pardon me i'm just overwhelmed by wang yibo (as usual)
It's just, this kid, THIS KID, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND LET ME EXPLAIN
— he has to battle his way up through the ranks of YG to get to debut, in another country, away from his parents, while barely a teenager, all while learning a second language, and he not only does it, but according to legend he and Lisa are the only two foreign idols in YG history to graduate the program with all As
— and then his debut gets canceled and he has to go back to China and Yuehua and restart his entire career without much support at all from his agency, and he just does it, he starts the grind all over and just fucking does it
— he isn't even Yuehua's first choice for Day Day Up's new host competition, and they submit him only because he speaks Korean and that's good for the show, but then Wang Han sees him backstage one day and sees how hard he's working on his dance routine and immediately knows that Yibo is their next host, and not only is he an incredible addition to the show, but he stays on DDU longer than he reasonably should given how massively famous he gets, and he's so beloved that when he returns for Hunan's 2022 NYE concert, the network rolls out the red carpet and treats him like he's their hometown son and Wang Han is like, "Our Yibo has come home" (And Luoyang is the girlfriend in the distracted boyfriend meme lol but ykwim)
— he has to submit his comp shots twice just to even get an audition before anyone takes him seriously for The Untamed!! Except then the moment they see him, they immediately know he's their Lan Zhan
— he's the "pretty idol" throwaway captain for SDC3 and you can tell this when you watch the editing for the first episode because the comments for Yibo are all about how hot he is, and he comes in last place after the first captain's dance, and it's clear nobody really takes him seriously, but then the second he opens his street auditions, the tone of the entire show changes and from then on, for the next two seasons, he is completely unstoppable, his talent and intelligence and strategic thinking and competitive drive are so raw and exciting to watch that he basically takes over the entire show, the ratings more than double from s2 to s3, his fandom grows even more massive, and the dancers all fucking LOVE HIM. like dude he wins street dance of china so hard that within three seasons he's basically co-producing it and he's literally given a writing credit.
— The director of Being a Hero doesn't think he's old or mature enough to play Chen Yu and then Yibo sits down and talks to him about why he wants the role and the director realizes that Yibo basically is Chen Yu, he's the focused hard-working persevering single-minded actor of his dreams, and Yibo winds up giving a performance so moving it makes the director cry and declare, "That? That's acting."
— he jumps from no ranking at all to 9th place to #2!!!!!! within TWO YEARS on the Forbes China 100 Most Powerful people list between 2019 and 2021
— Duhua famously didn't take him seriously or treat him well for most of their long contractual relationship, oh shit, because now according to YH's latest investor report for Q3-4 2022, he singlehandedly brings in 90% of the profit for her entire company, a shareholder, the "top talent," and the one who has to pay whenever Uniq gets together because he's "the boss"
— Yibo goes from being the SDC underdog to being so respected that when Da Peng is looking for a dancer to star in his street dance movie, he asks all the best street dancers what actor is capable of doing the moves, and they all unanimously tell him: Wang Yibo. Da Peng winds up telling the press on Weibo Film night 2022 that he wrote the whole movie for Yibo, and that "if there's no Yibo, there's no movie"
— Cheng Er, director of Wuming, claims he has no idea who Yibo is, and just decided to cast him in a supporting role in his film because he looks the part of a Republic-era spy. And then he sees Yibo act, and he sees Yibo immerse himself in the part, and he sees how hard Yibo is willing to work and how committed he is, and he rewrites his entire movie until Wang Yibo is the main fucking character; Wang Yibo, in his first major film debut, acts his way into the lead and earns rave reviews from across the globe, including the goddamn new york times
Every time you think people will have finally figured out that you do not underestimate Wang Yibo, you learn of some new example where Yibo, once again, has had to prove himself in an industry that perpetually writes him off and doesn't take him seriously at first — only for the people around him to be absolutely blown away by his talent and dedication and mesmerizing star power.
And this happens over and over and over again. And he just does the work, always, every time, without complaint, and every time the result is something surprising and unexpected and fantastic and such a mark of his incredible passion and talent
— and every time I think my heart can't possibly grow any more sizes over Yibo, he proves me wrong

Boss Christian Yu x Writer Reader - angst, old feelings, exes, new love vs old love, drama(?)
Tumblr media
After slamming your laptop shut for the umpteenth time, you groaned in irritation and took the last sip of your wine.
Your dream job was to write articles for a magazine, specifically inspiring stories about everyday life situations. You disliked writing about new cafes and hotspots to visit in Seoul, South Korea on a hot summer day. Your boss, Christian Yu, was someone you despised.
You let out a sigh as you leaned back on your couch, feeling exhausted from working for long hours and staring at a bright screen. Despite the fatigue, you were able to enjoy the peacefulness of your apartment which was quietly enveloped by the sound of light rain tapping against the tall windows that offered a view of the brightly lit city at night. The cityscape was a sight to behold, with buildings and cars stretching out as far as the eye could see, and you found it captivating.
It felt surreal.
You struggled with the idea of writing this article for a while, but now, as it is almost 3 am, you just want to finish it and move on, without having to worry about it anymore.
You worked tirelessly on your article all night, only the clicking of your keyboard keeping you company. As the sky began to lighten just before 5 am, you finally completed your 12th and hopefully final draft. After sending it to your boss, you collapsed into your bed, exhausted.
—>
“Wow, you look like shit.”
“Shut up, Dabin,” you scowled while you pointed a pen at him, almost as if threatening to hurt him if he said another word. “I was up late working on an article.”
“Again?”
As you nodded your head, a yawn escaped your lips, but Dabin didn't seem too impressed. He was aware of your writing skills, and he knew that Ian, his best friend, also recognized your talent. Despite this, Ian never allowed you to demonstrate your best writing abilities.
It annoyed him.
“Do you want me to speak to...“
“No,” you cut him off knowing exactly what he was going to ask. It was his favourite question. “It’s fine.”
Dabin suspiciously leaned over you, face a lot closer than you were comfortable with, and stared into your eyes as if they had a different answer to the one you’d given him.
It made you laugh.
“I’m fine, don’t worry,” you genuinely smiled as you pushed his face away from yours.
The two of you discussed where to go for lunch and what you were in the mood for, which varied daily.
“Y/N, can I see you in my office?”
The sudden voice behind you caused you to drop the smile on your face. You quickly locked eyes with Dabin before shifting to see your boss standing behind you.
Ian didn't give you time to respond to his question since he was already on his way back to his office. His strides were long and swift as you hurriedly followed behind.
A sigh escaped your lips as you thought about all the terrible things he might say about the draft you sent just a few hours ago.
Christian's office exuded a sense of sophistication and elegance with its predominantly black theme. The black furniture and décor complemented the black walls, creating a sleek and modern atmosphere. The aesthetic aligned perfectly with Christian's personal style, which is characterized by his sharp black suits, crisp white shirts, and multiple decorated tattoos. Overall, the office was a reflection of Christian's impeccable taste and attention to detail.
There’s no denying that he was a handsome man.
“Do you enjoy working here?”
His voice was firm and almost intimidating, but it was nothing that you weren't accustomed to.
“Ye—“
“Answer me honestly,” he interrupted.
An exasperated sigh escaped your lips as he once again failed to listen.
It was annoying.
You gazed out of the window, avoiding eye contact as the rain poured heavily over the city. It was ironic that you had just written an article on what to do on a hot summer day.
“Y/N—“
"Ian," you sighed, interrupting him as he had interrupted you earlier. "I don't hate working here, and I want you to know that. I genuinely enjoy the people and the work that I do. But it feels like you never give me a fair chance to show you how good I am, or how much I love being here."
As you stood up, your eyes met Christian's dark and mysterious ones. You never really understood him, as he always kept his distance. Even when you were dating, he never let you get too close.
His eyes reminded you of the heartbreak you felt when he told you he needed to focus on work and being a boss. There was no sadness or remorse in his expression. He was emotionless.
You subconsciously took a step back as he took one towards you, both caught off guard. You were afraid of falling for him again, especially after the pain he had caused you.
“I think maybe I should find another company to write for.”
“No.”
“Ian—“
“Y/N,” his voice was stern. Cold. “I said no.”
A deep chuckle reverberated in his office. You stepped back and crossed your arms, "It's not up to you. I can do what I want."
He knew you were right, but he didn't want you to leave. He had already given you up once.
Here's a clearer version of the text:
"Will you stay if I let you write your own story?" he asked, trying to offer a bribe.
"Why?" you questioned him, catching him off guard. He had hoped that you would just say yes and leave it at that.
There was an uncomfortable silence as he stood his ground, looking at you intently, but he didn't offer an explanation.
He was being stubborn.
After a while, you looked away from him and said, "I'll stay. See you around, Mr. Yu."
Christian watched as you left his office. He let you walk away.
Again.
—>
It was another late night in the office. Ian had finally given you the green light to write your own story - something exciting, new, and inspiring. However, you were struggling to come up with an idea. You didn't have any unique experiences to discuss, except for your own heartache and the pain you had gone through, along with the emotions you had felt.
It had been more than a year since Ian had broken up with you. Now, you were in a much better place emotionally, and seeing him around the office didn't hurt as much as it did when the wound was still fresh.
Your experience of getting over a breakup could serve as a source of inspiration for many individuals out there who may be going through the same thing. You could write about how you coped with the situation and be honest in your narrative. The idea is to make your readers relate to you and feel that they are not alone in the world and that going through a breakup is a common experience that everyone faces at least once in their lifetime.
As you were lost in thought, a voice interrupted you, asking "How are you getting on?"
You glanced up to see Dabin holding a box of fried chicken and a pack of four beers. You couldn't help but smile as your stomach growled in hunger. You were grateful for your best friend's arrival.
"Thank god for you," you exclaimed, feeling much better now. "I'm starving."
The two of you were quick to get settled into the couches in the staff room; away from computers and cubicles and depressing grey walls.
"This is delicious," you moaned as you took another bite.
Dabin laughed in return, "I'm glad I can help during times like this."
Dabin was a really good friend.
"So, how's your writing coming along?" He asked.
"Fine."
Nodding his head, he asked, "what's it about?"
You took a sip of your drink before turning to face Dabin. It was obvious what he was doing.
"You can let Ian know the article's content will be revealed in my final draft, okay?"
"How did you know I was asking for him?"
You lay back on the couch, sighing as your eyes stared at the plain white ceiling. Dabin followed suit, resting his shoulder neatly against yours.
It was quiet.
There was nobody else in the building except for the two of you. Normally, nobody stayed back late. However, you enjoyed staying late because of the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The lights would turn off automatically on a timer, leaving you with a breath-taking view of Seoul from above.
Being on the top floor definitely had its perks.
"He didn't want to end things with you, but he had no choice. He misses you," Dabin finally spoke.
You avoided eye contact and stated, "Everyone has a choice."
You were in a three-year relationship with Ian before he broke up with you. As time went on, your love for him grew stronger and you were convinced that he was the one.
But no.
On a frigid winter night, he arrived at your doorstep and broke up with you. Declaring that his work was his priority and that he wanted to become a boss his father could be proud of.
So, he married his job instead.
It was a horrible experience that left you feeling utterly shattered. A heavy weight seemed to sit on your chest, and no matter what you did, you couldn't shake off the feeling. You cried yourself to sleep that night, and dealing with the aftermath was so difficult that you had to take a month off work. Seeing him again was too much to bear after feeling so broken.
"I thought he was the one, Dabin," you expressed. "But after he broke up with me, I realized that I didn't really know him. He never let me get close to him, and he never opened up to me. I was blindly in love."
Dabin looked at you with sad eyes; it was the first time you had openly talked about your breakup.
->
Saturdays were your favourite day of the week. You could sleep in as long as your stomach allowed before getting too hungry. You didn't have anything on your to-do list. It was a day just for you to relax, unwind, and not think about anything or anyone for that matter.
However, on this particular Saturday, instead of being awakened by hunger, you were awakened by the doorbell.
You were confused as to who was turning up at your apartment this early on a Saturday. You quickly got out of bed, grabbed your slippers and dressing gown and headed to the door.
You didn't think to look through the peephole before opening the door.
"Hey."
His voice was deep.
"What are you doing here?" You blurted out before thinking.
Ian.
He ran his hand through his hair.
Then sighed. Deeply.
"Can we talk?"
You stared at him, completely gobsmacked. What the hell was he doing here?
"Ian, please go home," you declared, your voice quavering. "I don't want to talk to you right now."
He didn't allow you to close the door as he barged in and let it slam shut behind him.
"Please," he begged.
You witnessed an unusual display of emotion in his gaze, something completely foreign to you in all the time you'd known him.
This was new, and you were in shock. It was so unlike him to do this.
"There's nothing to talk about," you declared, finally breaking the silence.
Ian sighed again, except this time, he sounded annoyed, "just give me five minutes of your time. Please."
Upon not wanting to argue, you silently nodded and sat on your couch, wondering what he wanted to discuss.
"Dabin spoke to me," he began. "He told me about how I made you feel."
"Okay? And?"
"Do you hate me?"
You scoffed. Was he serious? This is what he wanted to ask you?
"No, Ian. I don't hate you," you said honestly. "But I don't like you either."
He rolled his eyes, and you smiled smugly.
"Ian, please get to the point," you stated, your annoyance palpable. He was ruining your favourite day of the week.
"If I proposed, would you have married me?" Ian asked as he sat next to you on the couch.
The shock in your eyes didn't go unnoticed.
You let out a nervous chuckle and moved away from him. He was sitting too close to you, which made you feel uneasy. It had been a year since the two of you had been this close to each other, and you didn't like it.
"Ian, we're not a good match-"
"But would you have said yes?"
As you felt your heart beating harder against your chest, you began to feel nauseous and the sensation of wanting to throw up arose.
Why was he asking you this all of a sudden?
"Y/N, would you have said-"
"Shut up!" you snapped, taking a few steps back as you stood up. "You always have to have your own way, win arguments- even need to get the last word in. God forbid anyone says anything to you."
You were pacing the room, but he was listening for once.
He was actually listening.
"We were together for three years, I loved you unconditionally and fell more in love with you every day. It wasn't until you broke up with me that I realised I'd been dating a fucking rock."
"Y/N, I'm so sorry" he apologised as he stood up.
"Save it," you sighed.
His eyes searched yours, seeking answers, searching for any sign of love.
"I would have said yes. Of course, I would've" you told him honestly. His lips curved into a smile, but faltered when you added, "but not now."
He didn't say anything except, 'sorry' before leaving, making sure to slam the door shut behind him. Except this time, he was the one who was walking away and you were the one who let him.
That night you decided to quit your job, there was no way that it was healthy for either of you to go on like this.
He didn't question it this time or stop you, he didn't even look at you. Your words had hurt him just like he'd hurt you. This wasn't what you wanted, but realistically what else could you do?
It just wasn't written in pages for you two to be together.
And maybe, that was okay.
->
A/N Pls go easy on me with this, its my first time writing since being on my long ass hiatus, but I hope you still enjoyed <3 xoxo

