at you, trying to think of something. "I don't know man! Just do something!" he whined while looking at you. You just sighed and decided to call Namjoon to get rid of it.
"You are lucky I love you, my hope."
Namjoon
He wasn't necessarily afraid of bugs. But he definitely didn't need them inside the house. So when he saw it he just opened the window inside of the room and gently put the small animal into his hand so he could put it outside again. You just looked at him in shock.
"How the f*ck can you just touch it like it is nothing!?" you asked him shocked and disgusted. Your body shaking for a second at the thought of touching a bug.
"Why not?" he closed the window after he freed the insect and walked towards you. But before he could touch you you took a step back. "I am sorry but PLEASE wash your hands before you touch me!" you spoke acting more disgusted than you actually were as your body shook another time.
"Alright baby, I will" he laughed before he left for the bathroom.
Jimin
He stopped in his tracks, turning on his heals while loudly speaking "DEFINITELY NOT!" and with that he stomped toward a cabinet in which you store bed sheets and stuff. He opened it, took everything he could fit in his small hands and walked down the stairs towards the living room. "BABE! GRAB AS MANY PILLOWS AS YOU CAN. I WILL NOT SLEEP IN THAT ROOM!" he yelled from downstairs.
You did as you were told and followed him, finding him building a cave out of blankets and pillows. "We need weapons! What if it attacks at night?!" you didn't know how he could stay so serious when he spoke these words. You laughed at him and just went along with it, searching for weapons.
After that he insisted on you two guarding alternately during the night.
V
He actually didn't have anything at all against bugs. So when you went to get rid of it he screamed "WAIT!" startled you froze before you reached the bug. You looked at him shocked and confused. "What!? What's wrong?". He looked you in your eyes with a serious expression. "Don't kill it! Please?"
You thought something happened when he screamed the moment before. But he was just being the animal-loving dork that he is. You let out a short, soft chuckle. Not believing to have found such a cute boyfriend with so much love inside him.
Since you could never say no to his puppy eyes you agreed and tried to get rid of it without hurting it at all. That wasn't easy but for your baby you didn't give up.
Jungkook
The moment he laid eyes on it he let out a short scream and threw his phone at it. "JUNGKOOK!? You can't throw your phone at a bug!!" you tried to speak but you were laughing your ass off. "YAH! DON'T LAUGH AT ME! IT WAS JUST A REFLEX, OK?" now you started to laugh even harder. "Your first reflex to seeing a BUG is to throw your PHONE at it?! HAHAHAH" you just couldn't stop laughing while he went to grab his phone from the bed. "Yeah I get it, now stop laughing"
After that you both went to bed.
In the middle of the night Jungkook woke up and sat up apruptly, waking you in the process. "The bug wasn't there when I picked up the phone. Do you think it is still in this room?" he asked almost sounding innocent.
"JUNGKOOK!.." you sat up as you screamed his name, scolding him for scaring you. Falling back to bed you thought to yourself
'Well, looks I won't sleep tonight..'
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵❘༻༺❘‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿
The poor bugs... :(
not proofread
Well this one is different from the other stuff I wrote so far!
Please let me know what you think!

I'm feeling so sad about Tae and Jungkook being separated in the military. I'm not necessarily sad about them being in different units, because their separation was likely inevitable for several reasons. It's just sad in general that they have to go through this separation. I can't stop thinking about how they've been by each other's side and a provided a huge source of comfort for the other for over a decade now. Literally since they were kids. I don't even mean this in a romantic way necessarily, but there's clearly so much love between them and there has been for a long time. To be distanced from that love is just so sad. The whole situation is genuinely sad. I can't imagine how isolated they'll feel once they enlist. They'll be able to see each other occasionally and text/call but still. I just can't help but think about how hard it'll be for them. And maybe this sounds dramatic but I can't help but worry for them lol. I guess I just wanted to commiserate a bit since I'm sure lots of people feel the same way. I just hope the world is kind to them while they're completing their service
Hi anon!
I have been feeling sad too. Ever since Tae did that live wanting to hear the song Jk sings him, it became so real. Like actually seeing him miss Jk like that 😢. This is gonna be tough on them, I agree. They’ve gone through many things, but separation in real life hasn’t been one of them.. at least not for longer amounts of time like they have to now. But, I also think they’ll get through it. Their love has endured many things already so it has proven to be strong. They will get to see each other on occasion, and many people do long distance relationships and succeed. They also have the future to look forward to and knowing exactly how long they have to go through this may help in making it a bit easier.
I see many people worried about whether they will do well in the army. I saw this tiktok a while ago, explaining why the person thought BTS members will fit right in the army and will probably do better than the average person. Members have gone through mental and physical challenges a lot already, they have gone without sleep, with seeing less of their loved ones, with having to train hard every day, with keeping to schedules, with pushing past their own boundaries. And while it’s a tough thing to take into consideration, and we don’t really want them to go through hardships.. again, it is true. Jk is able to master anything. Tae is fit, has great social skills, is smart, and will not let people walk over him. I think they will do fine.

How Jikook Found Me
Hi anyone who happens upon this!
Tumblr media
**I'm going to preface this with the information that I don't know how to link stuff, embed etc, so hopefully my attempts to do so will work!!**
I've been thinking of doing a "how I discovered jikook" post forever, because I love coming across other's similar stories, and was inspired this morning by @jiminieloved post below:
We discovered jikook at pretty much exactly the same time, if in slightly different ways.
