Honestly what could also be interesting in the Sky Adopts Branch AU, would be Sky’s & Peppy’s relationship. Since in the shows it’s implied they’re good friends, but with Branch’s adoption it could potentially strain that relationship. With peppy warning Sky about the difficulties of raising a kid, especially “one that’s like Branch.” Considering how similar Sky and Branch actually act, Sky isn’t a fan of that comment.

Plus also an adorable thought is Branch eventually showing Sky his concept of Cupcakes & Caverns. As a way to try to bond with him. Sky is proud, but his monotone voice makes it hard to show it lol.

I think it would be strained! I could see Sky going up to Peppy and giving some variation of "This sad, previously-unemployed child has told me that you asked everyone in the village already to raise him. These claims are as unfounded as they are laughable. You, laugh for me... See?"

Peppy says that he didn't ask Sky because of how heavy into his work he is, and children need a lot of focus, not to mention I personally think Sky never had an interest in having a kid, so Peppy wouldn't have thought to ask him.

"Excuse noted. Follow up response: I see now that children are the future, and an excellent source of a focus group. Not to mention, I've convinced this one to wear a tie. Look at him, he's like a much less glamorous and unpolished version of myself."

Sky would LOVE Cupcakes & Caverns! Sky's monotone voice doesn't express well but Branch would know by then that if Sky puts something out for production it's because he believes in it fully.

Despite refusing to wear the bracelets, the Borrowers are very happy to participate in Hug Time. It's one of the things they all missed when living in Bergen Town. Caretakers routinely get dog piled by their broods

They really like games like hide and seek and capture the flag. They claim it's for training. Everyone else is just glad that they're having fun.

Smidge gets adopted by the defenders

Poppy makes a whole scrapbook of the best and worst gifts to give a borrower. This scrapbook is affectionately refered to as "The Sacred Texts"

They don't like big loud parties despite this they still stand guard against any predators attracted by the noise.

Many broods have a big fear of critters so Milton moss lets the defenders bring them to come see his critter care center to get use to them and even let them hold some!

Smidge definitely gets adopted by the defenders and loves that she has a friend group who can keep up with her workout routine!

Creek and kismet finally get to meet each other which makes branch and poppy go into friend matching mode where they try to set up friend dates for them!

Trickee has a soft spot for broods which also extends to non borrower trollings and boy do kids exploit it

Sky Toronto asks for the help of scavengers and rescuers a lot, for some reason they’re both very good at finding and retrieving rare party items they’re very fast at it too.

Borrowers are known to sleep in packs so it’s not uncommon for other trolls to find branch and kismet snuggled underneath a shaded tree dozing off.

Sometimes poppy will remind defenders that they’re not living in the compound anymore and can join in the parties the offer is usually declined but poppy will still save some cupcakes for them.

AAAHhh I love this au so much!!! Gonna go draw some of these ideas now!!!

Dennis and his first wife Dot in 1978

Two things: Dot is an Ashley Voom-adjacent model and has a place on that family tree (I believe @108garys will elaborate in the notes). Also, Dennis's shirt is his now 6+ years old "Joyful Dead" graphic tee he was pictured wearing in the band poster secret, which I'm making a point of because of the Canadian Clarke AU lore below

"You've hardly changed a bit!" is a comment I imagine Dennis heard a lot in 1978 when he returns to the United States and to the people he once knew well. I sort of think of the late 1970s as his factory reset era, when, for several reasons, he's making an effort to reinstate his old personal identity after losing his grip on a lot of the things he thought made him himself.

Dot, a Canadian college student who is the chic popular kind of personality he's always admired, is one of those reasons. She and Dennis were set up to meet each other by a mutual acquaintance in Toronto in 1974, but they didn't hit it off right then. The complicated circumstances that had been molding Dennis in Canada didn't match her "bad boy" preference or his own image of himself. But after the failed Blackwood experiment and his return to Toronto in 1975, Dennis is lonely, enough to overlook any sign that his circumstances had matured him past the simple role he inhabited when he was younger, so he reintroduces himself to her as her type of man and, as they both believe, his authentic self.