It feels like in Campaign 3 they've done Guests very differently than the other two? In the other campaigns they did tight smaller personal arcs for the guest that could be finished in 1-3 episodes and then the guest quickly left. If they were called back later it was specifically to help the Main Party's storyline in some way with a quick life update of what's been going on off screen.
Every guest this season has had a minimum of five episodes, longer than Bertrand Bell himself. They've built a real or at least complex connection with most of the party, and then left with their plotline pretty much demanding they return to get closure at some point. With the exception of the dead one of course.
Dorian is a full member of Bells Hells and the Crown Keepers. He still has multiple plot crumbs with his Parents, his Title and responsibilities, his Brother, and of course reuniting with Orym and Fearne (and the rest of the party) at some point.
Yu made a time limited contract with the party. Then the Hells failed their part of the agreement when Ira stole the Crown from them and for extra oomph they snuck into Yu's court, blew shit up there, and were explicitly seen by Yu's boss as they escaped. Yu has the plotline crumbs of still being aligned with the people the Hells are fighting, still maybe having a contract to hunt down Fearne's parents and Fearne, and also the potential that they are being punished for failing in the first place.
Deni$e is going to catch up with the Crown Keepers at some point and give Dariax a piece of her mind. Whether we get more Crown Keeper's specials with her or we just get the updates some other way, her storyline isn't finished yet.
F.R.I.D.A. is basically a member of the Bells Hells now. They're going on a sidequest for the party's needs and have promised to help them in their fight. They still have connections to the looming Devexian plotline as well. Very important person to F.C.G. and the idea they'd never see each other again is unacceptable.
Deanna is also like Dorian and F.R.I.D.A. in that she's basically a member of the party now. She has a strong emotional bond with the four she traveled with. (And her potential conversations with the other three would be very interesting if she had the time to dig deeper.) She's doing what she can to help the Hells stop Ludinus. Out of all the clerics this campaign her relationship with her deity seems the most complicated and interesting? She still has the plotlines of however her sidequest turns out, whether or not she and the Dawnfather will come to an understanding or if she'll be punished further, and of course her connection with Chetney and Fearne will always be fun to explore more of.
Pri$m. Bonded with Orym, Laudna, and Ashton. Orym is her bestie now. Ashton seems to have set her on a new rebellious path in life. She also wants to take Laudna to the Shadowfel soon. Alongside Deanna and F.R.I.D.A she is now doing quests to help the Hells. Biggest of all, with Keyleth and Planerider Ryn both out of commission, Prism is the person closest to the party who knows teleport if the staff breaks or isn't powered up. The table always calls on their teleportation buddies when possible.
It's a different approach to guest party members? I feel like we're either at or nearing the second half of the campaign soon. So I'm curious how, when, and in what order we'll start to see these plotlines and connections tied up.

I just want anyone who still follows me to know: I love non-con. I will always love non-con. It's saved my life when I was younger writing Karasu fanfics, been my deepest, dearest coping mechanism, is the only thing that always calms me down and helps my own trauma and diagnosed PTSD.
I'm not going to give up non-con for anything or anyone. There's so many medical studies showing that engaging with this content in fiction and creativity is helpful for survivors' healing.
If you don't like non-con, if in the years since you followed me when I used to be the Yu Yu Hakusho's fandom's source for random Karasu shit you've been converted to antism, please unfollow me. I don't want that toxicity around me or in my life. I had to read an anti's nasty messages about me seconds after I'd been raped a few months ago. It largely contributed to a suicide attempt shortly after.
I hate that fandom has become something where everything you write and say is so clearly scrutinized. Y'all need to learn to relax, and separate fiction from reality. I know that post has been going around saying ~but what about the fact that art is influenced by the real world so there's not-good things happening in fanfics and some fans do this and that and blah blah blah.~ My response? Unless you plan to pay someone for being in fandom, leave them the fuck alone. People are in fandom as a hobby, to relax, to chill, to calm down. If they want to write something crazy, let 'em.
My God, when did participating in fandom become an unpaid internship for all of you? Antis ain't your bosses and if they don't like what you or I do, fuck 'em. I'm in fandom to chill. There's enough horrors in the real world, let's stop worrying about random fanfiction.
The Israelis are committing a genocide against the Palestinians, the Russians are committing a genocide against the Ukrainians, and the Chinese are committing a genocide against the largest indigenous people in the world, the Uyghur. Plus other areas of concern around the world. There's widespread poverty and homelessness, charities and NGOs in your neighborhood and around the world you could help in, there's things to focus on and worry about that are real. I don't have the energy for putting fanworks through literary criticism. Most of you are terrible at it, in the first place, and in the second place, you didn't pay for it, they provided it for free and worked on it with love with no compensation as a hobby. Since writers are human beings, they're gonna make mistakes. Since antis are human beings, they're going to assume things are mistakes that aren't.
You don't change a single person's mind with a nasty comment. There's scientific studies proving that being nasty or combative language makes people entrench in their beliefs and believe them more strongly.
Anyway, my own tone has been pretty combative, but this is my general message: if you're an anti, block me, unfollow me, leave me alone. After reading suicide baits walking out of a mental hospital suicidal about a fanfic I wrote at fifteen that quite literally saved my life in that horrific period of abuse and attempted murder and CSA and all the things I was facing at that age, after reading attacks moments after my own rape, as if I was an abuser, instead of a victim, after seeing friends doxxed, harassed, SWATed, sent death threats and rape threats, and mailed aborted fetuses in the US mail, I'm so completely over the whole movement and what it stands for. It never had a good point to make in the first place, and it's ruined so many lives for nothing - over fanfiction!
Antis, GTFO. Fetishization of rape is a fake-ass problem. Come back to me when you have a competent definition of fetishization that accounts for the fact that almost everyone I know who writes non-con is a survivor, like me. You say these words over and over - go farther. Define them. Really figure out who's being automatically hurt when someone writes a fanfic with proper warnings that you had to ignore the warnings and click to read or see. If you can't define your terms, you can't make a cogent case why writing about rape is hurting an actual human being instead of some ideal you've built up in your head. You're claiming it hurts survivors while ignoring and delegitimizing that it's a common coping mechanism for /many/ survivors like me. By doing so, you're deciding which survivors are important enough to be protected and listened to and which are not, something that is absolutely atrocious to do.
One survivor is not more important than any other. Being sex averse after abuse doesn't mean you can slut shame and harass survivors who still have healthy sex lives and libidos. You being one way doesn't mean everyone has to be. If you don't like non-con, I suggest you block common tags for content warnings, and don't read fanfic that has warnings it contains it.
And I also ask you to unfollow me. Have a nice day.

Park Gi-Dong is the secret MVP
he doesn't get enough love (and i scoured a lot of platforms for this show...)
i absolutely love his character, find him incredibly delightful and am sure that he and hong-jo would be besties if they just got to know each other properly. also, he's super observant and quick to catch on.
i love that he just doesn't give a shit and has no filter, whether it concerns work or his bosses personal (love) life, yet somehow he never seems to be overbearing or overstepping (too much).
i loved him telling jae-gyeong that he missed a catch with hong-jo.
i burst out laughing in the subway during the scene with shin-yu when the latter explodes at gi-dong for telling jae-gyeong to date hong-jo.
his no-knocking coupon will lead to incriminating situations down the line, i'm sure.
i lol'ed so hard when he started moving so slowly and deliberately when shin-yu asked about drunken behaviour, like he didn't want to startle shin-yu into shutting up.
i loved that he was touched he got flowers from shin-yu.
and i loved it even more when he told shin-yu to stop isolating and distancing himself.
i like his character so much that i even caught the small beat where they were both working a late night but park gi-dong fell asleep and shin-yu didn't wake him up. i think shin-yu appreciates park gi-dong (and his antics) too.
i'll admit i didn't know what to think of him after his introduction scene and thought his character would be portrayed as being jealous of shin-yu, but i'm so glad that it went the complete opposite direction.

