you then texted jirou to complain about his flaking ass to her and basically were planning to have an attitude for the next two-three business days

but eventually, he pulled through …thanks to jirou threatening that nigga life (on a serious note he did feel bad)

you heard a knock in your door while you were slouched on your bed, mindlessly scrolling through twitter. you grumbled ‘come in’ as you reluctantly looked up from your phone. and you saw the man himself, your boyfriend who ditched you.

“hey…” he sheeplishly waved, knowing you were upset with him. you rolled your eyes and looked back down at your phone. then, you felt the bed shift as he sat down in front of you. “look, i know you’re mad, and i’m sorry for canceling on you like that. i really should work on saying no to people… but i left early because i wanted to see you.” he said, smiling up at you when he said that last part. you were definitely fighting back a smile, and he saw right through you.

“c’mon now, don’t try to hide it! i know how my charm-”

with that, you rightfully smacked him in the arm. “OW! hey….” he dramatically whined, rubbing his arm where you hit him. you giggled and looked at him. “it’s fine, just don’t do it again. i missed you, y’know.” you said. he smiled back at you, then pecked your temple that was right in his line of vision. of course, you could never stay mad at someone as cute as him.

you knew exactly what you were getting into when you decided to date this… thing (love you bakugou 😁)

so it’s no surprise that he didn’t yet learn how to be not easily pissed off when you first got together

basically, if you think you’re gonna get even the slightest bit of affection from bakugou in PUBLIC within the first five months of your relationship,

that being said, it all started when you wanted to greet him with a simple *side hug* at his desk

not really bothered by the fact he was sorta having a conversation with kirishima at the moment, you went over to him

you felt embarrassed. disrespected even.

so you took the initiative to ignore him for the rest of the day 🤝

you were at your last class of the day and you had to work in partners that were going to be randomized. and to your luck, you were paired with none other than your aggy ass boyfriend. when you failed to bribe sero into switching partners since he was working with jirou, you reluctantly pulled up your chair to bakugou’s desk.

as you wordlessly began doing the worksheet by yourself without exchanging a single word to him, you heard him clear his throat. you then set down your pencil and glare up at him.

“you mad?” he bluntly asked (wow what a way with words 😍). that immediately made you go back to what you were doing, not even wanting to respond since the answer should be obvious. “listen, i know that wasn’t cool, alright? i didnt mean to make you feel embarrassed or whatever, i just didn’t see you comin’ towards me.”

“…ight.” you say nonchalantly.

“ight?”

“mhm.”

long story short, you definitely held a grudge against him for the next few days. but it’s natural for couples to do petty things like that sometimes, so it all worked out and he made it up to you eventually (he claimed to made extra food for himself by accident for that entire week but we all know he spent his time cooking for you.)

he really is so sweet, but like anyone else he’s not perfect

now he’s a bit clueless when it comes to flirting and it’s especially hard for him to notice when someone is trying to come onto him

and he is a known pretty boy in class 1-A (before you say “well canonically he’s a gag chara–” HUSH!) so a handful of girls will try to flirt with him knowing damn well he’s taken

obviously, he’s dating you so he’s not interested in anyone else

however, you still couldn’t help but feel some type of way when you saw some girl trynna win over YOUR man

and it wasn’t clear that he wasn’t interested… in fact his obliviousness and slightly passive aggressive manner towards her had you thinking he didn’t mind at all

which is why he was confused to find you all pouty and pissed off on the couch when he came to find where you had gone

“there you are… why’d you head off? i thought i lost you!” he says nervously with a hint of relief as he sat down next to you. he was confused to see you scoot away from him, and a frown became visible on his face. “d-did i do something…?”

“i dunno, seems like you were more interested in that class 1-B girl over there.” you said at a volume so low he almost couldn’t hear what you said. he immediately panicked, not knowing how to reassure you that wasn’t the case.