Of course that kind of misjudgment can't last, but it only surfaces after they quickly marry in 1976. In 1977, Dennis is no longer in danger of being arrested if he returns to the United States. He holds off until Dot graduates college in 1978, and then he convinces her to follow him back to his home country so he can try to pick up with his old life where he left off. She resents the move, however, and many things have changed during the six years he was gone. It's increasingly evident that the two of them are not on the same page, which, combined with problems arising from immature relationship skills on both sides, causes them to decide their relationship was a mistake. They mutually agree to divorce in 1980 and try to make a clean break from each other's lives. (This particular development can look different in branch AUs).

Supernatural x Kismet Human AU

Hype and Sky Toronto would be the ones that stay behind on hunts, searching lore on whatever monster the others are hunting

Boom, Branch, Ablaze, and Trickee are hunters.

Branch hasn't seen his brothers ever since the fire that killed their grandma, he doesn't even remember them. Sky took him under his wing, teaching him ways in both life and monster hunting

Boom came along not to long ago, but he's Sky's nephew. Both his parents died due to a vampire, he was almost taken if it wasn't for the fact Ablaze came bursting through the door and hitting the thing

Ablaze, has been a runaway ever since he was 15, having seen his mom's killer, he spent his whole life tracking it down. He almost killed it, if it wasn't for the fact he heard a few screams from a house, saving a young Boom from death.

Trickee, force to watch his parents death, he was admitted into a hospital, but was later discharged thanks to Sky, who paired him up with Ablaze, due to the fact that the monster that killed their parents were the same one

Just something I drabbled. Although there is a SupernaturalxTrolls AU on AO3, which I highly recommend you read called "Carry on my wayward son (There'll be peace when you are done)"

So she decided to hide her music heritage.

Rosiepuff actually knew she was a rock troll from the start and told Ash Sr. her secret was safe with her.

Rosiepuff gave her approval of Ash's relationship with her daughter and a blessing for their marriage after eating her fluffleberry, saying it tasted really good for her.

She did tell Blueberry her music heritage after years of encouragement from Rosiepuff

Her kids call her “Mama”, while they call Blueberry “Ma”

Has made a presentation about her brothers and relatives and their low downs on Blueberry when they actually meet them.

Ash Sr. had to leave the troll tree with her three kids because some troll kept sending her threats that he knew she was a Rock troll and that if she didn't, she would be thrown off the troll tree by that same troll. (I'm not going to name that troll, but let's just say he was eaten by a Bergen.)

That same troll (the one threatening Ash) was later pushed off the troll tree by someone who didn't really like him; hint hint it was probably Rosiepuff.

But sadly, Ash Sr. has already left, not knowing that her wife is having another child.

Switcheroo Brainstorming

I'm making an role reversal au! I'm going to post this along with my posts for Viva, Poppy, and Branch specifically, which you can find by clicking on their names! Here's some ideas I have:

So Branch and Poppy are basically going to be full-on switching lines, though their backstories will be very different cause... it's kinda hard to replace 4 people with 1 sister and a father. So band together is going to be the most different! More details in the individual posts for the characters

I want "Better Place" to be replaced with "It Takes Two" for the final confrontation in TBT :)

Not all characters are going to be switch 1-to-1. Again, the brothers are going to be hard to switch for. Also, not all characters readily have someone to replace them with

There will be a lot of trollstopia characters that will be in the world tour switch, but they'll mostly have the personalities of the trolls they switch with so watching the show isn't a must (But i still recommend both shows, they're pretty fun!)

Most of the troll tribe leaders will be replaced with a trollstopia character, EXCEPT for Queen Essence and King Quincy cause I need them to be in those roles. They'll just change lines and outfits maybe?

I have no idea what to do with the bounty hunters so if you have a recommendation id love to hear it!

