The thing is, I don't actually blame Aziraphale for thinking Crowley would want to become an angel again. At all. Crowley has been a miserable grumpy bitch on a consistent basis for thousands of years, and when was the last time Aziraphale saw him truly happy and unburdened? When he was an angel creating nebulas. I really think a big part of the problem here is, ironically, that he misses seeing Crowley openly and fearlessly happy, and he doesn't realize that the only thing that could really make Crowley happy like that again is... him.

i've been wondering how common hand stretching before drawing is among artists. bonus question: did you go to art school, and if so, were you taught to stretch your hands before drawing there?

Wanna watch me ramble about Frank and Eddie's Parenting for Much Too Long? No? Too bad here it is anyway!

I see a lot of interpretations of Frank and Eddie as parents where Eddie is the more lenient parent while Frank is more strict. But what if it was the other way around?

Update: ok. this just turned into me talking about their flaws as parents,, oh well that's cool to think about to

Frank's "not afraid to get dirty" attitude could lend itself to him being a parent who would let his kid go about and explore (with appropriate supervision and reasonable curfew of course) and overall have more faith in them to not get in too much trouble. Curfew to him is an agreed upon time between him and the teen, so about 10-11pm, maybe 12am if they're old enough and it's not a school night. He's far less likely to ground or take away privileges if they get into trouble (unless it's school but I'll get to that), usually turning it into a learning opportunity. Maybe restricting curfew if necessary.

Eddie on the other hand, has some worry wort tendencies and would be Terrified of his babies going out on their own, even if they're supervised by a friend's parent. His idea of a weekend curfew is 7-8pm and he needs a phone call or text every hour. or maybe every half hour. And when they do get into trouble he is the first to lecture them. He's more likely to want to ground or take privileges entirely, not just change curfew. Eddie's fine with after school stuff because knows a Teacher will be there and it's a school program/function. Though field trips and prom still make him a nervous wreck.

Frank hardly gets to lecture the kid(s) because Eddie gets to it first. the only time he does is when Eddie gets Too Upset or overwhelmed and Frank's worried he'll start yelling at them.

Though Frank's not without flaw either. Frank is more concerned with grades than Eddie is. He's more likely to pressure them By Accident and bring up college a lot when they're older. Eddie on the other hand never went to college, and knowing the American school system, he probably had more 'C's than 'A's despite how smart he really is. So Eddie is less concerned with perfect grades and believes if the kid doesn't want to go to college they shouldn't be pressured into it.

I won't go too in depth but I don't think Frank did many extracurriculars in high school. Meanwhile Eddie was getting into all sorts of activities. So when their child's grades have been slipping, Frank is the one to bring up taking them out of their extracurriculars "so they can focus on their grades." To which Eddie responds with a very firm No because he knows how much extracurriculars can mean to a kid.

Frank is also more strict with chores and such. Their room needs to be clean before they go anywhere, they make their bed every day, etc. Eddie is on board, but he understands Organized Chaos and that sometimes it takes a few extra minutes to get up and start a chore. (ADHD and Depression let's go babyy) Though he is stern about getting them done by a certain time (like before dinner). Frank would rather it be done sooner/when told.

In conclusion, Frank doesn't mean to pressure them so much, and Eddie doesn't mean to be so overbearing. They're great parents, but no one is perfect. I think they'd learn and grow overtime especially with each other to bounce off of and rely on. So in the end they turn out to be great parents whose kid(s) call and visit regularly when they're adults.

How would Morgott and Mohg each react to falling for a tarnished who uses music to soothe the nightmares of omens and to charm the wild creatures of the Lands Between into remaining passive around them?

This was a very fun request to work on! Thank you for sending it in! (Sorry it is so short)

Morgott would find himself taken back to a time when the lands were still peaceful, and the wind carried different melodies along with golden leaves of the Erdtree even far beneath the capital. But over the recent years of war, the music, much like the light of the tree had become dimmed.  Morgott would be very impressed with the Tarnished with an instrument and would often ask them to play a piece for him. Often, he will also join them as they practice, carefully seating himself in corner to no disturb them and listen to them play. (If the Tarnished does not feel disturbed by him of course)  

Their music fills them with much nostalgia. But at the same time, Morgott feels hopeful that someday more life will return to the Lands in Between. He finds solace in those quiet moments he shares with the Tarnished he will often begin to speak of the past, his early years, stories about Leyndell before the Shattering ... 

