Danny declares to his friends that he will marry the next person to summon him. He gets summoned seconds after, and Danny 'commit to the bit' Fenton is not about the back down from a challenge so clearly issued by the universe.
He doesn't like his options when it turns out to be a cult of middle aged corporate office workers.
But fear not Danny! For its seems someone brought along their kid and they happen to be around your age!

Over the years Tim had lead, taught and helped countless other teens come into thier powers and said teens looked at him like he hung the stars. They admired him greatly and wanted to do something to make thier mentor/big brother figure proud.
So when they found Tims soulmate they were absolutely ecstatic.
Yeah sure, the guy was the child of evil mad scientists and apparently the heir of a creepy fake vampire supervillian but they'd seen weirder couples in the hero community. They just needed to convince him to join the heros side!
Naturally they try to kidnap Danny and he has no idea whats going on other than a bunch of kids in superhero costumes are trying to abduct him. Between his powers as Phantom, that they seem to not know about (thank the ancients that ghosts don't show up well of pictures and that he started wearing a mask) and his own parents paranoid housebuilding techniques Danny escapes them easily.
Danny figured they would leave him alone eventually, right? If not he would have to call the cops for stalking and harassment.
If that didn't work he would just set all the house lazers to stun. Worst case scenario he might have to call the Justice League emergency line and yell at them to come get thier kids.
It would also be funny if he just kicked them out as Phantom

Tim Jr., Coffee Machine Extraordinaire
WC: 2314
Dick worried his lip between his teeth as he looked Tim over. His little brother was standing, zombie-like, in front of the Cave’s coffee machine.
Not that it was unusual.
Just the thing was, Tim had been doing better. His dark circles had been fading, his snippy moments less often, his focus better, and he’d even been putting on some much needed weight. Dick had been so proud (as had Alfred and Bruce). But now the circles were darkening again and Tim was staring at the coffee machine like he used to— like it was his only salvation.
Jason stepped up to Dick’s side, joining him in the bird watching.
“Hey Timbit,” Jason said, breaking the silence of the moment. Trust Jason to get down to it.
“Hum?”
“What happened to your hand?”
Tim blinked down at his gauze wrapped hand as if he had forgotten about the injury. Not a good sign with Tim. Dick was betting on over 48 hours without proper sleep at this point.
“Oh.” Tim said, the exclamation was emotionless. “Tim Junior bit me.”
Dick and Jason exchanged looks. Who now?
“Um, did you get a pet, baby bird?” Dick gently asked.
“Hum?”
Jason rolled his eyes. “Who’s Tim Junior, Timberino.”
“Oh.” Tim said. The brothers waited impatiently for Tim’s brain to roll over. “My coffee maker. Little brat refused to make me any…”
“Okay, yep, alright. No patrol for you tonight Timtam,” Jason said with a clap of his hands.
“Wait, what? No. Just let me get some coffee and I’ll be ready to go,” Tim whined.
“I think Jason’s right, Tim,” Dick said, stepping up to gently guide his brother away from the coffee machine.
Tim looked back over his shoulder at the machine as they walked away. Dick could practically see Jason building a plan as he lead them over to the vehicle area.
“We’ll go back to your Nest, Timbuktu. We can keep an eye on the ops from there while the rest of the idiots have to run around in this damn cold. Bet it’s going to sleet later,” Jason said gleefully.
“I see how it is, you just want to be warm. Sure you aren’t just faking those broken ribs to get some extra time off?” Dick asked, playing into the show of it. They just had to keep Tim distracted until Jason had him bundled back up in his apartment.
“Oh no. You’ve found me out,” Jason deadpanned as he tossed Tim his helmet. At least Bat reflexes were still in play and Tim caught the helmet without even looking at it.
“I knew it!” Dick cried, dodging Tim’s smacks as he doubled checked that the helmet was secure. “That’s it. I’m crashing your Nest Party after patrol so you better save me some food.”
“What makes you think there will be food?” Jason asked. His words were tough, but Dick watched him tug Tim’s arms until the other gripped him tightly. Baby bird was in good hands.
“Jaybird,” Dick said, “it’s you, of course there’s going to be food.”
Jason’s short was almost lost over the sound of the motorcycle starting. Dick waved enthusiastically as the bike sped out of the cave before he let his hand and smile both drop.
He really hoped that Tim just needed some sleep.
-
Dick landed silently onto the balcony. The lights were on low inside, changing subtly enough that Dick could tell the T.V. must be on. He found the hidden panel to flip up and enter his codes for the door’s locks to hiss open.
Jason was watching him from over the couch and even without seeing it, Dick could tell when Jason’s fingers relaxed around the gun he must had been holding. He raised a finger to his lips, and Dick gave a little nod back.