For the techno trolls it's going to be a triangle. Laguna-> Trollex -> Synth -> Laguna. The reason for this is changing Trollex and Synth would be too similar, and would leave Laguna with no one (Except for Bliss Marina)

I Have an Idea

So, I've been looking at a couple of Trolls aus, ideas, headcannons, and animatics (socola, rfsmith, and year2000electronics mostly). And I noticed there is a distinct lack of human hero aus aside from that one fanart of hero!Poppy and Newsman!Branch and I want to make one to start.

I have a decent outline and have most of the characters chosen roles.

Quick summary: In a world where 20% of the population are born with superpowers, heroes and villains combat against one another in powered up fights. Villains fight for their own selfish reasons, solo or connected to an organization. To combat these organized criminals, most governments have begun hero programs that can be taken by those 18 and older in colleges/universities to prepare those who wish to defend their homes legally by gaining a hero license. Those who don't enter a program and decide to fight crime without a license are considered vigilantes. Vigilantes are considered the grey area and can either be allies towards heroes or future villains.

Poppy Larkspur is a recent hero graduate that is looking forward to being a hero at Toronto's Agency with her hero friends Emily 'Smidge' Hughes and Willard 'Creek' Datura, alongside the rest of the snack pack who all have hero-related jobs.

Satin and Chenille (Codenames) are super suite designers that create hero costumes that are durable, comfortable, and fashionable(of course).

Cooper, Darnell, and Biggie are all support item makers/inventors of gadgets that our main trio rely on. If they need something, the inventors got it.

DJ Suki and Guy Diamond are underground heroes that hold multiple personas when going undercover. They are mainly intel collectors and have daylight jobs that land them in the underground more easily than one would expect.

Sky Toronto is the founder of Toronto Agency, and the mentor of the hero trio, is retired from active hero duty due to him taking in a civilian into witness protection.

This is mostly what I have and I might continue saying more, getting to our favorite grump. :)

You know, in the Branch Toronto au, I can see Sky really fumbling in caring for branch *at first.* but also being the only pop troll guardian that actually *tries* as well. And fixes those mistakes.

Partly because this man is married to his job, but also partly because he might treat branch as any other pop troll *at first.* Since we have seen Sky being able to predict the mass’s opinions multiple times before, it may really surprise him to see he’s wrong about how branch reacts to certain things. Just unexpected for Sky. But since he’s a problem solver sort of troll he’d readjust as needed. Branch would probably have the rockiest time with trusting Sky because of these blunders over all other adopted au vers of him. But eventually actions speak louder than words.

Also, imagine an unwanted intruder snuck into the fun time factory at night & Sky shows off the factory’s security system to Branch.

I wanna clarify that Pop Trolls did try. They tried and failed and rather than readjusting tactics, they tried the same thing again harder. When that didn't work they gave up. That's where I view most of the tragedy of Branch's situation. If anyone had tried just a little harder, if one person had managed to adjust to his needs even a little, he would be in a better place. (pun intended)

Branch would absolutely have initial issues with Sky's attempts at first, but Sky to me seems like the kind of guy to know when to pull out of an investment. In business you can't get into a sunk cost fallacy trying to make something work, so best to count your losses and move on. If Sky did something that didn't work, he'd cross it off the list and move on.

Branch would love making the security system better.

Der Gesamtsieger als „Master of Pwn“ wurde das Team Viettel. Unsere Lösung für eine Münchener Wohnanlage zeigt, wie sich der komplette Brief- und Paketempfang auch bei einer moderaten Zahl von Parteien zentral und – weiterhin wichtig – kontaktfrei abwickeln lässt. Die Oberflächengestaltung sorgt zusätzlich dafür, dass sich die Briefkasten- und Paketanlage trotz ihrer Ausmaße optisch nahtlos in die Gestaltung der Räumlichkeiten einfügt.