I first joined instagram around October 2019, after only being on facebook prior to that (I had started a twitter account at some point, but had never used it), and somehow the algorithm decided I would be interested in Larry Stylinson. I don't know why. I knew who One Direction were, but didn't really listen to them. I didn't know what a "ship" was, except for "Bennifer" and "Brangelina", and that's not even really the same thing, is it? Anyhoo- it turned out I was a bit of a Larry. They were adorable and what I saw was compelling at the time.
Tumblr media
Then, of course, the algorithm started throwing in some other ships for my consideration, and along came the vmin ship videos.
Tumblr media
I had no idea who they were at first. I had heard of BTS, vaguely recalled seeing them on some entertainment news program once, but (much to my chagrin, as I could have been listening to them earlier), hadn't paid attention. I'm embarrassed and a little ashamed to say I just remember they all had different coloured hair, were so impossibly pretty, and thought they were likely just a fad.
Don't hate me!! I would fight to the death for all 7 of them now!!!
Tumblr media
But I digress! So, I thought vmin were so sweet. Nothing necessarily romantic there to my eyes, but I had an open mind about it, and I had never seen that kind of affection between males. I ate it up. I'm a 50 year old female (46 at the time), and from Canada, and this was so outside my personal experience. I adopted them into my heart. I watched everything I could find on instagram.
And then some stray jikook content started sliding in.
Tumblr media
And I got worried. What about my vmin babies? Was my mischievous little V ( I didn't know him as Tae Tae yet) going to get his heart hurt? Of course, I was seeing stuff that had already happened years before in most cases, but all very new and "real time" to my heart, that was slowly turning a vivid purple without my knowledge 💜. But what I was seeing in jikook was quickly becoming undeniable in my eyes.
And I was blown away. My heart remembered what it was like to believe the stories I read and watched in romantic books and movies when I was young. I had decided that was all just the stuff of fiction, and that maybe I was a fool to have believed in it. But no- these two young Korean men were putting Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth to shame! In real life!! I had to slide over to YouTube. I had to start searching stuff like "the way Jungkook looks at Jimin":
Tumblr media
And I was able to reconcile vmin and jikook for what I believe it is- no animosity, no competition (at least romantically) because it's two different kinds of love, both just as real. Not that I don't see moments in the content where I think our Tae Tae felt left out, but our babies (all seven of them) had all lived together and done everything together for so long, I think their relationships are not like anything most of us will ever experience or be able to fit into any tidy relationship categories. They are so much more than that.
Tumblr media
Somewhere in my searches I found this excellent 3-part commentary by @mimiandkookie4607 :
youtube
And this then this favourite by @themooniswaitingforus (who also makes some really beautiful song edits ,btw) :
youtube
Then I started wanting to watch original content, so I joined WeVerse and VLive. And then of course, as will happen, I fell in love with all 7 of our amazing, hard working, passionate, talented, brave, fun, impressive young men. I will love and support them until they are old men (or at least much older, as I won't be around as long as I fervently hope they will).
Tumblr media
There is more, of course. So much more, but I've run out of steam for today! I do want to say that I joined tumblr because of jikook, as well. I first discovered @dalloga through the Korean Perspective video (they haven't been active for a little bit, but it's worth it to go read their blog, for those who haven't), and then @stormblessed95, and went further down the proverbial rabbit hole from there.
Thank you for reading. Stay positive. Be kind. Seek out happy!

I am very new to the world of BL fandom but are cp fan reactions always this extreme if the actors move on in their career and work with other people or is this week just a bad week with the massive BBB posters at Bible's event and the truck protesting outside of GMMTV about the Ohmnanon "breaking up". I know that popular actors get paired up for multiple projects but I assume they must change up couples and act with others as pairs every once in a while or after a few years?
hey friend, I'm going to answer this in a way that is circuitous that I think will better address your question.
the first part is: have fandoms always been volatile to the extent a segment of fans will organize to engage their ability to bully / cause harm rather than engage positively?
yes and no, in the sense this is a relatively new phenomenon in the entirety of organized fannish history (which let's just give due credit to our foremothers of fannish history the star trek fandom and their zines.)
but it's not so new because this started around 15 years ago, when people in fandom realise they could also organize to to create very targeted harm
these are the primary examples coming to mind:
Girls Generation (snsd) black ocean
Super Junior's official fanclub members organizing to buy company stock to prevent an 18 year old boy from joining the group lineup
In both these instances, tens of thousands of fans (for fantastics here) organized specifically to harm a person or group of people. the intent objective was specifically to harm.
the bad learned lesson from both these incidents (2008) is that fans can bind together to throw a fit if they don't get their way.
the second is: is it common for fans / fandoms of actor pairs to act this way?
and the more complex answer to that is, fandom is not a single conscious entity, and categorically similar fandoms often do not have a high overlap of active fans, usually at most 1-2 fandoms at a time. don't get me wrong, you'll see a lot of mileapo fans who are also bts fans, and I would bet you'll see a much smaller count of bts fans and exo fans overlap than you would see of bts fans and mileapo fans. any similarities you find in how fans between the first two groups act like one another is more the result of the categorical meta fan culture (here: kpop) rather than because the same people are perpetuating these behaviors while acting as fans of both these groups
for this reason I hesitate to call fandoms drama-mongering because these behaviors are perpetuated by individuals, or by a group of individuals, and not even necessarily by a group that represents the majority belief of the fandom. the fact of the matter is, people will participate in fandom regardless of if you like them or not, and some of there people are bullies or stalkers or overall terrible human beings. you can't make them stop engaging with your favorite actor or musician or couple because you can't control anyone but yourself. the only thing you can do is take the wind out of their sails by not engaging.