Dick slunk silently over to the couch, bracing his arms on the back right next to Jason’s head. He had to hold back a coo at the sight of Tim curled up under a fluffy green blanket with his head pillowed against Jason’s thigh. Jason must have known how close Dick was to making a noise because he smacked his hand into Dick’s face.
Hands raised, Dick backed away with a silent laugh. After rinsing off quickly in the shower he dug out some sweats from ‘his’ drawer in the guest bedroom. Tim might act like he never wanted them in his space, but he still kept a drawer for each of them stocked with civilian clothing and relaxing wear. And Dick knew his favorite cereal was stocked in the pantry too. Stomach rumbling, Dick padded back out to the open living space.
Jason must have pulled an Indiana Jones and slipped out from under Tim because he was in the kitchen making up a plate of left overs for Dick. Dick bounded over to peer into the boxes. “Ooh, Thai.”
He skipped back a step as Jason smacked at his hand with the serving spoon.
“How long has he been out?”
“Not long after eating. Food got here right after us, so most of the night,” Jason said, his words a low rumble in his efforts to stay quiet.
“Just tired then?” Dick asked, still hoping that was all it was.
Jason’s frown didn’t reassure him.
“What?”
“Sleep was restless for hours. He kept… dun know. Searching for something,” Jason said with a little shrug. “Not nightmares but not easy rest.”
Dick sighed and leaned back against the counter. He chewed idly on his thumb, wondering what was bothering their baby bird. “New cases?”
“Not from me. Wrapped the last one up last week and B’s out of town.”
“Damian wouldn’t ask. Steph is busy with the girls. And there’s nothing from me. Something made him take a turn.”
Jason just hummed and popped the plate into the microwave. Dick was never sure if Jason knew how much the noise sounded like one Batman would make. He never risked mentioning it. Dick glanced over at his brother and then past him as the shiny red caught his eye. “That it?”
“What?”
Dick jutted his chin at the coffee maker. “Tim Junior”
“…guess it is. Odd looking machine, aint it? Think he messed with it?”
“Someone had to,” Dick said, moving around Jason. The coffee machine did have a distinctly home brewed look to it. None of the knobs matched and the one panel was a slightly different shade of red like it had been spray painted to match.
“Freak’n mad scientist,” Jason groused as he stopped the microwave before it could beep.
“More engineering then he normally does,” Dick murmured. He reached out to flip the top of the machine open. It felt like solid work… the lid snapped back down with a clack.
“Shh.”
“…it wasn’t me. The machine moved.”
“Shut it, dickface.”
“I’m not kidding,” Dick hissed. “I just went to open it—”
The lid snapped open on its own.
Dick reached out to blindly smack at Jason’s arm.
“Stop it. I saw. Could just be a spring—” Jason reached out to touch it and the coffee machine lunged forward, narrowly missing Jason's fingers. "Holy fuck!"
“Did his coffee machine really bite him?!?” Dick screeched.
(Quietly.)
(He refused to wake Tim.)
“Maybe really, really strong springs?” Jason hissed back as he reached for the machine again.
Dick tackled the coffee machine as it sprang off the counter. The machine struggled, snapping its top open and closed as it strained for Jason. It was starting to heat up in his arms.
“Unplug it!”
“It’s not even plugged in!”
“What do you mean it’s not—”
The lock in the front door turned with a click and both brothers froze. The coffee machine snapped again in Dick’s arms and he shushed it without thinking.
The door creaked open.
“Tim? Starlight? You awake babe?” Whoever it was spoke quietly, like they knew how much of a light sleeper Tim was. There was a soft bang and a quiet curse as a slight figure slipped into the apartment hauling a carry-on suitcase and messenger bag that he dumped by the door. He turned away from locking the door and froze.
Three pairs of blue eyes blinked at each other.
“What are you doing to Tim Junior?” the stranger whisper screamed as he scrambled forward.
Dick let the guy snatch the coffee machine, backing up with his hands raised to show he was harmless. Not that he was, of course, he was running through all the places that he knew Tim had hidden weapons.
Not that the guy looked like much of a threat with the way he was petting the coffee machine and cooing at it. “It’s okay baby, the bad man doesn’t have you any more.”
Dick swore the coffee machine was purring back.
“Okay, who the fuck are you,” Jason growled.
Jason only got a single threatening step forward before he froze at a whine that came from a couch. Tim pulled himself up by the back of the couch, draping himself half over it.
“Danny?”
The guy— Danny— glanced at them before looking at Tim. “Hey starlight. So. Um, your brothers are here tonight?” The end of his sentence rose up in a little squeak.
Tim froze, going pale in a way that scared Dick a little as his eyes darted between all of them. “What day is it?”
“Sunday, babe.”
“Oh shit…”
“Want to introduce us, Timmallow?” Jason rumbled.
Dick was pretty sure that answer was ‘no the fuck I do not’.
Seems Danny thought the same as he jerked the hand not holding the coffee machine behind him. “I can just… leave and pretend I was never here?”