Eine Briefkastenanlage im Inneren des Hauses sorgt dafür, dass die Empfänger auch bei Schlechtwetter ohne Mantel und Schirm an ihre Post kommen. Was den Einwurf von Briefpost betrifft, hat sich in den letzten einhundert Jahren nicht wirklich etwas geändert (wenn man einmal von davon absieht, dass mittlerweile mehrere Firmen auf diesem Sektor miteinander konkurrieren).

Eine Paketanlage an gleicher Stelle hat nicht nur den Vorteil ähnlich bequemer Erreichbarkeit, sondern löst auch das bekannte Problem, dass Empfänger umso öfter nicht angetroffen werden, je höher wie Wohnung liegt und ja schwerer das Paket ist. PAKNO ist diskriminierungsfrei. Dieser Fachbegriff aus der Wohnungswirtschaft ließe sich auch mit „für alle“ übersetzen und steht dafür, dass wirklich jeder das System benutzen kann – ohne Schulung, Einweisung oder vorher abgeschlossene Verträge. Nicht nur ausnahmslos alle auf dem Markt agierenden Paketzusteller, sondern auch der Nachbar oder die sprichwörtliche Bäckersfrau können sich und Ihnen das Leben mit PAKNO einfacher machen.

Das Prinzip ist verblüffend einfach und besteht aus zwei Schritten:

Auswahl des Empfängers und eines leeren Fachs über den intuitiv bedienbaren, berührungsempfindlichen Bildschirm.

Nachdem das Paket eingelegt und das Fach wieder geschlossen ist, versendet PAKNO eine E-Mail mit einem geheimen Öffnungscode – einer nur einmal verwendbaren PIN – an die Person, für die das Paket bestimmt ist.

Das Einsatzgebiet

PAKNO bietet sich in erster Linie für Mehrfamilienhäuser an. Für Wohnanlagen mit mehreren Häusern ist auch eine separate, zentral gelegene Paketanlage denkbar. Sie benötigen lediglich eine Steckdose (230 V) und einen LAN-Anschluss. Die Verwaltung der Empfänger (Namen und Mailadressen) geschieht online über das PAKNOweb oder bei Bedarf durch KNOBLOCH. Oberflächenveredelung und Effektlacke

Je ne cherche pas simplement à copier le style médiéval. Mais je tiens à être aussi fidèle que possible au style des origines.Pouvez-vous vous présenter en quelques mots ? Votre parcours universitaire et professionnel ? J’ai fait des études universitaires en Science politique à l’Université. Cela dit… je travaille aujourd’hui dans les systèmes d’information comme technicien en virtualisation. On est très loin de l’héraldique là 😊 Du coup, d’où vient votre passion pour cette science ? J’ai toujours eu un très fort intérêt pour la chose médiévale depuis mon plus jeune âge. Je pense que cela a commencé avec les histoires et les films sur le Roi Arthur, Ivanhoé et autres Robin des bois. Intérêt qui s’est transformé en passion à partir de l’âge de quatre ans… et qui est resté vivant depuis ! J’ai eu la chance de visiter de nombreux pays européen comme l’Angleterre, la France, l’Italie, la Croatie et l’Espagne, l’occasion d’admirer de nombreux sites historiques de l’époque médiévale. Vous commencez à être considéré comme un artiste héraldique classique (cf l’article que vous a consacré le Hogtown Heraldry, le journal de la branche de Toronto de la Société Royale d’héraldique du Canada) mais vous venez du monde plus « underground » des forums internet Discord ou Reddit. Vous pouvez nous présenter cet univers et comment il vous a aidé à devenir un artiste héraldique à part entière ? J’ai commencé, comme beaucoup d’Américains, via ces sites web un peu particulier, à la fois non légitimes et non pertinents, qui proposent des blasons au grand public. House of Names par exemple propose des armoiries qui sont liés à votre nom de famille (et font croire aux gens qu’ils peuvent se les approprier). A travers de sites comme Reddit and le serveur de chat Discord, j’ai vite découvert les vraies règles et traditions de l’art héraldique. Les membres de ces communautés m’ont aidé et guidé dans ma découverte de la vraie tradition héraldique.