if you're wise to Ye Olde Harry Potter fandom lore, you'll know there was a specific segment. of fandom which known as highly dramatic but it wasn't because they liked a certain character or couple - it was because these individuals were drama mongering bullies to begin with, who continued that behavior in other fandoms. One of these infamous people bullied two different friends of mine in two different fandoms 6 years apart, and continues to instigate negativity in the fandoms they choose to engage in. you can't stop this person from joining a fandom... you can only limit their power by not engaging.
so the the answer to your specific question are all fandoms this dramatic? no, or they don't act in that way at least. MewGulf (TharnType) fans continued to invest in delusions by "I've connected the dots.jpeg" normal posts by both parties despite Mew's explicit rejection of their fantasies and his refusal to engage. However, they didn't have a problem with MG moving onto other acting projects without the other. Mew even worked with Tul of MaxTul/Manner of Death on a project but it wasn't BL. however, Max will be involved in the new mafia Thai BL releasing next year that's already been cast and as far as I can see, Tul isn't involved. I haven't heard of any grievances thus far from their fans but that doesn't mean there aren't any, and even if there are, I doubt the reaction would be organize to specifically harm Max's career / limit his opportunities.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have what Apolaris did in August, which was purposefully sabotaging Man Suang promo and embarrassing Apo in front of business partners and sponsors because they want the opposite: for Apo to stop working with Mile.
to circle back to the beginning: 1) it has nothing to do with the specific fandom topic, people can feel a sense of entitlement and desire to control regardless of who it is what behavior they want to happen and 2) a small group of people can disproportionately cause harm if they are organized enough and vindictive enough. that doesn't necessarily represent the majority fan view, but it can over time if their bullying behavior towards other fans drive the more reasonable people out of fandom , leaving only those who agree with theie toxic mindset.
do fandoms always have these people? in this day and age, almost inevitably, yes. and they are unfortunately also resilient to being bullied out of fandom themselves but plenty good at playing the victim. the best thing one can do is ignore their entitled, obnoxious behavior (private shit talking totally allowed)
*please in advance forgive my typos. the keyboard is generating weirder autocorrects of correct words every day. Please pretend to not see it

In the spirit of keeping you entertained, Darling, during your travels... what is the weirdest headcannon you have for each member of BTS? Let's hear the strange headcannons!
I don't really have weird headcannons for all the members, at least not ones that spring immediately to mind. Here are the ones I do have
Seokjin – I think he likes to laugh during sex. Like full on belly laugh, wind shield wipers going… I have no idea where this fits in with his sex life, but if things get to serious he will just start doing ridiculous things like dancing or blowing raspberries on his partners stomach to bring the mood back up. I think he can have serious sex, sometimes, just not often. Jimin – I think Jimin collects something really random, like pretty buttons, or badges with misprints on them. Something kinda quirky that you wouldn’t necessarily associate with him.
Taehyung – I don’t think I could come with any head canon for Tae that would be weirder than the man himself
Jungkook – The problem with Jungkook is he is waaaayyyyy to open…. Or is he…. Hear me out on my conspiracy theory. He tells us a load of absolute bull that he has careful curated to keep his BTS persona completely separate. Man’s got a wife and 6 kids wanting us to think he is in his hoe era

DISTRACTION TIME! Been thinking a lot about Rhaenys’ hair recently (as one does), and would love any of your thoughts/feelings on the subject. Also, just how similar do you think it will be kept next season?
I think her hair is incredibly important to her character. Not just the style and shape of it, but the colour, the length, the aesthetic of it all and how it is used in a scene and what messages it sends us. And I really like the messaging, even if there are obviously some hairstyles I like more than others.
I think Rhaenys, as a character, and this is perhaps something that I get from Eve's talking about it, is that she's a woman of two worlds. She's incredibly feminine and delights in being feminine but she is also very strong, formidable and a dragon.
That's not to say that these two aspects are necessarily in conflict and don't complement one another or that by being strong she is somehow masculine, but more that it's two aspects that are predominant in her personality that are shown simultaneously through her clothing and her hair.
And also she uses it. This is a woman who cares about her appearance. And that extends as much to clothes and hair as it does to poise and facial expressions and mannerisms. Rhaenys barely wears the same hairstyle twice. She wears variations of the same style, but it changes from episode to episode, scene to scene. She's in four scenes of Episode 01. Guess how many hairstyles she has? Four. But there are things that are kept as a rule, bar a few exceptions, and those exceptions are either practical or to specifically tell us, the audience, that she is feeling out of sorts.
So there are "dragon wings", as I term them. These are the two pieces on either side of her head that are pinned up to the side and help create a silhouette. It's a lot harsher than the BTS hairstyle we have that we never see in an episode. I love it. I think it's a really clever and strong and memorable part of her hair. I think you're going to feel formal and poised and literally restrained with that happening in your hair, which makes sense. But as I say, they also remind me of wings so we're keeping the Targ' of it all.
Then we've got braids. These usually come with little accessories. The braids are symbolic of both her houses. Targaryens wear braids in their hair, but Velaryons also have locs. Some of her braids look Targ, and some look like she's specifically mimicking a Velaryon aesthetic and style.
And then just the whole idea that her hair is usually half up and half down. Other than when it's fully up (at the wake) or in a ponytail (Episode 10). It's both very girly and very strong. It's GREAT for dragon-riding because it is kept out of the face but free to the wind. So it fits in with her personality and preferences.
Then there's the whole trajectory and meaning behind when she has it the highest of the high for court events, against having it flat and undone, when she's off-guard or softer aka without her normal defences.
Hair is very important. Plus, they called her wig "Xena, Warrior Princess". Which makes me laugh.

