I have 9-1-1 on in the background while I’m doing other things, so I’m not really paying attention. I heard a familiar voice so I had to pay attention to see what’s going on. Mark Pellegrino is in this episode. He’s playing a bad guy-but not Lucifer (so I guess he’s not completely evil).

idk if this is a hot take, but i think defend in place is one of the best, most exhilarating, most quintessential eps of 911, and it doesn’t get nearly enough praise because people still hate 5a for some reason. it’s got ACTION, it’s got ROMANCE, it’s got JOY, it’s got HEARTBREAK, it’s got A BIGASS FIRE. literally everything we love about this show wrapped in a 42 minute package that SLAPS

Maddie didn’t kill Doug in the woods when he attacked her, instead he was arrested and sent to prison for life. The same prison the 118 are called into to deal with the riot fires in s05e06 Brawl in Cell Block 9-1-1.

Buck doesn’t get a good look at the second escapee in the ambulance until it’s far too late.