Morgott would be very encouraging of the Tarnished’s talent, even going as far as to search for old records about music in the capital's vast library. He would also be very impressed by their abilities to pacify wild animals and share stories about similar abilities he heard about before. Depending on the Tarnished’s role in his life Morgott might ask them to accompany a group of soldiers or pilgrims on their travels to assure a safe passage to them. 

Of course, if the Tarnished had time for him, Morgott would love nothing more than to hear them play a melody for him to sooth his worried mind. But he would not ask them for this out of his own volition. He wouldn’t want to take up more of their time than necessary. 

Mogh would be very fascinated by the effect the Tarnished’s music had on wild animals. Once they breach the topic with him, he will ask for a demonstration at once and lead them to a cliff side from where their music reaches down into the valley. To his astonishment, he would see how the wild crows that would often ravage the lands surrounding the Moghwyn’s Palace would suddenly become calmer. Their screeching would grow quiet, and they would begin to calmly pick for cadavers in the blood pools surrounding the ruins. 

Mogh would be very delighted by this strange ability his Tarnished companion has that he would completely forget himself for a moment. The dull throbbing in his head where his horn pierces his skin has lessened, and he feels somewhat calmer. Mogh however is completely absorbed thinking of all the different possibilities how the Tarnished’s ability could aid the dynasty. He would ask how they acquired this talent, whether it was something they came up with themselves or something that was taught to them by someone. He would tell them stories of similar abilities he had heard about. Travelers whose song would drive the listeners mad or winged women whose woeful melodies brought anyone to tears. 

Mogh would be very cautious about the effects the Tarnished music would have on him. He has lived with both the negative and positive traits of his omen heritage all his life and he has never felt ashamed or pained by them. Even if the Tarnished only means to help him and ease his nightmares. And besides, when he met the formless mother deep below the capital, she made him see the true potential that laid in his cursed blood. The Tarnished is of course welcome to play for him, if they wish to do so, but he does not require their ability to sooth his mind.

What are some ideas you have floating around that you don't have any plans on writing but like to entertain as a thought?

Many of them, in fact! Though they sort of vanish from my memory if I don't make a record of them, here's a few ones I jotted down when they came to mind.

For a domestic one: Bill thought he'd hate a lot of being married! Even though he loves Dipper, he thought he'd rebel against the chains of domesticity - and in some ways he still does - but one major benefit he's found is not having to be 'on' all the time.

No need to be perfectly performing all the time! No shoving around for social influence, no intimidation, or clever tricks. No commanding attention or taking up the room. Hell, there's surprisingly little upkeep! Bill can undo his tie and pick his nose and bitch about his day to someone who isn't bending over backwards to agree with him on everything. Someone who doesn't give him a weird look and sneer if he, god forbid, actually wants to sit down, read a book, drop the grin for an hour or two.

The concept in question is Bill's very first moment of great surprise. That when he isn't being the most charming, terrifying, and exciting guy in the universe, and just chilling out for like, five minutes, Dipper comes over and snuggles up to him on the couch, or wraps his arms around his shoulders and kisses the top of his head. And when Bill asks 'what was that for?', Dipper shrugs and goes 'eh, just felt like it'. It's both baffling and extremely compelling.

A short where Reincarnated Dip is Definitely Sure he's Not Gay!!! Especially not for this Hot Demon Man who is getting so close and touchy with him with his big smile and horrible wiles. Yep. Just keeping an eye on him to make sure he's not up to something Nefarious ™.

A discussion between Dipper and Bill where Dipper insists that Bill should understand this, or not do that, because, like. Y'know, Bill's a guy! There are guy things! Making Bill stare at Dipper like he's an idiot. He proceeds to informs Dipper how that's stupid for multiple reasons! First, that Bill's Not Human to begin with, his gender can't be put into a little box! And frankly, he never filled out the paperwork for his original one, come to think of it. Sure, he/him's fine, but c'mon, sapling, thinking of the whole shebang like a binary is dumb as hell. Now Dipper has to do some mental readjustment re: his own issues with masculinity/gender.