Hello! So I'm a little nervous about sending this in because I don't generally like using the anon option as I stand behind my opinions, but I also recongize that means I'm opening this up to all your followers, as a jikooker who runs a jikook focused blog myself. So I'm sending this in with respect and just as a "opinions from the other side" type of deal. And I hope that even though everyone who follows you won't agree with me, the respect and courtesy will be returned. Kindness costs nothing!
A few days ago you posted this ask and reposnse about GCF in Toyko. Both the anon sender and yourself mentioned not seeing GCFT as romantic or non plantonic or understanding necessarily why jikookers say what they say about it. You both did so fairly respectfully, which I fully appreciate. I'm not trying to change minds at all. I'm all good on disagreeing about viewpoints here. None of us know anything for sure and everyone bases their own opinions off their own life experiences and biases. We are all only guessing here. Lol just figured I'd try to answer the question over what "we" see in it. So apologies for all the explanations over why I am here, and for the essay in your ask box. I write long ass posts all the time on my own blog and it's just how I work now 😂 You don't have to feel obligated to post or respond to this either if you don't want to.
Tumblr media
GCF in Toyko is not the make it or break it "piece of evidence" for jikookers in thinking that Jimin and Jungkook could be in a romantic relationship. It's just one in the many things that build on top of each other that is their bond that jkkrs see as likely being romantic in nature. Its one of the things that had many jkkrs, including myself, looking back on previous interactions and on future ones with perhaps a more questioning eye. It's also something that I've seen non armys and non jkkrs raise eyebrows over. I introduced my friend to BTS before and they watched Jungkook's GCFs with me (in order, all of them) before she even knew all their names (we were introducing her to the members one by one and JK caught her eye first so we watched his videos and music before the others) and she asked while watching "is the blonde in the video his boyfriend?" And I explained that it was actually Jimin, who was in the same band and as far as the fandom and we all know, no they are just best friends. And she said "well that's some friend then!" And we moved on to the next GCF in Osaka. Or how often i see clips of Jimin from GCFT in armys "pov: you are on a date with jimin" tweets. Lol But it does show that's its not always just the jkkr bias that makes us think the video has some romantic inclinations.
I have... a lot of posts on my own blog that talk about their Toyko Trip and GCFT as well too, but I'm not going to link them or anything because they are definitely written with the assumption that my views and guesses over their relationship is correct and they are boyfriends, which is not what I'm wanting to do here necessarily. But for a lot of jkkrs, the importance placed on the trip comes from the importance placed on it by Jimin and JK themselves. They talked about that trip constantly since it happened, even in interviews in 2020, as well as expressed interest in doing it again. It was how they went through that trip wearing matching fits on their personal time, went sightseeing and went to Disney and had a good time. How JK filmed a video about Toyko, but Jimin ended up being basically the only focus. The intentional choice of the song because he had to pay copyrights for it and the way he matched movements of the video to lyrics on the song, including during the lyrics "love is a road that goes both ways" with a cut scene of them driving down the road and you get flashes of both a rainbow lights ferris wheel and a regular one. Which felt fairly intentionally queer coded, in a video that starred Jimin that Jungkook made.
Tumblr media
Jimin also had no idea that the video would even be made at all. So it gave the idea that the Jimin we were seeing, was the Jimin that Jungkook sees all the time. Goofy, happy, having fun, treated well, etc. All that, paired with the music, paired with how they talk about it, paired with how it was edited, paired with the trip itself, paired with JK surprising Jimin over it all, paired with JK telling us he used inspiration videos from a video editor YouTuber called "making a video for your boyfriend or girlfriend," gives off romance vibes (to me).
Your post also mentioned JK being camera shy during the trip, but I disagree. Being camera shy and preferring to be behind the camera don't have to be one in the same. JK made it into a few shots of the whole video, included starting it off with a shot of his feet on the airplane too. I think it just shows that for Jungkook, the point of the trip and the point of the video wasn't about him, or even about them, but about Jimin. Which also feels romantic to me.
Tumblr media
You guys (you and anon) also mentioned how you can see two friends making the exact same type of video about a trip they took and were excited about. I disagree, but this could just be life experiences bias coming into play for all 3 of us. I think a good example that could show the difference in what I think would be a normal vlog video between a friend trip and a "could be something more" trip would be Jimin's toyko vlog that he shared. I did a post about the differences there too on my blog, but rather than get into ALL of that. I'll just highlight my points about how JMs video showed JK ALOT, so he wasn't camera shy, he just wasn't in his own video. Jimins video highlighted more of their activies done, them being goofy together, paired with fun music and cute transition slides. For me, this doesnt disprove a possible romantic relationship between them either, it just is what you would expect from a video about two best friends who went on a vacation together. JKs video was a totally different vibe all together. In my opinion. So the completely different vibe as well as everything else about the trip all put together made the video seem more than just plantonic.
https://youtu.be/5TbIyRhvIBQ
^ Jimins Toyko Vlog, with English Subtitles included for anyone who wants to see it if they perhaps haven't. And if you weren't in the fandom long, or aren't a Jimin bias, it doesn't get mentioned a lot. Lol plently of jkkrs also don't even know about it for a while! He posted it originally to Twitter in 2 parts, this army just combined them for us for convenience 💜
https://youtu.be/XrTNLkqGrlc
^ GCFT if I'm here linking things, JK always deserves more streams.
Lastly, his following GCFs were mentioned in your post as well and while all the members do feature in them, Jimin always appears to be highlighted in them. In Osaka, JK cuts the song out completely to highlight Jimins laughter 3 times. In Saipan, Jimin has not only the most screen time, but he also he paired Jimin with the same specific lyrics time and time again which were the more romantically inclined lines. In Helsinki, the colors changed from black to white when Jimin came on screen. Jimin is also the only member to appear in every single GCF video from his first to the last one we have so far. Jimin joking about being the model doesn't just come from no where. Lol but no jkkrs should be claiming (at least I'm not) that app GCFs are indicative of a romantic relationship between jikook or JK and any member. And one or more can be considered romantic while others aren't, or however anyone sees them. Not all GCFs are trying to give the exact same message. At least I personally didn't see them that way.