“No!” Tim said, scrambling over the back of the couch and sliding to stand next to Danny. “No, um. I should have—”
“It’s fine, babe.”
“No it’s not! I’ve been meaning to introduce you to them but— ugh.” Tim buried his face in his hands.
“Why don’t we go sit on the couch?” Dick suggested. He made sure to plaster on a cheerful smile. “Though, um, maybe without Tim Junior?”
Danny snorted and moved to set the coffee machine down on the kitchen island. Dick and Jason both gave it a wide berth as they headed over to the couch to sit. Dick steered them to stay on one side of the L-shaped couch while Tim and Danny sat on the other.
An awkward silence settled over the group.
Well they couldn’t have that. “So, Danny was it?”
“Yep, Danny Fenton. You’re… Dick? And Jason?”
“Yeah! Tim talks about us?”
“Of course, you’re his brothers,” Danny said. He reached up to rub at the back of his neck. “I guess… you haven’t heard about me?”
“Um, no,” Dick admitted. He could feel his smile falter for a moment at the hurt in Danny’s eyes.
“Danny—” Tim started.
“It’s fine.”
It didn’t sound fine.
“No it’s not,” Tim said. “I kept meaning to tell them but they— do you know how over the top they are? They would have been over here in five minutes to meet you and then for the next, like, week as they all got back into town. They would be everywhere for weeks and…”
Tim picked at his sweat pants, looking small and nervous. “And you just really moved in a few weeks ago and I wanted you to myself for longer.”
“Hey, starlight,” Danny said and reached out to curl his hand over Tim’s. “It’s okay.”
“No, it’s not and I’m sorry. So, officially, Danny, these are my brothers, Dick and Jason. Dick, Jason, this is my boyfriend Danny Fenton. He’s an engineering student at Gotham U.”
Dick offered his best smile. “I guess that explains the coffee machine!”
“Like fuck it does, that thing is alive,” Jason snapped. “It bit me!”
“You were grabbing him!” Danny said.
“It bit Tim too!”
“Aw, Tim Junior, no,” Danny sighed, taking Tim’s other hand and looking at the bandages carefully. “I wasn’t even gone for a week and you two were fighting?”
Tim whined. “He wouldn’t let me have any coffee!”
“How many cups were you on?”
Tim ducked his head in a mumble.
“How many was that?”
“Seven.”
“Tim!”
“You were gone! I couldn’t sleep,” Tim sulked.
The fight seemed to just drain out of Danny at that and he kissed Tim’s knuckles gently. “Ask your family next time before it gets so bad, okay babe? They’re obviously willing to look after you. And then Tim Junior won’t bite you.”
“Yeah Timmander, we won’t let you suffer,” Jason said with a smirk that had Tim narrowing his eyes at him.
Dick elbowed Jason (which was as effective as going for a brick wall). “We won’t. We’re happy to be around if you’re feeling lonely. Especially if it keeps you safe from your coffee machine!”
“Seriously,” Jason said, “What is that thing, er, Tim Junior made of?”
“Oh! Ectoplasm,” Danny said with a smile.
Dick paused. “…um, what?”
“Ectoplasm. You know, ghost juice?” Danny held out his cupped hand and green liquid pooled in it as if seeping out of his skin.
Jason leapt up and behind the couch before Dick was even registering what he was seeing. “What the fuck!? Why the fuck can your boyfriend make pit juice Timmy?”
Tim buried his face in his hands. “Not pit juice.”
“Ghost juice. Adjacent but very different, from what Tim has explained to me,” Danny said, the liquid fading away.
“That sure looked like pit water!”
“It wasn’t, see, pit water is pulled from the living while—”
“So,” Dick said quietly, leaning over to Tim. “Maybe not just that you wanted to keep him to yourself, huh?”
Tim just groaned and tried to bury himself under the green blanket and into the couch. “I should have just let Tim Junior eat me.”
-----
AN: Thanks to spite, finally got back to this and finished it up! I know not the firmest ending, but it covered what I wanted to~
Make sure to be better than Tim and hydrate and rest! Also stay delightful, darlings!

Can we cupping please?
Coffeeverse 👈 if you want to know about this verse, you can find it here.
Tim is a Cup who really needs a lot of caffeine. He feels sleepy and tired all the time, even though he drinks his coffee. (by mixing it with Redbull and Monster) Which his family has banned it from him.
So Tim determines to find a Coffee who can cupping with him without telling his family(Most of them are Cup like him). He still has a lot of cases to find information about, and he doesn't want to fall asleep on the Batcomputer.
That's why he was now walking on the sidewalk, sniffing through the air for the Coffee.
Until he smelled the most fragrant coffee in his life. He followed the scent until he saw a man who looked like he hadn't slept in many days.
He hurriedly walks up to the man before grabbing his shoulder and say in serious voice.
"Can I cupping with you?!"