Being in Bill's presence for a full ten minutes #Without Bill flipping some internal switch to 'Impress or Intimidate'. This is Dipper's own little secret to watch and absorb and treasure #And. In a way. When Bill's not vibrating with potential energy for parties or violence he's even MORE handsome #He just HAS to kiss him. A little bit. On the cheek or on the top of the head. Maybe curl up next to him where it's warm and touch his ches #Bill spends hours afterward wondering where the hell that came from and WHY. And it'll take him *so much* time to figure it out

Hm, honestly, idk how to answer this. Because in the canons of both 2ha and svsss, to save Mo Ran and Luo Binghe is to save their respective worlds. Their worlds are doomed narratively because nobody was able to save them before, and Luo Binghe’s world is specifically tied to his continued existence as he is protagonist. On that note, on the surface this may seem like a compelling point given Chu Wanning going against the cultivation world to save Mo Ran vs. Shen Qingqiu choosing to self-destruct to save Luo Binghe at Magu Ridge, but it only works if you consider “the world” in 2ha to be the corrupt upper cultivation clans and their supporters or if you consider Shen Qingqiu’s actions in svsss to be divorced from primarily saving Luo Binghe (which they are decidedly not). Both Chu Wanning and Shen Qingqiu operate under the knowledge that they are not personally the last bastions that keep the world from crumbling, and they rely on that understanding to allow others to save the rest of the world while they focus on their loved one.

So canonically speaking, I don’t think they would ever be in a position to choose their loved one or the world, because to save their loved one is to save the world but to only save the world would just doom both. If hypothetically they were put in a situation where those two outcomes were not intrinsically linked by plot, they’d just depend on their other trusted companions to save the world while they focus on their loved one. They’d never knowingly leave the world in danger for one person; that just goes against their morality which is what the MLs love about them to begin with.

I think they're mid as FUCK in Island and obviously the way their break-up was handled in Action was. You know. Awful, and i wished Trent just had a fucking conversation with her instead of the whole 9 thing, but...

I love the idea of them as friendly exes, these two teens that did have feelings for eachother while they were both figuring themselves out and how their breakup was a result of a lack of communication (ideally on both parties) and teenage mistakes and that came from the stresses of Reality TV and retroactively not knowing what their feelings for the other were or the source exactly of their issues, and being able to confide or at least seek advice from someone who they once considered their romantic partner is just. Sweet, i guess.

Like especially post Action, Trent and Gwen are both in pretty unique positions with Trent being the lead guitarist in a popular Boy Band and Gwen being a content creator on a late 2000s early 2010s internet having Internet slap-fights with Heather, and both of them being considered big celebrities due to their roles on this super popular reality show in canon. I doubt they would have many people that they could trust in that way, while relating to their own struggles.

TLDR i like the idea of a friendship between two teens who are going through it™ but find solace in eachother and learning to communicate properly in their relationships, platonic or romantic.

Kevin is the slightly older mentor to Neil (the shiro to neil's keith) who is very traumatized by his time with a Bunch of Evil Shits and has gray hair and had his hand (arm) ruined by the enemy! He learns and grows and tries to make his team the best it can be. He never wants to stop until the ravens (galra) are defeated! He's scared bc he's far from home but he's brave as hell anyway! Braver than he should have to be, he's just in his 20s. PLEASE GIVE THIS MAN A BREAK (and also he's separated from his bf. ik kevjean isn't canon but let me make this connection anyway bc they're canon to me)

Neil is the hotheaded asshole who actually sorta wants to be friends with people but has the social skills of a raccoon who was shoved into a trash can and shaken around for, oh, ten years or so. He looks up to Kevin, wants to be like him, but knows he could NEVER fill his shoes! And he doesn't want to! He wants to help Kevin, not be Kevin. Nicky is the sweet, funny one who cares deeply about everyone and who gets the least consideration from the rest no matter how he tries? (the man willingly moved away from his family (ERIK) to take care of people who don't give a shit about him (supposedly), like lance who was taken from his family to fight to save the world? like... come on.) he's unapologetic about who he is and tries to get along with everyone, for the most part. but he has no problem biting back one someone starts smth. (ie. his beef with Seth and Allison) He is misunderstood, bc while he's outgoing and friendly he also has another side that's just straight-up Traumatized. Like... he's not all jokes. He's just hiding behind them.