Tumblr media
But again, I'm not here to try and argue really. Or change anyone's mind. I fully recongize how my biases can be influencing my opinions and vice versa for yall and every "shipper" as well. I dont mind if people disagree. I just saw the post and saw the confusion over how/why jkkrs see GCFT specifically in the way that they (we) do and figured I'd offer my perspective as a jkkr who is active in a blogger space. And I think I said all (probably more) that I can say over this topic in one ask. Lol so if you read all of this, thanks for taking the time to read an opinion that differs. Hope you all have a good week!
~ Storm
Hey Storm!
This is really interesting! I'm going to present it mostly without comment and treat it as basically a guest post from a differing perspective.
One thing I just want to clarify about my own feelings on GCFT specifically is that even though I don't really get romantic vibes from it myself, I do get why people see it that way. I get why it might be a big "maybe" moment for Jikookers, and I know that it has definitely piqued the curiosity of non-shippers too, and I understand why. I just don't see it as inherently romantic, or like something that can only be interpreted in a romantic way, and that's why there are plenty of people who come away from it without getting that impression too.  That being said though, I definitely see the argument.
I re-watched all of the GCFs after reading this and I definitely noticed some new-to-me things. It's so fascinating how we can watch the same material and take different interpretations and details away from it. If anyone hasn't watched the GCFs, or hasn't seen them recently but read through this whole post, I'd definitely recommend revisiting them.
Also, I'm sure it goes without saying, but please everyone be respectful. I'm glad that we can talk about differing opinions in this space, that's something that's valuable to me.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective, Storm! You put a lot of work into this, and I really appreciate the clarity and attention to detail.  I hope you're doing well!

Hey Peach! So, I've always had this idea that during interviews or when they're answering fan questions, BTS can actually see each other on screen. Especially T and JK, they seem to glance at each other now and then, like during that New Year's Eve livestream in 2019-20 when they were exchanging signs. But then, I got into this debate on another platform where people were adamant it's not possible. They're saying there are staff members, cameramen, all sorts of stuff in front of them, not a screen. Sometimes they have a laptop in front of them but they are not able to see themselves or each other because the screen is too small. What do you think about that?
Ok. I have a tiny bit of livestream/filming experience.
If it is a pre-record interview, I'm thinking there's no essential need. But think about this... say you've set up an interview and you're halfway through and someone jumps out of their seat and does a little dancey dance, I'm looking at you Hobi, he's not necessarily going to stay in frame if he doesn't know where his framing is. The cameraman can't zoom out, it screws the shot, shows the boom overhead, etc. The director can't shout "Get back in frame!" mid interview. And time is money. You want to limit how much you stop and start the interview.
A little monitor showing the camera view would make sense.
If it's a live stream, it's very bad practice to NOT monitor the external output. So not just viewing it through the cameras you are using but actually watching the live as it appears on weverse or whatever. For example, what if the live cuts out? What if the audio goes wonky between the studio input and the livestream output? What if someone hacks in? (I mean it's unlikely but it has happened 😂)
My brother does live streams for a living and he definitely monitors himself even though he's not in charge of directing the streams himself.
In Weverse lives, I'm 99% sure they are watching themselves. A really good example is where Hobi is sat close to the camera in that live where Tae has the blue Hawaiian shirt on. A few times he looks at them in the camera instead of turning to them.
And they have to read the comments, right? I don't know if it's even possible for them to receive the comments without seeing themselves. So I'm thinking any time they have a little pad in front of them or a laptop, they can see themselves. It will be small but not so small that they couldn't see broadly what was going on.
I don't really understand the logic that there can't be a screen because there are staff? I mean yes, there are cameras and staff but you could fit a screen in there easily. Little reference monitors can be like shoebox sized so really not a big space needed.
The better argument would be is there a need for them to see themselves? Well I think maybe yes. If there's 7 of them, and they all need to be in frame, a monitor would make sense.
I don't know for sure, I should say. I have no insider knowledge. But if I was prepping a studio, I'd be providing monitoring for the talent especially if there were multiple wiggly people.

Rock a bye baby (where am i?)
I was re-watching the trailer again after getting pretty far into a new playthrough of DS1 when something clicked. we've heard the lullaby at the very end of the trailer before, in DS1:
(starts at 9:25 in the trailer, and a couple seconds in in the second video)
youtube
when we meet Mama and her BT baby the exact same section of the exact same song is playing as the trailer, but a little extended and with more melodies going. and the song is pretty significant even in DS1 without connecting it to DS2: this is the only other lullaby we hear in the game that isn't BB's theme. and it plays directly before we meet the third most important child character in the game, after Lou and Sam. and the order we hear BBs theme and rock a bye is even the same! the first trailer, Higgs sings a warped version of BB's theme, which we hear in DS1 near the very beginning after hooking up to Lou for the first time and seeing Cliff sing a section. the second trailer, a warped version of rock a bye, heard for the first time about a third of the way through the game when first meeting Mama.
the song is slower and simpler in the trailer compared to in DS1, with a very old almost broken down sound. the octopuses on the mobile seem really relevant considering just how many references to tentacles we've seen in the trailers so far: Elle Fanning's sucker arm, the tar-cat's tongue, the DHV Magellan's logo. and we know some time has passed since the end of the first game. could the song be coming from the same mobile?
thematically, it would be a fitting gift, if it was given as a gift to Sam - if the theories are right and Lou is haunting the BB pod then it'll be an object shared between two impossible BT babies. LockneMama would be the literal best person for Sam to get in contact with again, being the only person (people?) to actually have gone through something similar with a dead not dead daughter. (and it's a completely impractical gift for a living baby with squishy skin, being metal and likely to cut or injure a grabby infant.)