My weekly roundup CW 15
Well, I watch a lot during the week, as you all might know. I really want to write a little bit more about the stuff I watch, but time and work kind of get in my creative way. So I try to write down my thoughts after watching stuff to create a little weekly ranking in relation to the previous week on my, most of the times, quiet sundays (and because I love lists and this is a good excuse for me to create a new OneNote journal!).
The Promise is on hiatus, so it didn't make it on this week's list.
↑ 1. The Eighth Sense (Ep 5+6)
I love it. This series is so brilliantly good. What I especially like are those little gestures, like how excited JaeWon was when he called JiHyun and how he smiled when he told his therapist about him. The entire beach scene made me melt. What a wonderful love scene! Very aesthetically pleasing and realistic, because you can have fun with something like this and explore the other in a playful way, not everything has to be oversexualized. The series really does so much right here! The end of the episode on the other hand…I have read quite a few analyses about the next episodes and I guess we will suffer together with Jaewon, who will fall back into his old pattern and his old life to not cause more harm to the one he cares for the most and in the end harming himself, because he can't live the life he desperately wants; and we will suffer with Jihyun, who is in love and understands that Jaewon has some baggage, but is left alone in the end and is hurting and that will make my heart hurt very much and thinking about all this makes me tear up...
→ 2. Unintentional Love Story (Ep 9 +10/Final)
One of the best encounters with an ex took place this week. And Wonyoung kicked that guy's ass! In general, he has grown a lot over the episodes and has undergone a good character development. He has gained more confidence and seems more mature than he did at the beginning. I also found the phone call between Wonyoung and Taejoon a good solution to make Taejoon realize that it's not just Wonyoung who did something wrong and that the past can definitely get in the way. All the nicer that they end up watching the sunset together. I liked the series a lot.
☼ 3. Our Dining Table (Ep 2)
Yes, this won't be the most dramatic thing we're currently seeing, but that's just fine. It is a pleasant and calm balance in this rather hectic series environment. Everywhere they try to lure you in with more action, more suspense and drama, more trauma or more sex and here we have a young man overcoming his eating disorder and finding a family with the help of two brothers. It's nice and quiet and doesn't hurt anyone. I'm really looking forward to the next episode and can't wait to see what they will cook next and where their conversations will take them.
↑ 4. Chains Of Heart (Ep 9)
Okay, we now have a psychic on board who can see people's past by touching them…Nothing really surprises me anymore! But seriously, what an episode! Finally we have Mr. Lue/Din and Ken together! Even though Ken seems to be in denial that Mr. Lue is Din? I think he knows, but can't stand the thought of Din lying to him all this time. So Mr. Lue is supposed to make him forget what he knows and wow, he does! These two were really starving for both affection and passion. What else happened? The scene also made me forget what happened next. Hin is the older brother of Din…Wouldn't have thought that, I thought he is the younger one. And then he is also the brain-cell of the whole episode! I am very impressed, he seemed more like the simple-minded shadow of Yu. All in all, once again a very good episode.
↑ 5. A Boss And A Babe (Ep 7)
So Gun is just the best in this series.
Tumblr media
How he came into Cher's room after the shower and just doesn't give a shit what others think and says goodbye with "I'll wait in bed." And Cher's friends…they already know something since the BBQ, but they happily ignore it away. That's another way of dealing with it. Some say that not much happens and the show has no real plot. Does something outstanding always have to happen? Aren't everyday problems and how to deal with them sometimes enough? Like the problems with the foster brother or overcoming a first love and discovering a new, different love. I really liked walking with Cher through his life this week.
☼ 6. Naked Dining (Ep 1)
What do you do when you want to relieve stress? I craft or watch series or listen to loud music. Our protagonist eats…naked. And feels free. Honestly, if it helps? Who am I to judge? He finds a letter in the mail from his grandmother, who has already passed away. She wrote the letter six months ago and put it into a program that sends mail at a chosen time. He visits the house to clean it up and relax a bit from the stressful world of work. There he meets Miki Mahiro, who has taken the grandmother on a culinary journey to discover the world in this way. And as fate would have it, he discovers that our protagonist likes to be naked while eating. The scene was hilarious!
↓ 7. Bed Friend (Ep 9)
I'm only watching now because it'll be over soon. The series started really strong, but somehow it lost me. The positive thing about this episode was that for once there was no drama and Uea could take a breath (okay, except maybe at the very beginning, but that's positive drama when the former abuser is arrested and the abusive mother is done with the world). And finally Uea came around and accepted King as his boyfriend. It was getting a bit exhausting to see King begging and at the end I was just confused what their status is now. The introduction to King's parents I found really charming, between door and hinge. So not the hit for me this week.
☼ 8. My Story (Ep 1)
There's so much going on that I've lost track of everything. But one guy is a cook and goes to Thailand to earn money and meets the future love of his life there. And another one takes in a young man in his dormitory, which the dean finds totally fine, also that they have to share the bed together and that's why he just gets put up there from school and you can already tell in episode one that the two of them are going to be exciting. They have definitely stolen the show for me.
→ 9. Tin Tem Jai (Ep 7)
Now why the hell did Park have this change of heart? It feels like yesterday he wanted to do everything to convince Tin that he doesn't like him and will never marry him, and suddenly they're sitting in the living room and he confesses to him, in the creepiest way possible, that he tried to think of him as just a brother, but the older Tin got, the prettier he got…What masterful mind-brain came up with this dialogue? And those random jumps in time and space, and why didn't Tin and Park talk to each other? And Park really only has three emotions…annoyed, tired or neutral…Nothing else comes across…I can't really feel his affection for Tin either. Anyway…Three more episodes and if this doesn't end with the wedding of the two, I'll throw hands.
→ 10. PastSenger (Ep 6)
Okay, they like each other. Everybody likes each other. I just can't see the chemistry between Plawan and Moodaeng. For me, there's nothing there and it feels a little too rushed how Plawan got over his crush on Bamee. Then Kiev and Bamee…just talk to each other! But no, argue. And by the way it's totally normal when your friends want to interfere in your life or at least worry! What kind of friends are they who just let him work in this place? I would have taken him in and looked for something more suitable…And Franc is suddenly not so bad after all and makes her laugh? Very fast and confusing changes that happened this week. And I'm not talking about the kisses…Except maybe you shouldn't have held the camera on them quite so long…Had to look away briefly at the drunken mouth on mouth placement…

MIDNIGHT : Chapter 2
Jang Sang-Eun
I opened my laptop typing agressively ways to survive an attack. I read about a few things here and there and then the famous killing appeared on my laptop as a trending site. I opened the site and it took me to the news page about the murder happenings. I checked below all the pictures of the victims and they all were in their 20's. 19 people killed by now and the police wasn't doing anything?. I was scared because at times I would also have to walk alone after my night shift. It was a threat to people like us who are in their 20's.
"What are you looking at?"
"Oh Hyolin don't scare me that way."
I saw Dami and Inha laugh, followed by Mihi and Ayong.
Well they are my friends. Only loyal friends. I remember the day I transferred here and they were already liking me. We all grew quiet close and now it's unbreakable. I was the youngest followed by Mihi who was Dami's sister. Mihi and me were 28. While Ayong, Inha and Hyolin were in their 30's.
HYOLIN: are you still not over the murder ?
SANG-EUN: it's almost turning uncountable.
DAMI: I know I heard that too. 19 or more I feel scared to even sign up for the night shift. I wonder what boss must be thinking.
Everything at the moment shit down when we saw a bunch of men with their luggage enter.
SANG-EUN: welcome to "Starlight" how many I help you?
The man rummaged something from his backpack and pulled out 3 passports and some documents.
"I made a reservation here for a 7 day and 6 night stay. These are the documents."
SANG-EUN: sure sir give me a minute. I'll let you know soon.
I scrolled to the reservation section on the hotel's PC and searched for his name : Moon Yu-jun , Kwak Su-Bin and Joo Il.
SANG-EUN: Yes sir. Reservation done. I'll allot the room numbers for you.
??: could we get a room together? Like 3 people in one ?
SANG-EUN: of course sir. Just give me a few minutes to analyse it.
I waited for the reservation to load out and I alloted him the room. 809.
SANG-EUN: 809 sir I'll send a room service for custom services sir. Thank you and enjoy.
I signalled Dami to help them out and she quickly walked over. I smiled gracefully and looked back at Iseul, seemed like she liked one of those.
SANG-EUN: So?! Our Inha eonnie has a crush I see.
Hearing me the other 2 laughed out teasing Inha making her go pink.

