You know what really bothers me about Byakuya screwing with the evidence in Case 1-2?

He saw Mondo leave and figured if they turned the case on him, he could just say he set everything up after seeing Mondo.

Like they would have believed him without any evidence when clearly ALL of the evidence would still have been pointing at him (because it isn't like he gathered anything to prove that Mondo did it; he just expected them to believe him - proven by the fact that he didn't notice the room switch, which was essential to the case).

Byakuya gets mad at everyone else for blind faith and not having evidence, but he expected them to not need evidence and believe him when the evidence he planted clearly pointed the murder at him.

Dude.

Also doing all of this just to draw Jack out by telling Toko she'd broken her promise to him when he knew full well that she hadn't? Setting all of that up just to trigger Jack out of her? Just to trigger Toko into a state of panic so bad she refused to leave her room? For what, just to prove himself right?

Byakuya's such a jerk.

btw officially done with arkham. wah-hoo

#shitpost #i still might post about it. again. need to go through screenshots #and also it lingers. by god does jason fucking linger #but also just the whole series is phenomonial and fascinating #theres a lot of angles to approach it both in gameplay and in just general analysis #i finished on the robin dlc. how the camera pans down to the blackened side of the coin makes me sad #BUT AT THE SAME TIME #two-face doing a whole 'you cant do this alone' speech at tim. fucker. but like!! tim has barbara! right in his ear!#and anyways he strikes out and defeats two-face!!! he's fucking got it!#barbara is right. that tim will be better than batman. they BOTH will be. tim and barbara are step one of the next protectors of gotham #and they will SURPASS as far is IM FUCKING CONCERNED.#so. anyways. tldr a good place for me to end #next time i feel like playing arkham in however long that is. i will get to replay origins fo the first time (as ive only played it once)#PLUS. maybe i'll actually play blackgate #or maybe ill play blackgate on its own sometime #as i am curious how its relevant and what it has in it #even tho i also know that like. it leans MORE on the metroidvania. which like. ew. lol #and it also has a simpler story as far as i know #which makes sense for a mobile game #ok im done now sorry #i say im done but im probably going to keep talking about arkham even though im not playing it #because im terrible at these sorts of things (aka. shutting up)