——————————
Danny didn't know what to say.
He was walking and saw some man smelling the people(which he found it's a little creepy), before he made eye contact with Danny and walked up to him.
He thought this man was gonna pick fight with him, until he asked Danny if he wanted to cupping with him.
This man was wearing a hat, glasses, and a mask. His clothes were completely covered. How can he not think that this man is some thief?
Still, he has to answer his question first.
"Can we find somewhere to talk about it?"
They found a cafe to sit, and Danny knows this man's name now. His name is Tim.
"So why do you want to cupping with me?"
"I want to find someone who can cupping with me. Cause I feel sleepy all the time."
As Tim talked, his eyes were about to close every moment, which Danny wasn't surprised.
Danny wishes he could feel a bit as sleepy as Tim. He hadn't gotten to sleep yet, because of the too much caffeine in his body.
Speak of, he can cupping with Tim right now. Tim wants caffeine, and he wants less caffeine in his body.
"You can cupping with me."
"Really?!!" Danny nodded. Tim thanks him before asking to hold his hand.
Then they had an indescribable feeling when their hands touched. Danny started to feel sleepy, which put him in a good mood. Danny had never cupping with anyone and felt this comfortable before.
For Tim, he didn't know how to describe this, but it is the best coffee he has ever tasted. Even though he had held other Coffee's hands, it didn't taste like Danny's.
They held hands for a moment before letting go. The flavor still lingered on Tim's fingertips. It made him want to hold Danny's hand longer.
And something came to their mind after cupping together. They had never felt this way with anyone before. Which mean...
"Are we..."
"I think we are blends"
"..../...."
They hadn't said anything until Tim broke the silence.
"So...do you want to go to my place? Like hang out after this?"
"Yeah, but i want some sleep first. Can I go sleep at your place?"
"Sure. While you're sleeping, I can do my work."
"Deal." "Deal."
"Lead the way, Tim."
P.S. Can Tim feel like he is more active than before? If the caffeine from Danny has some of ectoplasm?

So I LOVE the idea of a meet the parents fic where Danny is dating one of the bat kids and he is invited over to meet the rest of the family.
Whatever batkid you like (i personally like Tim x Danny)
And dinner is going GREAT, danny is charming the hell out of everyone when he says something vaguely concerning about his home life that borders neglect (or even just straight abuse) and Danny doesnt know what he said was wrong and just keeps eating without a thought.
Maybe he complimented Alfred’s cooking and said, “man this is great! Even better when it doesn’t get reanimated by your parents experiments” or “wow, I wish my folks cooked meals for me and my sister like this.”
and Bruce just gets that look in his eye. you know the one! And whoever is next to Bruce kicks him in the shin and glares at him like, “I know what your thinking! Don’t you dare!” And bruce just looks at them like, “but I cant not adopt him!” And danny is blissfully unaware of this whole conversation.
But if damien was the one who brought danny he would immediately offer for danny to stay without consulting ANYONE. like after he says vaguely concerning things damien is just like, “move here and you don’t have to go hungry ever again.” Or “live with me and i will protect you forever.” Or even just, “bring your sister next time, i am concerned for your health if your parents can reanimate food.”
On the flip side: Danny bringing one of the bats home with HIM!
Jazz would be SO excited to meet Danny’s significant other! Danny had been dreading bringing his bat home with him because his parents were EMBARRASSING (absent or explosive) so there they are sitting around the table waiting for jack and maddie and eventually danny sighs and just says its ok and to start eating. Jazz almost gets up to go hound their parents about this but danny stops her and smiles. Then like a hour later an explosion in the basement shakes the house and up from the basement Jack and Maddie wearing full hazmat suits burst through the basement doors as smoke bellows out. In the possess maddie greets them and goes back to doing what she was doing. The whole time the bat is mentally cataloging very problematic behavior the Fenton’s are showing as well as thinking of ways to bring danny and his sister somewhere safe.
OR
Jack and Maddie cause a fire in the kitchen while Danny’s bat is over and the fenton kids sigh like this has happened before, danny turns to jazz “ill go get the fire extinguisher.” And jazz nods, “Ill order takeout, any preferences?”
OR
Danny comes home with their bat to Jazz looking nervous and when danny sees her he immediately realizes that it is his parents doing the cooking tonight and is about to walk right back out the door with their bat but his dad walks out and stops him with a bright smile.
The bat is intimidated by Jack’s sheer size (he is a very large man and they never thought that someone could be taller than Superman but here was Jack Fenton) and then when they sit down to eat after Jack spent an hour talking at them. But then the food is reanimated and starts to attack and so the bat fights back and impresses the fenton parents with their fighting skills.
Either way both would be a disaster and i am LIVING for it!!!!!