I don't know. i think it would be a really neat narrative parallel if Mama played a role in DS2, but since Margaret Qualley has not been mentioned in any promotional material I doubt she'll be in the game in any major way. that doesn't necessarily mean the theory is wrong; the character could still interact with Sam through emails but the reduced presence doesn't seem
ok wait had a brain wave does Shioli connect to this somehow? complete hunch based on nothing but the first song was obviously the song that connected Lou and Sam, as they're both BBs and the theme is used for both of them. we've seen absolutely nothing of who Shioli is despite knowing she must be a major character based on her poster and her name on the credit list. is rock a bye the song that connects Lou and Shioli's character?
her character poster:
Tumblr media
rock a bye baby is about a baby being 'lost' - "when the bough breaks the cradle will fall/ down will come baby, cradle and all."
euphemistically, it can be about child death due to negligence or instability, but going 'down' in the case of death stranding also immediately brings to mind tar, the sinking and the rising. is she 'down' at the beach?
'cradle and all' seems to me to imply there's other things related to cradles that are all going down with the baby, blankets, toys, etc. lots of mobiles attach to cradles.
maybe i'm grasping at straws with the Shioli connection, but the lullaby is the only part of the trailer that doesn't seem to obviously link back to or directly relate to the known characters. and since Mama isn't going to be a major player, maybe Shioli will fill the same thematic presence in this game as Mama did in the last - Mama, too, was lost in a sense, her Ha and Ka split when her baby died and untethered when her psychic link to Lockne broke. Mama was an inversion of the stillmother - maybe Shioli is an inversion of Lou?

Can you do bad sides/questionnable reading for enhypen as well ? (Like you did for BTS) Thank youuu :)
again... before you read: make sure that you take everything with a grain of salt and put your common sense to good use! no human being is 100% angel; no one is perfect + some of these things we, ourselves, do or think of doing from time to time. still, if anyone is expecting idols to be some sort of perfect demi-gods, the internet might not be for you 💘 also, of course, i’m not claiming anything as facts. feel free to dismiss my interpretations, if you wish.
Heeseung || the devil, page of wands: Uhh… a little manipulative? He knows what to say to push people's buttons. Plus, might take his jokes a little too far sometimes, too. While said joke might be making someone uncomfortable, if he's not yet satisfied with it, he's not gonna stop. What's funny for him often isn't funny for others, and he might fail to notice that. It could also happen that others feels pressured to laugh at those jokes or go along with his antics just so they aren't the next victim. (mind you, I don't think he's malicious with it, necessarily… he may just lack the maturity or self-awareness to recognize what's reaaally happening)
Jay || the temperance, ace of pentacles: Jay might have a hard time stepping out of his comfort zone, and so he tries to mold people into what better fits said comfort zone. If he thinks something is the best of its kind (i.e.: a restaurant or a style of jeans), he will want everybody to have the same opinion or follow his own. Passive-aggressiveness might also be an issue here.
Jake || three of swords, ace of swords: Knows how to hit a raw nerve, and might do it more often than he should. He's the type to remember things/secrets a person has told him and use that against them later on, specially when they have hurt his feelings. Will bring up people's past mistakes, too, for sure… Plus, once you hurt him, he'll make sure you know it and acknowledge it!
Sunghoon || four of wands, eight of cups: Escapism; faking it. Fakes his personality and/or tastes and preferences in order to fit in. Would rather run than confront others over things that have upset him. Might also be the type to say one thing in front of the larger group of people, and then go and say another in private to someone he trusts.
Sunoo || wheel of fortune, ace of wands: Unpredictable. Always looking for the next big thing. He just isn't very commited to stuff, specially if something else more interesting or promising comes up. It may be hard to get him to follow through with an idea or plan - it's a "do it now or you may never actually do it" type of thing. He just loses interest very easily, it seems.
Jungwon || ace of pentacles, eight of swords: I wouldn't necessarily say close minded, but more like… short-sighted? He rejects things/ideas/people too fast upon a first impression, and doesn't give them the opportunity to unravel into something that, perhaps, he'd find really quite interesting. For example, if 7 years ago he found a 12-in-1 shampoo that worked for his needs, in those 7 years he has never accepted any other shampoo suggestion and will shit-talk all other options… you won't get him to change his mind bc, honestly, he doesn't care. It might be better for him and give him better results but, instead of considering that, he's thinking about NOT getting what this 12-in-1 provides for him right now. Besides that, he may also be a little material focused and reject some opportunities in order to focus on work, to save money, or simply because he thinks it's below himself.
Ni-ki || three of swords, king of wands: Lol… he plays the victim very well! Ni-ki knows how to use his acting skills to get what he wants, for sure… Dramatic. Pushy. Hates it when people don't pay attention to him - OR when they don't give him the amount of attention he thinks he deserves. "My way or the highway… unless you wanna hear me whine about it for a month, of course".

Does it make me a solo if I don't put all of their solo songs into my playlist? I see all over twitter that I'm not a true fan if I don't stream but for example with hobis album I listened to it and watched lolla but didn't add the songs to my playlist because it's just not something I really like listening to. I also didn't finish all 7 members vlogs because I found it hard to focus I guess? I like all member but I definitely like some less and sometimes they might say or do something that would push my buttons but then I kind of feel bad because people say you can't be a true fan if you think anything negative about any of them but then I see tweets with thousands of likes shading jimin or jungkook and I just don't get it. To clarify I don't go spewing hate or anything just when something annoys me I might ask myself "why did they do/say x?" but it doesn't make me dislike them.
