Hi. Still haven't written anything. Wow. First, I am reversing last week's schedule edict. It's now going to loosely follow a weekly schedule, though sometimes not really. So, for the next few days, I am launching a Writing Crusade. I will write as much as possible: priority goes to the Bramblecrow oneshot, might quit Chapter 5, and Broken. Then everything else: isyfts 2, totiok, Still Unstarted Blacier Winglet, utopia, hopefully kotr gets some plot outline here.

Yeah, I think the map for nonbinary Crowfeather, while very good and lovely to watch, might have been the reason it became more popular.

Some good Crowfeather ships tho are Crowfeather x Squirrelflight (which has a really good fic being written rn) Crowfeather x Spiderleg 👀👀

But yes, ship HareMouse it's very cute and they even trained in the dark forest together so the have angst and chemistry!!

Lol BrambleCrow is OTP. Yeah, that’s definitely up there in my favourite moments I’ve written (I’m slowly realising alot of my fave scenes have Bramble and Crow interacting lol) I will say that these two do have a better relationship in ILYL than they did in canon, but I wouldn’t say they’re exactly close. There are some moments tho ;)

uhm brainstorming that bramblecrow au, kinda wanna make it a new prophecy rewrite!

the prophecy cats would be: crow, feather, tawny, and bramble (and storm tags along) and in this au crow is a lil older so theyre all kinda besties

theyd also get some name changes like ex. Crowfang, Brambleheart, Tawnyclaw, and Featherstream (Stormfur keeps his og name)

- this is literally the only toxic ship i actually like, everything else makes me uncomfy. idk why but for some reason bramblecrow just grabbed me by the fuckin throat. it's probably because i don't like either character (and i downright hate bramblestar), and i don't think they're particularly interesting, either.

- "oh but moth one of the things you hate about bramblesquirrel is the age gap, aren't squilf and crow a similar age?" well you see friendo, the erins did a little something with crowfeather i like to call "severely fucking up the timeline"! see, they made crow's dad deadfoot. deadfoot dies at some point off screen during the darkest hour, and in crowfeather's trial, crowfeather remembers him as alive- "Come to think of it, my father, Deadfoot, was always busy, since he was Clan deputy. I'd have died if I'd had to talk to him about she-cats!" the specific mention of crowfeather's lovelife indicates that he was more than likely an apprentice when deadfoot died- WHICH MEANS that in actuality, crowfeather and bramblestar are similar in age, not crow and squilf! "well then why is he still an apprentice in the new prophecy? shouldn't he be a warrior like brambleclaw?" i have yet another answer for this! two, actually!! answer one is the erins fucked up the timeline. answer TWO is that basically everyone comments on crowpaw's bad attitude, even other windclan cats, so it wouldn't be unlikely for him to have his ceremony held back because of that!

hhnnnngh dude i wish i wasn't the only one who does BrambleCrow stuff. idk what they actually bonded over in the books, but i myself disregard canon 95% of the time... i just feel like the only one. and it makes me feel vewy sad. because i wish i could see an actually good writer and/or artist do a couple of things about them. but alas *flops on table* wishes don't always come true... sigh