Persona 4 Golden Review (Spoilers)
So I promised my friend who got me into Persona (even if he did warn me beforehand) that after I finished Persona 4, I would write an in-depth review of it, and since I stick by my promises, here it is! I’ll separate this into categories, where I talk about the gameplay, graphics, music, characters, and plot of the game before giving my final thoughts about it. So with that out of the way, let’s do this!
Gameplay:
To start this review off positively, I’ll go over the best part of this game. I love the way this game plays and how it handled the battles in it. The battle system is so fucking good and it makes them feel very engaging. I love the whole elemental system that makes up battles as it allows for a lot of strategy for how you’re going to take down certain enemies and how you can defend yourself against said enemies. It’s also always satisfying to knock them down and follow it up with an all out attack. I also love how the social links of your party members affects how they perform in battles as well, which adds more strategy to that as well. Overall, the gameplay is really what made this game so good to me, because IT’S JUST SO PEAK!
Music:
This game’s soundtrack is really fucking good. Even people who hate Persona (reasonable) can admit that the soundtrack goes hard and has them BOISTEROUS TUNES. Some of my personal favourite tracks include:
-Reach Out To The Truth
-Backside Of The TV
-Deduction
-Sauna
-Heartbeat, Heartbreak
-Game
-A New World Fool
-The Fog
-Secret Base
-Heaven
-Long Way
-Corridor
-The Almighty
-The Genesis
-Electronica of the Soul
-Time to Make History
However, I will say that the normal boss theme is pretty mid when compared to the other tracks in the game, but it’s still alright. So basically, WE MAKING IT OUT IF INABA WITH THIS ONE!!!!!
Graphics:
I don’t give a shit about graphics in video games because I’m not a fucking loser, but I will say that this game looks pretty fire. The 3D model’s movements can feel a little janky at times but they’re alright. I mainly really like the sprites in this game, even if I do think that they could’ve be a little more expressive, because it’s a little jarring when a character is crying and their sprite is just “:(“. Either way, this isn’t really that important, but I just wanted to mention it. Adachi’s sprites are also all so peak by the way. He brings that adachilicious swagger wherever he goes.
Characters:
Yu:
Yu, or Reigen Arataka as I named him in my playthrough, is the protagonist of the game and your typical self-insert MC for the “immersive experience” that game developers love to do for some reason despite how fucking stupid it is and how I would prefer if the protagonist was an actual character with an actual personality. Granted, I did hear that he does have a personality in the anime, but I never watched it, so I really only have the game to base it off of. I don’t have anything to say about him because the game doesn’t give him anything to say, so yeah. He’s just your typical self-insert in the game.
Yosuke:
Where the fuck do I begin?! Alright, look, for the first couple of hours of the game, Yosuke is a great character. He’s just this chill bro who you would play Fortnite with, and even if he was a little down bad sometimes, he wasn’t like that too often and it was just him being a goofball. However, around the Steamy Bathhouse dungeon, all of that changes as Yosuke comes out of the closet as…HOMOPHOBIC! Turns out your bro would probably call you slurs during Jackbox vc sessions on Discord which fucking sucks. Even after that section, Yosuke is really homophobic towards Kanji which is NOT funny at all and makes me want to BANISH HIM to the DEPTH of IKEA! However, you don’t need to worry, BECAUSE IT GETS EVEN WORSE! You know when I said that Yosuke was down bad, well as the game progresses, that becomes more and more evident to the point where him being a pervert is just his main personality. Granted, it’s not as bad as a certain character that I’ll get to later, but it’s still really fucking obnoxious how painfully heterosexual he is. If bro was a Danganronpa fan, he would ship KaiMaki. If bro was a Puyo Puyo fan, he would ship SigAmi. If bro was an Angry Birds fan, he would love the second movie. You see what I’m getting at here? However, Yosuke DOES get bullied throughout the game, so that does slightly make up for how annoying he is, but he still sucks in the end. I also genuinely can’t believe that people actually ship him with the protagonist because Yosuke does not deserve an ounce of happiness in his absolutely pathetic life. Overall, Yosuke is a really annoying and unlikable character that fools you into thinking that he’d be your lovable goofball sidekick. Fuck Yosuke! All my homies hate Yosuke!
Chie:
On a more positive note, I really like Chie. Her personality balances out her whimsical silliness as well as her desire to roundhouse kick the shit out of people which makes for a very engaging and fun character that balances off the next character I will talk about very well. Absolute girlboss! She also beefs with Yosuke a lot which gives her extra points because FUCK YOSUKE! I don’t really have much to say about Chie since I got nothing to complain about or anything important that needs to be said, because she’s just a very solid character. Shoutouts to Chie aka Yukiko’s gf!
Yukiko:
Next up, Chie’s girlfriend! Yukiko is very reserved and not as bombastic as other characters but I really like that about her. She just has this calm demeanour and whenever she talks, I’m always really invested in her dialogue. She’s always got some real shit to say. She also really balances out Chie’s personality really well which is why they’re both perfect for each other and I can’t believe they actually got married at the end of the game, can you believe that? However, I will say that she was way too painfully heterosexual during the nightclub scene around Naoto’s part of the game, but that’s more of a flaw on the story then her own flaw. Also, her social link development felt very strange to me because it goes from “I want to be independent from my family” to “Actually, this is where I belong” which I understand the message it’s going for but it still feels strange tbh. I would say I like her around the same level as Chie, which is ANOTHER reason why they are perfect for each other. Overall, she’s very bodacious. Shoutouts to her.
Kanji:
FUCK YEAH TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE BEST FUCKING CHARACTER IN THE GAME! Kanji is the FUCKING GOAT! It may not seem like it from his funny as fuck dungeon, but he is the GOAT! He’s the bro that Yosuke never was, as I would definitely chill and listen to JPEGMAFIA with him unlike with Yosuke. He’s a bisexual icon, even if the game is too much of a coward to lean into the more gay side of his character, but what do you expect from Persona? I love how he’s this tough badass that does deep down have a soft side to him (which reminds me a lot of Onigawara from Mob Psycho who’s one of my favourite characters in that show) and I like how his character development is him learning to except that being a “real man” is by being true to yourself and making cute plushies, as seen in his social link being THE BEST IN THE FUCKING GAME. Absolute ICON! He really makes you wonder why Yosuke is still in the game in the first place because Kanji does everything he does WAY BETTER! Also, him and Naoto are both gay and in love trust me they told me themselves. Anyways, KANJI SOLOS EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER IN THE GAME FUCK YEAH!!!!!
Rise:
I do not like Rise. I don’t utterly despise her like Yosuke or the next character I’ll talk about, but I do dislike her. I thought I was going to really like her from when she’s first introduced, as I really liked her calm and slightly cynical personality and I thought it would be great to have a character like that in the party, but I was so wrong. Turns out, Rise’s development isn’t about her leaving her life as an idol behind, but embracing it for some fucking reason. Turns out, her idol life is actually just how she normally is????? What the fuck????? Rise ends up turning about to be this annoying hyperactive and slightly smug character who’s always flirting with the main character because of Forced Heterosexuality SigAmi KaiMaki Angry Birds Movie 2 style (I already made that joke but I just had to make it again lol), and she’s also like that towards other characters as well. She’s also mean to Kanji, so she can go fuck herself. Overall, she’s annoying and I don’t like her. If she was removed from the game then nothing of value would be lost.
Teddie:
I FUCKING HATE TEDDIE I FUCKING HATE TEDDIE I FUCKING HATE TEDDIE I FUCKING HATE TEDDIE! HE IS THE WORST CHARACTER IN THE FUCKING GAME! If he isn’t making obnoxious bear puns every few seconds, then he is being a disgusting pervert, and when he isn’t doing that, he’s just being extremely fucking obnoxious. He’s also really fucking annoying during battles before Rise joins your party because he won’t SHUT THE FUCK UP! I don’t like Rise, but she is a billion times better then that stupid Freddy Fazbear wannabe. The most unrealistic thing about Persona 4 is the fact that the group view Teddie as a friend because in reality, I don’t think there is a single person who would ever love his pathetic existence. The game tries to give him character development later on in the story, but WHY THE FUCK should I care about the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, when I fucking hate the CHARACTER that’s being DEVELOPED! Overall, Teddie is the worst character ever, and it’s baffling how the bad ending of the game is labeled as such when Teddie leaving is the best thing that could happen to the group, because his existence is worse then anything Adachi could even do. If he was removed from the game then the world would be a much better place, and yet here we are.
Naoto:
I LOVE NAOTO! THIRD BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME! HE IS THE FUCKING GOAT! However, Naoto is different when compared to my other favourites in this game because of how utterly dirty he is done by the game. Kanji is disrespected as well and I already mentioned that previously and how it annoys me, but not to the extent that Naoto is. So, let’s talk about Naoto being trans.
The Naoto Transmasc Controversy:
Naoto’s character arc is fine if you just look at it in isolation. It is meant to be a commentary on how women aren’t given a chance in male-dominated jobs such as being a detective, and that’s a based message since women are amazing and I hope every women reading this is having a good day. However, the way the game handles this message is ATROCIOUS! Naoto is introduced as a man. He shows up here and there and isn’t relevant until after Mitsuo’s section of the game. Kanji is also heavily hinted at having a huge crush on him, which is adorable and I hope they live a happy life together. However, all of that changes after Naoto’s dungeon. It is then revealed that Naoto was born a woman and is transmasc, but isn’t actually, and is just presenting that way just because the detective industry is a male-dominated business. Naoto states here and there throughout the game that he wishes he was a man, but his character development involves him coming to terms with being a woman????? What the fuck????? The game is too much of a coward to have a trans character, and also to have Kanji be in love with a character who is a male, which fucking sucks. In my heart, Naoto is transmasc, and him and Kanji are both dating each other because they told me himself. You could argue with me that this goes against Naoto’s development in the game, but I don’t give a shit. So, with that out of the way, back to talking about the rest of Naoto’s character.
Naoto [Continued]:
I fucking love Naoto. He always has some real shit to say for being the only person in the group with an actual brain (Yosuke doesn’t count because anyone who’s homophobic is a fucking idiot). Whenever Naoto speaks, he always has this great way of delivering what he has to say and I love it whenever he spitting facts. He’s also pretty funny sometimes and has a lot of great moments as well (See: Naoto dissing Adachi in the climax of the game). He’s also the perfect contrast to Kanji, and in this essay, I will talk about why they are both gay and- nah, just kidding! I’m sure everyone knows that by now, but yeah. As you can tell, I’m a huge KanNao shipper lol. Overall, Naoto is amazing but the way Atlus treats him makes me want to hit the griddy but in an angry way.
Dojima:
THE SECOND BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME! THE FUCKING CEO OF DILFS! MY BELOVED! FUCK YEAH! I LOVE DOJIMA! Dojima is the fucking goat! He’s this great older brother figure in the game that keeps the game grounded when compared to the bullshit that happens with the TV world. He also tries his best to be a good father figure to Nanako, even if he is pretty flawed and neglectful, which I do really like about him because it shows that he is human. He’s just some guy who is struggling with the loss of his wife and having to balance detective/police work with raising his daughter, and the game does a good job at showcasing this. You clearly can see multiple times that he is flawed and has a lot of problems with being there for his daughter and the guilt that comes with it, but he grows throughout the game and his social links and learns to be there more for his family. Persona really cooked when they wrote his character and I love him a lot. Also, him and Adachi are both really fucking funny whenever they’re on screen together because they got them toxic yaoi vibes and I just KNOW that Adachi received them Dojima backshots off-screen. There’s nothing to say otherwise, trust me!
Nanako:
Nanako is great. She’s just a silly little critter. She serves her role in the story well and I don’t really have anything else to say about her. She’s just a very solid character. The silly :)
Adachi:
THE FOURTH BEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME LETS FUCKING GOOOOOO!!!!! ADACHI TRUE!!!!! Everyone loves Adachi. Even if you don’t play Persona, chances are you know him and love him from his funny as shit memes, and while that is Adachi-True.png, he is genuinely a great character all memes aside. For most of the game, he’s just this absolute goofball who’s really funny and lovable whenever he’s on screen before eventually revealing himself to be the main antagonist of the game. Even if I already knew that beforehand, the twist is really well-done and I was even wondering throughout my play through how the fuck Adachi could be evil. The way he acts when he’s evil is honestly great, and I think about his big speech at the end of the game way more then I should. Also, the line about him becoming a police officer just to own a gun is an insane af line for a game that is clearly pro-police. It is a true af line through. He really cooked when he said that. Overall, he’s simultaneously a lovable goofball and a great antagonist. Absolute goat. He’s also my friend’s favourite character so extra point for that.
Mitsuo:
Mitsuo is a red herring in the case and that’s all he’s meant to be, but considering how him killing Mr Morooka is a pretty major event, it feels extremely jarring how the game barely touches on Mitsuo’s character. I would really like the idea of a prominent antagonist in this game being an incel kid, but the game barely does anything with that which is disappointing.
Namatame:
Namatame is another red herring in the case, but the game actually treats him more like an important character and I honestly really like him. I don’t have much to say about him because he’s just a really fucking solid character that serves his purpose in the story well.
Mr Morooka:
THE FUCKING GOAT THE MVP OF THE GAME ABSOLUTE GOAT THE BEST CHARACTER IN EVERYTHING EVER KING MORON SOLOS FUCK YEAH LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO
Marie:
I almost forgot to mention her here which should tell you exactly how much I care about her character.
The Sagiris:
I don’t care about these omnipotent beings. They’re boring tbh, but maybe that’s just my RPG fatigue since they appear pretty late into the game lmao.
Overall, the characters in the game can range from goated to the worst characters ever. They’re kinda hit or miss for me, but the few standouts are really fucking good standouts.
Story:
To easily categorise the story, I’ll separate this section into acts, witch each act being represented by a character that you have to deal with.
Prologue/Act 1 (Yukiko)
Yeah, this game starts off VERY slow. Now, this wouldn’t be a bad thing if it was paced well. I am a fan of slow-burning stuff. I love Better Call Saul, I listen to Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and back when I actually liked the Puyo series, I wished that there would one day be a 50000+ word slowburn AmiEss fic, but Puyo Puyo fans suck and would rather write about the painfully mediocre SigAmi, so that never existed. However, the pacing of the prologue is very iffy. On one hand, the way you become friends with Chie and Yukiko feels WAY too sudden, but on the other, JESUS CHRIST THIS IS TAKING TEN YEARS CAN WE GET TO THE GAMEPLAY NOW!!!!! The story does set up the main mystery well, but it should’ve been condensed, which is a problem that you’ll see throughout the rest of the game. The game does definitely pick up once Yukiko gets kidnapped which is when the gameplay truly begins, and aside from her weird sexualisation in her midnight channel cutscene, it’s a fine first dungeon. I like her character’s motives and the resolution of confronting your problems and not running from them is a solid resolution and definitely better then some other ones (Kid Named Naoto:)
Overall, a decent yet slow start to the game.
Act 2 (Kanji):
This is definitely where the game starts to pick up and get pretty enjoyable. It establishes the main quartet well and I really enjoyed watching them interact (up until Yosuke falls off but I’LL GET TO THAT). Here, Kanji is introduced, with Naoto also having a small cameo. I really liked his introduction as it establishes his badass attitude and the way it portrays his whole closeted homosexual feelings towards Naoto is pretty funny and goofy. However, the dungeon of this chapter is actually fucking insane. Kanji is now almost naked in the TV world and in a fucking bathhouse acting like a gay stereotype and dropping lines that feel like punches to the gut. This dungeon is honestly so out-of-pocket that it honestly makes it fucking hilarious because you have a character who’s hinted at liking men and THIS is the fucking dungeon lmao. However, the end of this chapter is also when Yosuke begins to fall of and reveal himself to be HOMOPHOBIC! So that deducts points for this act, but it introduces the best character in the game which adds those points back so yeah.
Overall, this was a really enjoyable part of the game, but FUCK YOSUKE!
Act 3 (Rise):
This is the worst part of the game. Here, Yosuke is at his most unbearable as the worst parts of his personality (his homophobic and his painfully heterosexual attitude) are amplified by A LOT and this act also has the weakest series of events. The whole “motorbike” scenario with You, Yosuke and Kanji was just so unfun because Yosuke is out here wanting women to press their breasts against him and I’m just hear like SHUT THE FUCK UP! Also I hated having to pick up a girls number, especially since I had to pick up an older women, because in Atlus’ world, liking minors is ok if it’s an older woman and a teenage boy, WHEN IT IS NOT OK AT ALL! Afterwards, there is a camping trip but who the fuck cares about that. There’s an unfunny reoccurring gag about the female characters not being able to cook which runs throughout the entire game and it’s just not funny. Then you meet Rise and she tricks you into thinking that she’d be a cool character before she becomes annoying when she joins the cast. Her dungeon is also the worst one in the game, because it’s a fucking strip club. I know it’s trying to convey the stress Rise felt as an idol but like come on! Her resolution is also mid but I already talked about that so yeah However, Teddie’s shadow was a great twist and I loved that battle so shoutouts to that.
Overall, weakest act in the game. That shit was mid.
Act 4 (Mitsuo):
MR MOROOKA IS FUCKING DEAD NOOOOOOOOOOOO! REST IN PEACE TO THE FUCKING GOAT! Yeah, this act is when SHIT GETS REAL! I really liked how much Mr Morooka’s death completely throws a wrench into the case which adds to the whole mystery of it. It makes things pretty damn interesting. Also, TEDDIE TWINK JUMPSCARE! That shit definitely caught me off guard when I first played the game. I still fucking hate him but that scene was really funny and shoutouts to him bankrupting Yosuke as he should. Anyways, Mitsuo is then revealed as the next person you have to deal with in the midnight channel. He showed up around the prologue to hit on Yukiko and be an incel before dipping so him turning out to be an antagonist was a pretty good surprise. His dungeon is also really fucking good and marks the point in the game where the dungeons increase in quality. I also really liked Mitsuo’s performance for what little we saw of him, even if I wish he had more of a presence in the game. However, his boss fight is impossible on Hard mode which is a pain lmao. He’s one of the three bosses that I couldn’t beat in hard mode and had to switch to normal mode to deal with. Also, I wished he had a unique boss theme instead of just a R-R-RETRO!!!!! version of the regular mid boss theme.
Overall, this was a great act. It was very enjoyable and bodacious. Rip King Moron though. The goat will be missed.
Act 5 (Naoto):
Now, this act may introduce THE FUCKING GOAT NAOTO, but it’s also has some flaws. For starters, I did really like the whole fireworks festival part of the game because it was really nice, and I also liked how the group try to include Naoto in their activities and also Kanji’s crush on him coming back into the plot, which is still adorable. However, I did not enjoy the night club scene at all, and how KANJI’S FIRST KISS WAS TEDDIE GOD FUCKING DAMN IT I HATE THAT FUCKING BEAR IT SHOULD’VE BEEN WITH NAOTO GRAAAAAA also I hate forced heterosexuality like YUKIKO GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY LAP CHIE IS RIGHT THERE YOU BUFFOON!!!!! Anyways, Naoto then enters the TV world on his own will and you have to find him and I fucking love how worried Kanji is about him, like that shit was hype. However, then we reach The Reveal. I’ve already talked about it when I talked about Naoto’s character, so you already know how much it sucks.
Overall, this act had a bunch of great moments but also some not so good moments. It’s a mixed bag.
Act 6 (Nanako/Namatame):
This act is really fucking weird because it was on track to be the worst act of the entire game. While I did really enjoy the whole concert sequence, I did not enjoy the whole school festival part of the game, ESPECIALLY the swimsuit contest and the way the game treated the drag contest (Those outfits were fire, the game is just mean), and then you get THE FUCKING HOT SPRING SEQUENCE! ATLUS HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU I DO NOT ENJOY SEEING MINORS SEXUALISED BECAUSE THAT IS DISGUSTING AND BAD AND HORRIBLE AND STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM NAOTO LEAVE MY MAN ALONE AND STOP FOCUSING ON HIS BREASTS GRAAAAAAAA! HOWEVER, after that, SHIT GETS GOOOOOOD! I love the whole intensity of the situation involving the buildup to Nanako’s kidnapping and the actual incident. Your bonding with Nanako, Dojima finding out about you being tied to the case, and the entirety of the interrogation room section and the buildup to Nanako being kidnapped was top tier. The chase scene with Dojima afterwards was also amazing, and I love how this clearly shows his love for his daughter despite being neglectful and not there for her at all times. The dungeon is also one of the best in the game, and the whole encounter with Namatame is also so fucking good. The game does a good job at making this feel like this is where the case ends, and Namatame’s boss fight is also really good as well. Also, you can really feel Nanako and Dojima’s absence at this point in the game and it HURTS.
Overall, this act started off pretty weak but the climax of it made up for the rest of it, because god damn that was some good shit.
Act 7 (Adachi):
NOW THIS IS SOME GOOD SHIT! The city is now covered in fog and now Inaba has more negative aura then Wet Dry World in Mario 64. Also, Nanako and Dojima are still in the hospital so the isolation you feel is further enforced which hurts a lot. Anyways, NANAKO FUCKING DIES IN THE HOSPITAL!!!!! REST IN PEACE THAT SCENE MADE ME VERY EMOTIONAL but then you find Namatame in the hospital and you’re given the choice to FUCKING KILL HIM! That gets you the bad ending which I got on my first playthrough and it was really fucking depressing. You can also not kill him which also gives you the bad ending, but Nanako lives in that ending and Teddie leaves unlike in the good/true ending so idk why it’s still a bad ending because as I said previously, Teddie leaving is based.
Bad Ending:
I honestly love the bad endings because of how anticlimactic and uneasy they feels without being overbearing. It really makes you feel like something is wrong without outright stating it and it’s really effective. Good shit, Persona.
Accomplice Ending:
I’m gonna mention this as well since even though it’s later in the game, it’s also a bad ending so yeah. I sadly did not get this ending in my playthrough since Adachi was NEVER THERE when I wanted to talk with him and I could only get him up to LVL 4 on the social link so yeah. Sorry Adachi nation. I did watch it on Youtube though and I absolutely love how fucked up it is. Great shit, persona. Adachi solos. Shoutouts to his psychotic laughing sprite that’s only used for this scene fr.
Act 7 (Adachi) [Continued]:
To progress the game, you have to follow this specific dialogue tree which is a little frustrating but once you do so, the endgame begins and Nanako lives! Let’s fucking go! Anyways, you then talk with Namatame who’s actually just a chill guy who went down a downfall arc (literally me) and now you have to find the real killer…ADACHI PERSONA! Look, everyone already knows that Adachi is the main antagonist of the game because he’s practically unavoidable on the internet, but it’s still a really good twist and I love how the game handles the confrontation scene with him getting more and more irrationally angry until he slips up and has to run away, where he reveals his true self. Then you head over to his dungeon and fight him and shit goes hard but also the second phase is a bitch on hard mode and this is the second time I had to switch the game back to normal mode lmao.
Overall, PEAK CLIMAX! ADACHI IS THE GOAT! HE SOLOS! FUCK YEAH!
Act 8 (Marie):
After Adachi is dealt with, the game then has a bunch of silly slice-of-life stuff such as you making a snowman with Dojima and Nanako as well as your ski-trip which is all very epic. However, you then have to deal with Marie (after maxing her social link) and honestly I don’t give a shit about that Sagiri shit but yeah you do some shit and blah blah blah look at this point I was tired as shit and experiencing jrpg fatigue so bare with me and also I don’t give a shit about Marie lol. I thought she would be finally interesting here but no she isn’t lmao. Also, there’s another FUCKING HOT SPRING SCENE I AM GOING TO FUCKING LOSE IT FUCK ATLUS GRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Overall, I’m still enjoying myself even if my JRPG fatigue got the better of me lmao.
Epilogue (The fucking Gas Station Tweaker that Ghetto Smosh warned me about):
Alright, the twist was cool and all but at this point I just wanted to beat the game and get the true ending so whatever. I was satisfied with the good ending until an interaction with my friend made me realise that there was a true final boss so yeah lmao. Also the true final boss was the third and final time that I had to switch my game back to normal mode lmao. Anyways, the true ending is also really wholesome and it put a smile on my face. It was really nice and a great way to end the game.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Persona 4 is a really good game that has amazing gameplay and some pretty cool characters as well as an interesting story. However, weak characters and poor elements of the story hold the game back from being truly amazing. 7.5/10, maybe an 8/10 if I’m generous.