A Blanket Full of Stars
EDIT: MASTERLIST
Jason was 6 years old when Danny was born, and he remembered that Danny looked like a wrinkly monkey wrapped in Jason’s softest blanket that he could find in his closet. The blanket had all these stars and planets, and tiny little rocket ships that look like they’re about to crash into the moon.
Jason giggled, because his baby brother looked like a monkey in space.
Jason loves him.
That day of his birth, when Jason held the little baby in his arms, he promised to be the best big brother ever. He’ll make sure that no one bullies his brother for looking like a tiny monkey, and beat up anyone that even tries to beat up his brother. He’ll read all the books the old ladies from the diner gave him, and turn on the radio when Danny wants to listen to music because Jason sure as hell can’t sing.
But his mom said they couldn’t keep him. They couldn’t afford to keep him.
Jason was heartbroken.
So, some social workers went looking for a family to take Danny in.
The day the new family came to pick up Danny, Jason held Danny the whole morning, not letting go of his baby brother who was sleeping so peacefully.
Danny had also gotten attached to Jason. He’d stop crying when Jason holds him, rocks him, carries him. He’d make little ‘num-num’ sounds when Jason feeds him. And when Jason talks to him, he’d reply with a ‘bwah!’ and an ‘awuwuwu!!’
Danny can’t lift anything yet, but he’d hold on to Jason’s finger. Danny can’t roll over yet, but he’d lay his chubby cheek on Jason’s shoulder. Danny can’t talk yet, but Jason just knows when Danny calls for him.
So, when the new family comes into the house with the social worker, Jason couldn’t hold back the tears. No, he couldn’t let go of Danny.
Danny was still a month old! What if he gets sick in the car ride! What if the parents forget Danny because he’s so small? Danny might not look like a monkey anymore, but what if the parents leave him alone anyways? How can he trust these people to take care of Danny?
Oh, they have a daughter??
It doesn’t matter!! She is a 2 years old girl that’s crying when she saw Jason crying. She can’t take care of Danny! She can’t feed Danny, or bathe him!! Her tiny arms can’t carry him either!
Danny can’t go with them!
But his mom was crying with him. “I’m sorry,” she said, hugging him when the two parents took Danny. Jason’s head was hugged close to her chest, but Jason had a clear view of his baby brother. His baby brother that was making distressed sounds while being held by unfamiliar people. “I’m sorry, but Danny won’t be able to live a good life here, baby. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry.”
Jason hated this. Jason could take care of Danny, he promises! He can! He won’t even let his good-for-nothing dad touch him like the month Danny was with them!
But, when the baby girl, Jazz, was lifted by the giant man, Danny stopped making such sad sounds. Then, Jason watched as Jazz lifted her hand. And he was ready to run in and stop her from slapping his brother, but he stopped. He stopped because she patted Danny’s cheek so gently.
And Danny... Danny cooed the same way he would at Jason. Danny held the little toddler’s finger and babbled loudly, like he would when he’s being held by Jason.
Jason hated it. He hated the little baby girl. Danny was going to a better family, going to be taken care by a girl he’ll call his sister. And Jason will be forgotten! Danny won’t ever remember Jason anymore!
It wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair!
Jason ran to his and Danny’s room. Well, his room now. All of Danny’s things had been packed.
Then, Jason saw the blanket. The blanket that made Danny look like a little monkey in space. It’s the softest blanket Jason has. And Jason doubts that the new family would have a blanket full of stars like his does.
“Jason! They’re about to leave!”
He picks up the blanket, folds it, and runs downstairs. Danny was all buckled up in the car seat the new family purchased just for him. He was sucking on a binky that the new family bought too.
The new family saw the blanket Jason was holding.
“It’s... It’s for Danny,” he told them.
His mom pursed his lips. “It’s not washed,” she said.
But Jazz made grabby hands towards the blanket. “Ish Danny’sh!!” she said, still reaching for it.
The woman, who was going to Danny’s new mother, smiled kindly and took the blanket. She unfolded the blanket, and laid it over Danny, who cooed loudly the moment he held the softest blanket Jason owned.
It wasn’t a spaceship, but Jason felt like Danny was being flown to a whole other planet. It sucked, and it hurt, and Jason was going to miss his monkey baby brother.
He looked into Danny’s car seat and patted Danny’s tummy. Danny held his finger and latched on to it. “Awu!”
Jason sniffed. “I’ll miss you, Danny,” he said. Then, he brought Danny’s tiny hand up to his lips and kissed it. “I’m going to miss you so, so much.”
Jason felt his mom’s hand on his back. “It’s time for them to go, Jason,” she said softly.
Jason huffed. Then, he looked towards Jazz, and gave her a firm look. “Take care of him, okay?” he said, to which Jazz blinked. “Even when adults think they’re taking care of their kids, take care of Danny, okay? He’s small, and he looks like a monkey.”
Jazz looked to Danny, as if to confirm he’s a monkey. She pouted at him. “No mo’key!”
Jason huffed, grinning. “Good, now I know you’ll take care of him...”