Having a bias doesn't make you a solo and preferring your biases content/music doesn't make you a solo. Finding the other members annoying/thinking negatively of them verges on that solo behavior though. But that's the only part of your message that raised my eyebrows.
Tumblr media
As for the solo songs into Playlists, no. That doesn't make you a solo for not adding them. You already said you supported the songs as they came out. If you added every single BTS song to your Playlist, the Playlist would be over 20 hours long. And that's not even an exaggeration. They legitimately have over 300 songs in their discography, including solos. That's ALOT. And Playlists are there to narrow down music to certain moods/themes or for whatever you feel like listening to. Not necessarily for entire discographys.
Tumblr media
For me, I make streaming Playlists whenever something new drops. Either a single, or a new album, such as Jack in The Box. I create a streaming Playlist of songs I feel like fit the mood of that song as well as mostly just other BTS songs I love. I also usually then tend to add the other most recent releases from the other members/the group to that Playlist as well to give them more streams. Such as my JITB streaming Playlist included Left and Right and With You as Jikooks most recent releases, as well as Yours by Jin.... etc etc. Ill also then usually look up which songs of BTS are close to streaming goals and add those as well. And then after a week or so, the streaming Playlist gets retired and the songs get added to my general BTS Playlist, which contains my favorite BTS songs and I keep updated with the newest releases from them to continue to give them my streams, but if the song isn't a favorite, it will be rotated out of the Playlist eventually. And if nee goals come out for certain solo songs like for their bdays and stuff, those songs get added back into my streaming Playlist rotations. Otherwise I then generally add the songs I like/love to playlists that the songs fit into once the "streaming period" is over. Such as my cleaning Playlist, my workout Playlist, my goes for a long drive Playlist, my needs a cry Playlist, my Queer vibes Playlist, my falls asleep to playlist, reminds me of books Playlist etc etc etc.... but not every solo song will be one of the songs I love and will make it to a Playlist. Not every single bts song will either. There isn't a BTS song out there that I don't really like honestly, but I have my songs I like more than others and that get more streams on my playlists. As long as you are supporting them as artists and you are giving them the initial stream and support, it's not solo behavior to not fall in love with every single song.
Tumblr media
Hope that makes sense. A solo is basically someone who only supports one member above any and all others. So if you were only going to support Jungkooks music and collabs and content etc and not ever listen to or watch or engage with or help stream or anything the music/content for the other members. Or would even put down and shade the other members to promote your bias since you think he is the best and therefore better than everyone else. That would be a solo stan and not okay.

this might be an unpopular opinion but i needed to say it, especially after today's ot7 festa video.
i don't think bighit is necessarily separating jikook, i think they're just more focused on other duos that the fans seem to love internationally (jihope, yoonmin, taekook, namjin) and/or the fans demand content of.
i think the reason for the lack of jikook interactions, in official content or otherwise, is a conscious decision they both take or at least jimin did. my own personal theory is that he knows what kind of hate gets thrown at him for mentioning or interacting with jungkook, and although this won't make him stop interacting with jungkook completely, he's started to do it way less.
i believe that they know why the company is pushing certain duos for the fans, and jimin being the people pleaser he is and an obedient team member, he won't push back and ruin the company's plans. so he just took a step back, for the greater good.
whenever i see jikookers blaming the company for the lack of jikook moments i just cringe because it's like bordering on taekookers mentality and i don't like that.
jikook are fine, and if they aren't interacting much in official content—that, as i said, is currently focused on other duos—and even keeping their real life interactions to themselves, it's because they decided to. simple as that.
Honestly? I roll my eyes at people who believe BTS are still being puppeteered by their company. These men are not kids anymore: this perceived unfairness of member separation/fan service manipulation reeks of having read too much fan fiction. Enough.
If anyone has to believe in such things to justify something that doesn’t fit an existing narrative, your ship had no weight to begin with. People need to chew on that a little bit.

hey I had a slightly similar experience where I had a friend who when we were together for 4 years of college, she never got into bts and she used to say all this bs about how they look like girls and I always brushed it off as ignorance or whatever (maybe to preserve the friendship and also because in my country, this is quite common 😞, If I started cutting people off over something like this It'd be really hard to make friends ) and now after college ended she moved to a different place and somehow her new friends were able to make her fall in love with bts and now she sends me reels about "oh look at how cute tae tae is" and similar stuff which doesnt feel right to me.
what bugs me is that not that shes now a fan despite talking shit about them before but how she didn't think they were worth investing time in when I introduced them to her but somehow it's a different case with her newer better friends.
and to top it off she's planning a trip with them to Seoul now which just adds to my annoyance (maybe I'm just jealous that they get to go and I am not able to find a similar opportunity)
....
I apologize, but I fuckin' hate when people say that shit "they look like girls" they don't, but even if they did, so what? Are you saying you don't like women? Are you saying there's something wrong with men displaying femininity? Are you saying you don't like androgyny? Are you saying people can't express themselves however they want? Huh? HUH? (ft j-hope)
To people who think like that
Fuck off.
Not saying you have to cut these people off and, like you said, some things aren't worth fighting, but this reasoning is so illogical and has nothing to do with their quality of music. I get it if you don't like their music or the commercialism behind them (which is a result of their company, mostly). Judging BTS's worth simply buy their looks... then turning around and liking them now? Why? to fit in with these new friends? Maybe they did grow up a bit and realize they were being extremely superficial. Maybe they had that deep inner talk with themselves. Sometimes people do become better but don't necessarily let others know or are even too ashamed to admit they were wrong.