I just watched unintentional love story ep 2:
Our sculptor is absolutely gay, I suspect heartbreak or rejection or cruel father or Something in his past and that's why he went into hiding. That's Definitely part of why he doesn't date or want to be flirted with
Cafe owner is gay too and that may be one of a few reasons him and sculptor talk
I'm sorry main guy. I love you. You look like Chimon and Yu Liang from Hikaru No Go, you act like Shi Guang, you're very cute. But my dude... when you go "I hope you don't have a girlfriend, I'm a guy but I'm still swooning for you right now~" bitch that is some Zhao Yunlan bisexual flirting maybe be self aware??? I get it, your job is on the rocks and you're hyper stressed, I wouldn't think clearly either. Also I knew I was bi since my teens so I get it's gotta be hard for you not even knowing yet but. My dude. That is PLAYBOOK obvious bisexual flirting. That is the Manual. That's Jack Harkness Zhao Yunlan shit. Oh my god LISTEN TO YOURSELF. Sculptor in that fucking car, just mentally: HE REALLY FUCKING SAID THAT! HE SAID THATTTTT. THEN THE DUDE NO HOMOS ME WITH "HAHA BUT IM A GUY?" IM GONNA EXPLODE WHAT THE FUCK. (It's okay sculptor.. look, he may be losing his job, he is just REALLY not thinking clearly, I know what he just did was SO fucking much)
Main guy is like if Yu Liang and Shi Guang from Hikaru No Go had a child. Both in looks and temperment. He's insistent, intense, brave (and a bit zoned out as he's too focused on WHATEVER mission he's set his mind to). Super cute. I deeply desire his optimism and fighting spirit as I do NOT have his amount personally lol. But on the flipside, he's naive and easily manipulated by those in power so like.. thats gonna crash in his face eventually.
Secretly I love that sculptor is rich. I keep thinking about this analysis I read, about how in romantic media the trope of "horrificly violent scary mob boss falls for the girl" is possibly desired, in part, because it's like this fantasy idea. Of the threats in the world NOT hurting you, of having a "tiger on a leash." Instead of these worldly dangers hurting you, they do anything to protect you, you are For Once not in danger and are in fact in control of threats. I think there was some merit to that idea of it appealing, and I think the romance trope of "rich lover falls for protagonist" also kind of taps into that. We have our lead guy in this, losing his job and at the mercy of a corporation who sees him as disposable and a scapegoat and doesn't care if they ruin his life. And he (is presumably going to) fall for a sculptor from a rich family, with fame and talent he can even afford to hide from the world as a recluse, who's got a car and a shop and friends who own businesses (coffee shop owner). And its like the sculptor love interest in a way is like that "rich power" ideal but HIS (eventually). His lover, within his "control" and someone who wouldn't hurt him, in comparison to the job that uses him up and manipulates him and throws him away. I think while its Not central to the plot, that kind of trope in romance may be appealing for similar reasons to the mob boss love interest, the war lord love interest, etc. (And we see it on the rise lately, although it's Always been a big one lol: GAP the series gl, Step by Step brand new show, A Boss and a Babe, Never Let Me Go an action romance take on it). I just... that analysis I Still think about, it made some interesting points...
I love rhe tension each episode ends on
I love the guy with tattoos?
Main guy radiates Such disaster bi energy AND naturally flirts with all the men around him baby boy dude PLEASE get a moment of calm and look in a mirror. All the queer men around you are absolutely fucking Baffled
I am so invested in tattoo guy and coffee shop guy GIVE ME SCENES WITH THEMMMMM
I like when art is treated idk as like... accessible? For all this guy is a famous sculptor, he teaches classes anyone can take, he values the things main guy makes just for the sake of the creating it. It reminds me of the scene in Not Me with Dan and Yok, and Yok admiring Dan's art even though Dan is NOT an art student and couldn't afford to pursue a degree in art as it wasn't "practical" as so many of us have been through. And how Yok said all art is valuable, the different perspectives of each individual artist is valuable. And I really agree with that. I think art and it's diversity and it being made by all the kinds of people who do it is SO Valuable. So I like that in this show, although a smaller focus so far, there's a distinct lack of gatekeeping what's art and what's valuable. Yes, famous sculptors art is of course a more refined long practiced craft. But he values all his students works and wants to fire them in a special way, he gives them all advice and cares and appreciates what they make. They do not have to be Trained For Years to make things he finds valuable. And I personally appreciate that.
I just am really liking the vibe of this show
It's gonna be FUN ANGST FALLOUT when our manipulating part timer protagonist gets found out for the spying thing lol

ranking my favourite tomorrow (2022) plotlines
Tumblr media
we interrupt my usual thaibl ramblings for a little self indulgent kdrama review. i'm not a big kdrama watcher, i watch like one kdrama a year and usually it's the same one (i remember you/hello monster, park bogum <3333) but i finally got around to watching tomorrow because the premise of it was interesting and i am a fantasy so i gotta support the homies yknow. the drama was really good and i cried a lot so this ranking is based on how much i was invested in the storyline and how hard i cried :)
spoilers! + trigger warnings for suicide
No 11 - Ryu Cho-Hui/Suicide Broker
the only thing important about cho-hui is that she was formerly gop-dan, other than that, her plotline was very boring.
same for the suicide broker, the only thing that mattered was the fact that ju-woong had to come to terms with the fact that they had to save anyone no matter what. but it didn't make sense because he was going to hell anyways? so like why bother saving him when he was going to die anyways and end up in hell???????
No 10 - Kim Woojing
I liked this one because the love story between them was beautiful
No 9 - Namgoong Jae-Su
So did the dad survive? Did they change time???? I'm so confused by this episode, ALSO DID HE END UP PASSING THE POLICE EXAM???
No 8 - Shin Yena
I feel like this could have been better if they didn't figure out who it was so quickly and we were constantly guessing who the red light person could have been. for a brief second, i thought it was the boss and that was the big twist lmfao
No 7 - Twins Siblings
Ryeon as a prosecutor? Joongil setting the rapist on fire? Excellent.
No 6 - Lim Yu-Hwa
Whilst the reincarnated plotline wasn't my favourite because i'm not a fan of children and i'm not a mother, when ryung-gu gave yu-hwa her memories and they had that talk, i think that was when i bawled the hardest T_T
No 5 - Koo Ryeon's Past Life
This was one of the most angsty love stories ever and it was beautifully done. I didn't expect the conflict to be that she was a 'returned woman' and i thought for a brief second it was that joongil cheated on her with gopdan lmfao. but everything that led up to her suicide just made me so mad. especially that fucking mother, did she forget that ryeon literally saved her ass? and now she's like nah divorce? man fuck her. also the commoners really think it's okay to publicly talk shit and THROW STONES at a noblewoman? nah i fully agree with joseon joongil, death to all them idc idc
No 4 - Kim Kong
This one only made it this far because of N and the fact the main character was about a dog, nepotism is alive and well my dudes.
No 3 - Noh Eunbi
I think the memory thing was super cool and trippy. also because it was the first plotline it was really well fleshed out. the actor who played eunbi did an amazing job and i'm very happy the bully got what she deserved
No 2 - Yoo Bok-hee
This one was so traumatic and the twist at the end of Yun-i being the grim reaper, JDIGJARLGSJTGLTGLKRTSJGLRJSGFLSERF amazing
No 1 - Lee Young-cheon
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS, EVERYONE COMING TOGETHER TO GIVE HIM THE RESPECT HE DESERVED. OLD PEOPLE ALWAYS MAKE ME SO EXISTENTIAL AND GTGNJRTSKGLRTGNNGNGNNGNGNGNGN