He stepped out of the car and stood beside his mom. When the adults were done talking, the new parents stepped into their car. And then, the car started.
His mom was waving. She was crying, but she was waving.
“Say goodbye, Jason,” she said.
He couldn’t do such a thing. He couldn’t lift his hand. And he couldn’t bring himself to talk.
Finally, the car started moving.
Jason couldn’t help it. The car was already a block away, but... but...
He ran. He ran after the car ignoring his mother’s yell for him.
“DANNY!!!” he cried, gasping and sobbing. He wanted his brother back. He wanted him BACK.
“DANNY!!!!!!”
The car turned. There was a traffic light that turned green. There was a truck.
“JASON!!!” he heard his mom cry.
But Jason... Jason was flying.
He looked up to see Robin holding him, gently landing in front of his mom, who ran up to Jason and hugged him tightly. “Oh, my baby...” she cried.
Jason... he... Jason cried, hugging his mom just as tight.
He couldn’t hear his mom thanking Robin, nor hear Robin ask if everything was okay. He didn’t feel his body being lifted and carried into their horrible apartment that smelled like beer. He didn’t feel himself being laid onto his bed. Jason scooted on instinct, but there was no tiny body that was going to be laid with him.
Instead, his mom told him to scoot near the wall, where Danny would have been. Jason would be the body that blocks Danny from falling.
His chin trembled, but he scooted near the wall anyways. And his mom laid beside him, petting his hair and hugging him close to her.
“I miss him,” said Jason.
“I know, baby,” she said, kissing his forehead. “I’m sorry...”
Jason shook his head. “He’ll be safe with them?” he asked.
“Yes,” his mom said. “Safer and will grow up healthier. He’ll be loved and cared for. He’ll have a normal life, one that’s better than Gotham.”
Jason chose to believe her. He had to.
*******
Okay, so, I cried while writing this whole thing. And, I just--- Oh my godddd....
So, headcanons and notes for this AU!!
- As you’ve read, it’s a Jason and Danny as Bio-Brothers!! Jason is 6 years old uwu, and Danny was just born! Danny stayed with them for a whole month while the social worker was looking for potential families to adopt Danny. They came across the Fentons, who were more than willing to take in a child that came from one of the poorest of families in Gotham. They drove all the way to pick Danny up themselves.
- It takes Jason 3 whole months to get over Danny. He noticed his mom and his dad fighting more and more every day, until one day his mom was... weird. IT was the start of his mom’s drug addiction. This is also when Jason finds out that she’s not his actual mom, but she still loves him. She loves him so much, but she was also tired.
- Cue major events, like Catherine Todd dying over overdose, Jason meeting Batman, Jason in the middle of Dick and Bruce’s argument. What’s different here is that Jason ends up being a little bit closer to Dick, because Dick remembers saving Jason when he was smol. Dick visits the manor more often, only to spend time with Jason and nothing more (maybe for Alfred’s cookies too). Jason dies, Superboy-prime alters reality and Jason gets revived, Talia finds him, dumps him into the Lazarus Pits, blah blah blah, the rest is history.
- In Danny’s corner, who is now 15 years old, for a show-and-tell, Mr. Lancer prompts the students to bring something from their baby days that isn’t a binky or a baby bottle, and to tell the class about it in the most creative way they could.
- Danny tells Jazz about it, and Jazz remembers about the box in her closet full of Danny’s things of when he was a baby that she didn’t want her parents destroying. She brings it out and shows it to Danny, and he finds the blanket.
- “Heh. Looks like even when I was a baby, I was into space.”
- Jazz had a strained smile on her face. “Yeah. Mom and Dad said that it took you 3 whole years to let go of that blanket,” she said. But her smile was still strained.
- Danny furrows his brow at her and asks, “What? What’s wrong?”
- Jazz sits Danny down. Her parents were going to tell him... someday... when they weren’t busy with their ‘job’. So, Jazz decides to just do it now.
- Danny finds out that he was adopted. Jazz tells him that her earliest memory was this older kid giving Danny the blanket, and calling Danny a monkey. “You held his finger and he kissed your hand, saying he’ll miss you. I think he was your older brother.”
- “I don’t understand,” said Danny. “Didn’t they want me?”
- Jazz nodded. “I asked Mom and Dad about it... your real family... they weren’t doing well. They were struggling financially. They said that the social worker suspected your real dad abusing your mom... I don’t know about your brother...”
- Jazz hugged Danny, who was crying. “They loved you so much, Danny,” she whispered. “So, so much.”
- Danny washed the blanket. After a wash, the blanket ended up becoming the softest thing in Danny’s room. He slept with the blanket, feeling a bit closer with his brother. Definitely his brother. It just felt right. And Danny knew than to ignore his intuition that was getting a bit too accurate now that he was half-ghost.