Maybe it wasn't the right time for her to discover BTS. It is a little different now, too, since they are established idols. A more relaxed atmosphere now that they're established / have roots and able to express themselves more individualistically in solo projects. A little more "behind the curtain" rather than "dressed up".
Maybe she wasn't mature enough to be able to appreciate them.
*cough*
Anyway.
I see your view. Still, don't let it get to you too much. People can be like that. Just because they live like that doesn't mean you have to, right? She may being going to Seoul with these friends, but that doesn't mean you can't or won't go eventually when you get the chance. Opportunities do require a little luck but mostly they require planning and work towards them.
And a teensy bit of insanity.
Heh.
You'll get your time. The best is yet to come, eh? And who knows, some cool tourism packages may pop up within the next couple years. I somehow think Korea will try to incentivize tourists to visit more and more, so I would keep a lookout. We might see a BTS-themed tourist tour (with exclusive PCs, what, HYBE clearly wants money, maybe they should hire me LMAO)

What are your hozier hot takes? 👀
I think a lot of Hozier's music sounds the same!!! Now, yes there are songs that definitely are different, but essentially I find that I can kinda dance the same rhythm/beat to 95% of his music and it would fit all of the songs, if that makes sense? I'm not necessarily saying this is a bad thing, he has a very specific sound that he does VERY well, I just don't think he strays from it very much!
I find that particular with Unreal Unearth. While it's a VERY GOOD ALBUM, I find it very long (and my irl friend who's a music fanatic agreed with me). With it being so long, I find a good portion of the album has blended together for me - hard to pinpoint what songs were what because they sounded very similar (this could also just be that I've only listened through the full album once, and very recently. This can change!)
My favourite song from the album is Anything But, and I think a part of it is because the song is so different in how it sounds from the others!
BTS is so very different that it would be unfair to compare the two, but BTS' discography is so vast, every era sounds different. Butterfly to IDOL to Yet To Come are all completely different sounds and I can immediately pinpoint what I'm listening to based off a mere second from the instrumentals or vocals. Now, Taylor Swift may be a better example (since she's one artist, as opposed to seven) it's essentially the same thing! From Debut to Midnights, she has dozens of songs that offer different experiences, all with different production that suit the song. But with Hozier, it sounds like a song from Unreal Unearth would fit just as well on his EP, if that makes sense?

I can't believe people don't understand this, but the problem isn't u writing jungkook with different pronouns or whtever, it's JK doing a gender fluid ad and suddenly everyone's debating his pronouns and gender identity. You're essentially pushing gender roles by saying that his pronouns might be they/them or smth different, just bcs feminine themes were included his modelling. Like do yall not understand how crazy that is? That suddenly his pronouns/gender is changed/debatable bcs he decided to wear a crop top and long hair??? Yall are doing nothing but pushing gender roles and it's speaking patriarchy. Why is that everytime, an east Asian man is both feminine and masculine, people suddenly start calling him gay or trans? Begging yall to stop fetishizing korean men, it's not cute.
This is directed at everyone.
as i’ve said, me writing jungkook as gender fluid and changing his pronouns is not me projecting onto real life jungkook. they’re 2 different entities
sure, fictional jungkook was inspired by the androgynous nature of recent photos. but that isn’t me transferring that ideology onto real life jungkook and how he wants to present himself, be it growing his hair out and wearing a crop top, i know what’s fictional and i know my boundaries as a fan
i totally agree with you though!! and as i said earlier, i don’t completely agree with what is said within communities like twitter. calling him a butch lesbian or over feminising him to point it overrides the reason behind the photo shoot to begin with.
again as i said before, im not coming on here saying that jungkook’s pronouns are they/them simply from a few photos or that his gender is miraculously different or that he isn’t jungkook at surface level as he has been since i’ve been an army
again, i agree with you. asian fetishisation is still such a huge problem, especially when we add femininity into the mix, pretty sure jimin’s been a victim of it for years as he figured out his own comfortability within his masculinity while accepting the more feminine traits he presents. just as bts wearing skirts isn’t a point to fetishise, or them being gay (if they are), or anything that doesn’t fit within a heteronormative definition
the human brain is simultaneously extremely complex but kinda simple. especially within our society and how we view people based off physical appearance. when we see someone who presents as femme, we’re all likely to have a schema that put that person within the stereotypical gender roles based on appearance even though we’re aware that it’s all stereotypes and not necessarily true, and therefore assume the gender roles that are surrounded with being femme. just like there are certain expectations being masculine. just like how it’s the assumption that more femme presenting asian men are all gay or trans, because of the stereotype and narrative that’s been weaved into society even though it’s not always true, and a lot of the time false. it’s all to do with people and how we group them within our brains, even as we programme ourselves to know that stereotypes aren’t always true
i think it stands for all asian people, not just korean men. asian women even which is a whole other topic we can talk about.
baseline is, don’t fetishise a culture or race, it’s gross and weird and not right and i’d imagine quite uncomfortable for those who are in the firing line of fetishisation
disclaimer again, fictional jungkook that i’ve written is not in any way how i view jungkook in the real world nor is it a way for me to push an agenda onto him or anyone else in bts. i’m aware of how he presents himself in real life, and one photo shoot isn’t gonna give me cavewomen brain where i can’t function and just spew a bunch of nonsense all of a sudden because a man decided to delve into a more femme concept
thank you for bringing this topic to light as well, i think it’s another one that’s important to talk about!!