Hi! I'm with Hadcanon again! What about the evil Jian Yuelou? Everyone is alive, Zhan Junbai is good and happy with her husband Yu Tangchun. Bai Jinbo reconciled with his wife and realized that she sincerely loves him. So, at one of the receptions, some official from Hong Kong / or Shanghai / seeing Chen Yuzhi began to show him signs of attention. Yuzhi at first talked sweetly with him, but the interlocutor began to get impudent and tried to hug him in every possible way. Yuzhi politely asked not to do this, but the official did not even think to stop and he was annoyed by the doctor's disobedience. Everyone who saw what was happening tried to stop the insolent man, saying that if Chen Yuzhi's husband saw it, then he was finished. The official didn't believe it and forcefully grabbed Yuzhi's wrist, causing him pain. Zhan Junbai saw this and hurried to Yuzhi's aid. He doesn't like that some scoundrel is bothering his friend and he doesn't want to see his house in the blood of this suicide/he knows the character of his friend, thank you very much/ Yuzhi slapped the official in the face, because this impudent man did not understand the words. When the enraged official wanted to hit the doctor in response, Jian Yuelou, angry as the devil himself, appears. And everyone around is like this: let's remember the idiot, I'll send flowers to his grave, I need to call the morgue. Jian Yuelou did not appreciate that his husband was being molested and ordered him to leave very harshly. The official could not believe that some policeman was ordering him and threatening to fire him. Jian Yuelou only raised an eyebrow. When the insolent man pulls his hands towards Yuzhi again, Yuelou punched him. The official is in shock and calls on others to witness that he was attacked. But everyone just pretended that nothing had happened 😁 Zhan Junbai tells him that if he doesn't disappear, he will provide Jian Yuelou with an alibi if the policeman wants to kill him. The official is furious, but none of the residents of Jingcheng will go against these two. Besides, everyone loves Chen Yuzhi and no one liked the way this scoundrel molested him. The official is promised that he will be provided with problems. But he is furious and does not want to listen and again tries to reach out to Yuzhi. Zhan Junbai at this moment just🤦Jian Yuelou grabs his hand and almost breaking it, drags him to the exit. Yuzhi wants to stop Yuelou, but Junbai won't let him. If a living official in his city is trying to cause trouble for Jian Yuelou, but his boss, when he found out what happened, just laughed, saying, are you seriously going to fight the Jingchen Demon? The government values Jian Yuelou too much, he is the best in the fight against drugs and they forgive him a lot. And his best friend is the Minister of Finance, who are you going to fight with? And Dr. Chen has treated so many influential people, his patients will give you a nightmare in reality.
I rolled up the whole sheet again😁
*gasps and makes grabby hands* Give it to meeeeeeee
Everyone knew about Jiang Yuelou
Everyone knew about him and his love for his husband, Dr. Chen Yuzhi while also knowing about his disastrous temper if Chen Yuzhi was ever bother, harassed, annoyed, or harmed
So, when they all saw an inspector from Hong Kong get…a little too close to Chen Yuzhi at a banquet…they knew shit was about to go down
Chen Yuzhi, on the other hand, didn’t think too much about the inspector (he had overly affectionate patients every now and then so he was used to it) but when the inspector got a little too…handsy, he would say, that’s when he started to get annoyed
“Sir…kindly do not touch me like that”
The inspector raised an eyebrow
“Why not? I’m just being friendly”
Chen Yuzhi narrowed his eyes
“I don’t know if you noticed, but I’m married.  And my husband wouldn’t exactly appreciate you touching me like this”
The inspector, however, just laughed and wrapped an arm around his waist, pulling him close
“I’m not scared of your husband…I doubt he’s that terrifying”
“That’s because you don’t know who his husband is”
Both Chen Yuzhi and the inspector turned to see Zhan Junbai slowly walking over to them, Yu Tangchun at his side
The inspector huffed
“And who is his husband?”
Yu Tangchun chuckled
“A demon”
The inspector stared at him in surprise before he barked out a laugh
“Now that’s a funny joke, Boss Yu.  A demon…hilarious”
While he was distracted by Zhan Junbai and Yu Tangchun, Chen Yuzhi tried to slip away and find Jiang Yuelou, but the inspector realized what he was doing and just grabbed his wrist, stopping him
“Now where do you think you’re going, Dr. Chen?”
Chen Yuzhi’s eyes widened, as did Zhan Junbai’s and Yu Tangchun’s, before he growled and slapped the inspector across the face, startling him as Chen Yuzhi yanked his wrist out of his grasp
“Get away from me”
The inspector looked at him with wide eyes before he growled and raised his hand
“You fucking bi—”
Before he could strike, however, his wrist was grabbed with such force that he nearly lost his balance, making him look over his shoulder to see a man dressed like a gangster standing there, his eyes cold
“You dare”
The inspector looked at him before he huffed and wrenched his wrist out of his grasp and turned to face him
“And just who are you?”
Jiang Yuelou smiled
“Commissioner Jiang Yuelou of the Jing City Police Department”
His smile then fell as his gaze turned deadly
“And Dr. Chen Yuzhi’s husband”
The inspector just looked at him before he laughed, not understanding the severity of the situation while around them, everyone was whispering to themselves, wondering just what Jiang Yuelou would do because again everyone knew about Jiang Yuelou
They knew about his temper and how short and volatile it was
But they also knew that it was nothing compared to the rage that he exuded whenever his beloved doctor, who was also a beloved doctor of Jing City, was hurt or bothered or harassed
Any fool that dared to slander Chen Yuzhi was honestly a dead man walking because the minute Jiang Yuelou got word, he was like a bloodhound, hunting the poor soul down until he found him
What he did with them, no one in Jing City ever knew…because no one in Jing City, no one in their right mind would go after Chen Yuzhi or say anything bad about him
Because how could you?
Chen Yuzhi was the sweetest, most caring doctor in Jing City
He treated people, criminals and non-criminals alike, with the utmost kindness, he gave money out of his own pocket to charities and to those in need…hell, if Chen Yuzhi could give you the shirt off his back, he fucking would
He was too nice
And although some people tried to take advantage of his kindness, Jiang Yuelou and the city wouldn’t let them
Even now, Jiang Yuelou and the city would not let this bastard get away with bothering Chen Yuzhi
They would not allow it
The inspector then looked at Jiang Yuelou before he smirked and stepped forward, getting in his face
“So what if you’re his husband?  What are you going to do to me?”
Jiang Yuelou shook his head
“You really don’t want to know, so I suggest leaving him alone so you won’t have to find out”
The inspector barked out a laugh
“I think I’ll do whatever I want”
He then turned and grabbed Chen Yuzhi, grabbing him hard enough to make him cry out and that was it
That was the straw that broke the camel’s back because before anyone could do or say anything, Jiang Yuelou swung, punching the inspector straight in the face, sending him to the ground
Everyone stared at him in shock, as it was still shocking every time, but they knew in their heart of hearts that the inspector deserved it
He hurt Chen Yuzhi
He was going to pay the price
The inspector then pushed himself to his feet and looked around, looking for any witness, but everyone had gone back to their own conversation, leaving him completely alone
He then blinked in surprise before he turned and glared at Jiang Yuelou
“How dare you.  Do you know who I am?  I can have you fi—”
Before he could finish his sentence, Zhan Junbai stepped in front of Jiang Yuelou and raised an eyebrow at him
“I think you’ve caused enough problems here already…kindly leave or else I will let Commissioner Jiang have his way with you and trust me, you will probably either end up in a hospital or in a ditch…so if you want to live, leave”
The inspector looked at him before he huffed
“Fine”
He then turned and walked away, but as he walked away, he reached out and grabbed Chen Yuzhi by the wrist, beginning to drag him away, much to the horror of everyone in the banquet because obviously he wanted to die and taking Chen Yuzhi was just asking for Jiang Yuelou to murder him
“Let me go!  Let go! Stop!”
The inspector, however, didn’t listen and continued to drag Chen Yuzhi, causing him to growl low in his throat before he raised his arm and chopped the inspector in the back of the neck, sending him to the ground
As soon as he hit the ground, Chen Yuzhi huffed and took a step back, rubbing his wrist as he glared down at the unconscious inspector
“Unbelievable”
Just then, Jiang Yuelou walked over to him and looked at him in concern
“Yuzhi. Are you alright?”
Chen Yuzhi looked at him and nodded
“I’m fine”
Jiang Yuelou then reached out and took his wrist in his hands, looking at how red it was, before he let out a growl and turned to look at the inspector
“Bastard”
“Yuelou, no.  It’s fine, I took care of it—”
Jiang Yuelou, however, didn’t listen and released his wrist as he walked over to the inspector, reaching down to grab him by the back of his suit before he began to drag him away, Chen Yuzhi staring after him with wide eyes
“Jiang Yuelou!”
He then made to go after him when Zhan Junbai walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder
“Let him go, Dr. Chen.  I’ll make sure he doesn’t kill him”
Chen Yuzhi huffed but didn’t argue, watching as Zhan Junbai followed after Jiang Yuelou, just as Bai Jinbo stepped over to him, a small frown on his face
“Are you alright, Dr. Chen?”
Chen Yuzhi looked over at him and nodded
“I’m fine…I just hope that Jiang Yuelou doesn’t get in trouble for this”
Bai Jinbo shook his head
“He won’t. Besides, that official started it first…he should have known better”
Chen Yuzhi hummed as Bai Jinbo looked at him
“Let me escort you home”
Chen Yuzhi glanced at him before he nodded, both of them heading out while the banquet continued as if nothing had happened
Later that evening, when Jiang Yuelou returned home, Chen Yuzhi ran over to him and looked him up and down
“Are you hurt?”
Jiang Yuelou laughed
“Me? No.  I’m fine”
Chen Yuzhi looked at him before he huffed
“You didn’t have to do that…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Jiang Yuelou cupped his face in his hands, making him look at him
“Yuzhi. He was bothering you.  He was harassing you.  I absolutely had to do what I did.  Nobody gets to treat you like that and thinks they can get away with it”
Chen Yuzhi looked at him before he laughed softly and reached up to gently grasp his wrists
“Are you a gangster or are you a police commissioner?”
Jiang Yuelou smiled
“Maybe I’m both”
He then leaned forward and gently rested his forehead against Chen Yuzhi’s
“But what I do know is that I am your husband.  And that I love you.  And that I will not let anyone harm you”
Chen Yuzhi smiled and gave his wrists a squeeze, humming softly
“I love you too.  My devilish husband”
Jiang Yuelou laughed softly and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead before he hummed as well
“I will gladly become a demon for you, my love.  Gladly”
And he would
Jiang Yuelou didn’t mind owning up to the name “The Demon of Jing City” if it meant 1) protecting his husband and 2) protecting his city
He would become a demon for Chen Yuzhi and he pitied the fool that tried to harm his husband in any way…because he would show them hell