- Danny then asked Tucker to search about his family. “Todd, that was their last name,” he said. “My mom’s name was Catherine Todd, and my brother’s was Jason... My dad’s was... Will? William? Willis? Wilred? I don’t remember...”
- Tucker searched. And... “Dude... you’re... not going to like this.”
- “What? What’s wrong?” he asked.
- Tucker sucked in a breath. “I just want you to prepare yourself, okay? It’s not good news.”
- Danny frowned. “Just say it, Tuck.”
- Tuck gulps, but nods. Then, he shows Danny what he searched. Catherine Todd had died from overdose, Willis Todd was a crook that was murdered by Two-face. And Jason... his brother... he was adopted into a wealthy family! The Waynes! He managed to get into a prestigious school! And Danny wondered why Jason didn’t go find him? Did Jason ever think of coming to get him now that he was in a better place? And Danny, maybe he wouldn’t be going to Jason, but it would have been nice to reconnect somehow? Maybe not... They had their own lives.
- But then, Danny reaches the final paragraphs of the research results that Tucker put together.
- “He... He died?” he asked, reading and rereading what happened. An accident. An accident killed his brother.
- But, despite Tucker confirming it, it... didn’t feel right. And Danny’s intuition was getting better and better, more accurate. So, if it didn’t feel right that his brother died, then his brother probably isn’t dead. Did he fake his death? No... that didn’t feel right. He totally died. Then...
- Was he brought back to life?
- Bingo, his intuition said.
- “Dude? Hey, dude, are you okay?” Tucker was patting his back, talking softly and trying to ground Danny back from his panic attack.
- Danny made a decision. He was going to fly towards Gotham. He needed to find his brother. Check on him. Check on how he’s doing.
- After reassuring Tucker, he made plans. Then, during the weekend, Danny talked to Valerie to take over for him, along with Sam and Tucker, and he flew all the way to Gotham to look for his brother.
- He felt Death everywhere he flew. But he felt the calling of a malformed ghost-core. Jason? His intuition sang. So, Danny flew closer and closer, until he reached an apartment along a street that seemed abandoned, if it weren’t for the various gangster-looking people roaming along it.
- Danny transformed back into his human form, no longer feeling the strong pull, but a weaker version of it.
- ‘JASON!!’ his mind seemed to scream. He was about to see his brother. He was about to MEET his brother!! ‘JASON!!!!!’
- He was about to cross the street when... the light was turned green... and there was a truck and...
- Danny was flying. He wasn’t transformed, but Danny was flying in the air, held firmly by some teen in a hero get-up and a domino mask.
- Danny was plopped gently on the side-walk he was aiming to get to.
- “Phew,” said the teen. And, wow, he’s only slightly taller than Danny. He’s probably the same age as him... or older. He looked Danny up and down before asking, “So, you doing okay?”
- Danny nods. “I’m good,” he said. Wow, he’s got a nice voice. And a nice body. Are those abs real? Or are those just kevlar linings??
- “Where are you trying to go?” the teen asked, snapping Danny out of his close to sinful thoughts.
- “I’m looking for my brother,” said Danny, clutching onto the blanket tighter, thankful that the teen saved him or else it could have gotten ruined. Sure, he’s been hit by buses before, but not while he was in human form!! “He lives on this street.”
- The way the teen’s brows rose higher made the hero look a little cute--- FOCUS DANNY! He’s not here for cute boys in hero get-ups!! Oh shoot. Oh man. Oh no...
- “What’s your brother’s name?” the teen asked. And, Thank You!! Yes! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT DANNY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING!
- “You just look like someone who lives on this street,” the teen said, smiling a bit crookedly. OHHHHHHH WHY ARE YOU SMILING LIKE THAT?! THAT’S ILLEGAL! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO, NOT A THIEF OF HEARTS!!!!
- Calm yourself, Danny. Let’s find out whether we are talking about the same person. Danny blinked. “What’s that person’s name?”
- “Peter Todd,” the teen said.
- Feeling a bit dejected, Danny shook his head. “That’s not the person I’m looking for,” he said. “I’m looking for Jason Todd.”
- “Jason Todd is... dead,” he said, a bit hesitantly.
- “No, he’s not,” Danny said, a bit firmly.
- The teen took him by the shoulders, and brought Danny’s face closer to his. He could feel the teen’s breath. It smelled like coffee and breath mints. “Legally, he is,” the teen said.
- That... that got Danny’s attention. He whispered back, “What do you mean by-- oh.” Legally, his brother is dead. He died, he came back to life, but to everyone, Jason is dead. So... “He has a new civilian identity?” asked Danny.
- The teen leaned back and nodded. Then, he pointed to a door. “That’s Peter’s house,” he said. Then, he aimed his grappling hook to the sky.
- Danny stuttered a loud ‘thank you’, to which was responded to with a brief wave from the teen, who flew off to the next building over.
