blackinformationnetwork New York's #BellevueHospital has released a statement after one of their white employees was caught on video trying to steal a #CitiBike reserved by a Black man.

In the video, the hospital employee attempted to take the Black man's reserved bike by crying for help and painting him as a threat to onlookers of the scene.

The woman's attempt eventually ended when her colleague told her to take another available bike. Following widespread backlash, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue released a statement addressing the incident.

Rapper #KiddCreole — one of the founding members of the legendary hip-hop group, #GrandmasterFlash and the Furious 5 — has been charged with murder for the stabbing of a homeless man, #JohnJolly, in Midtown. The 57-year-old #Bronxite, whose real name is #NathanielGlover, was arrested at his home in Mt. Hope on Wednesday after allegedly killing Jolly on Tuesday night, according to police sources. He had gotten into a shouting match with the 55-year-old man at the corner of E. 44th St. and Third Avenue before the stabbing occurred, the sources said. After the incident, Glover apparently fled and left the victim bleeding on the sidewalk. It's such a wonderful feeling to know how far I have come. ❤️ My memory is a bit hazy but from what I could remember I was in the hospital for another week because I got a fever from the treatment. That afternoon my favorite nurse came into my room and tried to convince me to get out of my room and hang out with my friends in the playroom, but I said no because I felt sad and very weak. My mother said "you should give it a try trust me you will have a lot of fun with your friends". What can I say my mother knows me better than I do.