Custom Toonami Block Week 145 Rundown
Spy X Family: Yor catches some of the bad guys with the bomb dogs but isn’t able to go after the leader because she can’t leave Anya again so Terrorist Bakugo gets away (it’s really funny that the terrorist boss is voiced by Clifford Chaplin and is talking about explosions all the time). To my surprise Yor actually does find out how serious the situation is with the terrorists and Anya gets a Future Dog Sight vision of Loid getting blown up by the bomb and a lengthy view of how this will also start a World War. So Anya apologizes to Yor for running off on her own and then… immediately runs off on her own again. Loid’s group catches the remaining terrorists so Bakugo is left by himself with one dog that Anya’s dog seems to have beef with so this briefly becomes Up because this dog even kinda looks like Alpha, feel like Doberman Pinschers are up there on the list of dogs that get a bad rap. Anyway Anya finds the bomb and is able to convey the message to Loid without blowing her cover so Loid can go and steal the Minister’s clothes and get Bakugo’s dog to track him instead (idk how long that’d work for like presumably politicians put on fresh suits before big meetings and Loid’s scent would eventually overpower the residuals of his but it’s clever so I prolly shouldn’t think about it too much maybe the Minister’s just a sweaty old guy that never changes idk). But yeah Loid is able to parkour away from Alpha and is just gonna fucking shoot the dog, like he acknowledges it isn’t the dog’s fault and he’s sorry but like I really hope he doesn’t shot that fucking dog like he’s a god damn spy shouldn’t he have tranqs or something?
Inuyasha: So we’ve entered the Princess Abi mini-arc and she is one of my favorite minor underutilized villains up there with Yura, she’s just pretty dope. She’s using her little pterodactyl birds to suck blood from the human villages around to basically give her phoenix mom a feudal blood transfusion since she was poisoned after eating a big ol’ poison demon. I’m not sure that’s how blood works but it’s the feudal era so the fact that they’re messing with blood at all is kind of a miracle plus idk maybe demon biology is weird. Anyway OG Naraku shows up after not seeing him for a while as Hakudoshi’s currently on Temporary Naraku duty. But he says Abi’s gonna help him get to the afterlife and gives her a bone trident. Because Naraku is the shadiest god damn person in the world Abi and her mother don’t trust him as far as they can throw him but as a show of good will he faces off against the children of the poison demon Mama Abi ate. They start shooting poison and Naraku’s just like ‘aw that’s cute, they think they have poison’ and fucking poison blasts them into the stone age. Abi and Mama Phoenix don’t trust Naraku but their racism makes them overconfident like ‘yeah that guy’s stronger than anyone I’ve ever seen but he’s a half-demon so I can probably still kill him if he gets up to anything’ sound logic guys. Meanwhile Inuyasha’s group is defending the only village in the area left standing and Abi’s Pteradactyls do a pretty cool The Birds parody and start fucking shit up. Of course Abi comes around and Naraku’s gifts of Saimyosho and Bone Trident barriers protect her from the group’s two biggest OHKO moves (prolly still wouldn’t do shit against Kagome’s Sacred Arrow but when was the last time she did shit with that). Since Abi has two brain cells to rub together she puts together that Naraku’s setting her up to fight Inuyasha and dips the fuck out of there because if some shady dude wants you to fight a guy with a laser sword even if you think you can win there’s probably nothing good coming from that. Anyway next week’s a random filler flashback episode that expands on Kikyo’s flashback with Inuyasha, I have no idea why they didn’t air that special BEFORE we started a new story arc with Abi but yeah, what do I know.
Yu Yu Hakusho: I can’t emphasize enough how much this has just become a DBZ fight, like I’ve said that before in this series but Demon!Yusuke vs Sensui is just literally a DBZ fight. It’s kinda funny watching them go through all the DBZ tropes for the first time like the moving so fast you can’t see, the ‘dodge and blow something huge a mile away up’, the casually changing landscape as they demolish rock formations with their sheer manliness, the clash creating weather phenomena, the ‘let’s move this category four brawl to that convenient empty desert so no one gets hurt’ it’s cute, like the meme of the guys on the gallows with DBZ just looking at YYH like ‘first time?’ since with DBZ everyone just kinda got desensitized to it real fast it’s amusing to watch a series with relatively grounded fights just become DBZ and have everyone lose their minds. Also there’s kind of a funny scene where we cut back to the Spirit World SPC and apparently nobody told them S Class demons were really a thing because they wanted to keep their egos up and let them believe they were the strongest since S Class Demons are basically Elder Gods and never interfere with humans anyway, it’s just kind of a bizarre decision to save your police’s sanity by telling them there’s nothing they can’t beat. But yeah Yusuke comes back and is only mildly distressed that his heart isn’t beating anymore which Kurama and Hiei laugh off and are like ‘yeah that happens’ and it’s actually kinda cool that Kuwabara and Kurama and Hiei all get kinda jazzed that Yusuke’s back like it actually gives them a power boost, the comfort of having him return is stronger than the despair of losing him in the first place and it makes no god damn sense on a power scaling level but it’s a nice theme. Yusuke does his DBZ thing and is kinda having trouble getting a read on how strong he is until his demon side just takes over and wants to finish the fight for him and I’m slowly realizing I don’t think Tite Kubo has an original storytelling bone in his body, Bleach just lifted a whole show and gave it a new coat of paint huh.
Jujutsu Kaisen: It’s time for Yuji’s big return! We get a fun little couple of intro scenes and the main takeaway is that Gojo wants Yuji to just cram every finger they have into his mouth right now but everyone else is afraid he’ll explode or some shit if he does it before he’s strong enough to handle or worse turn traitor and let the power go to his head. But yeah Yuji meets back up with Megumi and Nobara and is just kinda thrown into their new squad after not seeing them for two months and NOBODY has a reaction to seeing him alive except for being mildly pissed that he kept it a secret. Megumi vouches for his pure fighting capability outside of Cursed Techniques so the others are on board for letting him join their race to quell a minor spirit while using even minor-er spirits as a tiebreaker. The Yamamoto Kyoto principal dude wants Yuji dead still so he just straight up tells his students like ‘yeah go murder that guy in the games, make it look like an accident if you can but if not no biggie’ like holy fuck even if you consider him a threat, treating him as ‘not a person’ as he calls it seems like Kyoto’s REALLY teaching their students the wrong lessons, aren’t these guys supposed to save people? Guess it goes along with the theme of Yuji having a potentially too high reverence for human life but also the virtue that he places on not killing even the worst people. Todo objects to random murder and more importantly his idol show is on so he’s not gonna go along with that. Meanwhile the bad guys are all healed up and ready to go take the fingers the school has during the event and Gojo warns that the person leading them is probably a school insider of some sort, so yeah we got a standard Chunin Exams situation going on here where there’s a surface test but also like three random backstab plots happening in the background.
Ranking of Kings: So Shield Guy loses an eye and a foot to the chimera things and Hilling cries out to Bosse to save them and Daida!Bosse almost rips his way straight out of his cell to do so but whatever the fuck Miranjo’s got on him to make him do absolutely jack shit in this arc stops him. Hilling doesn’t want to leave shield guy to die so she tries to help and turns out Giant Snake Cerberus is here to save the day and takes out the Chimeras to give Hilling a chance to heal Shield Guy but Gnasty Gnorc is still here and fucks giant snake up. Then Bojji FINALLY returns home and defends the snake and his mom. We get a minor flashback with Despa teaching Bojji how to fucking CUT THE SPACES BETWEEN ATOMS which is badass beyond words. And Bojji uses this power to fucking wreck Gnasty Gnorc’s shit. Bojji wants Hilling to heal the snake but he’s like ten times the size of the stuff she usually heals and she’s out of magical Gatorade. Luckily Kage’s a mobile hammerspace and is able to get her enough to heal the snake AND the chimeras after Bojji feels bad about everyone being hurt. Hilling and Kage are the biggest egos in the room so they clash for a bit but it resolves itself relatively quickly which is kind of funny because if Hilling didn’t trust Kage she sure was quick to drink some mysterious potions he literally pulled out of his ass. But yeah once Gnasty Gnorc wakes up he realizes he’s not about to fuck around with the power to cut atoms and swears loyalty to Bojji which is pretty cool, Bojji’s like gathering his own little One Piece crew to become the Ranking of Kings King. Meanwhile Despa is watching his guards get fucked up by Ouken who’s apparently literally immortal and only gets saved by random unexplained lightning bolt frying him temporarily unconscious. Apparently Ouken used to be a prince of the underworld which I guess would make him Desha and Despa’s third brother? But now he’s immortal and being cut off from the fear of death or urge to watch others grow made him a fucking asshole which is kinda funny because if he really is the third Des brother that means he’s only been immortal for like a couple years probably and it IMMEDIATELY made him an asshole. Also Desha is now arriving at the Underworld gate to beat Miranjo and it’s implied do something to save Ouken.
Vinland Saga: So this is an episode just fucking loaded with religious allegory and how people interpret Christianity and there’s A LOT of room for interpretation so I apologize if I misread anything to leave anything out. It starts with the Those Two Guys of Askeladd’s troupe trying to decipher the kind of love the Christian Priest is searching for and I’ve been forced to read enough about the Four Loves that I’ll spare you the explanation but essentially what the Priest is after is a brotherly love for all humanity that doesn’t distinguish by relation to the person but is compassionate towards all, and only the Vikings telling him of the story of Thorfinn’s dad gets him even close to explaining it. We then cut to a little village where a girl is having an existential crisis about stealing a ring given her family won’t shut up about Jesus and stealing is… you know, one of the Commandments. It’s kind of a refreshingly frank depiction of how generations of Christians use fear and vague moralistic stories to perpetuate the general idea of Christianity while kinda missing some of the details, considering a lot of anime treats Christainity like this weird nebulous mythology to be referenced with cool shit like in Evangelion this is kinda neat to see. But yeah, this is still a story about Vikings so Bjorn breaks into their house while the girl is out and Askeladd’s crew proceeds to fucking murder everybody to steal their food and keep their location a secret. I don’t remember if we see any of their Welsh guardians in this episode and I THINK this part is in England but murdering a bunch of harmless villagers at the drop of a hat should give them some pause about making a deal with these guys. But yeah the ring stealing girl escapes and finds the Coordinate from Attack on Titan and prays to god feeling like her stealing and the Viking genocide is the same deal because Catholic Guilt is a hell of a drug and presumably she dies because she’s out in the middle of the snowstorm with like no food and nothing around, like that’s the reason Askeladd raided the village in the first place so like we don’t see her actually die but I’m not holding my breath for her survival. One thing I wanted to bring up is whenever we get to the pillaging scenes we never see Thorfinn directly participate in the pillaging part like he’ll murder other warriors but we never see him killing civilians on-screen, I’m sure he probably does at some point and that’s part of his infamous turmoil in season two but I just thought that was an interesting choice, like it reminds me of how The Kid is portrayed in Blood Meridian where they’re very vague about how involved he is in the atrocities going on so they leave it up to interpretation of how much blame he carries for it.

Time for destined with you episode 5!
Was something translated weird about his I don't drink thing, I got confused. His family is cursed and he didn't want his dad to yell at him so he didn't drink? Like, they easily get drunk? Whatever. Him getting drunk will probably be a plot point later.
Neither of them seem bothered that she was gonna make another guy fall in love with her.
Ok, him dropping her in the sand is kinda funny.
Ya when are we gonna see red hand again, it's been a bit.
This chicken blood thing is vandalism, wouldn't you call the cops? Freaky.
Why would the fair skin spell melt him a woman? I'm guessing weird translation thing there.
He is being stupid to not tell people close to him he's sick. Very stupid. Though I guess he told his family.
Oh wow I thought that say Harry at first lol, like, why is she throwing a party for a dude named Harry
Wait wait, I literally just rewound that to listen again. Why would the mayor be against them marrying? Also whatever friend tried to call him and warn him what she's doing, I can't tell if that's a good friend thing or a bad friend thing.
I don't really get his parents dynamic. They seem so unhappy. His dad's 'I'm so done with her shit' smile is kinda funny though
So wait are we jumping around in time or is he back with his gf?
Was I supposed to know who that person in the hanbok was?
Oh he thought it was hong jo
Geez, when he's mean he cuts deep.
I mean, staying away from each other makes sense.
Of course she was a rich bitch to hong jo in school. Ugh. Sigh.
And after an hour long break talking to bestie on the phone, I return!
Gong and his boss are kinda fun to watch together, but I also don't care.
I didn't understand their lunch conversation at all. He asked her out to lunch to tell her she wants him? Seemed silly.
Pretty like a funeral wreath. Daaaaaaaamn.
I kinda want the guy she likes to never fall for her. Just for something different. But I bet he will.
So they have, like, no plan to deal with the love spell. I guess I don't know what they would do. She didn't seem to feel bad about it anymore, but he is kinda mean to her too. I dunno, I saw people commenting about how she really should be responsible for what she did, but I'm not sure what that would look like.
Sin yu, this is definitely on the cheating line now, calling girls just to get their voice. I dislike how she changes so much between the two guys though. She seems much more real around sin yu.
It's subway!
Who is this little boy she eating lunch with? What?
I do feel bad for sin yu. I don't like him calling hong jo a knockoff, but I get why it's hard.
I hope this doesn't have a twist where her dad isn't dead. I don't want to go in that direction.
So what stupid shit is his drunk ass gonna get up to. Hmm.
He looks so pathetic.
Grats to jae gyeung for being like 'wtf guys this is cheating'
Don't kiss. This is cheating. Don't kiss. This is not sweet.
I hope they don't kiss. The cut there makes me think they won't.
Despite the cheating I'm still getting sucked into this show. Usually that's a show stopper for me. We'll see if it lasts or if I get frustrated enough to give up.