Andrew is is strong and is largely a Protector. People misunderstand him because of things outside of his control, by this I mean Andrew is 'evil and crazy,' but it's because of the drugs that he's on bc he was fiercely protective of his cousin. He cares about his people and wants to protect them. (Like Hunk is rightly scared and Andrew acts apathetic, but they do care. That's the important part.) I'm not saying Andrew has a secret heart of gold and he's a Sweet Lil Cinnamon Roll or all the shit people used to say about Hunk (bc let's be honest, making the fat brown character into a uwu baby is rage inducing) but he cares. OH ALSO THEY BOTH HAVE A FEAR OF HEIGHTS!!!! (or hunk did at the beginning anyhow!) Also this is unrelated but I think Andrew would enjoy having a bayard. Aaron is green. (i was gonna leave it at that to be funny but that would be mean to aaron) So... Aaron is Andrew's everyone's annoying sibling who's actually really smart but also is a dumbass at the same time. He's got ulterior motives to be there. I think love is when your relationship with someone has some kind of meaning. Maybe it makes you happy. Maybe it wants you to keep living. Maybe it makes you feel like you have some kind of purpose. You just know that if something happened to that person, you would feel like your life has become incomplete. That's love to me.

Yurika: Your question is simple, so my answer will be the same. It's what I felt for my boss. S-she wasn't just a manager to me. She actually gave me a reason to live. She showed me that I still have worth even if I'm not that smart, not that hardworking and not that productive. She's not like my parents at all and those guys are rich, but still wanted me to work! H-huh?.. "Did you see your manager as your lover or your mother figure?".. Uh.. B-both?

Riku: Let me think.. Well, there's many different types of love, you know? I don't really know which one you want me to talk about.. Oh, so like, love in general? Um.. For some reason, it's still hard for me to think of an answer.. Maybe something like, even if you get sad or angry sometimes, they still understand you and still willing to listen to you? Like, they won't go "Come on, cheer up already!" Oh, also they respect your privacy and personal space, that one's important. Even if I love them, I don't want them to call me at 3 am and start telling me the tragic story of how their cat died when they were eight, thank you very much.. Y-yeah, that did happen to me once.

Reina: I don't know much about it, so I'm afraid my answer won't be that interesting. But maybe.. it's when someone still wants to be with you even if they've seen your worst qualities? No, I don't mean any of that "But I still find them beautiful" kind of stuff. That's actually kinda concerning. It's like, they won't leave you if they see you fighting with someone and yelling at them, but they also won't tell you that you were in the right for acting like that, if you really were in the wrong.

Eiji: It's when all sinners get what they deserve. They get the punishments that fit their sins and they have no choice but to accept it, meanwhile the innocent ones get to finally live a peaceful life. And before you ask me, no, nobody in this prison is innocent except me and Guard 002.

Miki: I'm not really as passionate about it as Eiji-san, but.. I think it's when people who did something bad without any reason and don't feel any remorse get.. I-I don't want to say "punished", but.. Basically, they're not able to do anything to the innocent people anymore. I want to believe that everyone in this prison is innocent and everyone had their own reasons and if it wasn't for those reasons, they would never kill anyone.. But I'm not so sure anymore. So if someone in this prison really is guilty.. I guess I'll have to make sure they don't hurt the innocent.

Hiyuu: I think it's when all people are treated as equals. Even if someone is guilty, I won't treat them like a villain. I will punish them, because that's my job as a guard, but it doesn't mean I genuinely want their life to get worse and it doesn't mean I want them to die. I just want them to see what will happen if they continue to act this way. Pain is the worst thing that could ever happen to anyone, so I believe that even if that someone really did something bad, they should be treated with respect if they're in pain. So you can trust me, my punishments won't be that bad, haha.