- Danny then went up to the door that belongs to Peter Todd. Jason Todd. His brother.
- Should he knock? Ring the doorbell?
- Before Danny could make a decision, the door opened for him.
- And there, in front of him, was a tall man who looked like a more human and slimmer version of Dan, a white streak in his hair, and a slight stubble on his chin. He had the same blue eyes as Danny. And those blue eyes widened when Danny brought up his blanket. His blanket full of stars, and planets, and tiny rockets that he loved so much the more he held on to it.
- “Jay... Jason?”
- The man’s chin wobbled, and Danny felt his own chin wobbling. Great. Both of them are going to cry. But, instead of saying anything, the man stepped towards him and brought him into a hug, a tight hug that’s so warm and full of love, Danny couldn’t help but hug back.
- “Danny?” Jason’s voice was breathy.
- Danny couldn’t respond, only letting out a small sound that was a mix of a whine and a grunt.
- Jason chuckled. “Still a monkey, aren’t ya?”
- Danny felt Jason’s core calming the more Danny stayed with him, and Jason felt himself lighter than he had in years. It couldn’t be because Danny was here, but it is! It is because Danny is here!
- Jason invites him inside. It was quiet at first, the two of them just taking in the other, trying to process how real this was. And then, they began exchanging stories. Something light, of what had been going on for the past years they’ve been apart.
- And then, the next thing they knew, it was already morning of the next day, and Danny needed to get back home. He gave one last hug to Jason, promising that he’ll visit again next week, and took off to the street, turning on his invisibility and flying back to Amity Park.
****
- Red Robin, or should we say Tim Drake, saw it all. From the moment Danny suddenly appeared to the moment Danny disappeared in the alleyway. He had just finished talking to Jason about some case they were working on together, although their relationship was still a bit rocky, when he saw the teen suddenly appear in the alleyway below Tim.
- Well, rocky relationship aside, Tim’s mind flew with a thousand thoughts a second when Danny confirmed who he was looking for. Danny knew for some reason that Jason was alive, but he didn’t know Jason’s fake identity. The teen knew where Jason lived, but he also looked like he was just going to go up some random door and hope that the person who opens it would be the person he’s looking for.
- Cass had taught him how to read sincerity of a person’s behavior, and Danny wasn’t hiding anything. He was sincerely looking for his brother.
- He was also kinda cute.
- “Tt. What are you spacing out about, Timothy? Your face is making a weird expression,” said the Demon Brat.
- Stephanie snickered. “Give him a break, Dames! Our dear Timmy-Wimmy’s in Wuuuuuuv~!”
- Tim sighed.
- Anything else that happens? It’s for another day <3

Braindead headcanons #2
Danny and Damian somehow gets along REALLY well (mostly because Danny already knew how to deal with feral children i.e. Danielle), Tim doesn't know how to feel about that
On that note, Damian is genuinely happy for Tim but will never admit it to his face so their interactions go as:
[when Tim is in the room]
Damian: Nightingale, when will you be leaving Drake? I'm certain you can do so much better than him
[when it's just them]
Damian: Please take care of my idiot brother for me, he smiles more when you're here

Ghost king au where Danny and Tim are married. Problem? Tim doesn't know it.
How did this happen? Oaiji board session gone horribly wrong? Did his parents sell him as a bride (even jokingly) to the ghost king? Did Tim buy some wierd antique jewelry and put it on for a disguise? Who knows!
Danny sees no reason to tell him seeing as ghost laws allow polygamy so Tim can live a normal life and date/marry whoever he wants and be none the wiser to his ghostly marital status.
In other words he avoids his problems as usual.
Tim would just like to know why supernatural entities scatter like roaches the moment he steps onto the scene

DP x DC: Sk8er Boi (v2)
He was a punk, He did ballet, what more can I say?
Tim skateboards. Between his nightlife and being a CEO, he doesn’t do it as much as he’d like but he still does it from time to time. When he swings around to Cass’s ballet studio to surprise her, he runs into one of the other ballerinas. Literally. Tim falls on his ass and falls in love.
Danny is a ballerina in Gotham. It wasn’t what he expected his life to be, but he enjoyed it well enough. He had taken up ballet to appease his sister. She had wanted him to take a class in something, have something outside of ghost fighting for his mental health. He had randomly signed up for the first thing to get her off his back. It just so happened to be ballet.
He was surprised to find he actually liked it. It was so different from anything he had done before, and it was kind of fun. And when he noticed that all the stretching and physical activity that came with it helped with his pain, well he was hooked. The portal accident really left his human body a wreck, and the sheer relief in his day to day was worth it.
Then one day, his friend Cass’s brother Tim ran into him. Literally. The goofy, sheepish look Tim had given him from the floor was very charming. He wondered if Cass would be mad if he asked her brother out...
or
Tim skateboards, Cassandra does ballet and there was an Avril Lavine reference right there.