OC-Tober 31: free space :)
[In which Aoyagi gets his weekly visit from his dirty old uncle]
Aoyagi is shoving a batch of bread in the oven for the dinner shift when he hears the door ding. "Be right with ya," he calls over his shoulder.
"Aw, c'mon," a familiar voice calls back. "What's a guy gotta do to get some pussy around here?"
God. Aoyagi tries not to laugh. He really does. He doesn't try very hard. "You sure you wanna burn yer one allotted pussy joke per visit right in the door?" he yells back as he shuts the oven. "You know where yer seat is, ojisan."
Tuesday evening, after the lunch barista and cooks have gone home and before the dinner crew shows up. Just like clockwork. Aoyagi watches from the kitchen as the old man picks his way through the main room to his favorite comfy chair, careful as always not to plant his cane on any paws or tails. A few of the cats trot over to greet him as soon as he sinks into that chair. The fact that he keeps "accidentally" dropping things they're not supposed to eat probably figures into that. "Where's my favorite girl? Hey, Miyuki-chan! Pspspsps--"
Miyuki is facing away from the door and has not yet noticed her favorite customer, and so she goes on licking herself. "She can't hear ya," Aoyagi reminds him. Seems like they have this conversation every time. There are even signs on the wall--Miyuki's glamour shot captioned I'm Miyuki-chan! I'm not ignoring you, I'm deaf! Thank you for understanding! It never sticks. To be fair, though, Aoyagi has been Miyuki's guardian for three years now and he still catches himself going pspsps at her when he knows damn well she can't hear him. "You want the usual?"
"You know it," the old man says. "Hey. Where's that Siamese-lookin' one?"
"Luna? Uh..." Aoyagi starts lining up ingredients on the counter. Eggs, cheese, ham, sourdough bread. "Check under the tables n' stuff. She's been into feet lately."
"Heh. My kinda gal. Naw, the other one. The boy? Little fat one with the stubby tail?"
"Oh, Mochi! Yeah, he got adopted yesterday."
"No kiddin'? Good for him."
"His replacement oughta be around here somewhere..." Aoyagi sticks his head out of the kitchen and sees a big battle-scarred orange cat with big old tom jowls and a clipped ear and a bad case of resting grump face standing up with his paws on the old man's knee. "Yeah, the tough guy climbin' up on ya."
The old man reaches down to give the tough guy a scritch. The tough guy lets out a gravelly meow. If a cat could smoke a pack a day, that's what it'd sound like. "Thought he looked new. What's yer name, bud?"
"He ain't got one yet. We're callin' him 'Nyan-han' for now." Aoyagi goes back to work. "Hey! Yer gettin' decaf. Last time I gave ya the real shit the boss gave me an earful about yer blood pressure."
Aoyagi swears he can hear the old man roll his eyes as he folds a sheet of egg around a slice of cheese. "That was before the doc straightened my meds n' shit out. It'll be fine this time."
"Ojisan."
"The boys ain't let me have one minute of fun since '88." Aoyagi does not know exactly what happened in '88. He's heard bits of it, but the old man's always just sort of handwaved it off. He got hurt, from what Aoyagi gathers. Bad. Bad enough that he almost didn't make it, bad enough that he was never the same after. Aoyagi wonders, but can never quite bring himself to ask, exactly what he was like before. Then again, he probably doesn't need to. Sometimes the old man says something, or gets a look in his eye, or moves a certain way, and Aoyagi thinks maybe just for a second he can see the shadow of the hellraiser Homare Nishitani used to be. "And Yu-chan's the worst of 'em. Caffeinate me."
"The boys and the boss are just lookin' out for ya," Aoyagi says, firmly. "And so am I."
"Tch. Ya hearin' this shit, Nyan-han? Awright. C'mon up here." The old man pats his knee and Nyan-han hops up with another hoarse meow. His face is no less grumpy, but he's slow-blinking and making biscuits like his life depends on it. Probably purring his head off, too. "Heh. Grouchy li'l shit, ain't ya?"
"That's just how his face is." Aoyagi stacks the cheesy eggs onto buttered sourdough with a slice of ham and puts the whole thing back on the griddle to toast. "He looks mean as shit but he's a sweetheart."
"Heh." The old man goes on petting Nyan-han as Aoyagi loads up a tray with fresh fruit and a cup of kitty treats and a plate ready for the sandwich. He waits until the old man's full attention is on Nyan-han and quickly pours a cup of decaf. "Kinda reminds me of Majima-kun."
Aoyagi's eye twitches.
"You do too. More n' more every day."
Aoyagi flips the grilled sandwich onto the plate and cuts it in half, then carries the loaded tray out into the main room. He neatly sidesteps a massive tortie that tries to throw her entire body weight into Aoyagi's leg as he passes and sets the tray down on the old man's table. "I'm nothin' like him."
"Huh." Funny. Aoyagi would have expected him to have more to say about that. But he doesn't. Aoyagi just unloads the tray, and he just goes on petting Nyan-han until the tray is empty. And then he reaches into his jacket pocket, draws forth an obscenely thick wad of cash, and slaps it on the table. "Lock up."
"Haw!?"
"I'm buyin' ya out for the night. That's a thing with restaurants n' shit too, right?" The old man gestures towards the stack of money. Aoyagi guesstimates it would cover dinner, late night, and then some for his whole staff. "Give yer minions the night off. And then fix ya a plate n' sit down." He shrugs. "C'mon. I don't wanna eat alone."
"You're not eatin' alone, ojisan. Ya got ten cats out here with designs on yer ham."
"I want two-legged company that don't treat me like I'm gonna keel over n' die if I drink one cup of decent fuckin' coffee." He snorts out a humorless laugh. "I can't drink anymore. I can't smoke. I can't drive. I can't get it up half the time n' even when I can, I can't do a damn thing with it other than--"
"Awright! Awright! I'll do whatever ya want! Just don't finish that sentence!" He grabs a sign out from under the counter and hangs it in the front door: Closed for private event, will reopen at 11AM tomorrow. aPAWlogies for the inconveNYANce :3
"Attaboy," the old man chortles.
Aoyagi heats up a bacon cheddar scone while he calls his crew and tells them they've got the night off with pay. He cuts up his own little pile of fresh fruit and pours himself some coffee and once again makes his way through the gauntlet of friendly cats with a loaded tray. "I shouldn't be doin' this and you know it," he says as he sits down.
"Yeah, yeah." And right about that time, Miyuki finally turns around and sees her favorite customer. With a joyous earsplitting yell of the sort that only ever comes out of cats that can't hear themselves, she hops down from her perch and trots over to say hello. "Hey! There's my favorite girl. Oops." And he "accidentally" drops a sliver of ham on the floor in front of her.
"Dammit, ojisan." Aoyagi intercepts the ham and wads it up in a napkin before Miyuki can snarf it down.
"Aw, c'mon. Let her live."
"Last thing I need's my number one girl comin' down with the runs in a customer's lap tomorrow. Ya got a cup of kitty treats right there. Give her those."
"Awright, fine." Miyuki hops up into the old man's lap and snuggles up next to Nyan-han. Nyan-han leans over, licks her ear a few times, and goes to sleep. "Ya gave me decaf, ya little shit."
"How the fuck can you tell!?" Aoyagi splutters. "It tastes the same!"
"No it don't." The old man takes another sip and there's that gleam in his eye, the one that hints at the unholy terror he used to be. "Rest of me's goin' to shit but my tastebuds still work. Ya brew yer decaf stronger. Like ya think that's gonna make up for it."
"Tch. Nothin' gets past you, does it?"
"Eh. Not much does." The old man goes on eating his sandwich and feeding treats to the cats. "How long ya been with us now, Amano-kun? 'Bout three years?"
"Somethin' like that," Aoyagi says.
"Ya still that sore at him?"
"What's to be sore about?" Aoyagi takes a big bite of his scone in the hopes that it'll take long enough to chew that the old man will change the subject. He doesn't. "He just tried to kill me, is all. Nothin' to be sore about."
"Any particular reason ya asked Yu-chan to train ya with a blade?"
Shit, how does he... forget it. "Any particular reason ya won't let him look into why Majima called a hit on me?"
"Touché," the old man snorts. "Ya little shit. Like I said. More n' more every day. Get me a cup for the road, would ya? The good shit this time."
"Go to Matsubara on the way home n' leave me out of it."
"I'd drink garbage water straight outta the river before I drink Matsubara's shit. I like your coffee."
Aoyagi sighs. "Flattery will get ya everywhere, old man. Fine. I'll pour ya half a to-go cup but ya gotta tell the boss ya had to torture me for it." Which, given the turn their conversation took tonight, isn't that far from the truth.
"I'll tell him I snuck back n' poured my own while you were in the can."
"Deal."
The old man finishes up his dinner, gently deposits Miyuki and Nyan-han on the floor, and starts to haul himself out of his chair. Aoyagi offers him an arm. He waves it off. He always does. He's always determined to do as much as he can still do by himself, and Aoyagi can't really blame him. So he just pours half a to-go cup of regular coffee and hands it to him. "Torture," he says.
"Yeah, yeah. I ain't rattin' ya out. Hey, I bought ya out for the whole night. Get outta here. Go take a walk. Get you a hooker or a Nintendo or whatever you kids are into these days."
"Fuck's sake, ojisan." Aoyagi shakes his head. "Be careful headin' home."
"Yeah, yeah."
And with that, he's gone and Aoyagi is left alone with ten cats and a lot of thoughts he didn't want tonight.

top 5 fave animes?
top 5 fave knb matches?
top 5 fave requests u’ve gotten?
top 5 fave things about your fave character?
Oh man, this is a really long post that took me hours to write XD I apologize for the length and the going a little nuts over a character not from a series I write this blog for ^-^'
Here we go~
Top 5 fave animes (this is hard btw lmao it tends to change over time XD)
Tokyo Revengers
Daiya no Ace
Naruto
Kuroko no Basket
Yuri on Ice
Remembering all the anime I've watched is haaard. and 'fave' is transitory lol. The above five are the one's I've rewatched out of love. There are a bunch that I love but that were just short one-season things that I never wrote anything for like My Roomate is a Cat, and Kotaro Lives Alone, Gakuen Babysitters and Record of Ragnarok.
But honorable mentions go to OG/or high-fave anime that I still write for:
Gundam Wing
Yu-Gi-Oh
Herioc Legend of Arislan
Eyeshield 21
Days
Top 5 fave knb matches
Seirin vs Rakuzan
Too vs Kaijo
Seirin vs Shutoku
Seirin vs Yozen
Seirin vs Too
Top 5 fave requests
This is really hard because there are SO MANY, and there is only one that really sticks out. I went back through my asks and it took so long XD
Kominato Ryousuke x Reader x Kuramochi Youichi smut
GoM play laser tag
Ryousuke, Mochi and Miyuki react to s/o's cheesy pick up lines
Akashi's son goes to kindergarten
Lemony Yamato, Kakei, and Marco
Making out headcanons with Phichit, Guanghong and Yurio
Top 5 fave things about my fave character
Okay, so trying to choose ONE character is really hard... I'm going to go with Mikey from TR because he's my current fave lol
He can be incredibly loyal, especially when he's younger. He will throw down with anyone that talks shit or hurts his gang or any of it's members. Of course, loses this some over time as he gets darker
He's beautiful, and adorable, no matter which timeline Mikey it is. Looks wise, my least favorite is serial killer!Mikey cause black hair looks weird on him, as black hair often does on blonds. My fave is either first!timeline adult Mikey, or pre-serial killer Mikey, when he has the short blond hair.
He loves deeply and fiercely. This is why he breaks a little more every time he loses someone, until his final loss and he gives in completely to the darkness. His inability to deal with his lost loved ones is the corner stone of why he goes dark (even with the revelations of the last few chapters)
He's so badass, but like, super childish at the same time? He rides the fine like between capability and being taken care of. Like he can stand up and be independent, and is the BOSS, but if there are others around that will wait on him, he will take advantage lol
His ambition and leadership qualities. Mikey knows himself, he knows the darkness and knows the path he's headed towards -- it was the path he chose. Because he knows himself, and because he's loyal and loves his friends, he leaves them to keep them safe, mostly from himself.
Mikey is so complex, but at his heart, he's a loyal, loving boy/man that was hurt over and over until he was forced to harden himself to survive. He's childish in some cases (mostly when he's a 14/15 year old baby), but he grows through out the course of the series (sadly, just not for the better). He lost literally everyone closest to him, and really is a product of a life of tragedy and pain. This is why I think he's one of most sympathetic villains I've ever read, and the mangaka has done a great job with the story telling, for the most part.
/End rant cause I could go on forever.

Yo-rim(mom)
Have a seat.
Jhope P.O.V (Hoseok) 🧠
Ugh…even that fake smile is creepy
Tumblr media
He then sat at the table full of women and by the looks of it, their father was behind them too.
He had no clue what was happening or was about to happen he thought his parents were just setting up a meeting for just the three of them or with a customer.
Woman 1
Hi, Mr.Hoseok I'm lily and this is my dad Mr.Hamsung.blah blah blah
Women 2
Hi, I'm blah blah blah blah

He went into a daze
Jhope P.O.V (Hoseok) 🧠
The hell am I going crazy it feels like I'm trapped or surrounded by something this heat is killing me
Yo-rim and Yu-Jin P.OV
Ok, son don’t you think it’s time for you to find a lovely wife and settle down. Therefore we have found some lovely women who would like to get to know you very well and would like to marry you. I look forward to having some grandchildren, “They both said”.
Hoseok then got up and left the office heading toward the elevator.” Where are you going do you know how rude you are to just walk out of an important meeting, especially for your sake,” Yo-rim said”.He ignored her getting into the elevator as the doors closed in her face still talking to him. He then opens up his phone and called Wang(His assistant a.k.a right-hand man). Anyways back to the story...
Jhope P.O.V
Wang prepare the jet in 2 days' time set and set the location to a safe house, where? Idc I just need to get away from here and prepare my car same time on the same day I want no trace of evidence left we’re going under hiatus.
As soon as he got home he went straight to his room taking off his suit right as his mom burst through the door.

She slapped him in his face leaving a mark which made him very pissed……Then his dad entered the room frowning
Jhope P.O.V (Hoseok)
You! I am so fed up with this bullshit between the both of you because the both of you are full of shit. You say you're doing it for me but you're doing it for your sake money, status, leverage, ancestors? Fuck you and your Ancestors and your stupid prophecy. It's all about you! We both know you don't give a damn about us your children if you are willing to put me into a contract marriage with high-class members.
I'm sure you would be willing to sell your daughter for the sake of you or was it us?I am done with you and the rest of the family if it’s a heir you want have another son the younger the better right? You may even sell her to a married man or more than that including me I didn’t know this was a “polyandry” country now.
Both of his parents both looked dumbfounded and guilty but as he walk passes them their faces frowned up.
Was he in the wrong or right?
Was this the “Plan”?
To be continued
